The bed was very comfortable. The staff were not helpful. Asked for some pillows and said they didn't have extra, seems very unlikely. Also, they act like they were the only one at the hotel not willing to help. Basically, customer service needs great improvement.
The view of the mountains. The pool was clean. The jacuzzi was not working but the water was hot. There was a cockroach in my room and after trying to kill it twice i was successful and put it in a paper cup and brought it to the front desk. I told them what happened and they said they sprayed for bugs two weeks ago but they could spray the hallway again and my room. I asked them not to spray till we checked out in two more days. He agred and just looked at me with out offering to compensate us or offer us another room. We have stayed here before every time we come to Albuquerque for the past two years but will think about finding a new hotel to spend our heard earned money at.
This is a nice hotel, especially if you're looking for something last minute. It has everything you need. The pool and outdoor area is awesome, so if you're traveling with kids, they're going to love it. Teepee right by the pool, hotub, pool is half inside half outside. Super fun. The interior is decorated with great local art and it's handicap accessible. Room service is reasonably priced. Staff is incredibly friendly and helpful. Really great stay. The crib it advertised on the website is actually a pack-n-play. That kind of sucked because there's no way to wash those, so who knows how many babies/toddlers have slept/pooped/peed/spit up in it. Bring your own of you're traveling with a small child.
Good access to the areas of town I needed to go to.
The staff was nice and the check-in process was easy. There was no breakfast offered and at the price, I really expect it. Also, the fact that flat sheets were used in place of fitted sheets and a proper duvet cover was slightly off putting. The sheet covering the mattress should be fitted to avoid the feeling of sleeping on an exposed mattress which happened often throughout the night. And the use of sheets instead of a duvet means that the actual bed spread was exposed and I'm certain those are not washed daily like the sheets. Also, there was mildew in the caulking on the tub. Makes for a feeling of un-cleanliness.
All of the staff was very nice. no refrigerator in the room
Very interesting design and easy on/off I-25 The cleaning staff could do a better job cleaning the bathrooms.
Lobby decor Noisy people in room next door ..no enforcement of quiet hours....constantly running toilet in bathroom...no action taken upon notifying hotel staff
Very nicely appointed and comfortable hotel with Aveda toiletries and a great restaurant. Convenient location right off of I-25..
the beds were very comfortable Beds were small for being double beds, bathroom was small shower was very close to door
I thought the Hotel was just great, I loved everything about it. I would defintely stay at Nativo again. Everything was excellent about my stay even tthough I can't click on the dots.
The interior style was unusal and interesting. The towels were quite thick and the toiletry selection was good, Aveeda products. It was very dark and while in our hot climate ( I liive in NM A) it is a relief from the sun, after a while it seemed oppressive.
Beds were confortable, cleaned room, spacious room, it was quite. The room door close quietly. We all like the peaceful environment. The location off the frontage road, the entrance was tricky, to the hotel. Once you got to the main road to the south, lots of traffic on that intersection leading to the interstate highway
Location was good
It was a great location for the activities we had planned- concert at the Sandia Casino, "old towne", "nob hill" and other sights.
We got stuck in Albuquerque due to a blizzard and found the BWES to sit out the storm. The room was clean and comfortable for our family and the staff was great! The ad for the hotel said they had a restaurant and lounge. They did have these facilities next door but not on property.
The room was very quiet and the bed was amazing, I slept very well. The breakfast was hot and very well organized. There was a barking dog in one of the rooms it was so loud it was disrupting the guests.
The lobby was impressive! The staff great! The king sized bed was wonderful! And there was an overwhelming choice at breakfast! The pool area was clean and warm. nothing
My room was two doors down from the elevator and was very noisy. Every time the elevator started it sounded like heavy machinery was in my room. About 5 minutes after the heater turned off there was a loud knock - I kept on saying 'Who is it?' thinking someone was at the door. I finally resorted to ear plugs to get some sleep. My room safe was broken. On arrival it was locked shut. A repair guy came up and 'fixed' it, and when I tried to use it it locked in the open position. I was glad I never actually put my stuff in it. The pool was small and as another reviewer said, they roped off a third of it so it was impossible to do laps. I couldn't set the alarm clock, and when I called the desk for instructions, the night clerk said he didn't know how to do it either.
Our recent stay was pleasant and easy. We stayed over a busy weekend, yet still got a good night's sleep with little to no distraction. Although it's located near the Interstate, noise is not an issue. It is a bit tricky to get in to the parking lot, but once you figure that out you should be all set. There's a water slide in the pool area. We didn't get a chance to use it, but lots of other people were and it looked fun.
Booked room before I read reviews, alot of bad ones, so was really worried when we arrived. Read about rude staff, truck stop, noise from interstate, and strip club. The staff was friendly, saw no truck traffic, strip club is there but looked like it was closed down, not bothered by it, room was really quiet, kids loved it, breakfast at resturant was good. This is the first time I slept under the sheets at any hotel I've ever stayed, thats how comfortable I felt and I'm very picky about that for my family. Room was very clean. This was our 2nd time to Albuquerque, but not our last, WILL STAY HERE FROM NOW ON!
