The accommodation is of a very high standard. Breakfast choice is excellent and the food is very good. The twin room we had, had no space between the beds. It was like a double bed the beds were so close together.
Excellent staff: everybody very helpfull, a groom bring me to my room at the arrival, and show me how everything should be used (light for example). Always somebody here just to help. Location in the center of the city, with many nice restaurants around at walking distance. Price of the breakfeast is too expensive compared to thye european standart: 13 GBP for a classical continental breakfeast, and is you want some eggs, sausage or so (the classical english breakfeast), you will need to pay even more.
Gorgeous room, lovely staff although I wouldn't expect anything else in ni, the service is always wonderful in hotels, restaurants, taxis and shops.
The hotel staff were very helpful and the standard of accommodation was excellent.
The room was gorgeous, small but had all the space we needed for such a short stay. The bathroom was lovely and little extras liked candles around the room added to it all. None
Staff were welcoming, rooms were lovely. Breakfast was very nice. Staff booked tickets for a show for me and organised an excellent sight seeing tour. The hotel looked for £400 to be put on my credit card which i found a little excessive seeing as cost of my booking was significantly less.
Loved the location......the bathroom was fantastic !!!! Color scheme in room and had to bypass sunday breakfast......45 Minutes !!!! apparently not enough help.
The room was lovely, very big, and clean. Location was unbeatable. I felt that the hotel staff did not even know that we were guests at the hotel. It is hard to describe but it was almost like u check in, stay, and check out. The first morning, our door was knocked on twice which woke us up. The second night the fire alarm went off at about 2am and also woke us up.... :(
Everything was perfect but... in the bathroom there wasn't the toilet brush!
Very friendly staff in reception and generally service was very good apart from the bar where there were some delays. Nice rooms and very clean. Great location and nice areas to sit and chat Good Internet booking through booking engine was not good as they mistakenly charged for two rooms in advance where as the request was one prepaid room. The bar service on Sat night was not the best as there was a long wait. The directions on your website are very basic for somebody driving from Dublin and could be improved
Perfect central location close to city hall and the continental market, and right next door to the grand opera house. Hotel was spotless and staff were very welcoming, will definitely be back
Location is good Very basic. Check out earlier than noon, unless you fancy a 30min delay at reception.
Cllose to shops
The staff were very pleasant and helpful The view of Sandy Row
The location. Poor/brusque service. Sub-standard facilities (safe didn't work, main light flickered for the entire weekend).
Close to city cente, which made it easy to walk to shops and nightlife Noise from "club" downstairs kept people awake. Located in very loyalist area.
The hotel restaurant was quite expensive as was the room
Rooms are very clean, comfortable and modern
Location Carpets in hallways and dining area were dirty.
Location location location No
I Liked the fact the Hotel was not too close and not too far from the shopping centre and the main square. The only thing i didnt like was the quality of food been served during evening meal.
Found Staff to be very pleasant and extremely helpful Have recommended this hotel to all my family and friends!
friendly atmosphere, good attentive staff in restaurant car park facilities - but this is probably the same in other hotels
I had booked for a non smoking room and was allocated a smoking room. Minor point but it was still an oversight on the hotels part.
Being within walking distance to the shops as this was a Christmas shopping trip. Nothing, liked everything
Very good breakfast. It is in a strategic position in the very center of Belfast. Nice and clean the relax area (pool, jacuzzi, turkish bath) the staff was not very friendly, they speak fast and with a strange accent, difficult to be understood. The internet costs a lot 3£ / 1 h.
General Cleanliness & presentation of hotel. Helpful staff
central location poor car parking facilities
that is was so close to all the shopping centres and the hotel was easy accessed to
Friendly, helpful staff. Size of room and cleanliness. Ideal location for accessing Belfast city centre, pubs and restaurants. Easily located from motorway and secure parking just around the corner.
The staff were outstanding, the location was brillent right in the city center, great value for money
the stff were brilliant very helpful and accomodating all the time. the bath i would advise anyone to ask for a bathmat before you have a shower as i had an awful fall but they were so helpful and i would still return.
Location Sound proof Windows Staff Could be more at breakfast Rooms stuffy
Central location It is rather ordinary
Great location and value for money Traffic noise in ouside room
The convenience in relation to the town. It had a place to eat late evening.
