Very little. Yet, the place appears brand new ( the pictures on booking.com are still the planning pictures). It's only attraction is that it is within walking distance from duval Street, say 15 minutes to midpoint of Duval Street. Rooms were clean and relatively spacous and internet was free. Forget about the announced 'island view' or 'pool view', to be renamed 'street view' (= no view), or 'parking lot view': indeed, two sides of the very small inner pool (area) are literally adjacent to the hotel inner parking lot. There is basically no lobby, as the small area adjacent to reception is used as a rather primitive self service breakfast area, all with plastic/foam plates and cups, with the cups for orange juice just large enough for a standard shot of whisky, but then without adding ice. No wonder they make you prepay for the stay. Certainly no resort hotel, and way overpriced ... And by the way: we had booked a "street view" and were allotted a "parking lot view" instead ( at a 20 usd rebate per night).
New renovated, well equipped and really clean rooms. They've charged us a city tax twice however when we've complained they had returned one payment immediately.
This hotel is brand new and the facilities are excellent. Great value.
Excellent choice for a weekend escape. Nice and clean king room at the corner of the hotel. Not too close from downtown but yet at walking distance.
The room was clean Receptionist was not pleasant, tried to ask for a different softer pillow, was told there are only the pillows in the room and there were no different than those. Not helpful at all. Breakfast was not much to much to speak of, some pastries, and over cooked hard boiled eggs. Definitely not worth the money . It was close to Duvall Street but other than that there is nothing that would compell me to stay there again!
Comfortable n quiet Air conditioner unit very noisy
Key Lime Inn has many desirable features. The staff went out of their way to make my stay there a pleasurable one. I especially appreciated their "personalization" of my stay by fulfilling special requests and providing suggestions about my plans for sight seeing. The location of KLI is great! It is easily reached by a taxi from the airport. It is located only a short walk from Duval St., and near the boarding//ticket area for tour buses, but well-removed from the "hustle and bustle"of that area. Importantly, it is very close to a pharmacy. My room was kept super clean and the breakfast provided was great. My stay was for 6 days, and I will plan to stay for an even longer time on another occasion. Absolutely no complaints. I did not have the opportunity to compare Key Lime Inn with other hotels in Key West, but I can't believe that the service (for the price I paid) is better anywhere else.
Key Lime Inn was a perfect place for us. Just slightly off Duval and just a short walk from wherever you wanted to go in that area. Staff was fantastic and we enjoyed our stay very much. Will recommend to our friends who will be visiting the area soon.
It is very cozy and cute. Good value for your money. Great location close to everything on the island, walking distance to downtown.
This was the worst hotel/bed and breakfast I have ever stayed at. The room was highly overpriced. The linen and towels were soiled and I found termites in my bed.
Only the location cannot justify the prices that they charge. Ridiculous, to say the least.
I loved that it was an old hotel but well kept up. Our room faced the pool so we could just go right out there. Breakfast was included and that included fresh fruit and juices, plus hard boiled eggs, pastries, toast, and French toast. They allowed us to keep our car parked there after we had checked out when we walked to a day boat trip and were allowed to go behind the office and take a shower before driving back up to Ft Lauderdale. So friendly.
The Eden house is a nice property, nicely kept. Did not like the staff, this is my 2nd time staying there, I must say, last time the staff was much nicer, and informative. This time the girl just took us to our room and that;s it, no frills, no warm fuzzy welcoming feeling,,,she did not even mention that they have a complimentary happy hour, I knew because I had stayed there before. Kinda rude staff. Poor parking!
What a great location. The room was small but adequate for what we wanted. We parked the car and walked everywhere. Would suggest to everyone on a budget and wanting a unique experience Everything was great. Cannot think of one negative comment
The grounds are beautifully landscaped with native Florida foliage and it really gives a feeling of being isolated in a tropical setting, yet it's not a long walk to Duval Street. Everything is kept clean and we didn't see any bugs inside the rooms or out. They just go above and beyond at the Eden House, from little extra conveniences in the rooms to hammocks scattered around the property, and a little happy hour every night. The staff is incredibly helpful and friendly and you will surely have a chance to meet the owner as well. No complaints from us!
