great view, friendly personnel, close to the highway-excellent for one-night transit bathroom needs to be renwed
Room small, not like in the pictures, staff very ok, pool closed
Cozy hotel with well appointed and spacious rooms, nice view to the sea and city of Kavala. Easy to reach from the highway. Nice outdoor restaurant with barbecue and swimming pool. Wireless internet access in the lobby. Need to be repaired. A little bit noisy because of highway traffic during the hight.
Comfortable stay. Staff were very helpful. Overlooks the Aegean Sea. Car park needs to be resurfaced.
Very nice staff, hotel was clean, nice view to kavala
Close to city center. Helpful staff. Noisy main street. Ask room with window to the back street.
good cosy and the place of hotel was excellent. I will think to stay again when I am in Kavala.
The best aspect was the location of the hotel. Walking distance to almost everywhere. It's location
location other than location all is poor rooms are small, old and badly maintained bathroom is more like 1 star cheap hotel, old and way too small
The location. At the heart of the city The bathroom. Small and old. Needs renovation.
Excellent view of Kavala, easy access to the room, to restaurant, to spa, to cıty center by car, easy parkıng. Clean and cosy, comfortable rooms. fıtness center, sauna and ındoor pool are served wıthın a payable package. Although not expensıve, could have been ıncluded ın room rates.
A very nice hotel with very friendly staff breakfast could have more options for a 4 star hotel
It’s not a new hotel; the furniture, decoration seemed old. We booked for a non-smoking room with view. The room was at the 1st floor but it was under the entrance! As it was so close to ground, you can see the view through the roof of buildings at the opposite side of street. The lights of the balcony are on until 12:00 at night and it is managed centrally. So even you sit at the balcony at night as the light are on and you are so close to ground everybody living around can watch you. The second bad thing was there was a conference room at that floor and the service door of it was opposite side of our room, so we couldn’t have some privacy. We were planning to stay for 2 nights. We asked them to change the room but they told us there is no free room. But when we said we are not going to stay for second night, they offered a new room for the second day. They also said there will be no meetings at the conference room while our stay but when we woke up in the morning we saw there is a meeting. The people were smoking in the corridor. So we left the hotel. We stayed Hotel Lucy same price, there is no view but the hotel, location was great. P.S. You cannot use the balconies at the view side of Egnatia Hotel at day time as it is eastern side of the hotel and sun burns the balcony and the rooms.
foods of restaurant is ok, no need to go out to find restaurant.
Friendly staff, well appointed rooms and splendid views over the town. The roof top restaurant did not live to its expectations as far as quality of food was concerned. The 22 euros menu advertised on your site did not appear anywhere on the rather pretentious restaurant menu.
location needs refurbishing
Hotel is in the center of the city, also near the seaside. The rooms and the bathrooms are comfortable, clean and big. The staff is helpful and friendly, speak good english. There is a souvenir shop next to the hotel :)
I am very greateful to two ladies/restaurant staff who kindly provided me with all we needed!Excellent staff! Very big problem, air conditioning was NOT cooling , only fan was working on 42C in the shade! Since hotel is located in the city centre , windows could not be left open due NOISE.
Location of this Hotel is great! Also, the hotel has parking, so you don't have to worry about parking.
Great location, one block from harbour, good breakfast, Basic room but okay for price
Very central location, only 5 mins walk from bus station, near Rapsani beach and Pangaia old town area. Breakfast was pretty fair. Location between 2 busy streets, makes it as if you are in middle of a traffic island. Air-con didn't work/was switch-off, so very warm with terrace door closed to keep noise down. Fresh fruit would have been preferred at breakfast to canned variety.
Room is very comfortable, central heating ststem is working properly, breakfast is good
The hotel is just near the beach and 2 mins drive to the city center. Nice decoration.
Hotel is very comfortable and nice. The room was also nice & clean. Even though it is in the city the place is quiet, no car or city noises. If you can afford, choose a room with sea view; the view is really nice and romantic. It has big car park and few minutes away to city center by car.
Excellent personel, neat, friendly, helpful, young. Very large and comfotable room and bathroom. Recently renovated. Modern design. good price. Very good breakfast for all taste. Needs better tuning of heating system. Needs harder and smaller pillows (or a choise of pilows if it is possible.)
Everything was perfect, we stayed in a big and clean room with fantastic view of the sea and the city. Breakfast was very good and i will definitely choose Lucy again on my next visit to Kavala
Good location right on coast with easy access to other locations in Northern Greece. Wi-Fi in public areas free, and wired internet in rooms free. Smoker friendly. Restaurant closed out of season on the day we stayed, and although snacks available in bar, rather limited selection.
Very clean , good rooms The staff can be helb for the luggage
Cleanliness and comfort of the relaxing rooms. The shower part was excellent. And smell of historical ottoman buildings
excellent decoration, silence, delicious and well-presented meals, nice view from the restaurant, peaceful environment, free parking on the street. Parking at the narrow and crowded street was not very secure. Promo-double room was smaller than my expectation.
Brilliantly and authentically restored building in superb location Food quality disappointing
a visit to this hotel is the best kind of pampering u can offer yourself! it feels like travelling to another era.the atmosphere is magical, almost mystical! it is beautifully decorated, the staff are more than willing to help and the goodnight service made an excellent impression on us!the architecture, cleanliness as long as the tranquillity u can enjoy there make this a place definitely recommended for any kind of getaway! the "water area", as they like to call it, should be kept cleaner!
Clean and nice wiev with a good location. We stayed at no 71. In the middle of the night we woke up due to the noie of next room neighbours. We want to call the reception however the telephone in teh room was not working ! So we could not sleep.....
the beach and sea unable to wash ourselves due to lack of water pressure in the bathrooms
Beautifull nature, beach, sea.. The view is magnificant. Good breakfast, nice personell.. I recomend!
Perfect location - 5 minutes from Kavala, very pleasant picturesque bungalow settlement. Nice, quiet beach, protected from wind Maintenance is indeed very weak, mattresses in our bungalow were old and very uncomfortable, and how we hear it is a problem throughout the hotel
The beach was very nice Quality of breakfast food was really poor, staff was not enough and not so helpfull. Interior decoration of the room was inadequate for a 4-star hotels. Air conditioning and fridge turn off when you leave your room. Price was definitely too high for the quality of the hotel. And when I checked out.... credit card machine was out of order ! Was it true ? Or they do not want to pay the credit card commissions ?
The view was great from the rooms of the beach and the breakfast in restaurant was very nice for the price. The rooms were simple but comfortable and adequate for our needs. When we arrived we seemed to be the almost the only people there. The expansive dining room (that accommodated around 100 tables) was a bit overwhelming with only 3 or 4 tables set for guests. Perhaps this is because we were traveling mid week and pre-season, but a smaller dining room when there are fewer patrons would be more comfortable. The location was further removed from the city center than appeared on the map. We had difficulty catching public transportation (the bus) into town, but the hotel staff did their best to help us coordinate withe the bus company, and helped us arrange a Taxi when we waited over 20 minutes in the rain and still missed the bus.