Location is spot on for a great weekend in Belfast
The beds are so comfortable. Bar is lovely. Room was a bit cold, fault with air conditioning.
Staff and food Room could have been cleaner
The staff were fantastic especially John at the desk who dealt with our bags and got us a taxi, wonderful people you have working at the belfast hilton, hope to be back again soon
Excellent value. Great breakfast. Nice views over Belfast. Hotel now 10 years old. Maintenance not given priority - damaged bathroom door, difficult bath/shower tap. Room 309.
The Staff were helpful but obviously frustrated breakfast was chaos and it took 30 mins to organise paying for parking in an alternative garage
Convenience of location Paying heavily to park
Close to the City Centre ,Lovely views and relaxed setting in bar The only thing I disliked was the price of parking, Very Excessive
Proximity to city centre and odysey arena where we were attending an event.
Location was good and the room was clean. I felt the clientel were suited to a stag/hen party atmosphere. The fighting outside the door was not helpful to ensuring a comfortable stay.
Size and cleanliness of room and large screen TV Poor for guest car parking - I found this a big disappointment
Great location arrived by train, Great Victoria Street station immediately adjacent to hotel. Concierge were very helpful in arranging tours. The room was not large but was comfortable and very clean.
The availability of the Piano Bar into the small hours
Great location, great staff! Room was spacious for 3 people! Enjoyed it very much! Highly recommend
Staff were very friendly and patient. My booking wasn't registered with the hotel when i arrived. Unsure if this was a booking.com error or hotel. However the problem was promptly resolved and i had a very pleasant stay.
Good room - excellent resturant - great location Was able to write clean me in the dust on the wardrobe shelf. My colleague was unable to check in until after 3pm and only then because we insisted that a room be made available before we left for an afternoon/evening meeting
Fast, friendly service, excellent food & accommodation, efficient late bar and the valet car parking facility in a busy City centre is a definate plus.
Comfortable, very clean, polite staff and good food
The very helpful Staff!!
Convient downtown hotel. Helpful staff, great amenities. Historic grand dame. Bit pricey.
Location and room layout
An excellent value-for-money hotel. Comfortable, spotlessly clean, and with a friendly ambience. The bed was one of the best we've experienced in any hotel, including several 5 star luxuries around the world, the food was extremely good and very reasonably priced. A lack of dedicated parking was a bit of a nuisance on a dark rainy night. Driving around unfamiliar streets in the dark to find a parking space, then having to walk with the bags in the rain, even though only a few hundred yards (or metres) to the hotel, was not very pleasant.
The location is good and the rooms were big and airy. Nice big bathroom.
Can't say enough good things about the staff. The receptionist a lovely young girl was unbelievably helpful and upbeat. I ended up chatting on receprtion for 10 minutes before going up to my room. When I ate in the Brasserie again the service was top class. The starter was divine(I had the chargsrilled veg with parma ham & pamrsan) When my main came out I had the Seafood & noodles it was very strong with Corainder and when I spoke to the Staff they instantly took it back and brought me out a fresh bowl which was again beautiful. My eggs Benedict for breakfast was only surpassed by the sheer size and taste of the cheese scone! The setting was very relaxed and informal. I will definitely stay again, if only for the service. In bedroom: Huge Flat screen tv with moveable wall mount so I could work in annexe and have tv on. The bathroom and shower were very tastefully designed. Also had a room safe which was useful. Really close to lots of bars and restaurants if I didn't eat in Brasserie. Still a few teething problems due to being such a new renovation. No broadband in my room, a loose plug fitting but very little, a bit of road noise in early morning.(I'm just being picky)
From the moment you enter the hotel lobby you were greeted with a friendly welcome. Staff very customer focused. Room we stayed in was very luxurious and overall Hotel design was well appointed.
Spacious room, attractive decor, large and well-equipped bathroom with separate bath and shower cubicle, large flatscreen tv with good selection of satellite channels. Hotel staff (not restaurant staff) very helpful and polite. 'Kingsize' bed was actually two singles pushed together, no plug sockets anywhere near bed to charge phone overnight, nowhere to put the soap in the bathroom! Poor service in the restaurant (greasy breakfast, tough pizza, very slow service in the evening).
