I like the architecture, location and friendly staff o the this place. Combine them with the great price and you will surely be satisfied. I wish they had a controllable Air conditioning system, it was a bit hotish. Also, the pillows weren't comfortable at all. I've stayed at 4 stars hotels in dubai that had far better pillows.
Excellent staff (concierge can answer almost any reasonable questions about Dubai), very comfortable room with all facilities that I wanted, good (though expensive) food. Breakfast was excellent in quality and service, but price was too high. Hotel location is good, but due to multi-lane roads immediately north and west of the hotel, it was difficult to walk to nearby places like Dubai Mall (The hotel has shuttle service to Dubai Mall about four times a day.).
Price for value given nothing
Room, location, hotel, staff, I travel a lot, but In short I loved everything about the hotel. Thank you very much for an amazing stay. I didnt like that i didnt stay in this hotel on my previous visits to Dubai
Big room Bad smell in the room
staff car parking
The staff and services were excellent. Room was quiet and comfortable. Room decor is dated. Furnishings and walls are banged up.
Great room and service.
Just the location, that's about it. I stayed in the apartments tower, even though my booking had been for a room in the hotel ("suite"). By far the worst stay I've had in Dubai, and I've been there many times. There is no chance this hotel is rated 5 stars, it's fraudulent or old and needs to be updated. The hotel lacks energy, lacks a buzz, the bar is packed with hookers, TVs don't have the right channels (Aljazeera/Bein football ones to show crucial Champions League games), the restaurants are on the 24th floor and look like a 3-star hotel's restaurants at best. Their seating and tables are old, and doesn't look luxurious at all. Let's put it this way - I'd be embarrassed to take a colleague there for a business lunch. The hotel itself is dark from the inside, despite a ton of sunlight and unblocked view on all sides. Inside the rooms, the carpet was smelly (probably old) and the bed/cupboards were old with scratches and all. There was barely an office desk to do any work on, and the kitchen was too big for the place. Overall, this hotel is equivalent to a nice 3 star in the US / Europe. I didn't mind the policy to allow gents to take "guests" (girls) upstairs because that's the only consolation one deserves to get for staying at this crapchute.
The hotel location, the architecture is nice. The rooms were very spacious, and we got a free upgrade to a one bedroom suite, which was very nice of the staff to do. The gym and the pool seemed a bit odd, as a layout. The bathroom fixtures seemed a little outdated, but worked fine.
Being offered suitable accommodation at an excellent price in a City where winter prices are substantially increased during the tourist season. The rooms were generous and very comfortable. We had a seaward facing room and as such were subject to the background noise of the Metro. In the future I would request a rear or side room instead.
near exhibition center, close to downtown, near train station. old furniture, specially sofas, windows can not be opened, result in smiley smoking floor.
- Taxi is always available at hotel gateway - Breakfast is outstanding - Hotel is brand new and looks amazing inside/outside - No breakfast charge for my son whos sharing the bed - Bathroom's Massage Shower is fantastic - Kids TV channels (Cartoon Network/Disney Channel) are great - Hotel is not responding to any emails - Not 10 minutes to the airport, its near 30 minutes - Most of the rooms have a bad view on a construction areas - No sport channels like ART/Jazeera+ - Not close to any shopping mall, nearest one will cost $10 - No hotel's private bus shelters compare with other 5* hotels - Bathroom is too small
The hotel was across the road from the Dubai Mall. The reception staff were very helpful with our very early arrival and found us a room as no non-smoking rooms were available as requested.
Location is not bad especially in winter since it is close to dubai mall. They have free shuttle from/to airport. Large rooms. No covered route to dubai mall.
All was great
The hotel is in a great location, just on a short walking distance of the Dubai Mall and the Burj Khalifa. It was the ideal location to be. The breakfast is amazing. The staff is extremely professional and helpful (Trimlesh, and others). No free wi-fi in rooms.
The atmosphere was absolutely great! The staff was as good as the ritz carlton's staff. this hotel was the best we have ever stayed and we will purposely stay here again!
