We enjoyed our stay at Omni in Dallas. Room is clean, bed is comfortable, pool is awesome and the restaurant "Texas Spice" is really nice. We recommend this hotel for families looking for luxurious place to stay in Dallas. None
Being greeted with champagne Live band in the lobby Clean and comfortable room Staff were friendly and professional
The spa services were exceptional. Bob's chop house was delicious and convenient for my husband and I to celebrate. Our room was ready and clean the three days we stayed. The only complaint was that we thought there was a mini microwave and there wasn't. Other than that we were fine.
Luxurious rooms, very nice spacious bathroom.
The staff was very helpful. The Texas Spice and Box Office Staff were exceptional. The food at Texas Spice was great. The view was awesome. The beds comfortable. My daughter has stayed there several times before, and the price was atleast $100.00 a night cheaper than what I paid. We were also charged for wifi and self parking was very expensive. We stayed 2 nights, and after the cleaning people had been in our room, the sink handles had not been wiped down. For the price of our stay not sure we got the quality. Not sure we will come back.
We loved the room , restaurants and felt it was a good value for amenities We called to make reservations to the Texas Spice & got no answer. Front desk tried and told us restaurant was booked. Called restaurant 10 min later. They answered and got us in at our requested time. Restaurant was half full. So communication breakdown. But it all worked out
pet fee was a little high
Great experience. We had a great view of downtown. Pool closed too early. Parking too expensive.
The rooftop pool was an amazing feature. The pool was a blessed relief after a hot, muggy day. It was also in a central location downtown. Plenty of restaurant options nearby - although the hotel restaurant - Texas Spice - was a nice option as well. The work out facility was up to date with amazing views of the city. Certainly worth while.
Size of room Many large groups that were very loud and partying.
The pillows and bed were worth every single penny. Getting ready for a night out with my husband and being able to watch tv in the bathroom was a luxury I will not soon forget. Breathtaking view! We requested a quiet room but there was a convention with young teenagers staying there and they were a bit unruly and loud.
Vary nice lobby/public area and the room was vary cleen beautifully decorated The staff was horrible! The bellmen left one of my bags in the room and when I call to see if they have it. The front dest gave me the runaround and I wound up speaking to 6 people in different departments all don't know what happend to my bag. The staff at this hotle was the unhelpful and rude. There are other great hotels in the area I suggest you find one of them.
The room was clean enough. Valet is a joke. Staff is rude. Not pet friendly at all. Terrible location, hard to access. Expect long waits for any service needed and fees that aren't shown online. Make sure to really check your bill upon leaving. Ours was screwy. Couldn't complete a quick check-out, because we had to go to the desk to get it fixed, which took forever.
My entire experience was weird. When we first arrived, we wanted to unload our car and I got yelled at like I was a child. Literally yelled at. I had to be firm back in order to get direction as to what te he'll I was supposed to do. Then, upon check in, I was informed that for our two cars, self park was $40. I had no idea it would be so much. I was extremely unhappy but tried to remain optimistic. I purposefully found a hotel with a Pool per request of our group. The pool is a sick hilarious joke. It's the size of a van. It was ridiculous. It was also completely full because of the 10 whole people who were in it. Left the hotel an figured out they overcharged me. Called them and they "took care of it". Well they isn't it still is not reconciled in my account. Over charged, expensive parking, rude parking dude, misleading pool size.
Super pet friendly. They welcomed my dog with a hyatt dog bed and dog dish for her and also gave us two treats that she enjoyed. However, there is a pet depost of $100 that's non-refundable
Parlor rooms are pull out beds not a actual bed, Kayak did not define that
Very nice hotel, with excellent meeting facilities. Very convenient to West End nightlife and dining. Good food. Easy and cheap access to airport via rail (DART or TRE). The train is a little noisy, even on the opposite site of the building.
Everything else. Overpriced compared to facility. The room could have been cleaner. The entrance location is a bit tricky for pedestrians. Not my best hotel experience.
Contemporary rooms with great staff. Highly satisfied.
Friendly staff, beautiful location and near everything. PARKING
View was awesome! Staff was really nice and helpful. Definitely will be stay here again when the chance comes up Nothing was wrong
A remarkable hotel at the epicenter of Dallas. The hotel has immediate access to all local Dart rail trains (leading everywhere), the T (taking you to Fort Worth) and Amtrak with straight connections to Chicago and Los Angeles. A memorable vacation starts with 1 or 2 nights here and then a surprise trip either on Amtrak or Dart out to DFW airport. The atrium is amazing with views of Reunion tower and the famed 560 Wolfgang Puck's restaurant. Make your reservations at least 2-3 weeks out to get an available time slot for a memorable night viewing downtown Dallas from 3/4 of mile away and 560 feet up in the air. Room was spacious and immaculate and view of downtown, rail station, Omni was incredible. Request a view of downtown when you check in. Valet parking is a little pricey so I opted for self pay parking at the Amtrak station ($6 for 12 hours)
I loved the location. Friday nights dinner at five-sixty was wonder full and the view amazing. Saturday morning we awoke and took a stroll through downtown dallas. And the shops on the 1st level were convenient. So last weekends stay was all for fiancee....Shes been really stressed lately and i wanted to give her a night to remember.First off partially my fault, but i booked on prom weekend so parking was horrible. I actually ended up parking across the street from Reunion Tower. Then greeted at the front desk i find that they've stuck me into a double queen handicap room, not ok. After speaking with the young lady down stairs she apologizes and gives me a different room. Again its a double queen not the single room. I had booked. Then when i go to wash up before dinner at the five-sixty, the drain to the sink was clogged and water poured on to the floor. Kids at the prom were having fun on the balcony, they were laughing, screaming and enjoying theyre night. Unfortunately for us, we were located right above...
