Unfornutately,I stayed at hotel RIO only sleeping because of heavy biz. N/A
Had shuttles that took you to the strip. Our keys dod not work one day and we were stuck waiting in the hallway for 30 minutes for maintenance to arrive.
Spa visit and pool
free parking + casino one man working in reciption when i make chake in he said that my master card not working and he take 700 dollars as deposite his name sam and when i made chake out the reciption said why this stupid did that then give me my money cash back ,,
Nice hotel close to the strip (with free transport to the strip). Good conference facilities and really nice view from the Voodoo lounge! Hotel is really big, so difficult to find places (orientation). Also information provided in-room about facilities was too limited.
The room service staff was very nice and accomidating The pool was not open during our stay/
The room was big, and the layout was good. It was nice to have a fridge. The mirrors were good. The view over the Strip was excellent. I got a rash from the washing agent used on the sheets. It's tired, the decor very dated. The hotel is falling to bits piece by piece, little things kept going wrong.
I liked the location, price, black jack tables and the Buffett. I don't like the naked servers, smoking, old furniture , bible in my room, and that's it.
Pools three beautiful. It is a lot of restaurants also it is very tasty. On 50 floor restaurant and night club with kind on city. The big and convenient rooms. It is magnificent hotel and for family rest too. The pool is there with sand and falls, specially for children. All very much was pleasant to me.
Check in/out was quick and easy. Suite was large, clean and comfortable. On site restaurants were good. Bus to the Strip was convenient and timely. Rooftop lounge was fun with great views of the Strip and mountains. WiFi service was intermittent and a little expensive.
It was very cosmopolitan. The price/room was one of the best in Las Vegas (50$/night). The pool was cool. Don't miss the Voodoo lounge and Carneval of the World buffet !
My fiancé and I really enjoyed our stay at The Palms and will definitely stay here again. The rooms were very clean, updated and comfortable. The front desk was able to get us a room with a view of the strip. We thought the view was pretty cool since your off stop and can see way more especially at night. Our only complaint was about the shuttle service. This hotel would have 5 stars from me if they had reasonable hours for the shuttle since it is off strip. The hours are from 11am-8pm. These hours barely get you to the strip for a later evening dinner. I don't think it would be too much to ask to have a nice hotel like the Pamls offer their shuttle until at least midnight in Las Vegas.
Room was clean and up to date. Ghostbar was great. Buffet was very good. distance from the strip
The room was clean and spacious.
Price, Nice, Beautiful Room, Great Service There was blood droplets not just once but twice on the sheets!!! Seems very very unsanitary. Other than that it was great value for great facility. Would've given a 5 start on everything if not for that. And location is a bit off strip but did have beautiful mountain views from rooms. Also the doors to balcony are permanently locked.
The Palms is great. Both NINE and NOVE are delicious. The casino is super fun though very smokey compared to others. Unfortunately we were unable to stay. We booked using the Kayak app and it was forwarded to Expedia. Unfortunately Expedia never sent the reservation to the hotel. The hotel did say this was not the first time they had seen this happen.
It's gotten very tired very quickly.
Everything. Everything was perfect.
Fact that I feel like I was over charged to what I was supposed to being according to what it said online
It was a spacious room. Definitely a great value. I wish that the showers were separated with a window.
The employees were very kind and helpf Air condition didn't work well in our room, and our room keys always had to be redone. Eveyte I got to my room I'd have to hop back in the elevator to go get a working key.
The speediness of the booking. When I called to make a reservation, a person from India answered my call not someone form the USA this person thought they had a decent accent so they spoke extra fast. The only they made clear was that "140" to Change or cancel my booking. Poor service
Manager overcharged for the room and lied to my face
The vibe in the pictures looks so fun. We were uprades as well. Once you get in the room, you quickly see everything is dated, worn and not very clean. We were in a suite so I would hate to seethe regular rooms. It looked like the cleaning staff did a quick wipe down at best. The carpets certainly had not been vacuumed. Very disappointing!
