Great location, double glazed for noise outside, which is abundant as it's right in the city center. Air conditioner, Tv monitor which is also a computer screeen. I didn't expect carpets on floors and some surfaces in a 4 star hotel and in a hot country like Spain. It makes the rooms very stuffy. Also the bath quite claustrophobic, narrow, left very little room for movement in what it looked like more like a niche in a cemetery.
Discovered bedbugs before going to sleep. Had to pack up my belongings in the middle of the night and move hotels. Staff had said they were going to pass along my contact information to the manager. Days later and I've heard from nobody.
Great room, nice size, clean bigger bathroom than expected. Terrific restaurant with delicious coffee and pastries. We arrived well ahead of check-in and were graciously given our 2 rooms hours early with a smile. The street noise could be heard in room, somewhat.
Room was comfortable and great location Internet connection in the business centre was too slow!
Staff courtesy ,amiability .Clean enviroment
Location & comfort of the rooms. Concierges were very helpful General off hand manner of all waiters and bar staff.
The location was GREAT!!!!! One block away from main street, so quiet in the evening, and perfect during the day. I would definitely stay here again!!!
The location was good. The staff was not helpful at all. There was a long queue at both check in and check out. Upon check in we were not given any instructions about the breakfast that was included in our rate and consequently we needless paid twice for our meal. Since we had booked online, the hotel was "unable" to make restitution. I would never stay at this hotel again or recommend it. There are too many other wonderful options available in Madrid. establishment.
modern, centrally located. Able to get quiet ground floor room (no need to use elevator) location is in the Red Light District--many "characters" loitering about
The location and my room was cozy for a single occupant no cork screw in room -- minor
My boyfriend and I stayed here with extended family for a week. Great location, everyone that worked there was really nice/helpful and the rooms were great. So happy to have stayed here during our European adventure! Breakfast/buffet was not included in our stay but there are great little breakfast spots for a cheaper price right down the road from the hotel. workout facilities were a little older
Yes, there are several reasons that I will not return to this hotel. The hallways smelled of smoke and dog urine. The room's inside smelled of smoke and dampness. I felt the sheets were dirty. I thought the room was too small for the price.
This hotel is in a great location. It was easy to stroll around and see the sights and eat in great restaurants. Also, I felt safe here. The door is kept locked and is opened only by staff. The staff respect your privacy as well. This hotel should have a bar. The breakfast wasn't worth the 10 euros in my opinion. I hated the design of the shower! Impossible to have a shower and not flood the floor.
staff v friendly. good location. nice comfortable room. bikes one morning the shower was only warm, but that was fixed for remainder
hotel had a great central location near lots of great bars and shops.staff very good toilet had damp smell
Situation in Madrid, Internet access in Room No info on what number to call to get recpetion
Just a block or two from Plaza Mayor and Sol. Most points of interest and diverse neighborhoods. The breakfast service was excellent. I also respect well executed retrofitting of old, historic old buildings. Minor, did not get one of the rooms with a French balcony.
Free wifi, Centro, quiet, friendly, clean, exellent bed. Smelly pipeline, water on bathroom floor after taiking shower.
Fantastic position and really helpful and friendly staff
It was central placed in Madrid No
The location to the Plaza Major and Sol was perfect. The internet was reliable and accessible in the room. The showerhead was marvelous. The first room was very small and cramped, but after moving rooms, the second room was a bit more spacious.
The location was ideal, the use of the internet. The breakfast was very nice, tasty and fresh. No english speaking channels on the TV. The room was a bit small.
If you stay at hotel Petit Palace Alcala Torre you are at the best location to visit Madrid. Hotel staff is very helpful.
very close to the centre , good value for money , nice room beed too small for 2
Close to everything, nice and modern! Never got hot water in the shower it was just "warm"
Location. For a tourist on a very short visit to Madrid this hotel was very centrally located with the Grand Via, Puerto Del Sol, Prado Museum and Plaza mayor all within a reasonable walking distance. The inclusion of breakfast in the price was a real bonus - the selection was vast a kept us going for the day This was very much a business persons hotel. The family room seemed to be an after thought - it was very small, dark with one corner window. To accommodate a free standing wardrobe the room light switches were almost completely covered.