Hotel is very nice. very disappointed at the fact that we had to pay for parking after spending good money to stay overnight. If already paying for a room, should not have to pay extra for parking.
The rooms were spacious and clean and the staff was very friendly. It was very easy to check in and out. The parking was very easy, and I was able to park close to the entrance. The parking was very expensive. Normally I pay nothing to park at other hotels, but I have paid up to $15 for parking a day. ($3 Anatole was $22 a day and the parking lot was almost empty.
TV kept loosing signal, staff question were not concrete and contradicted each other. The climate control wasn't working. Along with the facilities feeling humid n hot. Very uncomfortable especially with the weather of above 104.
Size of the room There was only one front desk representative at both front desks at 6:30 pm. I needed another key a was quite a wait. The parking is a total pain for $19, the gate readers do not work well. There was only one small trash can under the desk and none in the bathroom. And there was a creepy crawling visitor in the shower on the 20th floor.
Everything was excellent.. Maintenance man knocked on our door at 9:30 to clean AC filter. We had Do Not Disturb sign on the door but he still knocked on the door. Kept knocking few times and woke me up.
Check-in service, fairly affordable parking for the area, & the lobby was beautiful The hotel is an atrium hotel and is extremely large. During my stay there was a prom, a conference, and a wedding hosted by the hotel - it was extremely noisy and crowded. While its very large, its also quite an old hotel. There's one set of elevators for each atrium and the walk to and from the room is really long! Kayak listed it as 4 star and I've generally had a great experience with selected 4 star hotels throughout the country; this one was extremely disappointing.
Customer service was bad. Also not enough staff.
Asian Art They put us in the middle of a high school cheerleading convention. Didnt sleep one night with teenage girls running wild throughout the hallways at all hours. Management did NOTHING to control them. Management offered no apologie or follow up. I will NEVER stay at a Hilton again!
I did not like the fact that the attendants behind the counters did not inform us about the breakfast at the lounge especially after we paid for the executive room which included the breakfast. We had to go to the other restaurant in the atrium to eat and pay... The attendants in the hotel are not good.
Big facility with things to do. Basketball court was closed at 8pm. Rooms were dated
SER steak house was great everything. no continental breakfast, nickel and dime you for everything. rooms were dirty, linens were dirty
The only pluses: nice beds, great sheets and pillows, room was very clean. For this room costing me $400/night it was a fairly poor value. The bathroom was so small that I had to climb over the toilet to get in and out of the shower. No balcony, no sitting room, the plumbing gurgled and rattled every time anyone used it nearby, and I could hear everything going on in the adjacent room. The hotel is sooooo huge and no signs or directories. People were constantly lost and asking each other for directions everywhere I went (I don't get why they don't have signs in TX, not specific to the hotel alone, very few signs on the roads too). So basically the room was a confort inn with a hilton price tag. Nothing complimentary or included, not worth the money. Stay at the Sheraton across the street.
Nothing. Upon arrival we were told that all the king bed rooms were taken which we had reserved prior to. Then we walk into the room that wasn't clean. Beer cans strewed everywhere, beds were filthy and trash all in the room. Not only that but the elevators were out of order and we had to climb 8 flights of stairs each time we left the room. Worst stay ever
Amazing hospitality and service. I was suggesred to join a free awards members club for the starwood hotels at check in which allowed me a club level pass for a happy hour, complimentary breakfast and wifi. Dallas is a spread out city so it was only a short drive to downtown activities which meant uber/lyft friendly. It would have been better if it were a true walking distance but location was still really good just not great if you want to ho into extreme detail but still very satisfied.
Loved the pillows and how big and beatiful it was! The staff were very friendly also I didn't like that there wasn't much to do inside the hotel but it's definitely no reason not to stay there
The staff was extremely nice. They were very concern about my issues. I was very upset because of the third party booking but the staff was very patient, polite and accommodating. My stay was enjoyable and the room was very clean.
Rooms were nice and clean. 1 out of 4 elevators were working and we all had to walk 30 flights of stairs with all of our luggage. There was no apology or compensation for anything. I understand technically issues happen but we were on the 30th floor and it had been 8 hours.. ridiculous.
Staff was helpful with directions. Rooms were clean and nice. No drinks in vending machines on 3 different floors we tried. Only one snack vending machine that needs exact change on the far side of the other tower we didn't even stay in.
Staff was friendly One of my families had dirty linens when they checked into their room. Another had a hole with mold on the ceiling. We had ants in our room. For the cost of the hotel I feel the rooms should be better and there should be some kind of breakfast included.
Was not given the room we pre-paid for. I had booked a king bed, my wife and I arrived at about 9:00pm and were given two double beds. I thought that was a pretty rookie move by the kid behind the counter, who said there were no more king beds available, despite my having pre-paid for it. Not cool.
