all the hotel facilities, staff, rooms were excellent. Its an international hotel therefore the lobbies are always busy with in tours coming and going. We arrived by car and the hotel is placed a long way out, which might make it difficult to find. We soon found our bearings and with free public transport for over 65s and an excellent restaurant round the corner it turned out to be a very good choice
nice executive rooms; nice separate breakfast for executive room customers + lounge; good internet connection; shuttle bus some more active "hellos" and "good mornings" in the breakfast wouldn't do any harm (=some of the staff)
The staff were tremendous and catered for your every need, the experience of executive club was second to none and well worth the little bit extra you pay
Very helpful staff. Good facilities. The hotel is too far from the city centre, though once mastered the public transport is useful and cheap.
Use of the pool I was afraid of water when I arrived was swimming before I left, the three different pools made this possible
the bed was very comfortable no balcony and not able to open windows any better
Room and spa with pools area. Lobby was also nice and warm Location. Also I did not understood the prices in Lotos bar. We had drink that should be about 50-60 Euro and they charged 100. Some hidden cost seems to be.
very helpful staff. There were no executive rooms left so I was up-graded to the apartment! not close to city centre. You must reach it by car or taxi
The spa facilities and the general running of the place. The air con could not be turned off and this lead to a perminant sore throat/ cold, I complained and was offered another room, but found that room had the same problem, this I realised was a function of the main hotel AC. The cost of items of food and drinks in the room bar was in my opinion excessive for example, a 500ml bottle of water was charged at approx £2.34, the cost for the same bottle outside of the hotel was approx.£0.25p. Whilst accepting that the hotel will add a margin, approx 1000% seems a little high.
The spa pools were very good Very expensive breakfast
An uncommon hotel on a boat, very nice, very confortable. Interesting if you have a car... Bad internet connection, not enough fresh air (windows can not be opened), far from the center of Budapest, lot of spiders on the deck...
location ,a bit far out
everythings was good is very difficult too find hotel
it was clean and the view was great it was far away from the town center
The staff was very friendly. The closest train station is a kilometer away from the hotel so you have to walk pretty far every day to get anywhere. The train station is also very small so you can't buy tickets from the ticket machine if you don't have 100FT or smaller coins and they don't have ticket office. The train takes you to a main station so from there on it is very easy.
Of the rooms we stayed at, this had the best breakfast, the best rooms and the most reasonable price.
Excellant, friendly, helpful staff, spacious rooms. Public transport into Budapest no problem. Bus 34 at end of short road. Lots of live music along riverside bars and restaurants. Train to airport every 15mins from Nyugati station, so avoids the peak travel delays getting to airport on time. Free ferry at weekends to Budapest centre, relaxing.
location, tranquility, clima (air conditioning) and that i could'nt open the window
The staff was excellent.
The unusaul location, the personnal service from the staff.
position the price
Very poor English at the restaurant and the pool. Reception was ok
The staff in the resturant were welcoming anf friendly as were the staff in the wellness centre. The female receptionists on the front desk however tended to be aloof and rather unwelcoming and the younger lady with the dark hair was rude
Wonderful view of the Duna river, superb location and walkway next to the river. Parking is excellent, although ten euros per night. Very difficult to find even with hired car; one can miss the right turn of the main road. Public transport is limited to busses.
The view on the river is really very nice. The environement is quiet. It is a little inconvenient to have to take 1 bus and a tranway to be at the downtown. (I would propose to the hotel to offer some kind of suttle at least once a day). As the reception is not where the rooms are, sometimes the place can be a little noisy during sleeping hours and there is nodoby to take care of that.
The room was really nice, the bed comfortable, the stuff friendly and the pools were great as well. Beware - cold water pools, so only for hot summer days ;-). There is also a gym, but finally we went running on the river side (at the door of the hotel), as it is really beautiful and calm there. We didn't have enough towels in the room. The grill restaurant is decent, however knowing Budapest I know better places to eat than there.
The fittness center, the swimming pool, the possibility for jogging and a very good restaurant, all in one place in a very quiet environment. In some of the rooms in the cupboard there is no possibility to use coathangers of my own. So each cloth has to be unpacked an put on the room coat hanger.Practically suits brought with its own coathanger has to be repacked.
Nice hotel outside of Budapest on the Danube, foc internet and parking, very friendly staff
Nice and comfortable hotel near the danube, very friendly staff
Breakfast, swimming pool, people speak english. Quite far away from the center but close to the clubs.
Quiet, nice and clean. Very friendly staff. Good choice if you don't need to be very close to the city center.
Good location, kind staff. Very good breakfest. No
The metro train passes right next to the hotel, so if you are a light sleeper you better close your windows tight.
Front desk staff was helpfull. We left at 5 am and they prepared for us a breakfast package. Very nice. Good connection to the center (20 min) Basic furniture and facilities, but good value for this price.
Clean room, frendly staff. Train station very close, ask for opposite rooms to avoid any noise. Not so easy to find if you use the navigator, use the booking.com map!
Very helpful English-speaking staff, clean room with shared balcony, very good location for what we needed. Basic breakfast, but a nice addition nonetheless.