Nice room It was to far fro he strip
Nice sized rooms, I had one of the corner suites. Jacuzzi tub was great. Nice to have a washer dryer in unit. Easy parking right out front so no need to valet. I liked that it was away from the Palms Casino, but close enough when wanting to walk over. Furniture was starting to show its age, fridge wasn't working 100%.
Staff is friendly, clean, beds sleep amazing, easy access to food area in palms casino not overwhelming crowds! Very modern and luxeries even in the basic rooms, will always stay here if possible when I visit Vegas! There was nothing I didn't like
My boyfriend and I love the fact that it was inexpensive for two nights. I enjoyed the layout of our studio suite which included a kitchenette (didn't use based on the fact that we're only here for two nights). The room and lobby was well maintained and very clean. We had complimentary valet parking and free self parking which was a bonus. The staff were friendly and the restaurant served delicious meals which was also inexpensive. Looking out of our window we could see Las Vegas Strip and the bed was so comfortable. The only bad thing I could actually say about this place is the location. It seem as though there might be a rough neighborhood nearby due to the type of people that were passing by. I did not feel comfortable walking from the strip back to hotel. Plus it's a 20-25 minute walk to the strip which could seem long because of the humid weather.
We stayed on the 51st floor. Great view. The highlight of my stay was the jet tub. Close to Chinatown ++ Floors were dusty. Room smelled so we had to purchase & light candles. Interior furniture is dated & worn out.
I overall had a GREAT/ Amazing experience and would defiantly come back. I had all the amenities in my room and the best service from the staff. Especially Kaylee at the front desk she was very accommodating. I was staying in a separate room from friends and she made sure our rooms were as close as possible. Without her my stay would've been good but turned it into AMAZING! Thank you again Kaylee I really appreciate your help :-)
Beautiful tower view
We made a reservation for a standard room, but they were overbooked and moved us to the Fantasy Tower to a suite. What a treat. I would never book a suite like that, so it was a once in a lifetime experience. Thank you Palms Place I don't like walking through casinos to get to your room - but for the most part, that is Vegas
I like that this hotel is off the strip and offers a retreat from the vegas crazy if you so desire. It has a nice quiet, but still close enough to enjoy a vegas night if you so desire. I also enjoyed the pool, it was small, but very relaxing, great atmosphere, nice amount of chairs without having to buy a cabana, and the bar and wait staff were attentive enough without being annoying. I have stayed in this hotel on 2 other occasions and had an excellent time and come back raving to friends. This last trip was extremely disappointing. First the wait to check-in was less than ideal since they only had one person working the front desk. Soon another staff member came, so i'll give them credit for realizing an issue and addressing it. The next issue was that the room we were assigned smelled like wet dog, very strongly. The bell man even came into the room and noticed the smell and said he would hold onto our bags until we got a new room. I called the front desk to request a room change, which didn't seem like it would be an issue as we arrived early enough in the day. They said they would call us back and it took about 20min for them to call back and state that they had no other rooms they could possibly move us to, but they would send housekeeping to freshen up the room. So we wait for housekeeping to come and work a miracle. After about 20minutes we call to inquire when they would be arriving, they say right away and we wait another 15min for someone to arrive. When housekeeping arrived they had a watered down bottle of febreeze that they sprayed around the room. This is what housekeeping told us it was, "a watered down bottle of febreeze." Needless to say this did not fix the issue. The housekeeping guy even said it smelled and we should ask for a new room. I call down again to the front desk and share that the room still smells and that housekeeping even said that it did after he used the febreeze. The woman from the front desk then put me on hold for about 10 minutes, when she returned she said that she checked what i said with housekeeping and now they would move us to another room. I am sorry i found this so insulting. So basically they did have a room to move us to initially but instead lied and said they didn't. I would have been less upset if they initially said hey let us try to fix the problem first before we move you to another room, the fact that they lied and then felt the need to fact check what I was saying was absurd. So then we wait another 45minutes to actually get moved to a new room. This was because they didn't seem to know who was doing what, we had to call the front desk again to follow-up, then wait for another call from the front desk in which they said that the bell man would bring up our new key and our bags. So we continue waiting and finally the bell man arrives with our keys...but no bags. I share with him that we were told he would have our bags too and he said he didn't know anything about that, so we call again and finally our bags arrive. The next thing that was not ideal was the ability to get a taxi. We soon learned that we needed to plan to leave an hour to an hour and a half early to go anywhere on the strip. I even attempted to call valet before we got down there to see if we could ensure a taxi was down there when we came down, but no one ever answered the phone.