Free high speed internet, shower, locality to subway/centre.... Lifts were insanely small
location was exelent the size of the room was extremely small and the door key malfunction constantly
Exellent hotel and excellent location tiny elevators
The rooms, the laptop, facilities and location in general.
The staff was extremely friendly and the location was great. We had a room without a window. I recommend that if you stay at this hotel, ask for a room with a window. M
Location , bathroom Bed was not comfortable, and makes sounds (skweeks). Elevator is very small. No one helped us with the luggage.
The location One of the rooms was very dark, and had a permanent bad smell
Only location was good Room was very small, dark with no necessary facilities for a family only one chair, the worst I had
In the center of the city Clean modern rooms Professional staff
The rooms were nice, and the hotel was very central and very clean. The staff when we booked in were not friendly, although the staff, when we checked out (different people) were very friendly. The bathroom although it was beautiful and spacious was freezing, as there was no heating in there.
A nice hotel in a great location
The hotel is right in the middle of everything. Very helpful staff. Easy walk to sites and dining. Very affordable and convenient Nothing about this hotel that I can say bad.
extremely good location, right next to metro station, near placa del sol to the south and fairly close to the main park and prado museum to the north. The price was good. interior room but still noisy, AC didn't work well, no view
The location of hotel
very good location,staff friendly,
The newly renovated rooms are every nice. When we first checked in though, we were given a room on the ground floor, right next to the office with two single beds. This room was quite crappy and old, and there was renovations going on directly outside the window. We asked for a room with one bed, and were given a much nicer room higher up and on the back side of the hotel. The older rooms are quite crappy, and I would not have stayed in that. Also, being winter, the A/C is turned off. But, it's hard to open the window, so our room was quite hot. An there was no working fan.
Its central location The price of food & drinks
Big room, great localtion, low price
Very nice hotel exactly in the center of Madrid, quiet and very nice furnished, it was a pleasure to stay there!
Cleanliness, hotel staff and location Everything was perfect. I'll recommend to my family and friends.
Location, Location and Location Cable TV was only in Spanish and German. Bathroom has no proper shower screen or floor drain, so that water go everywere. The room was at the back with no views.
good Hitec hotel, good breakfast, ' quite and exelent location
Good and quite location, high tech rooms with laptops, nice breakfast and helpful staff at the reception with fair English. There was a technical problem with the room cards, we had to activate them several times each day from the reception desk to be able to open the room doors. But it is bearable when considering the all other good service and faci lities.
Location, hotel staff.
Quiet in a central location. Everything was great and I really loved the balcony....
1. Great location 2. clean and organized 3. Very good hotel staff
I liked the interior decoration and the central location. And the sound proofing of the windows. No noise from the square at night. Some of the rooms (the one we used) are quite small.
Great staff. Courteous and accommodating. The room had stained carpeting and it had loose tiles and fixtures in the bathroom. The dining area for breakfast was also a bit run down. Overall the hotel needs some work.
The location, the design, the cleaniless No coffee or tea available even in he lobby.Toilet and bathroom separated only by a thin glass wall from the bedroom. The glass door of the toilet is not even closing: there is a space dow and on the side. No intimacy possible. Also We got two beds and we wanted one bed.
Nice hotel but small room. Good location.
Very pleasant personnel, nice and clean bathroom with modern accessories. Perfect location - close to all the main sighseeing places. Room is rather small with not enough places to put the personal things (not a sinle bedside-table). Slight smell in the room as if it used to be a smoking one. Glass door to the bathroom which is not very closing very tight - so the room is defenitely not for romantic stay of a young couple.
location, quietness, comfortable and stylish room
Modern style and street view room!
The location of the hotel is good that it is closed to Sol metro / train station. However, there are many other hotels available at that area. 1) furniture&facilities are old; sliding doors of carbinet & bath can't open/close properly. 2) Hotel staff tidy up the hotel room everyday but not change the bed sheet and towels. At my arrival day, one bath towel is still wet at hotel room. 3) We are assigned to a room without computer. After request, hotel staff re-assigned another room for us with computer available. However, we can't open the room door and we returned back to the receiption and ask for help. We on and off tried opening the door and returned to reception repeatly. Finally, we found that the door lock actually can't function properly. So, we requested to change back to the first room even without computer. The staff are then black-faced.