The common areas were beautiful and staff was extremely helpful and pleasant. Our room, room 1913 in the South Tower resembled a cheap motel room on the outskirts of town. There were stains on the walls and on the comforter, holes in the wall, wall paper pealing from the wall... Overall status of the room was extremely poor.
............. Someone was smoking weed on my floor because my room smelled like we had 4+ blunts going at the same time. Repeated calls to the front desk for assistance was completely useless. The only decent thing in this hotel is the bar, to drink away your anger for being stuck in this horrible hotel.
We were supposed to have a room with two queen-size beds and instead we had two full-size. was very hard for four people to sleep in two full-sized beds.
Good stay overall! One complaint was told via email and booking that the room included breakfast even the server with breakfast told me it was included but somehow I was charged anyway. Ill just make sure to be mindful the next time.
The location is the reason I booked this hotel. Room smelled like wet mildewed gym socks. The bed was beyond uncomfortable. The toilet paper even felt like it was from the solitary confinement section of Riker's Island! We were forced to have our room keys re-magnetized 7 times in two days. I am very conscious not to let my cell phone come in contact with the keys etc, but it was a habitual problem. I have never experienced that in all the many places I have stayed in the past. The front desk staff was disinterested and going through the motions every time they were approached. Warm hospitality is not their strong suit. I really discourage this hotel when staying downtown. Go somewhere else.
It was close to the 6th floor museum Noises, lots of people coming in and out because there was a big party in the club located inside. Relaxing was impossible.
The staff was very friendly and helpful. The pool area was rundown. furniture broken and old. did not like that after a certain hour, the hotel bar turns into a nightclub with a $10 entrance. we just wanted to go have a drink at the hotel bar and it went from a nice hotel bar earlier in the day to a cheeky vegas nightclub packed with 20 somethings. We just wanted to go from our room to have a cocktail, not the gross club!
The front desk staff were friendly and helpful. The room, though somewhat older, was clean and the bed was reasonably comfortable. Water pressure on our floor (15) was good, but a friend staying on another floor (18) said that it was barely a trickle. Although we didn't use the pool, its location on the ninth floor was nice. Downtown Dallas, like downtown of other large, Texas cities (e.g., Houston) is just not a great location. We arrived on a Sunday, and very little was open. We walked several blocks to find dining options other than Subway, McDonald's or 7-Eleven. The hotel is not far from a Greyhound station and several urban parks, so there were often groups of people hanging around near the hotel that made the place seem a bit unsafe. The hotel is on the older side, and could stand to be upgraded a bit.
Shower head was much to short for a tall person. I kept hitting my head on the spout which was both painful and disgusting.
Location is great, Dallas World Aquarium is within walking distance so you do save on parking. The hotel stay was ok, the room had a microwave and a fridge which I wasn't expecting so that was nice. You basically get what you pay for. The hotel is downtown and I checked other downtown hotel rates and they were quite expensive so settled on this. It's not a luxury hotel per say so plan to spend some time exploring the downtown because that way you get a good value out of your hotel stay.
I had a great stay. My visit was exactly as I expected. The hotel shuttle pick up from Love Field was a unique benefit.
The front desk and concierge was very polite and friendly. The entrance to the hotel is beautiful! The bed was very comfortable and the balcony was nice. The room was in need of a remodel. Paint and color on the walls were out of date. There were several spots that have been patched over. The bar staff wasn't very knowledgable in making drinks or friendly. She seemed preoccupied with one customer the hour I was there.
1. Shower head soaked the bathroom floor and carpet. I requested a repair but it did not happen. 2. Food was cold. I ordered soap but got chili. I was sink and too weak to complain. 3. Hotel has some many random people in and out. Not a professional environment.
The location was nice in that is was close to many other places downtown within walking distance. Although the immediate area didn't give us a fully safe feeling. The price we paid for the hotel was fair. The smell of the hallway was bad. It seems like they never cleaned or replaced the carpet ever. The location also looked a little shady as we were walking to the hotel.
Courtesy car will take you anywhere in 1 mile radius... BIG plus for us. Staff are super friendly!
The staff were super. Very helpful and everyone was smiling! I stay at the Fairmont when I am visiting customers for business. Our family trip took us through Dallas and the only hotel I thought of was the Fairmont. My family will definitely visit the Fairmont in the future again. All good! Bartender made great drinks, pool was awesome for my daughter and wife and location was superb for walking to dinner.
Great price ,location & service
The facilities have been updated but you can still tell it's a very old hotel. The a/c in our room wasn't great. Would stay there again!
Great service at the bar. Friendly bar staff. Great desk staff in the lobby.
We felt welcomed, respected and valued as if we were family. The hotel is all about making you feel important. It is immaculate, the service was perfect in every respect. The staff made us feel comfortable as though we were both important and yet like we were old friends. Absolutely nothing.
The room was very warm and got even warmer in the middle of the night. I complained to the front desk and they said they would send a technician, but the temp never changed by much.
The AC couldn't keep up to keep me comfortable.
Location was good. The hotel had a lot of amenities. The bar staff was not very good. Not friendly at all. Enjoyed the stay but it was not as nice as other Fairmonts where I've stayed.