hotel staff, spa, waterpool,
the closenes to town great staff beatufil lay out great pool and spa great happy hour would recomend to anyone none
Quiet and low key. Staff very accomodating. THey let you do what you want with no hassle. Nothing.
extremely friendly hotel staff; warm atmosphere; nice building with lots of plants and trees; serving free drinks during siesta time; 10min on foot to Duval street 1) Our room was facing the swimming pool and a fountain with a small waterfall which was extremely noisy 24/7. Moreover, at 10 am hotel stuff at the reception switched the music on which was supposed to be heard everywhere in the hotel as well as in our room. This was rather uncomfortable to listen to the waterfall noise all night accompanied by loud music starting from 10 a.m. 2) Being located on the ground floor, our room had the only window facing the path from all rooms to the swimming pool. Therefore we had to keep the curtains shut all the time and use electric lightning instead of day one which is pretty uncomfortable. Otherwise we had hotel guests walking all around next to our window!
The hospitality of the Eden House staff was amazing! We travel often and it was probably the best customer service experience we've ever had at a hotel or resort. Mike was great and made us feel right at home. The location was great and was only about 6 blocks from Duval street, so it was close to there, but far enough away for some peace and quiet. The layout of the hotel was wonderful because it had a bed and breakfast feel to it, but had a nice pool area in the courtyard and a hammock area. The only complaint we could find was that we had a spot on our sheets, but the room was clean and seemed to just be a stain that bleach didn't remove. Overall, it was a wonderful experience and we'd definitely stay there again next time!
very nice jacuzzi, nice gardens too small rooms
The room was to smalle with the bed in a corner. Nice garden, Price high compared to room standard Larger rooms
Great service, beautiful historic building, comfortable rooms! Would defintely return to this place!
We did not get a poolside king room
staff. especially Michael was great and very informatife and helpfull.
Knowledgable, informative, friendly, and helpful staff. Onsite parking was a little cramped for comfort.
It was so quiet the air conditioner was a little insificient
Close to Duval Street; great staff, comfortable room and good food. Cold water in the shower in the morning. It took a long time for the hot water to come through.
nobody at the reception despite the fact a confirmed booking! I could not get into the room and had to call an emergency number, the guy did not want to come to the hotel to open the room for us. I lost 50 dollar phone call with him to get myself a room key. Poor self-service breakfast, no bread, cheese, ham, just some cereal, a yoghurt and a muffin. Very expensive. I also cancelled my third night (a Saturday) and they simply divided the total price in three, while all hotels charge the most for the Saturday, I had to pay here the same for everyday of the week. So we did not like the hotel at all!
The Azul guest house in Key West is clean, safe, and lovely and offers a relaxing alternative to the larger properties. The wonderful Tippy is a rock star; she has a great sense of humor, and has the quintessential hospitality personality. Luv ya, girl! Only the guest rooms are air conditioned.
Good clean room, excellent breakfast and ideal location.
Staff was friendly and very service-minded. The hotel is small and quiet, with nicely decorated rooms. Good location for those of us who want to be close to events, but not have our sleep disturbed by the noise. Be aware that the breakfast is served during limited hours. The staff was happy to get some breakfast out for us, as we turned up twenty minutes after the breakfast hours ended, but it's of course better to make it in time!
Gracious staff. Went out of their way to help us have a great vacation. Tasteful decor. Very relaxing, welcoming atmosphere.
The perfect week-end get-away.
First, THE LOCATION. It was perfect. Its centrally located. Everything is at walking distance (Mallory Sq., Southern most point, Duval, etc). We could even come back to the hotel in no time for a quick shower in the evening before we headed out for dinner again. The house itself is very cozy and comfortable. We were received by this very nice lady who gave us an overview of the town and the hotel. The house had this unique antique look. The room was very clean and very well maintained. We were there only for a night but i wish we had a few more days to spare. The breakfast in the morning was pretty good too. The lady serving the breakfast was very nice and polite as well. Over all we had a great time. I would definitely recommended this house for an extended stay.
This was in a great location. Very short walk to everything. The room was clean, the cleaning staff was extremely nice, and the inside/outside were very pretty. The office staff were not rude but they weren't friendly. The shower head in the unit we stayed in needs to be replaced also--taking a shower was pretty terrible.