The room was modern, spacious, very comfortable and everything just worked as it should. I didn't think the Irish breakfast was very good.
The Receptionst who was on duty on our arrival was very welcoming and extremely helpful during our stay Nothing would recomend this to friends and family
Beautiful room, quiet and comfortable. Wish we could have stayed longer!
There was nothing that was to much trouble for any of the staff, they were lovely, they all had smiles on their faces. When I checked into my room it didn't look like it had been hoovered so when I went down to reception to say so, the next thing I knew was that it had been done and the manageress was totally apolegetic. Will definately stay there again.
If I thought of something negative to write, I couldn'T. Fantastic experience! The decor in the dining area could have been better. Tablecloths on tables, fresh flowers (Even if it was one) and window treatments.
The staff members were excellent. Very helpful and knowledgeable. I thoroughly enjoyed my stay. N/A
Lovely hotel close to the University. Pleasant and friendly staff. No problems at all during our 1 night stay.
We were given an upgrade to an executive room which was great. Very comfortable and spacious. It ticked all the boxes. Staff was very friendly and helpfull. Hotel is situated in a quiet leafy area yet close to city centre and all its amenities (15 min. walk). Free parking was a great add on since parking is expensive in Belfast. If you have a room to the front on the first floor, above the bar and lounge, there can be noise till quite late at night. We were there on a weekend and the bar was pretty busy on Fri and Sat. We are good sleepers so it didn't really affect us but it could easely affect lesser sleepers.
nice room location quite far from the city centre
Quiet location, pleasant staff, large & comfortable room no
The staff were excellent..from the reception staff to the bar staff, very friendly and welcoming!
the room was beautiful
The hotel staff were wonderful so friendly and accomodating - nothing was too much bother for them. The hotel itself is beautifully kept, clean and very comfortable - I loved just lounging on the big sofa's in the hotel lobby people watching and soaking in the atmosphere. The rooms were very warm even with the heating off and there was a continious quite loud hum which would keep you awake if you did not have the foresight to bring ear plugs!
Comfortable and spacious room Noise form the street
Staff could not have been nicer, especially on reception. Lee Ann, on Sunday morning even came out to the snow covered car park to help guide me out. Bar food was great and reasonably priced. Free car parking - great. Nothing.
The hotel was great for shopping trips to Belfast. The rooms are clean & staff are friendly. Also they have free parking which in city centre hotels is a plus The lift is small & they don't have luggage trolleys to help bring your bags to the room
Nice location, friendly staff, public areas are will maintained and food is good. Room was a bit pricey mainly due to events on. Room also had no external windo . Not a huge issue for a night but made room very dark.
Most of the staff were friendly. The rooms were not too small, bathroom was small but efficient and had everything you need, also good wifi. Convenient location as well. There was a slight smell in the corridors, didn't bother me much but can be improved. I wasn't aware of any meal deals, but had a 3 course dinner at their restaurant - starters and dessert was great, the mains not so great as they were dry (chicken and burger). There weren't many food options though.
Staff and restaurant amenities were excellent.
hotel very cloes to shopping centres and motorway and nightlife
Clean, comfortable, warm and quite. Excellent shower, without noisy plumbing
the room is nice and comfy. i'm definitely going back again if i have a chance.
The room was clean and warm The food was not good particularly the breakfast.
Good staff, good use of space in the rooms Would have liked the bar to be away from the reception area.
Good location, close to shops etc. Rooms are small but adequate. Bathroom is small. Reception and bar are mixed so can be a wait to get checked in or out when bar is busy.
Great location and good price Room was very plastic, but def value for money once you know what you are getting
Value for money and staff on reception both helpful and friendly.Very close to all the amenities and the city centre. Nothing springs to mind.
The location was excellent with just a short walk to go shopping and to have a night on the town.
Good breakfast choice, clean hotel with a good location with a very modern look to it. Checking out took longer than it should as only one desk was in use (there are 3 in total). There was a queue which should not happen around peak times (ie I was checking out at noon)
The hotel was great, the staff was very helpful, and I am going to miss the Breakfast.
My Mum & I had an Amazing time could'nt Fault this Hotel or any of the staff in any way.