View, space, staff Couldnt access the balcony.
Staff were nice and attentive Rooms are huge clean and comfortable Grant plus the kitchenette Quite and peaceful yet close to the Vegas hassle and basal The complimentary Internet service is slow. Most hotels in Vegas provide good speed comped for this price a night.
Clean, comfortable and excellent service. Great food at Envy Steakhouse onsite. Superb service. We especially liked riding the nearby Monorail to the hotels on the strip for a bit of gambling..then returning to our smoke free hotel for a good night's rest. Breakfast at the hotel is outstanding! We were in town for a wedding but staying at the Renaissance LV was like a much needed restful mini-vacation. We cannot think of anything negative.
The Rooms were very comfortable and nice, great flat screen. We also liked that they had a robe. The front desk staff was very nice and helpful, took time to explain everything to us and made us feel appreciated and acknowledged. very good first impression. The woman was of Asian decent who checked us in, she rocks!! The food we ordered at the Bar tasted horrible, I ordered chicken strips and they were over cooked, tasted like the oil and where hard.
The overall experience was good. The hotel's facilities and rooms are very clean. The staff was excellent and very accommodating. The location is right next to the Convention Center and just a hop, jump and skip away from the Strip. Although this is more of a business and convention hotel. While the overall experience was good, it is recommended for business. The bar, for instance, closes at midnight; this seems a little early, especially for Vegas. The pool is very small, and again, more for the business person not for fun. Overall, a great hotel but more accommodating if your in Vegas for business.
Comfortable overnight stay. Close enough to the strip. Quiet and clean. Quick check-in process. I did not like the shampoo and conditioner provided. Both felt too drying on my hair and didn't feel like they were cleaning my hair that well.
Swimmingpool is not like in the pictures, very small!
I loved how big and comfy the bed was!! I didn't like how thin the walls seemed to be, but it's ok nothing too bothersome.
GREAT staff and really nice rooms located right next to the convention center. Nice view if the golf course and strip hotels if you're located on the Paradise side of the hotel. N/A
Excellent hotel, staff and accommodations. Garage and elevator banks easily accessible. Most importantly, avoid the headaches of getting to the strip; the Renaissance offers multiple access points to the strip without time wasted. N/A
I traveled to Las Vegas for a friend's wedding and brought along my 23-month old daughter. The hotel was perfect for a dad/daughter weekend with the right amenities, a very friendly staff and a quiet stay overall.
If there was a conference this place would be gold! Very fancy and nice vibe from everyone. Staff was awesome not your normal fancy hotel staff... Excellent price for classy hotel The bed was very stiff and was like sleeping on the floor. I think maybe it could use a topper or something but I am sure that is impossible to upkeep.
Found a great "private deal" on kayak that was only $50 for a night. Deal was legit and they didn't try to get me with hidden stuff - well no more than everyone else at least. Though not on the strip they have a free shuttle to he strip every half hour. Movie theater and pool were nice to have. $17 "resort fee" each day to access he wifi and things like that kinda run me the wrong way. Could add up after a few days.
Stay was great one thing beds were a little hard
I booked from Kayak and there shouldn't have extra fee. But this hotel told me that I need to pay for the hotel fee (which is an extra charge). But I have already paid a "hotel fee" when I booked this hotel. The staff didn't give me a good explanation and just told me that these two hotel fee are not the same (for me, IT IS THE SAME. THEY WERE HOTEL FEE). The hotel fee I paid on Kayak is only for Kayak not for the hotel so I need to pay them hotel fee. I would never choose this one again.
Smoker on the casino floor. Wife has asthma.
That we really didn't need to leave the hotel! That the pool closed so early (6pm).
Loved the great atmosphere! Rooms are great .
it was a very quiet hotel except our room was located above the delivery dock so first thing in the morning we were woke up with back up alarms. Really good location if not wanting to stay on the strip. The buffet was priced appropriately - you get what you pay for, The live band was awesome on Friday evening. The big screen in the bar area was super awesome for football Sunday.