Worming and relaxing atmosphere It needs to have all sports channels available ART sport or example
The location is amazing; we had a wonderful view to the Burj Khalifa from our balcony, 10 min. walking to Dubai Mall. The room was amazing, very comfortable. Enough parking place for the cars. Very friendly stuff.
the hotel at the centere of dubai and too close to dubai mall & jumirah beach the long long time during chick in & chick out
thank you for your hospitality and i ll try to vist you again
the staff were very attentive position of the hotel and the facilities a lot of building work going on the area
nice spacy studios, the view, closeness to dubai mall and fountain area phone system doesn't have quick buttons for house keeping, room service...etc no instructions for room to room calls or outside calls.. it was stated that rooms have wi fi but it didn't work and the employer couldn't instruct me efficiently to solve this problem... website didn't have booking option had to book from another hotel booking site
The fact that it is connected to the Dubai Mall is a great Plus.. The hotel is very new hence the staff managing the hotel had little exerience on how to deal with guests, and many of them didn't speak neither English nor the local language (Arabic) fluently. The furniture was custome made and was low on finishing quality. The connecting corridor between the hotel and the mall wasn't finished, and we had to walk through the hot/humid indoor parking to get to the mall while the decoration workers were finishing the corridor. The hotel had no taxis waiting at the entrance like other respectable hotels, we had to wait 25 minutes to get a taxi. Taxi drivers didn't know about it, and got confused when asked to drop us at the hotel. The room didn't have a floor plan with emergency exit hung on door
closed to dubai mall AC was not cooling, afte reparing was ok in the first day but next day same proplem cames again.
Smell of the rooms and coridors good swiming pool nice birthday and hony moon decoration arrangements free The towels was not soft at all , in very bad touch to the skin very expensive according to the room size and furniture quality ad access to the mall ,, elevators very slow , very dramatice bad view over looking the metal roof of the dubai mall , small lobby bad lighting for the room , spot light in top of the bed , yes you can turn them off , but still they look bad not luxury feels like 4 star level of dubai driling and maintinace was more than what they told us in the letter paper from the manager
The Arab and Idian hotel staff were perfect and helpfull in eveyway that can they made me feel spicail :) The Chines hotel staff were very bad they made it difficult for us in everything .They cant say anyword in the right way and you have the work it out by yourself what do they mean.:(
The towels wasn't so clean
Direct access to Dubai Mall
Very new. In Dubai Mall which makes shopping very comfortable. Very friendly staff.
the location quiet
I have been upgraded to the best with no requsetion and all my Correspondents been handled perfectly non
Its was great
Every thing Nothing
Quiet comfortable when you needed it. Great lounge. Great service very good food with a nice variety. Pool not very fancy and pool bar very small. Too be fair I only went in morning. I was told it gets busy at night(bar).
Great facilities for business and events Housekeeping staff are slow
Very friendly and professional staff. Well appointed rooms.
We really had a great time excellent service,
Loved the perks with complimentary access to Wild Wadi Waterpark and Zero Gravity beach club.
Apart from our room supposedly not being ready at 7:30 pm on the day of arrival, the stay was good.
Please write at least 15 words
the service and the staff were supper good nothing
One of the best hotels world wide. Great location, fantastic service, and amazing views of the city from every window. Highly recommended.
Very helpfull and smily faces.Better than home!!
The bullivard and everything
The staff was excellent wich is key to great lodging experiences. When we coupled that with the beauty and quality of the facilities, we were just blown away. I have been in the gaming, hospitality, and entertainment business for 31 years, and this is by far my best experience. There were no issues at all.
The staff, the service, the quality was all excellent!! It was more than expected. The pool and gym was also amazing services. I would definitely stay there again and if our children are with us we would have utilized the complimentary wadi water park and private beach tickets. The food packages in the hotel were a little too expensive, but there were too many other food options around town to worry about the hotel restaurants.
My wife and I are in our late 20s/early 30s and stayed at the JET in Dubai for two nights en route to Thailand for our honeymoon. Dubai is an expensive city, so the cost for a night or two in the JET is on par for other hotels in the area. It's located close to the mall and the metro/train, and it is the epitome of luxury, comfort, and relaxation. I've stayed at the hotel for numerous business trips and insisted we stay there for our quick stop - my wife has had nothing but overwhelmingly positive reviews since we've left. The views, the staff, the room, the breakfast (which isn't included in the price of the room, unfortunately, but is worth it if you feel like splurging), the pool, and the amenities make this a perfect place to stay. As noted above, it would be nice if the hotel included breakfast with the room, but otherwise there is nothing I can say that I didn't enjoy.
The staff was amazing and over all the stay was great
very equit place. i did not like the hotel services.
Beautifully appointed room in the executive wing. Access to the Executive lounge and business center was a nice perk. The gym has good equipment. The mall is a few steps away and has bars, restaurants, grocery, pharmacy, coffee shops. There is construction in the neighbourhood that started up at 6:30am. When that is finished the place will be perfect.
it was a very nice 5 star hotel, which was absolutely worth any penny paid! nice environment, just behind Burj Dubai, nice and quiet, brand new hotel, nice interior design, good location, nice staff and lots of facilities in and out of hotel. no coffee maker in the room, but learned later you could get one on request! so next time better!
