We got a cheap price on this hotel. The staff was nice and the beds were fairly comfy. Could have been worse. The room and hotel were run down. Some walls were peeling, the air conditioner was falling apart, there were potato chips in the AC, half of the motel was under construction. Also, it was between two "adult" locations which is not ideal.
The late check is was nice and the young lady that checked us in was more then helpful. She gave us a smoking room first, but when I explained about my child not being able to stay there she gave us a choice on a couple rooms that was available. The first morning when the family left the room, I went to the front desk and told them, housekeeping can clean the room at any time. OK was my answer. That evening when we returned, the room was not cleaned, but fresh towels were on the suitcase stand. I called the front desk, they said they will handle it in the morning. Again, the family left the room early and again the room was not cleaned. When the front desk was called a young lady said someone kept refusing services when housekeeping came to the room. When I tried to explain that no one was there, she then said no one can be in the room and someone will be there in the morning. I was livid. Two nights had gone by and no housekeeping. The next morning, the room was cleaned and we checked out the next morning. I understand I didn't book a 5 star hotel, but clean is clean. I thought I would get better service then I did. I was very disappointed.
Bed was OK. Near to Coliseum. This place was to be our honeymoon retreat and it was the most embarrassing mistake I have ever made. Well, it will serve as a family joke from now till the end of time. Funky little place. No lobby, no restaurant, no pool, --nothing. Felt like we were at a prison for drug addicts. Please never recommend this place to anyone. For the same price we could have been at a lovely and luxurious Holiday Inn even closer to the Coliseum but it was too late to get our money back. Very bad decision. They don't even have a regular desk clerk--you have to call from the front desk phone to check in!! Never saw anything so ridiculous in my life.
My son woke up after the first night with bites all over him from sleeping in the bed. We left after the first night
Staff was very friendly, met our expectations on room for what we paid. Location was good right next to a Panera and Bob Evans. Near shopping mall and other restaurants very close. I would stay here again. Hotel still needs updating , few things didn't work well ex. A/C and vent in bathroom worked however when turned on they were extremely loud. No TV remote. Name on hotel has changed but not updated on internet .
Clean room Breakfast was very weak
The best value hotel in Ft Wayne. Good, clean beds with a lot of space. We didn't have an extended stay, but appreciated the extra space in the full kitchen and lounging area.
Not a luxurious place but clean, comfortable and friendly.
Location - 24 hr Mc. next door for coffee. Staff held forgotten items for pick-up. Dumpster pick-up at 4 AM. Should not mention "breakfast" ... no coffee even in rooms.
The room was well kept Parking was bad, our toilet never worked, the wasn't a breakfast, employees you could tell are mistreated.
Rate was low, clean linens and comfortable bed. Facilities were run down, tv was old, remote was filthy.
The bed, it stunk, the sink didn't drain like it should have, not enough soap or towels for the bathroom, asked for the room to be cleaned, it was never cleaned
1st room smelled like smoke and urine. Second room was okay, but still had some odor. Staff were super helpful and accommodating though.
