vip lounge the food could be better
This place is excellent. Seriously nice. The staff is awesome, too. The only reason I give it 4 stars instead of 5 is because of its location. As a tourist, it's a bit removed from where you want to be in HCMC. I got a great deal, though, and taxis are cheap and easy to get.
Absolute best break from hustle and bustle of chaotic Saigon.
The breakfast! The simplicity of the rooms. And most importantly the bath tub!
One of Saigon's finest. Attention paid to each & every detail. Professional, attentive and efficient staff. Comfortable, spotless room with nice spaces to work in. Location is less than ideal, with very little within walking distance, but a free shuttle runs regularly to the heart of District 1, 10 mins away.
The breakfast spread was great. The spa is very affordable. The rooms were comfortable. When booking I accidentally just put the rooms down for one guest, even thought I had 2. Online the charge for 1 guest and 2 guest were the same. They tried to charge me $30 a guest per night. It was shady, but after explaining that 1-2people online doesn't change the rate. They accepted.
Extensive breakfast and attentive staff. Nice pool on the rooftop, overlooking the city. The free, hourly shuttle to the city center (District 1) and back was very useful. The gym did not have any free weights. Despite requesting non-smoking, we were lodged on a "smoker's floor", which had a certain smell to it.
I like the fact that the staff are very friendly especially at TOTT and the executive lounge. The Nasi Lemak dish that was served on the 25th floor during breakfast was also good and it reminded me of home. I was very disappointed that the American Discotheque did not allow me to charge my bills to my room. I was there three times and each time I had to use my available cash.
Reasonably priced hotel. Plenty to choose from at buffet breakfast even to westerners. Eggs cooked to order, bacon etc. The hotel is in district 5 in Chinatown, however you need to travel to district 1 to get to the better part of town. The hotel offers a free shuttle bus to town on the hour and they will pick you up too. The beds are hard, and I mean really hard.
dinner buffet, free shuttle to the center staff doesnt speak languages; poor internet connection in rooms; run down fitness facilities; disapppointing spa service; lacking professionality in many aspects (e.g travel desk)
It's a wonderful hotel. All the workers are friendly and Great! Grate service! Right next to a market place. Shopping availble at the 1st 2nnd and 3rd floor of the hotel. Mr. Giau Ho at the resutant is very good! He works so hard! Monitors event table n make sure everything customer is happy with Thespis n service!! Mr Tih. Duty manager speaks good English n can help you find things you want to do.He does a Greta job with translations n finding The best of What ur looking for!! Super customer service !! All the front desk girls are very helpful!! Great workers n Great hotel. I stayed 3 times already because of the workers!! Very clean. And all the bell boy are Nice! They Great you with your names!!! Nothing!!
The free bus shuttle into the city was a great plus. The buffet breakfast was superb. It's great that the city noise is shut out in the rooms, or it would have been unbearable. The staff was extremely helpful contacting the bank when we lost a credit card.
Free shuttle service to town was excellent and very punctual. Service staff were attentive and rooms were very clean. Staff could still improve when customer prefers not to upgrage to executive rooms. Counter staff's disappointment was written all over the face. We did not upgrade as we had booked 2 days of tours and did not see the need for being indulgent. This is our only aread of improvement for the staff.
the beautiful roof balkony. the fabolous view over the city, the luxury rooms, no
Location and staff friendliness. Elevators were so busy and slow. Room was not spacious.
1. good room cleaning service doesn't pay attention to "non-smoking" room requirement, caused me to live in the smoking floor for first night and disturbed a lot by drunk guest shouting outside the room
The hotel is near An Dong Plaza where you can buy almost everything. Inside the plaza, there is a restaurant where you can enjoy a buffet dinner with variety of Vietnamese dishes. We don't think the luxery room where we stayed is qualified as a 5-star hotel room. Based on internation hotel standards, the hotel, in our opinion, is 4-star hotel, not 5-star hotel as claimed.
the hotel is very nice, there is a spa and the room service is very nice as well.
The hotel has a convenient location and a free shuttlebus. The rooms are clean and the bed's are great! The food in the restaurant was also very good, overall we had a very pleasant stay. Although the food was good, it was also a bit overprised. Unfortunatly for us the breakfast was not included. And every time we had to wait very long to get our food.
the free city center shuttle bus the swimming pool closes so early
Very nice 5 star hotel.Nice and large room.Nice swimming pool.Had a very good rate(115 $).So good value for money Quite far from central Saigon, were most hotels and activities are.You have to take taxi, very cheap and takes from 10 to 30 min;depends on traffic and motorbikes;Surroundings of hotel very bad with only bikes workshops.Food at hotel rather expensive, but was quality
I saw fantastic presensation of the hotel throughout my stay,,well worthy of a repeat visit.
The room is clean & comfort The lobby counter is too small and the processing of checking in & out was too long and the services of the staff not so happyly.
Pleasant room, good breakfast Quite a long way from most tourist attractions. Didn't quite trust the concierge who tried to sell me some very expensive day tours, which had to be paid for in cash and arranged via his mobile phone (I declined his offers). Also, I had arranged a pickup at the airport but the driver had the wrong name and I had to wait for one hour while they sorted it out (it turned out they had the name of the booking agent rather than mine). He also charged me $20US for the pickup, which seemed a bit steep,