The location is really good!! Yhe staff look always to be tired and do not give attention to the guest.
the location was great near the big place del sol .... shopping and restaurants are very close
CEntral location for a nice walk around the city It could have been more clean!
staff were lovely. nice sized rooms Difficulty parking around there. would have been nice to have parking information concerning this hotel
Great place for getting around in the city. Had plenty of room for 6 people with two bathrooms. Great value for money! The breakfast was great, too!
Location, asked for interior room high off the street and the noise wasn't a problem There was a musty smell
Contempory look, clean, very convenient location. The bathroom had a glass door!
The location was perfect. It was very close to everything I wanted to see. The staff was very helpful in providing a map. The bathroom was one of the best. Nice shower. I was not a fan of the room. It had no windows and was clausterphobic. It also was very noisy. Breakfast was a little weak compared to the other facilities traveling around Spain and Italy.

Great location. Friendly bi-lingual staff. Upper floor rooms have large balconies with views to Puerta del Sol. Laptop in the room. Decor is starting to get tires. Pieces of trim missing from the walls. Walls were dirty, with handprints. Room smelled badly. I had to sleep with the door open to the balcony, which made for a noisy night, since it sits right on the pedestrian area in a bar district. I think another room would have been fine.
good breakfast.flexible arrangements let us store our luggage. relaxed feel to hotel. very goodlocation
The location ! The room !
Location is perfect. Rooms are very small and very hot. Cannot control the temperature.
Location is the main feature. Most attractions are within easy reach The room for 4 was a bit smalletr than expected and the use of bunk beds for adults is not recommended.
Location Noisy from outside
Very central location, good buffet breakfast. Very warm and stuffy - even in March. Needs air conditioning - essential in summer.
Good location The room was too hot, and the heating could not be turned down, when we opened a window, the room filled with cigarette smoke.
I shared with my brother and we had a lovely sized room. The shower was one of the best in Europe! No hot water/tea/coffee making facilities in room
Location was very central. Very comfortable hotel, spacious and well maintained. Staff very nice and one particular barman was very helpful. No tea or coffee making facilities and my wife was not impressed with the hair dryer as it just burned your head instead of drying hair.
Four star hotel at a very reasonable price I met the manager James and he was very helpful and friendly and very young. I was at the hotel lfor 10 days and had no complaints. Miquie and German who preped the breakfast were very cordial and polite and smiley and the coffee was good too .... Good thing there was no noise the hotel is on a quiet street even can't hear the neighbors next-door......
location...hall..friendly staff rooms are small,,,internet costy
Clean, modern accommodation, well-tended by maid service, very comfortable bed. Service at the desk was very helpful and they were very attentive, spending as much time as I wanted for information and suggestions. Comprehensive breakfast buffet for 13 euros. Location in the center of Madrid is really excellent—close to main Metro stop and most sights within reasonable walking distance. Oh, and the shower was luxurious! Not much to fault at all. In fact—no complaints at all.
Great location, good rooms for sleeping, friendly employees... No "view" at the back of the hotel but we only went in to sleep so no problem.
The hotel location was great. Walking distance to many of the major sites of the city but on a quiet street near lots of good shopping and eating places. Our room had a smokey smell when we first arrived. Management offered a room switch but since we didn't want to change, they had the room sprayed and the next morning had all bed linens changed. After that the room was fine.
very nice, comfortable and spotless rooms
We loved the room, great big bed and lovely heated bathroom. Excellent choice at breakfast and the location couldn't be beaten. Had a lovely time! Great for our anniversary!
We had a complaint and it was dealt with immediately The first room we were given on the 5th floor was very noisey. So we were moved to a much nicer room on the 1st floor
The balcony from our room was an added bonus. It was nice to use to enjoy a bit of the sun. Also the breakfast was great, with a lot to choose from. It was quite warm in the room and you couldn't adjust the temp.
Staff was friendly and helpful and became personable as you started talking to them. It was a great little find. The place was somewhat difficult to find. I walked past it 3 times before realizing where it was.
so good hotel..nice staff..perfect position soundproofing problem
Very nice refurbishment of centuries old building.