Room size Nothing
Everything was great I wish I had a fridge!
We thought The casino was cleaner then we remembered. The shower drain was slow, leaves you standing in dirty water. Some of the detail work, like caulking done sloppy, needs to be redone.
The location was close enough to the Strip that there was easy access but removed enough so there was no constant distraction or disruption. I wish the fitness center was 24 hours.
Had a lot of good value Was in a less than stellar area
It was clean Our door didn't lock when we tried to leave for our evening out. Although we were able to move to another room it took longer and we were late for the show we purchased.
Great complimentary breakfast, shuttle service, swimming pool None
Very enjoyable and comfortable. The breakfasts were great and so were the receptions in the afternoon. Indoor pool was way to cold.
I was in town for my sisters wedding over at the Wynn. The location was perfect as most of my family was staying at the Wynn and the Embassy Suites is less then 5 minutes by cab. The staff at the front desk was very helpful and very polite. The room was very nice and comfortable. And the price was great. I only spent a 3rd of what it cost to stay at the Wynn and was only 5 minutes away. The breakfast was also very enjoyable. It's one of the main reasons I look to stay at the Embassy Suites if I can. The bathroom was not as nice as the rest of the room. The faucet was cracked and corroded, the shower looked like one you'd find in a motel, and the marble counter had these odd stains on them. I would rank the room at a 4 star and the bathroom at a 2 star.
I always attempt to stay at Embassy's where ever I go mainly because of the ammenities. I wish the hotel had airport shuttle service.
Nothing. The hotel was overbooked and I couldn't stay there even though I already paid for the resrvation. Very unhappy that I purchased a night's stay so I could be near the airpot and have an easy checkout for a morning flight only to be turned away due to overbooking and "upgraded" to the Venetian. I spent 234.08 for the convenience of an embassy suites only to be given the fun of trying to figure out how and where to park at the venetian, the ridiculous walk from the car to the check in desk, check in hassle of everyone arriving on red-eyes and the pleasure of getting up extra early to do all that again the next morning. What I am trying to say is that when you want the convenience of the Embassy Suites and its location near the airport and you have already paid for the stay it is a large mistake on a business's part to upgrade someone to the hassle of the Venetian. If I wanted the Venetian I would have rented a room there instead. There were plenty available. the Venetian was an excellent hotel I just didn't want to stay there for convenience reasons and the Embassy Suites made my entire trip home miserable due to exhaustion from only getting 4 hours of sleep due to all the extra time needed finding and getting in and out of the Venetian.
They lost our reservation then ran my card for the weekend rate at the hotel. We missed our dinner plans at Gordon Ramsay because we couldn't get into a room and shower on time. Hotel is in repair process looks very tacky for incoming guest. Front desk trainee did what she could to accommodate but she had no pull. Put a damper on the weekend for sure. Will never book here again
I liked it all. Close to everything. Nothing I can really complain about. The only comment is that the decor needs updating.
The rooms were lovely to look at and delightful to sleep in.
The rooms were very spacious, clean and comfortable. I especially liked the flat screen tv's. Also, the full breakfast was excellent and the staff was very friendly.
The front desk staff were very kind and helpful. Rooms were clean and comfortable. NO resort or parking fees. Shuttle to the strip every hour. Neutrogena toiletries. Weird, ocean (?) type smell in lobby, probably temporary.
The pool area was nice and cozy, although they close at 10. We were there over the 4th of July weekend and you would think they would be a little lax on the time since it was a holiday, but at 9:59 the lady working the bar came out and told everyone to leave. We stayed at Fairfield the night before and their pool closed at 11. The breakfast sucked. A lot of reviews I read said the breakfast was "awesome." Far from the truth. They had the typical waffles, fruit, yogurt, and pastries. Boiled eggs and egg omelets floating around in liquid...ok? No bacon or sausage. I grabbed a banana and called it a day. They had a nice older gentleman as a Breakfast Attendant that went around and gave the kids toys and coloring pages which was a nice gesture. He was really friendly and seemed to enjoy his job. The rooms were basic, nothing special. They had a small cube refrigerator in the room that was just randomly laying on the floor. Never seen that before...usually it's in a cabinet.
