The Hotel ist really very good and the price too. The rooms are very clean and the wc ist wonderfull. The beds are comfortable and the staff ist very nice. There's a parking in the hotel, but we need to pay to use it.
vey welcoming after a days travel and breakfast was nice with a lot of variety .room was big enough and clean only one small niggle was on the day of leaving the cleaner came in at 9 but your not due to leave untill 12. thats all1
I checked in after 10PM and checked out 5AM next morning, so very little time to spend in the Hotel, but i certainly liked the ambience and would like to stay longer in my next trip to the city. Nothing
The food and beverage staff were great as well as the buffet breakfast. The rooms were immaculate as it is a fairly new hotel. The poor level of understanding English by some hotel staff which created a few issues and the way some front office staff dealt with a particular matter. On this occasion the hotels bottom line came first and the customers happiness came second . No mini fridge in the room.
I have to say that the Hotel was very modern and the staff very friendly and helpful What I did not like was that the room rates of the hotel was increased to a rediculous amount for my stay period plus on top of that you had pay for your wi-fi and use of the hotels car park. It just felt that you were being ripped off in everyway possible.
Convenience and location to roads, No
clean, cheap not easy to access by public transport, no explanation of public transport, very very expensive breakfast, no fridge in the room
Clean, modern, excellent breakfast facilities TV broken but room changed quickly.
If you are travelling by car to the airport perfect location (opposite direction to the heavy traffic) - 10 min drive Wlan did not work too well in the room and was expensive as was the car part at 12,00 Euro/night. The address does not appear to be #7 as the Navigation system takes you to another hotel (Rennaisance) - Mercure is further down the same road
Very friendly staff who don't mind to go out of their way to make you happy and feel welcome. It's these little touches that endear. No hot water kettle
room was a reasonable size internet costs were very expensive, swimming pool only open to 10pm, sauna extra 12 euros plus small and not open in morning, food very poor, drinks in room a rip off 5.5 euro for .5 litre of still water! stayed in many dusseldorf hotels as there every week and this is by far the worst.
I was unexpected surprised when we turned up at this hotel. It is a lovely 5 star hotel with everything that you would expect and I was only disappointed that it was a quick overnight stay. We got incredible value for money and the staff were friendly.
It was top class I take acception to the exhorbidant price increases during times of Trade Fairs
It had everything that was needed, to make a short break shopping and sightseeing trip comfortable. The cost of breakfast was rediculously expensive and so was the wifi, hence we spent very little on extras in the hotel.
It's a decent looking place. Charge for absolutely everything
Value for money, only 15 minutes from city center
Quiet well maintained hotel within easy reach to Duesseldorf International Airport.Excellent breakfast and facilities. Reception staff may be more friendly and efficient
Breakfasts were rather good. But we were on the honeymoon and staff was informed about it but they gave us twin room...!!! and also their operation with our credit card was very unsatisfying... double amount was blocked when we checked-in and it was unfrozen only 3 days past our check-out...
nice rooms staff bar facilities, cleanliness the price of the breakfast
Hotel staff were very friendly. Hotel in good location as quiet but still close enough to the city. Shower did not work
to improve TV becouse most of channal Germany languge and modifay any arab news channal
Just an overnight before catching a plane the next morning. Checked-in, slept, ate breakfast and checked out. No. A bit noisy in the hallways - i.e. the hotel is not very sound proof.
Clean and comfortable, close to public transport Not a complaint, but the reception staffs English can be very limited. Very little soundproofing.
Decent value for your money. Not easy to find from the airport.
Good value, helpful staff, convenient location not applicable
The service a
The owners were very nice and made our stay very pleasurable.
Nice stuff If you buy the night for 7 Euro, you will be sleeping under the ground level with poor window to the parking area direct. But for the price, no doubt att all !
The hotel is extremely close to public transportation, which sets it about 20 minutes from the city center. Nonetheless, the hotel rooms are very quite. Couple these facts with the room's price, and you get an excellent hotel! It might be due to the fact that we have arrived very late, or that we didn't order the room in advance, but there were no more non-smoking double rooms available. We had to choose between a twin room (seperate beds), or a smoking double room.
It was cheap and clean.
Arranged taxis, informed of trams etc.
taxi to the hotel 13 euros (11 minutes), the staff is excellent, clean and fairly quiet.suitable for transit through Dusseldorf.
We liked the hospitality and the friendly atmosphere in Artus Hotel. There were no such answers as no, impossible or don't know to ours questions. We had got assistance and information about all we needed. If we need to go to Dusseldorf again we should stay in Artus Hotel and we will advise our friends to do the same without any doubts. I would like to suggest only one thing. It is the access to internet connection in the room.
The hotelis run by an elderly Iranian couple and they are very friendly n helpful. The rooms are not very big but are decent enough to house 2 people n their luggage comfortably. They have free Wi-Fi which is good. It is located in a quiet neighbourhood and the nearest train station is a walking distance of 5 mins. The airport is also not too far and takes about 20 minutes (20 euros by cab) to get there. I'd recommend it for overnight n short stays. The only thing I didn't like was that the hotel had beds which very creaky (though comfortable) n that led to a slightly disturbed sleep at night.
Helpful in getting a taxi and map and general directions After 12 hours of travel, two stairs up carrying the bags, bad breakfast , bad dinning room
Accessibility to the airport. One tram to downtown. Free parking on city streets nearby. Outside of the pollution zone, so, if you drive in you dont need a red, yellow or green sticker on your windshield. The area was a bit dark and sketchy at night. They did not accept credit cards (apparently because of some "technical" problem), so we had to walk a bit to the nearest ATM, very inconvenient.
the location was a little futhur from the main station than i thought but once we were there we had a pleasent stay. i think breakfast for 7 euro was a little rich was stilll good.. i would recommend this hotel for anyone wanting to go away for a quiet weekend! just the location but i mean they cant help that.. although it was really close to a tram line.
The staff was helpful and very courteous! They were friendly to our dog as well. Also, it's only a 12 EUR cab ride form the airport. It's a little out of the way - but close to public transit (tram) that will take you right into the city center.
We liked hospitality and friendly atmosphere in the Artus Hotel. People of the Artus Hotel were very helpful. They did everything to make our stay in the hotel comfortable and we were given all information and help we needed. If we are going to visit Dusseldorf again we'd like to stay in the Artus Hotel again and we will advise our friends to do it as well.
