I was comfortable, at ease. felt safe, and happily surprised at the free buffet breakfast. They offered egg and cheese omelets and the hot water for the tea was really hot! They have both "hard" and soft pillows, the sheets were fresh and soft feeling, free internet connection, and close parking to the door. nope
The staff was very friendly and expected my arrival. The room was to my specification and the free shuttle and free HOT breakfast was a super deal. The bathroom and bedroom were large and clean. I felt like I had a suite because there was a sitting room that I didn't even ask for! I really enjoyed my stay. Great for a quick layover. The only complain is that my room was near the highway and the noise was just a little bothersome. However, I was so tired that i just went to bed and had a fantastic sleep.
I'll get my only complaint (which I find is becoming more common in many hotels--not just this one) out of the way. In order to access their wifi (which you must pay for) you have to download a Microsoft Wifi app on your computer. To download the app you have to have an internet connection. So, download it before you arrive, bring an ethernet cord or be prepared to go to the nearest McDonalds or Starbucks late at night when you realize this. Just a little frustrating. However, I had a nice stay otherwise. I stayed in the business suite which had a king bed with an adjoining large couch and two televisions along with a desk for computer work. It was a pretty calm hotel and came with a basic, but nice free breakfast in the lobby. There were families and all of the rooms were booked but we had no noise complaints. The bed was comfy and we did not want to roll out of it in the morning. I'd recommend a stay here. If looking for places to eat nearby, I'd reccomend Spanky's Pizza, Boudreaux Cajun food and Chocolate Wasted Ice Cream. All three were wonderful.
Staff was very friendly. Check in and out was super easy. Room was very clean, bed was comfortable. Room and hotel was very clean but I only gave 4 stars because the elevator had a bad odor. In the lobby they have what they call a "full service restraunt and bar" but only 1 person was working it as a cook, cashier, barista, everything. It wasn't her fault but we had to wait forever.
Conveniently located of the freeway and close to Houston Hobby the Courtyard made a good location for travelling around Downtown and South Houston. The common areas are clean and modern with some nice touches, illustrated books in the lobby specific to the area give the visitor good reading material and possibly spark the interest to visit local attractions. The rooms were comfortable we experienced no issues during our stay. The staff were very helpful and courteous. We stayed Wed - Sun. The breakfast area closed at 10. a.m. on Sunday, many people came to the restaurant between 10 & 11 looking for breakfast items. We felt that breakfast could have been served until 11 a.m. on a Sunday. In defense of the staff they continued to serve coffee, donuts etc. until around 10.15.
Friendly staff. Close to airport. Offering free wifi only at lobby and charging for in-room wifi when not booking directly. This is an outdated practice as many competing brands are offering free wifi without strings attached.
Our stay was excellent, my wife and I will stay again. Prices were excellent, staff wonderful. Thank you. Nothing
24-hour pool, comfortable bed, free parking Inconsistent shuttle schedule
For the very reasonable price I felt safe and the linens and bath were clean. No coffee in room. There was a Walmart across the Highway. Great security surveillance. Close to MD Anderson.
Did have clean sheets and it seemed the bathtub and shower were newer Questionable neighborhood, questionable room cleanliness. But, most importantly, the smell was so awful. It burned our eyes and made us sick to our stomachs. We spent all of one hour in the room before we packed up and left, not caring that we wasted money. We just had to get to a different hotel.
Not much Smelly. Musty. Uncomfortable beds. TV was old and outdated with poor picture quality.
The manager was great, told me that if I needed anything even in the middle of the night he would be there as a part of my family to accommodate all my needs.Tooth brushes, razor, shower cap and many other things already in the room.CD & DVD player.
The room was large and the sink counter space was amply. The location was close to the freeway and beltway making it very convenient. It was quite. The commode made a loud noise when it was flushed.
Not much to like Staff inexperienced, bath dirty to a point of gross. I wouldn't recommend to anyone.