The homleness of the whole stay in the hotel and the food brill and pleasent staff we really enjoyed our stay thankyou Nothing everything was perfect...Inever look at reviews
Very pleasant and comfortable hotel no
clean room, good breakfast, easy to get to city centre, good parking
everything had a fab time thank you n love belfast will go vback again soon.
We got upgraded when we got there due to overbooking, i was extremely impressed with that and i found the staff friendly and helpful.I will be going back There is nothing to complain about we had and excellent holiday
The bedroom was very comfortable and quiet and facilities were good. Breakfast was disappointing. Several items were not in the trays and had to be requested - pork sausages, mushrooms, potato bread, crispy bacon. They were supplied with a rather bad grace and crispy bacon never appeared at all. The food generally was under cooked . No fried eggs were available. The tea pot had no lid - a saucer was used.
convenience of location, surroundings, modern style
Clean, modern, friendly staff, good food Very noisey - could clearly hear people talking in other rooms and the corridor at all hours. Difficult to sleep
great location just at the back of St Ann's Cathedral. Lots of beautiful restaurants in the area. Only a 10 minute walk into Victoria Square. Room was immaculately clean and the bathroom was very well designed. Free parking was a real bonus! Will definitely be back!
brand new hotel, clean and fresh.
Its location - very convenient to the local shops, restaurants and bars.
First impression was that hotel was lovely- welcoming. Food was tasty. Throw on bottom of bed was extremely dirty and waited 4 hours to get it changed. Lumpy pillows felt like sleeping on the floor. No hadwash in dispenser in bathroom. Steak too bloody , wasnt asked how I wanted it cooked. Young kids on rugby tour running around corirdors shouting and banging doors- no apology when I complained!!! Felt more tired leaving hotel when the Belfast trip was a birthday surprise for my husband.
Clean cut basic hotel, perfect location fabulous staff and beautiful food would definitely recommend this hotel as it has two car park options and is within walking distance to Odassey/ Titanic quarters and the city centre
Near to city centre with all its attractions-Helpful and friendly staff-Excellent value.
Staff were so helpful and efficent Tea/coffee facility in room
Food very good and free secure car parking is excellent touch. This is our second stay in 7 weeks and will not be our last. My daughter and partner has also stayed here recently They range of draught beers is limited no Smithwicks or McArdles ale
Parking, food, cleanliness, staff Poor views - one of the rooms looked on to huge pipes and was noisy - also that room was cold and should have been heated as it was an accessibility room.
The location of the hotel 11am check out. Please that extra hour means so much especially driving back to Fermanagh
Nice decor comfortable room friendly staff Additional cost for wi fi etc,
Having a spacious room, which was immaculate. I was not of an age group to enjoy the entertainment, and would have preferred total silence.
Spacious room with hardwood floor. Big, comfortable bed. Breakfast served in its nice restaurant. Good full Irish breakfast. Room and hallway lighting is a bit dark. It's about 15 min walk from city center. Not too convenient as I expected.
Loved the bar architecture no parking and receptionist had trouble conveying information clearly
Clean, courteous and helpful staff, convenient location You can hear the night club
It was perfect for me! The staff were very obliging. The bar is brilliantly decorated in a mock Victorian Gothic decor with original artifacts from railway stations, and cathedrals. Relatively no-frills reception and no lounge kept the cost of services I don't use down. The bedroom was relatively simple but had the most comfortable hotel bed I've stayed in. The receptionist even lent me a laptop when mine didn't connect to their wi-fi. I can't fault the place and have recommended highly to work colleagues and others asking for a Belfast hotel. It's homely enough to make a business trip comfortable and has a lively bar for social trips. no
room was good and all staff were helpful
One of the best hotel I´v stayed at during my 20 years in travellingbuisness. The staff in the reception are very-veryserviceminded and professional Nothing, evrything perfect
the room was fantastic, beds very comfortable. The pub was fantastic as was the band that played live on sunday. stone flooring of the pub was rather unsteady/uneven and that was when sober!!
This proved to be a very well run hotel with the most courteous and helpful of staff; it was comfortable, convenient for the City, and probably one of the best hotels in which we have stayed in the island of Ireland over the last ten years. Cant; think of anything that failed to please. Although this hotel is on a busy thoroughfare for the pub/club scene on Friday evenings, the background noise is easy to shut out, given that the bedrooms are double-glazed. Altogether an excellent place.
