The pool and surrounding area. The staff were appalling, the check in took forever and they kept requesting a "voucher " I tried to explain many times that I booked via kayak mobile app so I don't have a "voucher " the reluctantly / eventually accepted the booking reference number. Their cyber long want won't and once again the front deck were very unhelpful when I was trying to do my airline online check in, this time the staff a front desk were down right rude. Then the bar staff didn't have a word of English and were again rude. Wifi service was practically none existent. The nicest people in this whole hotel was the engineer who arrived at our room to repair the wifi connection. Booked a room with side see view, ended up in a first floor corner room over looking the terrace, I suppose if if stretched out over the balcony using binoculars I might have caught a small glimpse of the sea. Having been staying up the road in the sofitel , I can confirm that the Royal Atlas is far from being a five star. More like a three star.
Good quallity price ratio near the beach and the centre of the town.
Very convenient for relaxing. My room were quit good, old TV, and old furniture. It worth's the money. The exhaust toilet fan were not working, and they did not repair it even after we told the hotel staff.
Central. Friendly staff. Clean. Over-priced slow internet - a major turn-off when 20,000 kilometres from home and needing to keep up with business. Therefore, next question would be "No" if the recommendation was for those in need of good internet
Good hotel for family holiday. Good location near beach, shopping and restaurants. Booking.com indicate this is a 4* hotel - its more like a 3*. Rooms is a bit worn out and the hotel could generally use a touch-up if it wants to be 4*.
Very good location There is not free internet in public areas of the hotel as it is written in the description of the hotel here at Booking.com
The location was great and the pool area was relaxing and enjoyable. The room was clean and the service was good. The breakfast was also a great value and we appreciated the selection. The massage was terrible. They had no idea what they were doing. The good news is that the manager graciously gave us back 50% of the cost. The entertainment was average in the evening.
the recpetion desk staff were absolutely appaling the staff
Nice 4* hotel. Only stayed B&B. Food was very nice. Great selection. Fairly big room. Biggest bed I've ever seen. It must have been over 8 feet wide ! comfy as well. Well equipped gym with good range of free weights and machines.
My 7th visit, the staff are like family to me and cannot do enough for me.They know of my charity work for Agadir orphans and show that they hold me and my wife in very high regard.I would never stay in any other hotel Nothing at all.
the relaxed athmosphere, proximity to the beach, friendly staff, free WiFi
Cannot think of anything in particular, balcony was nice but too small to sit on, Pool looked nice, fairly quiet room as at back, bedroom nice, 5Mins or so to beach Hotel in general was a bit strange, breakfast ok but Very basic, staff at reception unfriendly. Room could be cleaner, shower curtain etc, bathroom was old
the nois in the hotel shoud be less and the food smell should found away to make it less
Great location, very reasonable rates. Great pool and entertainment for kids. Rooms dated but otherwise comfortable and clean
The view, and the staff First they give me bad old apartment with the worst view ever, so I had to pay extra to change the room, than I had to pay extra for taxes, which I was unhappy for. Even though the staff were nice, still not happy
huge spacious apartment no information in apartment ie room servce. pool not heated
As a last moment booking, we opted for this so called 4 stars hotel due to non availability in Sofitel Agadir or any others and it's location was near the beach Well few points to sum up the hotel services: -Any complaints were met with indifference from the management. - The room was adequate but nothing exceptional and was not cleaned to a satisfactory standard, room’s decor was straight out of a 1970’s & a shocking look for the 21st century (Almost broke my bones when falling from a broken chair. - The staff lack enthusiasm and generally failed to show any initiative. - The service in the restaurants was of a poor standard but overpriced and the restaurants were always empty and lacking any energy or life. - The pool area is fine but a little cramped without much thought to design. The waiting staff around the pool area were very slow and it always took ages to order food and drinks.
Nothing, its very expensive and does not deserve its four stars. its not even a 3 stars. the rooms are very old, AC not working, durty carpet, price, poor breakfast....its a good 2 stars but not a 4 stars at all.
The room was huge and had a balcony.Excellent value for money You had to pay extra for the safe. The tv reception went when it rained, that is after all when you want the tv
The different activities for kids. The quality and shape of the equipment like TV not working, leaks at the toilet, etc..
Nice view onthe top of the hotel on all Agadir They charged me duble by mistake ....so low when its come to resuld any problem ...no manager on duty
The cleaners were more helpful than reception staff if you needed anything. Bar and entertainment staff were very good too so it made for an enjoyable stay. Couldn't get much help from reception and it didnt help that they didnt speak much english either. They checked us in to a dirty apartment after making us wait 3 hours in reception and not even speaking and explaining what was going on. Our apartment was facing a very busy high street so we asked to be moved and were completely ignored. Finally after requesting a move again we were shown an apartment that was smaller and facing the same noisy road!!
Tennis, live music, the view. Very n asty and rude reception-staff. OK security and excellently kind tennis-staff.
-The staff was very good compared to the other hotels in Morocco. Special thanks goes to receptionist “Amina” whom I mostly dealt with. She was very cooperative. -The hotel is not directly located on the beach like some other hotels. But very satisfactorily centered on the Cornish in an active area close to restaurants, stop station of city tour train, the birds valley and other services. -Rooms in the high floors on the pool and sea side have fantastic view during the day time. (for these reasons, I extended my stay for 5 nights as the hotel overall worth staying in and the service deserve the rate ) -I booked one deluxe double room. I travelled single and I expected some Moroccan ( boy or girl) friend. I was surprised to know that I was not permitted to have a companion in my room. -I was charged for two taxes. Although during my booking it was mentioned that taxes are included except one. -I was given a room in the first floor (city side) for two nights. Location of this room was not good at all. I asked to change it from the beginning. I was tooled there was no room available. They changed me the room on the third night. -I was charged for using the Safe box in the room. That was not cleared during my booking. -Corridors are not very clean. Rooms are good. -Breakfast menu remained the same for five days.
Close to the beach and to tha main attraction of the city I did not like the hotel because the standard was much lower than expected and for the value of money charched, for eample: low standar of the room, poor breakfast, extra payment for safe box and to wait for someone to operated, water run for long time before getting hot.
room desighn no
Help full staff and good location near the beach
Good location This hotel should not be more than 3 or 4 star maximum. It is not a 5 star hotel as advertised on the site
If you just want a place to sleep, this will do the job! While everything in the room was passable, some minor refreshing would go a long way (like new pillows, caulking around the shower, securing outlets to the wall). Nothing too worrisome though, and for the location the cheapest I could find.
