The Location of the hotel / proximity to the night clubs on the right ie cocoon, dejavu and 66 and restaurants on the left ie zanzibar and a few others. The pool... a bit dissappointing and the Room Service...always running late.
The decor and location of accommodation near to a great beach
It felt safe, and was clean and relatively new. The clean marble look is great, but can be slippery in the room and poolside. Also, the shower floor was not level, so the shower water pooled in the middle of the bathroom instead of going down the plughole. This made the slippery situation even more dangerous (especially with children).
O-CE-N has a good position, the hotel is very new and the staff is professional. The beach is only 10 meter from the hotel and in the zone there are many facilities for surfer, many clubs and resturant We needed to manage the price for the hotel taxi because they asked 4 times comparing how much we paid for the normal taxi... arriving to a price that was double.
Big, spacious rooms, great restaurant and bar, great beach outlook. Perfect location for access to shopping areas, spas, pubs, restaurants. Beach across the road is perfect. The whole pool arrangement is not good. Too small, too many steps, very dangerous for kids. The width of the pool near the bridge encourages kids to jump in. I bet a lot of injuries are sustained around the pool. I would also like to see more thought go into shielding the third and fourth floor balconies from other guests. It feels like everyone is watching you. I know we stayed in peak season, but on balance, I also think the accommodation is expensive.
Nice, clean and big rooms. Good food & excellent staff. They invoice in IDR, so when you've made your booking in US$, you probably gonna pay some extra dollars because of change rates.
Spacious Rooms and nice multiple balconies. We booked through Hotels.com with no guarantee of our requests for 4th floor and/or ocean view. When checking in we asked for an ocean view. Reception said none available but a pool view was. When we looked at the room there was no pool view, so we were disappointed but after settling in & opening blinds, we did in fact have an Ocean view from our bedroom and the 3rd balcony overlooked a lovely tree filled yard (with bird & squirrels) - Great views, just a shame that reception did not know this and tell us at check in. There is a kitchen but very little kitchenware - ie. glasses.
Location is very good, cutomer service and staff is nice, rooms are spacious and comfortable. Gardens are lovely. It's hard to move around with stroller as there're stairs everywhere. Not enough funs/ A/C at breakfast area. Depending on the room you get, could be a little noisy.
Very clean, polite and friendly staff, very central to restaurants. Lack of anything Indonesian ie tropical gardens, Indonesian music etc
The pool looks beautiful but is too deep with no shallow sections so hard to just relax in unless you use the kiddies pool.
The hotel was clean and comfortable for the most part. The room had the AC going and was nice and cool when we first stepped in. Security for the hotel were friendly and nice. We were only given one keycard so if one of us wanted to leave it was near impossible for the second one to stay. The towel rack in the bathroom broke down the first 30 minutes of getting into the room. When I called the front desk to confirm I wasn't going to be charged for the damage that had nothing to do with me, they refused to admit it wasn't my doing and simply stated they would send someone do to check it out. It took 2 days and me calling and going to the front desk 3 desperate times to finally get someone to come down to take a look at eh damage. WHAT A WASTE OF MY TIME. Basically, the front desk was completely unhelpful. Also located in a really touristy area. You can't step two seconds outside without having some chase after you to buy their Products/ use their cab service. So annoying.
The location was good. There was a Starbucks downstairs. The pool was nice. First the staff couldn't find my reservation and made me wait and hour in the lobby. then the wifi didn't work the whole trip. The walls were paper thin. The room showed significant wear and tear. The drinks were expensive and watered down. If I could do it again i'd pay a few extra bucks to go somewhere nicer. This hotel is just for australian children looking to party.
the garden was nice. the room was simple, suitable for sleeping only, and the shower room smells so bad.
the room was realy nice, the stuff was good. Roomservise is ok but not exellente the breakfast was poor
No shuttle bus pick me up at airport.A bit far to Kuta beach
too far away from everywhere
The hotel has nice rooms, garden and swimmming pool It is 30 minutes far away from the nearest beach in a quite ugly and empty neigourhood. Part of the stuff was not useful at all. Shuttel bus just to pick up at the airport and at least 5 persons.
The staff were very nice to our two children ages 18months and 3 and were very quick to help out with them. This hotel is very quite and its easy to relax and unwind. The hotel could maybe buy some new dining furniture as it is dated, also the rooms have no tea and coffee facilities for its guests and is turned off in the dining room at 8pm.The owners of the hotel should buy some new kitchen equipment for their staff as they do a great job with poor equipment.
The best part about staying in Villa Dina Bali was the location as it was in a peaceful area which gave us a very relaxing holiday. The only thing that was mising was not been able to make a cup of tea or coffee in the room,
Quiet and calm atmosphere, staff always available to answer requests from clients. Ideal place for vacations.
Just 10 min walk to the beach and just out of the centre.
the landscapes breakfast menu. Cannot find any protein eg egg, ham at all! all the food are carbo (bread, pancake, fried noodles, fried rice, white rice) please improve on it.