Was willing to remove a faulty charge No hot water, TV didn't work, coffee machine in room did not work either, and a very loud AC
Super clean super friendly really nice place altogether. Only for those looking for a high end stay in Dallas Almost too nice, everything was fantastic but if you're the type that doesn't like being waited on hand and foot this might not be your place. Nothing is cheap that's for sure.
Liked the staff they were very friendly Gym and spa not up to par
room was great, staff was great live music in bar didn't match the vibe at all. I know its dallas but, its a 5 star hotel with a honky tonk band? and they were really bad.
Nice size room and very friendly staff
Over all hotel is nice, near the mall. Staff wasn't very friendly .
Beautiful looking building. Nice looking lobby, bar, and front desk. Good location for shopping. Rooms outdated. Have to pay for parking, internet, breakfast. Short on the number of towels that you get. Tub had mold around it.
I wasn't recognized as a gold member until day 3 of my stay. Subsequently was informed I could not receive Executive Lounge access because I did not book through the proper channels, but was told they'd let it "slide". Housekeeping cleaning rags were left in my room.
Ms Cleo was very helpful
I enjoyed the breakfast buffet and the lake outside
We loved our stay! We were iffy on staying there because of the ratings but it was great. Room was very clean. They do have a parking rate but since you are staying at the hotel the do waive it. It is very quiet and peaceful, our 6 month old slept through the night! Would definitely stay there next time we travel to Dallas! The bathroom tiles in the tub need to be fixed. Nothing major.
Appearsnce - location - very clean The Noise!!!!!! I did not sleep
Pros: friendly staff, good location, punctual valet, nice bar. Cons: dirty bathrooms with dirt in bathtub, used soap bar still in shower, carpet felt dirty, extremely outdated furniture (felt like I was in a cheap Vegas hotel), bug crawled on me during sleeping, no breakfast included, have to pay for Internet and parking.
The room itself was nice and we did get an upgrade to a suite. The room wasn't totally clean. Dried soda on counter in kitchenette when we arrived-maids didn't even clean it when I left a note! Dried silly string in pictures and ceiling. Broken furniture. Disappointing. None of the staff smiles or even seems to welcome you at all. Plus--had to pay $17/night for parking garage across the street.
Area of city. Hotel lobby space Small bathrooms, no courtesy shuttle, no weekend Happy Hour
The hotel is located across the parkway/tollway from the galleria and is also near a lot of restaurants. Our room was clean and the staff was helpful. Parking at the hotel essentially costs $17 per day ($17 overnight or $28 overnight for valet parking). Otherwise, there are hourly rates available.
beautiful ...great friendly staff-spectacularly clean
Bring your own towels if you wish to stay here. Poor room service
Suite with separate bedroom for less than the cost of a regular room at most hotels with the Kayak deal. Nice rooms, nice hotel, clean and well kept. Very satisfied overall. Beds were hard and uncomfortable. We had a room with double beds and they seemed smaller than average, to the point that rather than sharing with my husband, I wound up sharing with our youngest child because the double bed was not big enough to accomodate 2 adults comfortably. Mattress was hard. Had some problems with our restroom facilities: Toilet didn't work right, shower handle was on backwards. Otherwise, everything was wonderful and I would absolutely return for what we paid for this room. Very nicely accommodated my large family for much less than we would have paid elsewhere.
Nice rooms and pool, breakfast OK and service and staff very nice. Close to train station - free shuttle service in 5 miles radius No personality about the hotel
The hotel was beautiful, and the rooms were nice and clean. The young lady who checked us in was so pleasant. We were very impressed. We were vey disappointed that the swimming pool wasn't cleaned, especially with it being so hot!
I found the hotel to be as nice as the pictures and the staff to be friendly and helpful
Very classy place, super clean, not expensive at all for how nice and easy it was to stay here! The staff when checking in wasn't super helpful. When we came back later the staff was awesome. Get that young man off your team or teach him how to talk to guests and you'll be golden!
The entrance, my family and i like the lobby fibe a lot very specious The tub in our room was rusty and dirty and the carpet needs a little TLC. the room we stayed at by the window on top was crack.
I loved the apartment style look, the living room was separate from the bedroom. Very spacious. I loved alll the mirrors! There was no rush to check out. My view was a bit ugly but that was totally do able.
Very nice clean and spacious room. The bathroom was very nice however there was no extractor for the steam from the shower and lighting was very poor. Lightning was also limited in the bedroom of the suite, but good lighting in living area.
The beds are very comfortable and the view from the roof is amazing The bar upstairs was too expensive and didn't allow us to bring our own drinks to the pool. I wish there was some sort of breakfast provided. The little Keurig coffee machine in our room left grounds in the cup.
Big Rooms. Comfy Beds. Windows Open with Lots of Light. Easy Walk to Downtown. Free Shuttle to Dallas spots. Consistent Staff who knows your name. Restaurants and Bars were exactly what I needed after a long day.