The warm welcome from the hotel staff and also the old charming atmosphere No
the very nice and romantic atmospere of this arab style and comfortable hotel room cleaning staff was not discrete enough
I was there on my anniversary, the best that amazed me was the extent they went to make my experience wonderful. they suprized me with flowers in the room and a nice cake, also a nice suprise after my spa with a nice private table for me and my wife. this Hotel is a 6 star the 6th star for going beyond the normal hospitality
every thing was very good. we got our room after 2 houres of our arrivel that was bad , there was 1 car from the hotel at the airport when i asked for 2 and i was willing to pay extra and i had reservation of 2 suites .
Because I really like their services and it is very flexible Nothing
1- The relaxtion environment that hotel is providing. 2- The place of the hotel, which it's near to Al Bahar Shopping Mall and it's near from many touries distenations.
Perfect location. I was there for exhibition, to the exhibition area was possible to walk or take metro whcih was before hotel. -
close to metro House keeping was late cleaning the room even after you left early and came late, the room was not cleaned. Had to call housekeeping to get it cleaned.
Big rooms, friendly staff Small lobby
The comfort and well appointed rooms. The rainfall showers is most wonderful and one of the highlights of the hotel. The bed is comfy and rooms are very clean.
It definitely needs to be reface, remodel
Our stay at the Majestic was perfect it was our first visit to Dubai and would definetly stay again at the Majestic. It was easy access to the shopping mall, the Old Dubai and not far from the Airport. Top marks
Room (1712) was very clean and comfortable, with a fantastic view. Buffet breakfast was excellent. Location of hotel was great. The bath towels were small and worn.
Great view of the city, close to train station, great employees , great atmosphere
the enviroment of the room
Room was fab. Very clean and good location to Dubai mall and airport Hotel transfer was v expensive. Hotel staff tell you excessive price for taxi trip and then get you a driver. You don't realise you're being ripped off until you get into a metered cab. Insist on a metered trip every time and just get s cab from airport.
This was my first time in Dubai so I wasn't aware of how big it was. I chose this hotel cause it was in my price range and it still had a nice long pool. Once I got there the pool did not disappoint! It was very nice with shade and sun, full service and quiet! The staff here we're very friendly and helpful. The was great, much better than other hotel breakfasts. The room was large and so was the bathroom. I didn't try the restaurants at the hotel but they were always busy so I'm assuming they were good! The subway was right down the street. Overall this was a great place to stay and I would highly recommend staying here! The bed was a little hard and the room had a funny smell. I had mentioned to the staff that it was a little warm in my room and I attempted to turn down the AC but that didn't work. I think the building is climate controlled and it was a little warm for me. Also I didn't appreciate that they charged me to print out two pages worth of vouchers for a tour. If you are familiar with Dubai and you know the Bur Dubai area then this is a great hotel. If you are not familiar with the city then realize that this is in the old part of town. The new/modern part of the city is about an hour away with traffic. Although it is close to the subway it is still very inconvenient to get to the more tourist areas.
Fantastic view from our balcony of the Dubai Skyline & Burj Khalifa. Wonderful! Room was very clean & spacious. Hotel provides free transfers in the morning to some of the highlights on a weekly schedule. Very efficient. Trying to get into one of the 2 elevators is really only a problem in the morning around check out time. Other than that we never had to wait long in the week that we stayed here.
Very good room. Everything was perfect.
Hotel has many facielities how to spend time there, swimingpool, rock pub, few restaurants, you will not be bored there... somethimes longer waiting time for lift, but it was not so "terribille"
staff very friendly and servicable not children friendly ie. not much for children to do ie. activities and also TV did not have any children's channels
very nice romantic loby soicialy at night restorant and very quit the smell of the room fulled of tabbaco
this is a new-build hotel built in early 2015. The materials for the room are excellent with special floor tiles good quality carpet frameless glass shower doors and Granite bathroom countertops. Some interesting features are there it has electronic light switches which basically control the lighting through a scene which is very interesting and cool. The view of the creek is amazing. I used the pool which was great as well as a poolside bar where you can drink smoothies while sitting in the pool. The gym was excellent. valet parking is free if you are a guest which was very convenient.
Perfect Hotel for long and short stay transfer at Dubai Airport
Staff really helpful.Room comfortable. None
You have to stay in the terminal to get there, I had to leave to get my luggage and was not allowed back in to stay at the hotel.
Massage chair The room was not properly clean, there were lots of dust
A great place to refresh and sleep during a 8 hour layover at Dubai Airport.
I thought the room layout was very nice and was very impressed with the bathroom facilities.
Great location if you are catching a connecting flight the next day! Very Clean, Staff were helpful and polite. Would definately stay again and recommend to friends
the beds was amazing very comfortable the staff was helpful we had good time.