Great people we met.Quality service & good value for money. No
Friendly and helpful staff. Hotel room clean and comfortable. Like the Rama Garden as the room and surrounds are typically Balinese. No Everything was good. The only problem was the water pressure in the bathroom shower was poor at certain times of the day and it was hard to regulate the hot and cold flow.
Nice quiet and relaxing place
Day staff were very helpful, the rooms are compact but offer allot for the price, and the cleanliness was very good. Night/early morning staff were unable to sort out bills etc for early morning departures (had to catch a International flight), and breakfast was not available before 8am, which could impact if people were doing day trips etc
Was ideally located for what we wanted. The facilities such as pool rooms and staff were very good Although in a busy and noisy area we did not here any of this as rooms and pool area very quiet. We would visit again.
Nothing, except for two of our room attendants The rooms are aging and in need of renovation. This is underway for four rooms that happened to be next to our room with consequent noise and continuous dust. Breakfast was meager and often stale and the replenishment of coffee, bread etc unbelievably bad. It took four replacements before a DVD player could be found that worked. The safety chain did not fit the slider and had obviously been fitted and never checked.
Coffee and tea at breakfastdin't taste very well
The welcoming friendly staff who made my stay so enjoyable. Convenience to local shops in Legian and the other guests who also made my holiday an enjoyable experience.
The room was realy good, daily cleaning was done properly. Location is perfect. Breakfast was okay, certainly not a lot of variety to choose from but quality was quite okay. Service was fine. Staff was unfriendly, it was just like they did not like guests at all...
Live band Non-smiley receptionist
overall not in the same league as other comparable properties meals
Very friendly staff. We ordered a transfer pickup from airport to hotel but it did not showup. Sincere apologies from hotel management were accepted and without asking ourselves, hotel management arranged a transfer to the airport on our departure at their own expense. Costs for SPA treatments are significantly higher compared to some Spa Salons -not related to hotels- in the near area of the hotel, which have similar facilities.
Used the spa, swam in the pool, went shopping in Leigan, gained transport from outside of hotel at great rates, easy access to resturants The prices of the food, alcohol, spa and other services were expensive to start with and then a 21% tax and service fee was charged, this just encourages people to go elsewhere for these services.
Lovely lobby, beautiful gardens, nice main pool, gorgeous infinity pool and bar area. Good food and noy ridiculously expensive. Excellent location and modern clean rooms. Beds were huge and soo comfortable. The bathrrom looked unfinished as the walls near the toilet are painted yellow while the rest of the bathroom was tiled. It cheapened the bathroom. Also the shower head is too big and powerful for the small space and water went everywhere whenever we used it.
The Padma has great facilities, very clean and grounds beautiful & well maintain. The buffet breakfast included in our price was great and value for money. Great for couples, groups & families. When asking for information or questions the staff knew very little or didn't know at all. It was hard to get an answer to something which was alittle worrying as I was pregnant. Hardly any chairs free by the pool, It was also very annoying that people would leave their towels on chairs and leave for a couple of hours, just so they can keep their spot by the pool. Although there is a sign saying you can't leave your belongings for longer than an hour! It takes quite a few emails for someone at the Padma to get in touch with you, espically if you are trying to organise transport pick up from airport. Make sure you give plenty of notice if you want to be picked up!
The resort was beautiful. The breakfasts incredibly diverse. Location was great. Hardly noticed the building works that were going on.
The hotel is clean, luxurious with beautiful gardens and excellent facilities. Children are treated wonderfully by staff at all times.
Acces direct to the nice Beach of Kuta. When booking we were advised we will have access to the "Garden Lounge", but finally the General Direction refused us this access regarding our E-mail Booking!! In July difficult to find a sun bed near the swimming pool. The hotel is overcrowded. A huge part of the hotel is on rehabilitation works: This generate heavy noise which is disturbing for a real relaxing. Restaurant not available. the SPA has provisory moved in a simple room. A lot a services not open due to rehabilitation works. but the price is the full services price.
The location is perfect: true beach front and 15mins walk from the kuta vibrant centre. so clean, nice gardens, walkways, good pool/bar. the food is perfect and the breakfast can cover lunch and dinner;) we have been upgraded for free as well!!
nice rooms, beautiful terretory, location noise isolation of the rooms is poor but it wasn't a problem for us
The buffet and other menus were excellent. The location was good - close to the beach and Legian restaurants and shops. Staff were friendly. We paid for a room with access to the private club, which was not good value for money. Room was not ready when we checked in. Children under 13 not allowed into the club during happy hour. Pool was large but surrounded by a sea of mostly reserved deckchairs.
Hotel was very nice, modern and staff were very friendly and attentive. Rooms were modern and clean and had good facilities.Good breakfast included also, and pool areas and proximity to beach amazing. Wifi in room was periodic and only had limited signal. Room could be very noisy in morning with cleaning staff and younger guests outside of room. Otherwise very satisfactory.
The grounds, the buffet breakfast and the very attentive staff I thought the food and drinks were slightly over priced