The decor of the rooms and the style of converted warehouse to loft was very well executed. The rooftop bar also has a great view of downtown Dallas especially at night. The rooms were very clean and the bed was very comfortable. Onsite parking was also very easy considering proximity to downtown. As nice as the rooms were, we were given a 4th floor room that faced the main street through the Cedars district of Dallas; Lamar St. And that was what really put a damper on our stay. The noise of semi trucks and dump trucks going by with their loud exhaust was enough to wake you up many times during the night. There also were several potholes or bumps in the road that made the dump trucks rattle very loudly. This is not really the hotel's fault but it did sound like the trucks were coming through the room. I would think a brick building would be more sound proof. Perhaps its the old windows and some sort of acoustic film could reduce the noise a little. It is unfortunate because it really is a nice hotel, perhaps a room off the side street or rear of the hotel would be quieter. I really hope they can fix this because its a great location and well executed.
It was wonderful! I've never experienced such service, we will return!
The reception staff were friendly helpful nothing was too much trouble. The valet service was very efficient shame one has to pay extra for this when one is already paying to stay in the hotel. The rooms were excellent having just been refurbished to a high standard. The beds were soft and the linen crisp and clean. The shower facilities were excellent Would prefer proper cups in room instead of paper cups for my coffee. Also shower caps for the shower for ladies would be useful.
staff were helpful in all areas and room was wonderful. N/A
Location & rate were great for nba Allstar Weekend. Staff was friendly & helpful. Old world luxury...Common areas were inviting & spacious. Would have like a bar that stayed open later & served food longer.
Very comfortable and clean hotel. Staff was polite and very helpful. Parking for hotel could have been better. Granted we were there during a busy weekend, but had to hire taxis a couple of times to get to our destination on time, due to a 25-30 min wait for our car out of the hotel parking lot. Would recommend the hotel if you are not needing a car or haven't rented one.
location, service, and historic property in good condition base of shower needs repair
Our room was a one Queen bed. Room is small but very clean and nice. Bed is great. All staff are excellent. Bartender makes great "Mule" drinks and it is a good atmosphere. Breakfast comes with the room. You get hot scrambled eggs, ham, salsa, onions, mushrooms, breads, oatmeal, etc. Drinks for the evening reception: you get 2 drinks each, house wine which is not good, or domestic beer...hope you like Bud or Miller, not good for me. They have plenty of drinks but you pay for anything else. But the biggest problem is the food. We have eaten at Magnolia before and it was great. This time there is nothing good to say except for those who served us, excellent service. I sent my $29 rib eye back when it was well done instead of med. rare. Came back bloody pulp rare. I gave up. The spaghetti with veal meatball sounds great on paper and has no taste in reality. Given the other places around to eat, do not eat here as the kitchen has taken a dive.
Beds were very comfortable!!! no self parking, but using the texting valet service was quick and easy. Nothing gluten free available for breakfast except fruit. Gluten free dinner options were great and deliscious!
-free breakfast, location, free wifi, and beautiful building with an excellent view. Manager Gina (spelling?) was very sweet and helpful We checked in for New Year's Eve and specifically requested a room with a view of fireworks. The first room had no view, I had to pay for an upgraded room after going back downstairs. The room we got next was a disaster. Stains on the couches, dirty carpets, chair that was breaking, and fraying towels. The MOD came up to the room, looked at everything, apologized and moved us to yet another room. She was lovely and sent up a bottle of champagne but I would rather not have had to deal with switching rooms which led to us being very late for our dinner reservation. In short- rooms are not well maintained (last room had staples on the floor), only valet parking, SLOW elevators and front desk staff that don't seem to actually care.
Great location, fre bud light draft from 5:30-6:30, free hot breakfast buffet (impressive spread on the weekends). Cool retro boutique vibe. Weird smell in lobby, like cleaning agent masked with perfume. No dresser in our room to stash clothes, just a closet.
Location Breakfast was great The beds are a Queen size, at best, and so uncomfortable! Mattresses are in desperate need of updating. If a comfortable nights sleep is important to you, I would not recommend.
Came here for a birthday, everything was wonderful Water pressure in shower was a bit lacking.
Nice size room, location, complimentary bar & breakfast, & shuttle. Housekeeping was TERRIBLE. We stayed 3 nights & they only made the bed every day. They never cleaned the bathroom, 2 of the 3 nights they didn't even replace our towels. I had to track down housekeeping to ask for some. They didn't vacuum or empty the trash. There were only 2 elevators that worked.
Great location. Easy access. Nice large room. Included breakfast.
Professional and friendly service, excellent breakfast, good Wi-Fi connection, very nice decor, convenient location in the downtown . Our room had 2 queen beds with good mattresses. The stuff allowed us to check out one hour late and then let us sit in the lobby for an hour in the evening.
Friendly staff. Elevator took too long.
Good gym. Polite service. Clean. Lots of restaurants and bars around. Shuttle service provided. No late night services and extra amenities.
Good location, The over all conditions of The building is good And nice Housekeeping never Clean my room one day , The Manager in duty reduces USD 50 from The total Of my bill, but this discount does not compensate the inconvenience of this situation.
