My room was very dirty! There was hair in my towel, like it had just been hung back up instead of washed. Hair in the shower. Dried pee on the toilet seat. Toenail clippings on the floor. Toothpaste all over the faucet. It was not very clean.
I arrived 45 minutes after my check-in time and was asked to wait another thirty minutes for a room to open up. The staff was not of good quality and I will not be staying there again.
When I made the reservation, the location and price were appealing. It when we got there, we were less than impressed with the cleanliness and atmosphere of the motel. The place was seriously dated, we could feel every coil in the mattress, the bath towels were more like hand towels, we had no wash clothes, the AC was turned down to 65 and it was still in the mid to upper 70's in the room. It just didn't feel clean, wasn't comfortable. Then when my husband went to get breakfast at 8:45 (breakfast is from 6-9) they had already put 90% of the food away. The front desk people had no use for us being there. All in all, it was not an enjoyable stay. We will not be returning.
My husband and I had a business meeting on Saturday and we really just needed a reasonable place to stay. The website pictures showed this to be newly renovated motel. It was a fairly nice room, however the bathroom sink didn't appear very clean and it looked to have a leak in the ceiling. The best thing we could say about this place was the friendly staff. However there was a slight mix up with our room. Thankfully the door latch kept us from entering in our room successfully. We weren't mad at all about the mix up just a little started to be walking in on someone sleeping. But the staff was very apologetic and nice and we were as well. Everyone makes mistakes and it was completely fine. We were just thankful nobody was harmed. At the end of our stay we were disappointed that there wasn't any bananas, yogurt and oatmeal left at 8am at the continental breakfast. The continental breakfast was a big disappointment
The young lady at the front desk was very nice and the bathroom was large and clean. The pictures of this hotel and the rooms that are shown on the website are NOT reflective of what this hotel looks like now. It is very deceptive. I would have NEVER made reservations if I would have known the real situation. This hotel looks the same at the pictures from the front but you can't actually see the rooms until you drive around to the side. The building and the walkways were dirty as well as the doors. The air conditioner covers were falling off and all of this was before we even got in the room. Once we opened the door the smell of wet dog was overpowering. Only one lamp worked and the chair and ottoman were filthy. Really filthy. The floor was clean and the bathroom was large and clean. Also, this property backs up to a wooded area and for a Mom and daughter traveling by themselves we did not feel safe.
Clean, cozy, and comfy. No problems, and an overall great weekend. Sign was slightly tricky to see at night in the rain upon arrival, but wasn't bad at all after the downpour stopped.
Nothing! This place should be shut down!!! It was horrible... There was dead roaches all over the place and some climbing the walls. The TV remote even had a smashed dead roach on it. The sheets had food on them. The door entrance looked like someone used a crowbar to get in. No hot water; so couldn't take shower but still wouldn't due to the dead roaches on floor as well. You couldn't watch TV due to reception was so horrible that all you could see was squiggly lines. I was so disgusted that I took pictures to prove my facts! I will never recommend this place to anyone. Please shut down!
We didn't arrive expecting a 5 star hotel for the price we were paying, but we also did not expect what we received. While checking in at the front desk to the clerk who could not stop smacking her gum we noticed prostitutes all around. We still decided to get the room because it was only for the night and we would be inside. While walking to our room we went down a walkway that had mattresses thrown over the rails and people gathered all around. Odd, but whatever. We get to our floor and there are people all over the walkway smoking pot and dealing drugs. Unlock the room and see roaches crawling across the ceiling, not one, but at least ten. We loaded our children in the car, drove to the front desk and asked for a refund. The same lady smacking her gum rolled her eyes and said someone would have to check the room to see that it could be re-rented. We left. Do not go to this hotel unless you are looking to catch a disease or buy drugs.
Plenty of hot water. Price. Outdated television with poor picture. Mildewed shower curtain. No control knob on the air conditioner. Had to get manager to come turn on the air. No Kleenex. No hand towels/only two bath cloths and two towels for two people and they were old and dingy. Poorly made beds.
Easy access to the interstate. The lady who cleans the room. The best overall part though was leaving. When we checked in they said they were updating their card machine so it was cash only. I don't carry cash so I had to find a machine. We had a meeting the following day and the lady at front desk said we could check out at 12. Two minutes after 11 the next morning the I guess owner called the room and said check out is 11 get out. When I tried to call him back the phone was not working. I went down and tried to explain and he kept telling me check out was 11 and I was wasting time standing there talking to him. There was music coming from two doors down from us that started playing at 8 am and the bass vibrated through our room.'there were little ants in the tub. There was also a hole in the bathroom wall but it was covered with a tissue or paper towel stuffed into it. Don't forget shampoo and blow dryer because they are not furnished. The little fridge smelt bad and made a clicking noise every few minutes. I guess you get what you pay for but I so believe I overpaid.
