Great hotel for quiet and confortable stay. Close to public transit (one station to downtown). Very spacious, fully-furnished appartment for the price. Better than what i expected: thumbs-up ! Great staff and facilities (gym, pool, internet). Excellent restaurant, grocery store in the building. No complaints.
The studio apartment room had lovely interiors. We rented bikes from the hotel which was really great. However the lack of free internet in the rooms was definitely a downfall. The free internet in the lobby was a little spotty. The location was a little far removed, but at least it was close to a train station.
Breakfast was surprisingly good and the staff very friendly. Underground parking is expensive (as everywhere in Copenhagen) but facility is clean and safe. 150 DKK per 24 hours in room wi-fi per computer is not family friendly. others charges less or nothing. Wi - fi in lounge is FOC.
great rooms limited internet access - free only in lobby area
The mini kitchen with plates, silverware, and refrigerator. Allowed us to shop for groceries at the mall and save $ from the expensive food in Copenhagen. The extreme taxes on hotel stays. The taxes was 1/3 the total cost. My last visit to the city.
Great location. Easy reach of town center, sights and transport. Good facilities. Room was comfortable, warm and well appointed. Reception staff and room staff were all fantastic. Close to a small supermarket and across from a great little Italian restaurant - Tio Mario, as well as the adjoining hotel restaurant Ottos which did a good breakfast. Both very minor niggles....Toiletries provided were slightly haphazard - shampoo and conditioner only one day, shower gel and shampoo the next! Jacuzzi could have been a bit warmer .....
the location is good, it is near the the port, and there is bus 26 to the center [about 15 minites drive], itws in a pleasant neighborhood and about 10 minites walk to the The Little Mermaid. Price does not include breakfast and adding breakfast is very expensive.
The cleanliness, the staff was very friendly, the rooms have fridge and a microwave so you can save a bit by bringing food over. No free wifi on the room, the shower is no door/curtain style, and water gets everywhere in the bathroom, but looks fancy as hell
Unfortunately I didn't have luck with the hotel at all. First of all I have reserved an apartment, nevertheless the lady on the reception was convincing me that this a normal room. I was too tired and at the first moment I agreed on the room. I was quite surpirzed when I found out that there are blood stains on the bed sheet (obviously bed sheets were not changed). I went again to the reception and asked for immediate change of the room. The answer was that they don't have such room, or there is one available but the TV is not working. When I asked to speak with the duty manager, that was rejected with the explanation that he\she is not in the hotel at the moment (4 Star hotel without a duty manager??? Hear for a first time).
Spacious rooms compared to most European hotels in this price range (beautifully designed & appointed, too). Nice little balcony. There is a grocery store just down the street, so we saved a lot of money by shopping and preparing food in the well-equipped kitchenette instead of eating out at restaurants, which made this hotel a better value than it would have been otherwise for the nightly rate.. Nice breakfast buffet was also included in our rate (very friendly staff in the restaurant). Loved the indoor pool/hot tub. It was a great convenience to be able to do laundry right in our room, but my only (minor) complaint is that the settings for the clothes dryer were difficult to adjust effectively, despite the instructions provided in Danish and English. After three hours of drying time, our clothes were still quite damp. Then it kicked in to overdrive, dried everything to the point of shrinkage, and steamed up the bathroom enough to make puddles!
The wonderful roomy apartment and the friendly staff
I liked the fact there was a kitchen fridge etc to make snacks. The swimming pool and jacuzzi was also a lovely addition. Staff at the desk were very variable- ranging from helpful to rude! Dish washer needed servicing so all the china glasses etc were not very clean.
The cousy atmosphere and the location Cleaning was nor to good. Spider webs
location, breakfast was quite ok. It was very noisy, both from outside and inside, walls are really thin and as bathrooms/toilets are in the corridor, there is a lot of movement and the doors are loud. There was a strange smell, it wasn't very clean, there is no proper reception, we had trouble in finding out how to get in the building where the hostel is, no indication that it was on the first floor. No lift either.
The location was very good for my trip to Copenhagen. I like specially the breakfast and the attitude of the staff. This is not a very fancy hotel but very reasonable
Very good breakfast. Familarity. Nice hostess.
Close to place I did business. Hotel pretty ordinary. Bathroom in corridor
The Booking.com website did not mention the lack of bathrooms in the rooms when I used it for booking. My booking confirmation did not show it either. Possibly due to my complaints, this has been corrected now. Beside the fact that up to 16 residents share 2 bathrooms and 1 toilet, those shared facilities are dirty and run down. Cleaning would really improve the situation. Also the room was not clean - even the map with tourist info was simply dirty. For just 20 Euro more, you get a proper room at the Nora Hotel (with a clean bathroom).
Quite close to the city centre, nice spacious garden, easy-going personnel, free internet, quite a large room, breakfast was OK, roomrates are OK; personally I find it too expensive for what it is, but found out all of the city is quite expensive so might be reasonable after all. Old bathrooms, repairments were done like I was used to in my student appartement (very low-budget), not so clean, low quality beds
As a business traveller, this family run guesthouse was a refreshing change to the standard characterless large hotel chains
Informal, relaxed, small and welcoming hotel with a decidedly homely atmosphere and an excellent breakfast. Bathroom is shared, but bathrobe and slippers come with the room. The centre is at easy walking distance, and the neighbourhood is lively and well worth exploring.