Conveniently located airside, ideal for transfer. Swimming pool and sauna open 24 hours. Excellent food, very spacious room. None
It's great to have an option to sleep at a hotel right in the airport when you have long transit. The hotel itself is comfortable and clean and has nice amenities It's hard to get to the hotel, especially when you are lugging a wheelchair and a stroller at the same time. They also have multiple locations at different terminals, when we finally got to one of the locations, we were told that our room was booked in some other location even though there was no such mention in our booking. They eventually accepted our booking
Convenient location for transferring passengers, quiet (I did not hear the airport announcements despite what some ppl say) , lots of features, complimentary fruit basket :) :) the only noticeable thing was that the air conditioner was quite noisy even on the lowest setting.. but I was so tired it did not bother me at all.
I came in late and left early but the staff were great. Thanks, jwk nada
Quick check in and out, hospitality, quick and easy valet parking system and the interior design which was very children friendly. Generally, there are no sharp edges neither in the room nor the bathroom, so I didn't have to worry about my young daughter wandering around. I didn't get a chance to go to the pool or the gym, so this is mainly about the room and reception. It was good to see a local guy working there as well. Nice complementary accessories/fruits. The location is another advantage since it was very near to our desired destinations. The construction work around the hotel although the hotel has nothing to do with it. The tv not being an lcd which is also not a big deal. Overall it was excellent.
My experience was amazing, the stay at the hotel is valueable for the money. Hotel location, staff trating, spa, swimming pool are very nice. nothing..
location, restaurants and bar, staff room next to service door was very annoying. spa not that good many single men. The charged my credit card a big amount as pre -authorization is still not adjusted . both the bank and the hotel blame each other for not adjusting the charge.
The service at the hotel is prompt and efficient. Clean and an absolutley wonderful hotel. Will continue to stay there during each visit to Dubai. The only things we didn't like was how expensive the hotel laundry service is and how over priced and very bad the room service food was.
convinient for business trips no smoking in the lobby
The food in each restaurant we tried in the hotel was outstanding. The service throughout the hotel was excellent. The cost during low season is not unreasonable for the comfort and quality of the accomodations. One of the nicest hotels we've ever stayed in.
Everythning was so personal Nothing
shangri-la wants to be the same as a Four Seasons but that's impossible for them
the food is bad, poor cleanliness, overpriced. i'll not think to stay there again.
Water park was one of the best, beats all the U.S. Water parks combined .My 6 yr old loved it all. The aquarium is like and art gallery with fish as a background. Restaurants are expensive unless you like to paying $30 for a hamburger.
Everything from the waterpark to the dolphin bay to the amazing staff! I had to leave
the beaches, resturants, and the view are among the best i have seen the alarm sounded on my departure date as a test for fire, it took me extra time to get my bags due to stopping of elivators
I liked the view...and the reception was excellent(The Valet was very stupid. When I first arrived at the Palm, The valet ask me if I came for the resturant. I said no I am a guest and he gave me a weird look. Another employee next to him ask his fellow employee in hindi " What he say, hes a quest?? I didnt no why he would say that or ask any guest that question. Then I went inside to check in, Continued from the top> I love the lady at the front desk she was vey friendly. so after she check me in I ask her about the bellhop to bring my things up. She told me have to go the the front valet and show them my ticket and room number. " The front desk was not helpful with the valet at all that is the only issue I see with the front desk but everything els was great. I went to the front again to tell the valet to take to take my things to my room he said give me a minute and I dont think he new english that well. So i was waiting for 15 min when he showed up with my car and thought I was leaving or somthing. I told him all I want him to do is take my things to my room thats all! This never happen to me in a 4 star hotel.lol
This was our 3rd stay in less than a year at Atlantis & we love it,staff are very friendly & the imperial club room is good value for money, especially good if you have kids as our 10yr old loves staying there. because of the waterpark, lost chambers & aquarium being open to general public it can get very busy in the lobby.
Its good for family with kids The price is too high
If you want to have good time stay in any other hotel and go to have fun with your kids in the park only but don't you ever stay in the hotel if you order room service you will never get it, if a miracle happen and you get the room service it will be old and cold The worst service you can even get in your life. So far from 5 starts. The lost my bagels when I checked in for a whole night instate of having good time with my kids I ended up looking for my bages for the whole night
Amazing hotel and brilliant staff, pricey but worth it!!
building , luxury, international and family hotel
A very relaxing & enjoyable, comfortable beds, sheets changed everyday, the breakfast meal was first class.
Very relaxing place, and im amaze with great facilities and staff Everything is ok...
I liked the architecture and the uniqueness of design of the hotel. It was luxury personified.
