Small pool, Thin blankets in bed
Staff was very helpful at check-in offering a free drink while we waited and prepared a to-go breakfast for an early morning flight and check-out. Location was ideal and rooms were a value.
The rooms were nice and very quiet. The restaurant is quite good, and the hotel has a very central an convenient location. The reception staff were helpful, arranging taxi transport to Vilnius airport at a fair (fixed) price. The "swimming pool" was miniscule - more of a duck pond, and the sauna did not work.
arrogant and unfriendly staff
Clean big rooms with free wifi, friendly staff and a nice breakfast buffé. Location is excellent.
The position and very modern rooms with WIFI access
friendly personal, location, view out of the window
Good place to visit if you´r looking for shopping. It´s not easy to comminicate with people, because they don´t speak english. Even in the restaurants and bars there´s staff who don´t speak english.
Good hotel, wonderful restaurants in the city, Cafeterias with delicious cakes etc. Clean city, nice people, huge shopping center "Acropolis". Short way to Vilnius by train.
almost everything small parking
Excellent location, comfortable and relaxed atmosphere. Some interesting architectural features. Large rooms Rooms need refurbishing. Breakfast not as good as in the past
It is situated in down town poor and dirty
The lobby was good, the location was excellent, but my room was bad! The sink in bathroom was falling off the wall, the toilet seat was broken and would not stay up, and there was very little walking space and no table. The room was not at all worth 35 euros!
Very warm, good value for money. Bathroom was very old fashioned. Electrical sockets were unsafe.
Old hotel, but very clean Very old hotel; leakage in the bathroom: all the water of the bath went first in the bathroom when emptiying
Very friendly and helpful staff, nice clean and modern bedroom. Very pleased with the overall service. Spent 3 nights in a triple room and would definately visit again! Cant really fault the place for the price!
Cheap and cheerful. Staff friendly. Breakfast wasn't great.
Perfect location, quiet but central for the main avenue and sights of the new city; the old city is within easy walk. Hotel has a wonderful old facade and foyer area, but the rooms -- especially bathrooms -- are clean and modern. Reception staff are cheery, helpful and all speak excellent English. Bulky breakfast buffet. Wooden floor rather than carpet throughout the room -- looks great but is a little chilly underfoot. Can't really have complaints with such fantastic value for money, though.
Position of hotel near to shops. No light in bathroom, broken light in bedroom, no curtain only net, too hot, stained carpet, badly decorsted
Convenient position, competitive price, pleasant public areas Poor breakfasts, rooms need refurbishing. Non-smoking rooms
no bottle opener in a room. i had to use table edge to open a bottle from a minibar :) and it was obviouse that i'm not the first who is opening bottles this way.
The room was big! service was great and breakfast was good.
The room was big The room was smelly and worn out, TV did not work
Hard to say. Not too far away from the city centre. The room was not prapared when we arrived - heating was switched off, TV was not working etc. The hotel should have renovation as soon as possible - the carpets are too old in the coridors and rooms. Our room had strange smell, the batroom was not cleaned enough and looked like in the middle of 90th.
T.he hotel is situated in a quiet place very close to the center. It has clean and cosy rooms. Despite the quite low price we had the same level of service than in average hotel.
Very, very cold.........
Fireplace in our room. Heating system didn't work properly, was very very cold un our room. Not light in bathroom, but dark. Had to wait for hot water about 15 min.
Parking at the hotel at no extra charge, large room, fireplace. TV did not work in practice, there is no WiFi available at all.
Very bad breakfast - served They could not find an ironing board for me! Pretty far from the center!
Parking in the room price. Big room and bathroom. Nice view over the city. Silent. Sink drainpipe was blocked. Toilet bowl cover was broken.
No fridge in the room , no toster in the breakfast room
was a lot of space in the room. bathroom is a little smelly. hotel surrounding not very pretty
Nice, friendly staff! The rooms are basic, but confortable! The room wasn't serviced after a night's sleep ...The location where the hotel is located is horrible ...surrounded by an unused and abandoned factory. Strange people lurking around! There're better hotels in town in better locations for nearly the same price!
The room was very big, clean and comfortable. Nice panorama room with big windows and great view over the city. The price was about hundred euros for weekend (two nights), very good value for money! The staff was very friendly and helpful. The hotel didn't offer any other food except breakfast. We arrived quite late at night and it would've been nice to get some snacks, sandwiches or drinks before going to sleep. There wasn't even minibars in the room, and I bet the hotel bar is open only at breakfast time. The hotel wasn't very far away from city center (maybe less than 1 km from Laisvės alėja), but it was up in a high hill. It wasn't very nice to climb the stairs up on the hill every time when we returned from the city to the hotel. But on the other hand, taxi from city center to the hotel costs only about 5-10 Litas - much more comfortable option than climbing the stairs to the hill.
Staff were very friendly and helpful. Comfortable beds and large room. Access to city center not easy, especially at night. Restaurant closed in the evening. No comfortable easy chairs in room..
Some of the reception staff were extremely helpful and polite Breakfast was rubbish, the bar and cafe was rubbish and closed at 6pm. The hotel is directly next to the oldest strip club in Kaunas, it is also down an alley way which make it feel very seedy and unsafe. I wouldn't recommend going out of the hotel on foot of a night. You must get a taxi for safety purposes.
The staff was very friendly and helpful, liked them a lot. Our room was very spacious and the bathroom was nice and clean. It was very, very nice to play some pool once in a while. Good budget choice. They should've cleaned the room and made the beds more often. We spent three nights and the room wasn't cleaned even once and beds weren't made even once. They did take the trash away though once or twice. The cafe was open at the hotel but most of the time no one was there. The hotel was situated next to a strip club.
The staff were excellent, friendly and very helpful. The room was very large. The breakfast was small but adequate and well presented. Terrible coffee though. Considering it was very close to town and on a major route from the airport it was very reasonably priced. There were little or no facilities. Absolutely nothing available in the evening. The approach to the hotel was down a dark, dirty alley which was rather intimidating at night. Acces to town was down a steep hill which was fine going down but difficult returning. There was a venicular railway but it closed at 7 p.m. There were steps but an awful lot of them. Some comfortable chairs in the room would have been a bonus.
Good value for money, close to city center. Cold rooms (2 out of 3). Not the cleaniest room. No pool table although billiard room mentioned in hotel guide.