My 2 daughters and I stayed at the hotel on a very busy Dallas weekend. We were greeted with Sprinkles cupcakes at the reg. desk to celebrate a big football game being played that weekend. The beginning of a great weekend. \n\nThe club level floor was large and worked perfectly for an extra roll-away bed. The bathroom was huge. The club level lounge had superb snacks. We also ate at Fearings on the lobby level. Though difficult to get a reservation on the busy weekend, we camped out hoping for a cancellation and were lucky to nab a table. The food was tremendous -- the chef was previously at the Mansion across town. Expensive, but well worth the price.\n\nThe hotel is only 10 minutes from Northpark Mall, as well as other shopping areas.\n\nOur stay was great. We'll definitely return!\n\n
The Ritz staff is world class! The bellman rocks! Everything was perfect
Our stay at the Ritz Carlton in Dallas has been ruined. Everyday, when we go into the club level, we have been appalled by the lack of enforcement of the dress code and the noise level in the club room. For example, no shoes, half naked men and women in bathrobes, men, women, and children in pajamas and dirty socks with no shoes, and today was the icing on the cake which has ruined our stay and will result in our early departure. There are a group of loud, obnoxious, rude, and inconsiderate heathens in the club room watching a football game (3:30pm CST) we asked the attendant to address the noise issue and she instead walked over and told the group that she was sorry to disturb them, but that we had complained and pointed us out. That resulted in them bullying us out of the club level room. We have been staying at Ritz Carlton properties for twenty years and we have never experienced this level of unsatisfactory service. It is unbelievable and unacceptable. Now, instead of stayi...
We stayed on Concierge floor with the Club lounge which includes all the alcohol and light food throughout the day. It is worth the extra money to stay on this floor. We did a package that included a three course meal at Fearings which was the highlight of our evening along with having champagne and chocolate covered strawberries delivered to the room at just the perfect time which was while we were out at the pool. The pool isn't big but the staff at the pool is very attentive if you need anything.
I really enjoyed our stay at the Warwick. The rooms are very spacious and clean. We enjoyed eating, listening to music, and having cocktails at The Library Bar. We had breakfast at The Landmark and it was also excellent. Highly recommend! There is one thing I would have changed and that's the way the bed is made. A top sheet was used as a bottom sheet so it completely came off during the night since it was not secured. Other than that everything was wonderful!
I was very impressed with this hotel. The room was gorgeous and the staff was very helpful and friendly. I will definitely be staying here again the next time I'm in Dallas!
The room was spacious. The entire hotel has an old world charm. Nothing. P
The accommodations and dining were outstanding. The parking fee was excessive.
Location Room and bathroom were tiny. Bed was 5 feet from door. Bathroom was definitely a one at a time room.
room quite and comfy front dest staff could be more attentive and less "rigid"
Beautiful, well maintained hotel. Outstanding staff. My experience with the staff is that they are top-notch. Hotel was geographically well placed to meet my business needs. The limited but available on street overnight parking is a big plus as well. Hotel rooms were very clean, safe and comfortable. I'd recommend this hotel and I plan on staying there frequently. Half of the hotel faces noisy streets and a nearby fire department can make it difficult to get a good nights sleep. But there are rooms on the quiet side of the hotel too - and much more comfortable and enjoyable stay.
Staff was very friendly. No water and it was treated like no big deal. They comp a bottle of water for me. Oh boy!
High quality furnishings and friendly staff. Was required to use the valet parking and stll had to pay for it. For the cost of the room, parking should be included. The additional parking costs plus valet tips in and out were an unnecessary extra cost.
Excellent service. Star treatment. Rooms are very quiet & beautifully appointed w/nice amenities. Amazing beds. Room service! Great atmosphere & location. Didn't like mandatory valet for car (vs. a parking fee or even better, complementary parking). Billed an additional $27 + fees for $31 per night!
The atmosphere was perfect for celebrating 25 years of marriage.
I left a laptop charger plugged in and called the next morning but the hotel was unable to locate it.
Staff was nice. The room was clean. Beautiful view. Room service was very quick! The valet opened the door for me (driver), did not do anything for my wife (passenger). The rooms seemed to have thin walls, as we heard guest all through the night. There may have been a fraternity group reunion of some sort, and we may have been unfortunately stuck on the same floor as some of them. It hurt our stay to say the least.
We really enjoyed our stay here and the hotel was amazing, as well as the rooms. Definitely reccommend this hotel and will stay here on our next visit to Dallas.
Helpful staff, quality Restaurant a bit on steep side, but staffed by helpful, attentive, professional people
It has a a good location with a good view of dallas The beds were not comfortable and the TV picture was horrible
Very friendly staff. Very comfortable bed. I was very satisfied with my stay and would stay there again. Only negative thing was we ordered late night room service and it wasn't the best. We got the Philly steak sandwich.
I like how the building looking and most of the inside. This hotel I would say is for the riches. The self parking wasn't free. I'm not going to pay someone to park my vehicle since I'm going to be staying there for one night. Inside the bathroom above the shower it the A/C unit. It appeared that it needed some updating because it looked like a 1 or 2 stars project.
The staff was brilliant. They really took care of us. When they found out it was my wife's birthday, they brought us a complimentary bottle of wine, amongst other things.
The staff was excellent....
Mall had American Girl, restaurants, ice skating and more. My kids are asking if we can stay here again. Construction in the parking lot
We liked the room, it was very clean, and had everything we needed for a one night stay. We really enjoyed the location, being so close to the shopping and dining the mall offered. The employees were helpful and customer service was great, just what you'd expect at a Westin.
