Cons: I have an annual CDW excess insurance. On arrival at he Europecar desk I was rudely told that my insurance wouldn't cover any damage to the vehicle outside of an accident with another vehicle. When I asked how he knew this without reading the insurance schedule he continued to assert his position. When I acquiesced and purchased the Europecar insurance at €20 a day ( for which I received no schedule of coverage) his mood changed. I believe I was scammed. I will contacting Europcar directly about staff conduct.

Worse car experience ever
Pros: Absolutely nothing
Cons: Attitude of staff at the time of hiring and return
The actual car was a disgrace, the gear change was so 'loose' my wife couldn't drive it, underpowered
The car radios controls had been painted out so couldn't see what to do to use it
Staff on return were very aggressive
Cons: We arrived to Crete, there was no counter for Dollar, no person to take the invitation and the car pool was empty and closed! Can't believe I trusted you with my family!
I ended up calling Dollar support and they said "there is suppose to be someone there" - bottom line - they have no clue!!!
I tossed the invitation to the garbage and went to a local rental. Guess what!? Kayak gave me a 270 Euro proposal, not including car seats for the babies and the local gave me a 240 Euro *including car seats*
This was just embracing for Dollar.
Thankfully I haven't payed anything to Dollar. If I would, I would probably sew them by now!
Never taking this company's services again.