Very comfortable beds Near In-N-Out for late night snack Good Breakfast both food and eating set-up Driver said shuttle to strip stopped at before 11pm which seemed strange and meant that we had to drive our own car for a 10pm show at the Tropicana.
The hotel was reasonably priced and had all the basic amenities. The breakfast was amazing! The room was comfortable and clean and the front desk staff was friendly and helpful. I wish they would have started breakfast earlier than 6 - the first shuttle to the airport was at 6, so we missed breakfast our last day. Once an hour for the shuttle wasn't really enough and it would have been nice if the shuttle also picks you up - a cab from the entertainment strip right across the highway will cost you about $10-$12 with tip.
Best Breakfast. Comfortable beds
Great experience and stay overall. Check-in and check out process was quick, easy, and painless. Breakfast was great and fitness service met my needs. Thank you and I don't mind making a return visit here down the road.
Loved the room and front desk area. Pool closed to early.
Just a positively great oasis in the flash of Vegas. it's tranquil, clean, FRESH and comfortable. The amenities were great and honestly addressed all my needs, down to my forgotten toothbrush and toothpaste. nothing negative here
The hotel was conveniently located close to, but not on the Strip in Vegas. Having the airport shuttle, which ran often to the airport is a bonus as was a shuttle drop off to the strip once an hour. The buffet was excellent with scrambled eggs and a meat offered along with waffles, oatmeal, cereals, yogurts, fresh fruit , breads and bagels. One of the nicest assortments and well kept area constant cleaning and filling of offerings. Pool area nice to relax by quiet with plenty of tables and lounges. Getting back from the strip you had to walk on a busy overpass. If they had more pickups from the strip that would of been nice presently only at 5:30 and 10:30.
The shuttle driver was very professional and really nice . The staff at check in were very helpful and respectful When I arrived felt a little ignored . No one said anything and I was waiting until some one said somethig.
Daily shuttles onto the Las Vegas Strip was very convenient and cut down on the taxi fees. The location is not the greatest but than again I was aware of this and new that I was not centrally located to the strip. The shuttle makes up for this with a drop off point near one of the hotel tramways with access to the strip monorail.
- Location - Hotel breakfast - Room configuration - Room 322 had crack in ceiling - Lack of mini fridge
close enough to the strip without the noise, free parking, free breakfast, free internet, 42" plasma tv, fridge and coffee maker $20 charge for late checkout (2pm), small bathroom
Having transportation from airline and to events. The staff was friendly and greeted you ever time you passed them there is nothing I can say was negative about this hotel
Me and my boyfriend along with another couple came to Las Vegas for the Rock and Roll marathon. We LOVED The Hyatt Place, not only did they have excellent customer service but we arrived into town earlier than expected...we called to see if we could check in early and they let us check in at 8:00am!!! Originally we were not able to check in until 3:00pm. Did I mention that their front desk person, Megan had EXCELLENT customer service? Both of the girls were extremely bubbly and friendly..giving us directions/letting us know of extra services and much more I just can't remember becasue after all I was in Vegas....the rooms were great and overall we got a great stay for the price. IF YOU ARE LOOKING TO STAY OFF OF THE STRIP TO SAVE A LITTLE MONEY, STAY HERE. GREAT LOCATION, FREE SHUTTLE AND FREE BREAKFAST.
I have stayed at the Hyatt Place in Las Vegas twice now, and each time the friendliness and helpfulness of the staff was what impressed me the most. They were always on point, and I felt that they really live the meaning of hospitality. Kudos to the staff all the way around. The room was comfortable, large, and had every amenity that you would expect (big tv/cable, refrigerator, coffee/tea maker, safe, etc.). The breakfast offered in the morning was good, and their free wifi and shuttle made the stay super convenient. The Las Vegas heat was oppressive when I stayed, but the staff encouraged me to stay hydrated and to stay out of the sun as much as possible.