Easy access right into mall food area. Fitness room was small but adequate. Fitness room was clean and included chilled towels. The single king room was small. Gave away the double bed room we had reserved weeks in advance. If I book a double room, that means I want/need a double room. Lobby extreme crowded. Took a long time to check in. Various cupcakes were sitting out in the lobby with blurry decorative icing that made them look like they had been sitting out a long time. They were presented so poorly that it seemed different sources had dropped off old goods that hadn't sold the day before. A room on the west side meant choosing between the hot western sun directly in the window all afternoon/evening or no natural light. Lots of Tollway traffic noise to wake me outside my window on a Sunday morning. Overall, overpriced for the accommodations and services it provides. Do not recommend.
Overall, I liked this hotel. I experienced multiple confusions with the front desk staff and my reservations, but it didn't cause too much of a problem. The rooms are nice, but you can just tell the hotel is old. The connection to the mall was incredibly convenient. That was my favorite part. I would stay here again.
The location is great. It's a beautiful hotel with well appointed rooms and great customer service. The have a free shuttle. It's steps from the Galleria which is full of great shopping and restaurants. It has two restaurants - an upscale seafood restaurant and a mid-range bistro on the second floor. They do their room service menu through the 2nd floor restaurant so there is a better in room dining menu than the standard hotel fare. You can also take your drinks up to your room if you order from the 2nd floor restaurant. The parking is a pain (as many others have mentioned) but if you don't mind a bit of walking then there is plenty of free parking in the parking garage and we never felt unsafe even when come back late from a dinner. The pool was a bit underwhelming with no cabanas or umbrellas for shade and no attempt to make it look like a retreat (I.e. Greenery or decor - just a walled concrete box). This was such a surprise as we've stayed at other Westin properties that had lovely pools.
Connected to galleria mall, big room
Very good experience You need more people at front and do not charge for Wi-Fi
-Oceanaire restaurant adjoins the lobby. -Fitness center clean and modern -Great comfort in the rooms -friendly and accommodating hotel staff
size and quality of room
Surprisingly affordable for such a beautiful place From the grand lobby to the beautiful room this place was perfect. The employees couldn't have been kinder and more accommodating As beautiful as room was next stay I would like windows facing outside as opposed to the lobby Would've been nice to see a sun rise or set The window shades needed to be closed for privacy it was easy for guests to see in from walkway
The rooms were beautiful, very chic. The staff was awesome! It was very luxurious and the bed was very confortable! Guests have to pay for parking daily, and it was pretty expensive.
I loved that I was offered a free upgrade A staff member by the name of AL was highly rude when I called the from desk and said the ice machine on the second Floor was broken. He paused and said, "what do you want me to do about it." OH MY GOSH!!! He asked me twice with a tone in his voice. So had to either go to the restaurant and get a bucket of ice or call room service. It took over 30 min after I arrived to receive a luggage cart. I arrived and let the cart worker know. He then gave my cart to 2 other people Who arrived after me!!!!! I was very disappointed. I've stayed at this location before. But this is the first time I've ever had a bad experience.
One of the best! The staff was very helpful. The restaurant/bar was great. Absolutely no negatives during my stay. When in Dallas, I'll stay there again.
Nice rooms Small pool
I want to start out with the presentation of the hotel. Very modern and chic. I loved it. We got to the hotel before check in and we were exhausted from a 8 hour trip. The lady let us check in earlier and I wish I would have gotten her name because she made our first solo hotel reservation experience a joy. The rooms were spacious and had individuality that some hotels don't have. I will go back for sure! I didn't like that we had to pay for parking. I also didn't like that they charged a $75 fee just in case we did something to the room. There was a staff member who didn't really seem welcoming but I won't hold it against the hotel or the staff member himself since everyone has an off day
Room was very clean and comfortable. The staff was super nice and accomodating! Prices for parking, breakfast and bar were much too expensive in my opinion. Room had a mini frige that we could store our water and soda's that we brought. A microwave would have been a great addition to the room since we had left overs from some of the wonderful Dallas restaurants we visited. I would definately recommend to others but with a disclaimer that most ammenities come with $$$.
Staff was very friendly and helpful. Had a couple of issues with timeliness. Ordered room service one morning, just 1 latte and 1 cappuccino, and it took over 1.5 hours to show up. We were told it would take 25 minutes. We took a shuttle to dinner and that was fine. However, on the return trip, we were told a car would be there to get us in 15 minutes. It took just over an hour. I can understand delays (especially driving on a Saturday night), but the complete lack of a good estimate on time and/or the lack of updates is what caused it to be an issue. The fact that we had to repeatedly call to get updates and were repeatedly given grossly inaccurate updates was the problem.
It was only a 1 night stay. Room was large enough for 3 folks Location is hard to get to Photos on website made this hotel looks fantastic but when you get there is just an average hotel.
Overall good stay Parking fee extra
Amazing staff, gorgeous decor, and just an amazing experience N/a
Great deal, amazing room. Location is good. Very clean and chic. Did not like the $20 a night to park and definitely didn't like the over priced breakfast. Went back for seconds and got charged another $18 for a bowl of fruit, eggs and potatoes. Also, the bar was a bit steep as well. So NOT cool
The room was very nice aside from the toilet seat, which was broken. Lots of down bed pillows, which I love. Awesome huge tub. Live music in the lobby each night. Parking & check in was very confusing.