Fair Warning to those that stay here. The staff is not friendly. It always seemed that we were bothering them. When I checked in a young man check me in. He was on his cell phone and seemed like we interuppted his call to check us in. The food in the at the bar was terrible and the manager that was on duty was not friendly and unwilling to help us out with our issues. The pool slide was closed and was a reason why we picked this hotel. I would recommend the NUDY BAR next to the hotel, NOT. a lot of undesirable traffic of homless people as well. if you stay bring you own security because they do not have any and don't care if you have any issues with break ins.
This place should be named buttheads and kiddy hangout! The actual staff here are nothign but childish kids and their friends hang out their with them. When you call to complain about the interenet service, they act like your inconvienceing them and when you ask for a actuall manager, you never get one but another kid who is pretending to be a manager. Their all busy playing on their cell phones and running around literally playing tag. My kids even made a comment on how stupid these kids were that was supposely running this dump hotel. the water slide was out of order and was never working...... I hope others will read this and not make the same mistake as we did. I only wish I read this earlier!!!!!
The staff did not welcome me as I walked through the door and was very unpleasant throughout my stay. The elevator is very noisy and loud. Even my 1 year old was terrified to ride the elevator every time. In addition, I kept having trouble with my keys because the door battery was low. I told the staff and they did nothing about it, until I was locked out of my room for the third time, but fortunately, I ran into the maintenance man. The maintenance man took care of the problem instantly. The room was nice and very clean. The pool was so small and could not handle 8 children at once. You are splashed in the face when someone comes down the slide. Not fun when you have a 1 year old who doesn’t like water In her face. The staff is shorthanded at night and had to wait 20 minutes in line to get quarters for the laundry. I even had to make a disturbance call about a room next to us. Although, When I called the front desk about the problem, the individual did not know how to handle a d...
Room was nice, beds were comfortable, staff was rude and pool was extrememly small. When the slide is being operated you can only stay in half of the pool which is about 6 ft squared, not fun, ordered room service and they said 15 mins over an hour later we finally got our food and it wans't very good
pool is small holds about 12 to 16 kids, hot tub about four adults six if you want to get cozy with a stranger, pool area is small and very noisy, parking lot leaves a little to be desired, very confusing to navigate i arrived their early enough scope it out in the day light, almost witnessed a head on after the sun went down, room AC didn't work but we didn't find out until we returned from shopping. night manager offered a room went to look at it before moving and their were kids running unchecked and almost as noisy as the pool, opted to stay on the quiet floor. staff was nice, room was clean just wont use it again .
I read all these reviews before I stayed here and I CAN NOT believe what they were saying!! The hotel was wonderful, It was beautiful and the staff there was great! I had a some problems and it was taken care of right away. The manager herself came up to my room and fixed our a/c! Now that's great service! I will recommend this hotel to anyone that wants to stay in Albuquerque wth their family because it really was a blast.
My family and I dont get out too often, so I guess you can say a 'family getaway' is going somewhere other than staying home. this place is great for taking the family somewhere without spending alot of money. The have a water slide that my kids loved, and the staff was great! When I needed something for my room, they had it up right away. I highly recommend this hotel to anyone!!
The main reason why I chose this hotel was because of the waterslide, I see it on the freeway almost every day, well the weekend that we stayed looked like they were busy and the pool area was packed beyond belief. I was dissapointed because we couldn't swim and enjoy it. when I spoke to the manager about it she was very professional and extremely helpful to us, she opened the waterslide and watched it HERSELF after the hours so my kids can enjoy it. This is the kind of service that we will tell everyone about because she went out of her way to make sure my kids were happy and I really appreciate people like that. THANK YOU!!!!
Extremely difficult to get to and staff was no help. Had to drive around a couple of times to get to the hotel. Extremely unfriendly and childish staff. Had problems with the internet in my room and the computers in the business area was literally falling apart. No paper in the printers and hotel would not provide. Rooms were ok, however the worst treatment i've ever had with an actual hotel staff including management. They just didn't care!
The room had two chairs to sit at the table not just one. The chair with the ottoman.
staff was efficent heat and air controls
Frankly, nothing. There were baby roaches in the bathroom floor. Dust every where. Breakfast substandard.
The beds were very comfortable and conveniently located near a major highway. I think there was a bullet hole in the window and mold on the bathroom wall. There was also a strange odor in the room.
Friendly staff Decent Pool Wasn't super clean nor updated AC didn't work very well in the room
It was clean, well laid out, helpful/pleasant desk staff and a value.
the staff were very friendly and helpful - the breakfast was pretty good, but crowded - the rooms were updated - safe location... overall we were happy, would recommend. a bit expensive for the price - not too close to tourist sites.
price was right. we were upgraded to double queens right off the bat no cost, and they took us an hour early. the staff seemed rather angry almost all the time. the location of this hotel is extremely annoying to get to and from. the curtains in the rooms were peeling and you could hear your neighbors at night even when they were being quiet.
The staff was extra friendly and the room was on point. Everything!!
Breakfast was great!
basic budget hotel
Staff More breakfast options
Fresh look Damp. Difficult to find. Limited choices at breakfast.
The women at the front desk were great. They were extremely friendly and helpful. The hotel itself is in need of new carpet and paint inside.
Not very healthy breakfast choices. No fridge in room.