Benedicts is located close to Queens University and the city centre, so its ideal for a short city break.
Very reasonably prices. Excellent hotel for little cost. Also free parking is excellent as it's hard to find in a city centre hotel.
Nice walking distance of the city, although still quite quiet at night. Rooms fairly basic for the price we paid. £275 for 3 nights is not cheap accomodation.
Very good value, clean, comfortable, great convenient location for everything (trips, walking, etc), quiet, near a good range of restaurants, hotelbar/restaurant was fine, staff were friendly and helpful. Would stay there again and would recommend it as a very good basic hotel.
It's exactly what it offers on the web site. Comfortable and tidy and ticks all the boxes.
The hotel was located near to the ulster museum, botanic garden as well as supermarkets and restaurants. As a family travelling with children, we felt safe in the area. The rooms are modern and clean, though a little small and cramp for a family of 4.The breakfast provided was good and well balanced. It would be better if there is free wi-fi in the rooms.
It was close to amenities, value for money. I booked 4 family rooms, which suit 2 adults and 2 childeren, but when I wanted to put 3 adults into it I had to pay an extortionate supplement and was not happy aboout this.
The breakfast was good and staff friendly We were put in a smoking room as none smoking rooms were not available, but I don't think I asked for smoking room when I booked the room. The rooms were not very sound proof. We were awoken by guests in the next room when they arrived in.
The manner and helpfulness of the staff. We wer offered breakfast on arrival and thought this ws very considerate as we had travelled in bad weather to get there. Also staff gave us information on how to reach most suitable shopping destinations Nothing
Warm with goood location It was noisy at night. The toilet seat wasn't clean.
Breakfast Decor, reception staff attitude
Excellent value, central location, spotless room, pleasant and helpful staff.
hotel warmth N/A
close to pubs clubs food in hotel was good and reasonably priced having to put money on room account meant i got stung for al lthe drink
Great location mere blocks to central Belfast at a good rate for such a nice hotel in the center of a major city. Parking was a little far away and pricey. Staff while hopeful weren't as friendly as I'm used to. That may be a cultural thing because I'm American and I had previously spent a week in the 'warmer' Republic of Ireland but I found the staff here and at other places in the North to be much less likely to greet you or strike up a conversation. Not a huge deal but for me it helps to make me feel welcomed in a new place.
Loved it's central location. Very accommodating and appreciated their attention especially in locating a forgotten camera.
TThe hotel had a nice relaxed, friendly atmosphere. Was close to everything and the staff.were lovely
The Park Inn Hotel is new built, bright and clean with friendly staff, it is located central to Befast City and is a short bus or taxi journey from Belfast City airport. None really, bar prices were what you would expect for a central city location.
location very limited and paid parking
very clean, good heating system, quiet, central location, friendly staff, good pub. pub smoking area- metal chairs very cold to sit on, also outdoor heater would be appreciated.
The whole thing was great from the staff to the location I would recommend this hotel to anyone and dare them to find fault!!!! Bar was very pricy
It was central to the shoppnig area and close to my business appointment There was no roon in the hotel car park
Fast friendly checking, good wifi, good location, lovely rooms. Water could have been a degree or two warmer in the shower but i like it really hot and it was nonetheless fine.
My room was very quiet, with no street or corridor noises, which made me feel very comfortable. It was also very clean, with friendly and efficient staff. Excellent breakfasts, with good choice and quality of food. And location perfect for me. Not one complaint. All excellent.
Beautiful room, very friendly and helpful staff and a lovely breakfast! Only downside is no bar or restaurant but there are plenty close by so not a huge down point
Breakfast is excellent - a bit more than an unsubtle fry-up. Staff are very friendly and helpful and come across as decent people rather than typical false hotel customer-service types. The location is great with a street full of restaurants a few minutes walk away. Duvets too warm - my wife is a person who hates the cold and when she starts complaining its too warm I know there is a problem.
Everything about the lodge was fantastic from the breakfast to the ease of use to the city not a thing
A good, clean hotel in a good location. Nice breakfast. My room, which overlooked the railway line was a bit noisy from about 6am onwards. My colleagues room at the front was fine.