The location was great! The rooms are clean and comfortable. A European feel. The breakfast selections were very nice.
Friendly Atmosphere, felt right at home. (Roman was great) Nice pool , very quiet area, plenty of space in the rooms to spread out, very clean and well kept, and a great bed to sleep in! No water in the Coke machine! But other than that no complaints....I would stay there again!
Felt like home. The guy at the desk, Roman, was great and very friendly. When I go back to Key West, I will stay here again.
The room rate and location The shower stall was small/narrow.
Comfortable bed, nice big bathroom with good shower, hot tub and small pool, breakfast (simple, but sufficient) was provided Not right by duval street, which i liked, but an easy walk to get there - the whole island is very walkable. Roman and Michael are the best and truly make the stay at heron house worth it! A bit noisy in the morning - some coming from storage room by door, some coming from side alley
Me and my wife had a honeymoon over there. Everything was amazing. Customer service
Excellent location. Able to walk to beach and Duval St. No vehicle needed
Straight away we had a warm welcome from Derek, who was happy to spend time giving suggestions for some local restaurants, help with booking excursions and and offer us a complimentary drink! Nice breakfast each morning at the lovely outside area and the rooms we had was very clean! Location was also great as was only a short walk to the main Duval Street area. Would definitely stay again.
Very very nice One of the rooms was very hot. The AC did not reach both rooms
I liked the location and that is was a nice quiet place. They had a nice little breakfast in the mornings which was perfect for us. It's just a nice place and you don't have to break the back to stay a few nights in Key West. I would definitely stay there again and will recommend it to others. Not much to dislike. Others may complain about things like the air conditioner being loud or the bed being too firm but neither bothered me much at all. You can always find something negative about any place you stay but I'm not going to report anything negative because I thought this place was just what we wanted and filled our needs perfectly.
The staff was wonderful! Room was nice size. No T.V. and no refrigerator?? We found that very odd. Booking online did not have the info we needed to find this out before. We would have stayed elsewhere

Staff was amazing and accommodating. Room clean and comfortable and quiet. Walking distance to everything including church. Would definitely stay there again! N/A
Loved the hostess they we both very friendly and helpful. The breakfast was lacking. We had a contentinal breakfast and could have received the same treatment at a holiday inn. The room was noisy due to the street traffic and the porch lights flooded the room with light at nite.
Great location and accomodating staff. Cindy and Radolfo and the young lady who checke me in. Can't recall her name. All very nice! No TV or desk. I was traveling on business.
It was charming... exactly what I though Key West would be. Needs a good AC.

The staff was extremely helpful and friendly! It was only a short walk to Duval street! Breakfast wasn't very good and it was a very old house so you could here everything.
Unique old style lodging and well located
The location was a few blocks from Duval and very close to all attractions. Being an Adult Only, it is peaceful and private. The staff is great. Wished it had a mini frig and coffee pot since they don't open till 8:00 am. A TV in room for morning news would have been nice.
Great staff! Very helpful and kind. Nothing! Already booked for next year
Bit on the expensive side. Breakfast was limited although adequate.
value of stay size of room
It is right in the heart of the activities area. 2 blocks for bike and motorscooter rental (highly recommended as parking is almost non-existent around the tourist and activities area - but you can park a bike or scooter anyway). Or just walk another couple of blocks. The room is quaint and charming. This is a small hotel, a converted old home like many of the hotels in the old area are. The pool area is charming as well. With I think only 6 or 8 rooms, very quiet. A couple of the rooms such as ours have a private bathroom/shower, but it is down the hall. Most rooms have their own bathroom. I didn't mind the private lockable bathroom being a few feet down the hall, but my wife wasn't that fond of that aspect. There is no on-site parking - also common to those little hotels in the activities, historic and tourist district, but you can unload there. You can park your scooter there. Anyone familiar with Key West knows it is bicycle and scooter town due to limited parking everywhere. Otherwise you have to find street parking (free). We arrived late and they let us leave our car in the driveway until the next morning. For Key West, the price certainly was right and again super convenient. The BIG motels and hotels cost much more and are FAR away - not within walking distance.