That it was nice for the price. And the TV was nice. The pool is to small and it was drity. The room did't have a DVD player..
Nice and relaxing, walking distance to the Hard Rock casino. We like the shuttle bus. The drivers are very nice and on time. Howard is very nice and friendly and easy to talk too.
Spacious room, location on walking distance from the Strip, free internet No minibar, no alcoholic bevarges served in the bar after 11:00 pm - is this Las Vegas?? But one is gladly refered to a shop about 50 meters away that is open 24/7
the staff there was wonderful - plus i love the room layout with the additional seating area, kitchenette, and large dressing area.
Is close to Las Vegas strip. Clean rooms . Free wi fi and free breakfasts. Indoor pool 24 hour. What else to ask for?
Clean beds Garbage on Floor the cleaning staff missed, broken towel rack, felt run down. I had no idea it was so animal friendly (jar of doggy treats at front desk...). Im at home now the next night and can't sleep because my allergies are so bad. Me and kids all came home with bad allergies. It wasn't obvious on the website when booking that it was animal friendly. Lady at front desk said every room has had animals in it. Breakfast was sub par, indoor pool was FREEZING. me and kids got in for all of 2 minutes. If you have allergies or want to do anything there besides just sleep, might want to explore your options.
I was a little disappointed with this stay. The room smelled a little like dog pee (and I have a dog), was on the basement level which I dislike, and had a lot of road noise. Also the room next door had very loud and rude guests who shouted and actually beat on the wall in some evident celebration. The bed was also not as comfortable as during my previous stay.
Private Allows dogs The front desk staff. I had a three-day reservation and I arrived late after calling in explaining that I was going to be late. My room was giving away and my reservation was canceled I had reserved the brooms for $85 and night. The person at the front desk didn't apologize. They just told me that my raw reservation was canceled buy them and they wanted me to reserve a new room for the next two nights at $129 a night which was there right at the front desk. After absolutely no help I went to the other La Quinta by the airport and stay there for two nights and $96 and night and I still lost out on the money for the first night which was prepaid and charged. My room should not have been cancelled at all since it was charged and it will be challenged. My reservation was not there when I got there and I could not use the reservation that was prepaid for. Therefore, as the service industry is well aware, I am not responsible for any charges especially after you tried to rip me off by canceling my room keeping the money and renting to someone else and then offering me a broom for $50 more with tax and fees compared to the $85 rate with taxes and fees per night. You can see by searching for me as a guest Thomas Bortolini (Tom) and see how many Laquinta Inns I have stayed at. Also my room smelled and was not vacuumed well AND MY SHOWER DIDN'T EVEN TURN ON!!
Convenient to the airport which is what we needed.
comfortable, close to airport, fairly clean small bathroom, stain on bedsheets
Breakfast was good and ran for long hours, shuttle to the strip was convenient and easy, staff always accessible and helpful, tv didn't automatically set the volume too loud (a problem I had at other locations) Not much around the location so you basically had to drive or go to the strip for anything, and as for the room in particular, the wall thermostat was finicky: sometimes it controlled the AC and sometimes it didn't.
-The main Strip is visible -Has pool -lots of free parking -One elevator of two was broken -had some really loud guests
newer hotel. clean. attentive front desk despite our late arrival. not easy to find.
Clean and new I didn't mean to book a hotel that far from the strip. The area selector should be more clear, otherwise I would have never booked at this location.
Free upgrade to a beautiful 1 bedroom suite. Concierge/desk person wonderful
My wife and I were very pleased with the overall customer experience. The staff was professional, polite, and helpful! No. The staff went above and beyond to make feel welcome. We were greeted every morning at breakfast which was very good.
The room was spacious and clean.
Staff were great. Shuttle great service. Breakfasts were better than expected. Very little. Minor request would be to vacuum the rugs more often.

The suite was a decent size, the location was perfect, and the staff is very attentive to meet clients needs. I didn't like that the Hotel's pool was closed, they have an amazing outdoor facility. I was looking forward to it. Although the pool was not open, I was told that we were given access to two pools from the hotels across staybridge. We used Hollidays in.