Very helpfull staff, very good condition for the price of hotel Very easy to be reached only with GPS by car
When we arrived to the hotel we got a quite small room but the staff asked us right away if we wanted to change to a bigger room in couple of days. Great service!
Free parking, nice breakfast, great beds very hard to find, at night no one that speaks English or German
Very cheap and convenient to reach the Grand Prix track. Mini-bar was very well stocked and reasonable, room also had a shared balcony, and plenty of parking. Breakfast buffet was mediocre, shower gel/shampoo was only in sachets.
location in a green place and the staff who was very frendly the toilet haven't windows and de reek of
Price and value for money, rooms were clean and very nice. No air conditioning, summer was hot in 2007
clean, quiet, hotel staff very ok
staffing speaking english room was dirty, very noisy, could hear everything happening in other rooms (like everything), TV remote control not working, bathroom had the water sink drowned, after a shower the floor was full of wated
Staff was very polite and helpful about everything we needed. Rooms were clean, tidy and spacious. View from the room was on the wild field with trees. It was a quiet and peaceful environment. Breakfast in hotel was good, everything was as expected. Hotel has it's own parking. Train station is close to hotel, just a few minutes of walk, and train arrives every 5 to 8 minutes, going directly to the center and red metro line.
Very good staff, good location (not too far frm center, near tram station) Room was not so clean as it could be. and also - breakfast was poor.
Staff and the location. It is a little far away from the center, but it is cosy, feels like in the nature and at 10-15 minutes walking distance you have a HEV station for getting to the middle of Budapest. This is the right place if you need a reasonable priced, quiet and relaxing stay in Budapest. If you are a clubber you should search for something closer to the heart of the city. Taking into account the quality for the given price, nothing.
good location (easy to reach by public transport as well), friendly staff, good rates, internet and parking is included
Very good access to the center by city train, leaving every 15min. Personel was kind and helpful, you may feel comfortable and freely. Breakfast is plenty and held till 11, so you can sleep till 10 if you need it ;) A little dust on furnitures (shelves). Breakfast could be more diverse and including some warm meals.
Very friendly and helpful staff, nice area and surroundings It's a bit far from the city center, but the transportation is very convenient.
Good value for money Noisy street
Price and internet access. Rooms should be better cleaned and generally maintained better. Furniture is really a joke.
Staff as usual very good, very pleasant and helpful. The room was clean and dry. The breakfast was a delight, thank you Nothing
position and parcking yes, the linen, cleaning, bathrooms, breakfast
Welcoming, kind and helpful english-speaking staff. Excellent Breakfast. Very close to a Lidl supermarket. Price-quality ratio. The two hev train stations near the hotel are must unhospitable, making us very unease when returning at night.
The hotel personnel, availability to city center and the low price were pleasant Repair is necessary to hotel
The Hotel was a good one .
The location is quite bad. I made a confusion between the Attila Street (far away) with Attila Avenue (downtown). Otherwise I would not choose this hotel because I wanted something more conviniently located. But, if one wants to be in the neighboorhood, this hotel is nice.
Good location, calm place I can´t pay my hotel bill by credit card!!!!!
The noise in the nights was signifiant.
The hotel staff were extremely helpful with directions and changing money. The breakfast was nice too. The bathroom was small and cramped.
yes, i didn't like the fact that we had spiders in the room, the room wasn't so clean, and it was very far from centre (at least 20 min)
the gift in our room ...
At this point we did not want to be in a hectic downtown atmosphere. We were very pleasantly surprised at the remoteness of the hotel with a pristine view of the Danube and a multi mile jogging, walking bicycling path abutting the property. The indoor outdoor dining area with a view to the Danube made it a romantic setting. no
The staff was very friendly and room was great. The sauna is very spartan, otherwise ok.
clean rooms, friendly stuff, quiet location near Danube, tasty breakfast building lot nearby
Quiet place, parking place in fron of the hotel. Very bad kitchen. I had to claim a salmon.
The Breakfast was great and big Noise, there was a wedding down stairs
Nice hotel, good price, location not too far from town-center
The hotel is well located very close to the city center and with a great view to Danube. Nice, spacious and clean rooms. The breakfast is excellent. The hotel is a very good choice for vacations or business trips.
Helpfull reception staff. Good, clean room. There are refrigerator and conditioner in the room. Good wireless internet in the room. Good prvate parking. Good breakfast, but the same from day to day. TV channels mainly hungarian. Only several in german and english. No russian channels.
Hotel staff was friendly and helpful. Food in the restaurant was excellent and good value for money.
Basic facilities, excellent restaurant.
the position close to M3 and only 10 km far from city center was ideal for the weekend of the GP. Breakfast was good enough, the free parking is a plus in Budapest and the manager of the hotel was very kind. The unpolitness of some from the staff. At the check in we were told that there was not a booking for us, because they neglect to check the names. When i showed my booking printed and i indicated "here is written hotel Hunor" the lady answered me "yes, I am able to read!". I think this is not the way to deal with customers. However, I lived in Budapest for 4 years, and I had to learn that this is a quite standard behaviour to accept there. Rooms and their toilets definitely need a renovation, some room in the dependance didn´t have hot water. The dependance is definitely to avoid.
Much below the description.