Bed was nice Rooms were not that clean
Staff was superb Strictly a business hotel There isn't anything (eatery/ships) close $12 for a Coffee and Baileys! Pillows were paper flat
Cleanliness and relative ease of traveling around Dallas. Seminar in progress. I would have liked to know this before booking..it made it a bit noisy.
It was clean with a nice staff and was a good price for being a "4" star hotel. At least a 20 minute drive in any direction from anything fun to do. Lacks basic accommodations like free wifi, a fridge to store leftover food from dinner or drinks, or free breakfast. Really only for people to say to their friends they're staying at the Omni.
Bed was comfortable. Wish for the price there would at least be some free amenities. The AC in our room did not cool very well at all, even with my husband turning down to 60 and cleaning the filter. Also when I would get in shower it had a sour smell to it.
Overall our stay was pleasant. Staff is quite courteous. WiFi connection is poor and tech support was insufficient. This was the one significant drawback to our stay. If you're in need of WiFi access for business, I wouldn't count on it here! While I was able to connect eventually, the connection was weak and caused a moderate snag!
Clean and quiet rooms with extremely comfortable bed. We ordered room service for dinner and it was mediocre at best. It was 10pm when we ordered so it's possible that closer to dinner time it would be better.
Room was clean, shower was good, bed was comfortable. $47 for Chicken with Potatoes, some lettuce in a salad, a slice of cheeescake, and a bottle of water "to go". And that was the least expensive. Lack of convenient electrical outlets in the room to plug in a laptop. No free wifi in the room. $174 on a Tuesday night.
kayak has a very cryptic cancellation policy. As a result I was unable to cancel the room even though I was compliant with what they verbally told me. I can't speak to the hotel but I can tell you I won't book a hotel again with kayak Everything
Got an amazing deal and the hotel, rooms and amenities are amazing! There is nothing within walking distance of the hotel, not even close. So you really have to eat there. If you have a car this is a great place to stay.
Amazing hotel with great room. Staff was fantastic and location was an easy drive to any north Dallas location.
The hotel it's very nice, elegant, clean close to Ritz Carlton or super high end hotels for 1/2 of the money. Staff it's nice but maybe that's the difference with hotels that charge 500 USD per night.
My girlfriend and I stayed here for one night while I was in town visiting her and we had an amazing time. She lives in Dallas but we took a night in a hotel just for a nice change of scenery and had an experience we will remember forever. The room was spectacular but I have to mention the service first. Our friend at the front desk, Angelina Fiorini, was incredibly pleasant to talk to and helpful. one of the best hotel front desk staff I've talked with in a long time. Even though my girlfriend and I were there for a private night away we were still desighted to have a long conversation with her. After our chat we went up to the room. Angelina gave us a junior suite which was well decorated and filled with quality furniture, a comfy bed and a great bathroom. We decided if we ever live in a house it should feel like this place. Glad we got to stay at the stoneleigh and will definitely come back when we need a comfortable spot in Dallas. There was no fitted sheet on the bed.
Clean rooms, friendly staff, and very spacious walk-in closets. The handle that controlled the water was not working so you would eaither take a cold shower or a burning hot shower.
Nice, comfortable rooms. Spacious. Nice decor, great breakfast place and bar in the hotel. Very nice, helpful staff. Great location.
Great location in uptown. A nice, modern look. Mandatory $25 valet was unexpected
The staff was phenomenal and the amenities were amazing! This is definitely a splurge but worth it if you can afford it. It was our anniversary and they let us check in early to enjoy the pool and really pampered us the whole weekend. We loved it!
Staff knowledgeable of the area. only 2 elevators
The location is fantastic. Nobu is inside the hotel, Trulucks just next to the hotel, and Shake Shack in front! So many great restaurants and bars within walking distance. My friends and I scheduled spa treatments. The "spa" is more like a locker room in a basement, complete with outdoor furniture and a tv on the wall with a program going. No soothing music or lounge type chairs. It was not relaxing at all. My friends liked their facials, but I didn't love my massage. For $150 after tax and tip, I expect a lot more. This was probably the worst spa experience for the price that I've ever had.
The staff was very friendly and rooms were comfortable. The toiletries supplied were top notch. For the price of the hotel there wasn't anything "above and beyond". There wasn't coffee in the rooms which was disappointing. We stayed at the hotel zaza last visit and would probably return there. They had small macaroons sitting out with lemon water in the lobby. Also when we checked in there we were greeted with a glass of champagne. They also offered a weekend getaway package for the same we paid at Rosewood and we received a bottle of champagne in our rooms and gourmet breakfast at their restaurant. The spa was very outdated, my massage was fantastic. But could hear the parking garage above a few times. The rest of the spa was clean just very much in need of updates. Something to consider.
AMAZING STAY AMAZING STAFF GORGEOUS PROPERTY
Lobby & flowers are gorg. Room very comfortable. Wish there was coffee pot in room or at least coffee avail in lobby. Was told coffee service ends when starbucks bext door opens!
Spa and gym were excellent Room was excellent Service was excellent I had booked the room through Kyak but the hotel double charged my credit card and I had to call back to get it credited
was impressed with service and location... I didnt like was when we arrived at 5:30 and our rooms werent ready until 6! I paid good miney for this hotel and should not have to wait....on the confirmation it says hotel check in at 3! not 6!!!...what can kayak or crescent do for me? i would love to stay again but that put a big "?" to stay again....