Clean, nice room without unnecessary frills. Bed was too soft. Transportation to the Las Vegas strip could have been much more frequent (every 15 minutes would have been nice.

Everything but the knock on the door, frankly We got an insistent knock on the door at 6am (after having arrived at 1am w/ small kids) waking everyone up. Once I finally got to answering the door, he said he had the wrong room and just walked away. Sure, it was an honest mistake, but messed up our first day.
This worked out great for us. 2 adults 2 children in a 1 bedroom. We did bring our aerobed to go with the fold out couch. A little crowded at times, but it worked out well. Great location for access to the south end of the strip. A free shuttle every half hour to the Mandalay Bay and one every hour to the MGM. We drove to Vegas and still utilized the shuttle at times. The small pool was crowded on the weekend, but on Monday afternoon, we had the entire pool to ourselves. It was really nice as there is some shade and a great way to cool off on a hot afternoon. Would stay there again and reccommed this to others. Oh... almost forgot, there is a huge In & Out Burger down the street at Tropicana Blvd where you will find the best hamburger and french fries in the world.
Really clean and nice. Will stay again
I was very pleased with this hotel. The staff were pleasant and were attentive. The only problem we encountered was that the heated pool wasn't very heated the last few days. They said the heater broke but we weren't sure. The buffet breakfast was very good. The complimentary shuttle was also nice.
It was a pleasant stay away from the hustle of the strip and yet so close. I did not use the shuttle to the Mandalay Bay but I thought it was a great idea. Great clean comfortable rooms.
The beds were heavenly and you could not hear a sound from the other rooms or highway. The breakfast was a full spread, not just cold items, and was included in the price of the room. The hotel offers a free shuttle to the strip, as well. The staff is friendly and eager to please. I would definitely stay here again.
We had a great stay our first time not stay on strip. Loved having all the amenities.
Our room was top floor on the freeway side and you can definatley hear the freeway noise. Still worth it. Overall, nice, clean, spacious and well-kept.Across the freeway from Mandalay Bay..not far from the strip (you will need to take resorts shuttle), but really in the ultimate location. DO NOT stay in North Las Vegas. For pets it's really nice. The cleaning fee was $100.00 when we were there so double check.
We stayed there for a week in January, 2008. We were attending a trade show in the Mandalay - but prefer to avoid casinos, so found this property. It was about a half mile from the Mandalay Bay Convention Center- we could walk there faster than from other nearby hotels on the strip, as we didn't need to go through hotels to get there. They also have a shuttle for service to Mandalay and other spots on the Strip. The facility itself was clean and comfortable. The breakfast and evening light food is always a convenient plus in our minds. They also have a hot tub which was wonderful after a long day of walking the trade show floors. The no-smoking policy and complete lack of a casino and slot machines gave it very high marks in our book. We just booked our room for our return in January 2009. We would highly recommend this to anyone else wanting an alternative to the casino scene in Las Vegas.
Highly recommended. Had a comfortable stay. We were welcomed by the manager that day. Had traveled from far and had arrived early morning. And even though check-in was not until 3 pm they were able to accommodate us and let us check-in earlier. Even fed us breakfast that morning! Safe environment. Would certainly come back again.
The staff was amazingly friendly and helpful.
The room was more and better than I expected for a basic room. All the amenaties were excellect, bedding and furnature was excellent. Everything was great during checking-in and sleeping, however at morning everything went bad. I disliked that the housekeeping staff. They constantly kept knocking on my door to see if I left. Check out is at noon, I put the "Do not Disturb Sign before going to bed because I like to sleep in. They came to my door at 8:35 and I told the young lady that I was here. She was polite and left. I checked the the sign and it was still there in the door's card reader. I hurried to breakfast becase they close at 930 which is very early. I had nowhere to sit becasue the dinning are was completely full, but I made a plate to eat in my room. Would be nice if trays were available. Housekeeping again came at 1030, she was polite and left and the sign is still in the door's card reader. Other than that my experience was good but when I left I felt as if I was hurried out to leave.
Next to the car rental return
Helpfulness of the staff. Size of the room. That the house cleaning ran a dishwasher for one coffee cup. Not green! Maybe downsize some of the refrigerators that do not get used by business people as much as families. Create a lot of noise in the room as well as heat.