Everything!! Lovely room, great breakfast, lovely toiletries, easy access to city centre, secure parking, helpful and very welcoming staff.
The friendly staff and wonderful breakfast
staff went out of their way to make guests welcome ..everything about tara lodge was worth telling our friends about
Clean and comfortable room, friendly staff, great breakfast. Bath was a bit small.
Excellent accommodation - friendly and very helpful staff - good choice for breakfast
hotel had a luxurious yet cosy feel to it would have liked coffee making facilities in room .
Lovely breakfast experience with lovely dining room, great location, staff all very nice Rooms whilst really lovely were very darkly lit and a bit small given the price.
Amazing Room and service would highly recommend The selection of food in the great room
The Merchant is a stunningly gorgeous hotel, the beauty of the building is only outshone by the excellence of the staff. Nothing.
The management and staff were outstanding and very helpful. I would recommend this hotel to anyone, especially those who enjoy a little bit of luxury. No tea/coffee facilities in the room.
Everything, customer service brilliant, highly recommended. Nothing.
The Merchant is a very luxurious hotel and even though it is in the heart of the City, we were not disturbed by traffic noise in the morning. The staff were very helpful and courteous. We had a lovely experience and would definately return.
Everything about the Merchant was excellent, but the quality of the room really stood out. We stayed in room 528 (a Deco deluxe room) and the view across to Victoria Square and the City Hall was worth the room rate on its own.
staff were excellent without being over the top. Very friendly abd accomodating. The decor is amazing and food excellent nothing I could not fault it
Super attentive staff, exquisite decor, yummy breakfast. My favourite shoes on sale in the hotel- bonus! (Christian louboutins) Rooms were stuffy despite air con (windows could not be opened)
Location, friendliness of staff and general high standards of hotel No parking, although large car park across from hotel - quite expensive daily rate though, perhaps hotel could try and negotiate a special rate for guests
Friendly, efficient staff. Convenient location. Comfortable rooms. Nicely designed and furnished rooms. 'Quirky' details. Would like brighter reading lamps in bedrooms.
We liked the decor, comfort and the attitude of the staff
Decore and the staff
Great location. The bed was excessively hard.
It was in the perfect location
Great location, nice clean hotel friendly staff. The only point that could be improved upon was drections -staff could improve on this point. Otherwise very nice friendly people. See above
Friendly and helpful.
An excellent, really funky hotel; I'd definitely stay there again. There wasn't a bath!
Everything at Malmaison Belfast was outstanding! The staff was great and helpful for anything you needed and could arrange things like black taxi tours, room service, and recommend various restaurants and things to see. The rooms are gorgeous and very spacious. Shower pressure is great! The location is also ideal, being right across the street from Victoria Place shopping Center and other sights to see. Overall great experience and would absolutely recommend everything!
It's city centre location is excellent and having a very good restaurant on site with late night entertainment really made the night worthwhile.
bed very comfy and quiet and its central position. the reception was very dark and uninviting, it wasnt suitable to sit and relax in.
everything was first class, from friendliness of staff to the quality of the room and the food. the price was a bit steep, I probably could have got somewhere equally as nice in Belfast for cheaper.
This hotel needs serious renovation. The price did not match the quality by a long shot. The hotel needs to improve it's customer service.
hotel was freezing cold, the food at the wedding reception was non existent, (not sure whether that was at hotels expense or wedding party) the food that was served was cold, i had stomach problems following day.
I love staying in this hotel on this occasion I mixed up our departure date and the staff were really understanding and allowed us to retain our room for the extra night.I particularily love the whole atmosphere at this hotel and it is always my hotel of choice when visiting Belfast. Nothing we did not like.
Everything from the food, the staff and room service. N/A
Very luxurious hotel in the centre of Belfast Paid my bill on checking out and was asked had I used anything in mini bar, which I replied no,we never do.On checking my credit card account I was charged £9.50 on a seperate transaction I phoned the hotel and was informed the charge was for three packets of nuts and a bottle of water from the mini bar.I was told it must have been a mistake and apologized for the error.A refund was to be made to my card. Careless mistake by someone but I was not pleased.
Piece & quiate.
very relaxing hotel friendly staff and right in the heart of Belfast