No wifi in room
When we arrived they had messed up our reservation and we were given a single bed for 4 people, but we let the check in staff know and they gave us a different bed with no hassle. The room was pretty large and was a great place to chill a little and come back and crash after being out most of the night. The facility wasn't the most clean place in the world but it wasn't horrible. The casino downstairs is quite small and is filled with people who are gambling away money they don't have in the first place.
Close to the strip & cheap Older facilities, got our reservation wrong.
You get the best bang for your buck with this hotel. It is only a 3-4 minute drive from the strip and there is a shuttle that will take you to the strip every hour. Rick was the shuttle driver I dealt with the most and he was very friendly and informative. Nice pool area as well and the double bed room we stayed in was nice and spacious. I did not like the fact that for all 3 nights we stayed there our room was not cleaned once. One day they attempted to clean our room but the problem was it was 9 am and we were still sleeping. I asked them to come back but they never did. The hotel's exterior is a little outdated but if you don't plan on staying at the hotel much you'll be fine.
Staff was fine also a decent price, but you get what you pay for. .there's nothing but hookers, and homeless people in the hotel.
The room is spacious and clean. The bathroom is clean too and the showerhead is good. Everything is pretty standard and nothing fancy. Considering the price, it's a good alternative to Airbnb when you travel alone.
WiFi didn't work
The room was very clean and alot better than i expected. However Slow wifi and the door was super hard to open..
We booked this hotel for the 2016 SEMA show. The room is very spacious. Very adequate for 4 grown men. Room was tidy. Carpets needed a steam clean though. Close proximity to our destination and very ample parking. Bath towels were an issue. Always short.
Hotel con trasporte aeropuerto hotel y strip gratis lo recomiendo al 100% Buen hotel
Well its vegas!!! Only need room to change clothes and get my little 4 hrs of sleep after partying before driving home. It would have been nice to stay at one of the bigger casinos but with high resort fees and parking fees these days its ridiculous. Room was big, beds were sperated by a divider of some sort. Big counter space, had a fridge no microwave or coffee maker, or anything useful. It was $7 lyft ride to linq hotel, overall not a bad spot to sleep
Very clean and confortable nice and near downtown
The pricing was decent and close to convention centers. Mini fridge with lots of space in the rooms is a plus. Free wifi never works, no "business center," onsite facilities (restaraunt, casino) is a joke. Horrible smoking smell everywhere! A ton of people smoking it up int he casino, outside in the shuttle waiting area, even outside the "non-smoking" guest rooms.
Very clean and well accommodating hotel. Even greeted with a fresh baked cookie. Not the kind of hotel that tries to save money on air conditioning or skimp on the fine details. Complimentary breakfast starts at 700. Could be earlier but otherwise perfect and well provided.
It was clean and quiet.
Very comfortable airport with good airport shuttle service.
The staff was welcoming, recognized my status and the appropriate perks were provided. I had a problem with the schedule of the shuttle to the Strip - runs once every 2 hours - quite infrequent and had to wait for 45 minutes once to be picked up. Keep that in mind when booking this hotel!
Close to the McCarran Car Rental center (seriously 5 minutes away) so its really easy to drop off your car in a hurry or if you have an extremely early flight. Especially good choice if you've burned cash on a Strip hotel and need one last night before that early AM flight out. 24-hour Pool - no one was using it so its like you had it all to yourself. Its also kept clean and well-stocked with towels. Gym has an elliptical, treadmill and free weights. Close to outlet shopping and highways to downtown/Strip. Far from the Strip (but depending on your budget you may end up driving their every time anyways). Too quiet if you're looking for the party atmosphere of the Strip. Empty-feeling if you're looking for the ambience of a resort and people-watching opportunities. Not much else in walking distance, surrounded by office buildings and a Starbucks.
The enviornment was very positive and comfortable. The shuttle services to the strip was limited. The driver stopped pick up at 10:00pm on the Las Vegas Strip? Unbelievable!
convenient, near airport, complimentary shuttle and internet, comfortable bed, good service, accommodating, on-the-run breakfast available