Awesome location, cleanliness and facilities.
To be near to the centro of Madrid and sol metro. Best restaurants and bars.
The hotel looks fantastic, location is excellent, and our room wasn't noisy at all. Liked the traditional breakfast at the nearby bistro. The bathroom was too small, and the toilet provided no privacy (e.g. thin, glass walls).
toothbrush & toothpaste, razor & shaving gel provided hot water did not last for more than half a minute. only warm water came out afterwards. i had to a quick shower in warm (or nearly cold) water in winter time.
It is in the heart of Madrid The breakfast situation is odd.
The shower was nice but unfortunately the drainage system could not manage the flow of water so this gave a flood in the bathroom, very slippery, and running into the bedarea.I really "enjoyed" the fact that prices on the hostel's website where cheaper (10%) than via booking.com!!! -the very noisy street which makes a good sleep impossible -the extremely rude and arrogant behaviour of the lady-receptionist after we had asked for a quiet room; she was not willing to give us a room at the backside of the building with a window-view; only one without a view which meant that you had a grey slade roof of another building right in front of the glass of your window- --the cheap "trendy" Ikea furniture with only one upright chair to sit on and narrow bed (3 ps room)
High quality rooms/suites in a buzzing central location. Most helpful staff (English speaking). Older folk might find the neighbourhood noisey.
To connect TV channels in Russian All is OK!
It doesn't look like much from the outside, but the room was fabulous! Modern, super-clean, black & white mod interior, wow!
Free wi-fi in the room. Good location. The room was too small.
Very nice location.Walking distance to main attraction.10 mins drive from Real Madrid station.Cooperative staff.Great stay. Recomended .Ronojoy Family room ,pretty small. No view.Surprising the bathroom door was full glass. It is difficult with family and kids.Had to stick paper around to cover. This is really not convinient. However can be solved with some artistic paper sticking.Bunker bed in family room.Could have been double bed for the money given.
The location of this hotel was perfect. We were easily able to navigate the city from our hotel. The room was very comfortable and clean. The breakfast every morning was also wonderful. The room was much smaller than anticipated. It was not much of an issue as we spent most of our time touring and not in the room, but it was surprising upon opening the door.
The hotel was centrally situated in the city not far from the metro stop Gran Via. It was easy to access many shops and it was easy to walk to many of Madrid sights from the hotel. The hotel was on a small side street so there was no noise from passing traffic. It was clean and the staff were very friendly. The rooms were spotless and for the price a good size and offered a wonderful shower room. I would definitely stay here again.
breakfast noisy doors
Location, close to Gran Via. No parking and no drop off area in front of the hotel. Necessary to use public parking close to the hotel. Despite of discount for hotel guest it cost over 20 euros per day.
Location was very good, close to many major subway stations. On a lane off Gran Via (major road), so not too noisy. They gave us a smoking room despite our request for non-smoking for the first night of our stay.
Hotel was adequate but I feel there are better for the price in the area The rooms are dull and unwelcoming and service is minimal.
The staff was very helpfull and hotel was quiet as is side street even if close to Gran Via Our room was under the roof so we couldn't stand straight in one part of the room.
the location of the hotel Rooms are too small, decoration and lighting too gloomy
The hotel was extremely clean and had great amenities. It was a great selection for a European Hotel. It was very modern and a pleasure to stay in. Also the location was close to all major sights.
Central position and, therefore, easy access to all parts of Madrid. Wonderful bathroom! the basement dining room - no natural light
location was very good and very quiet for being in the centre of madrid. some staff not friendly , for a three star hotel, all breakfast was self service including tea and coffee. Not much info for english speaking visitors, although of course tourist offices were good. Restaurant expensive for the style of food given compared with other places.
good location. Breakfast poorly served.
Everything worked Restaurant/bar closed a little early
location and staff very good
Neighbourhood Even I booked the room from feb 2008 they gave me a room with no view (just walls and stairs)
good location, excellent breakfast, comfortable. no internet facilities visible
The location and service was wonderful
Very good, central location, clean room, polite staff Slightly small room but it's OK.
Location Normal breakfast and if you go by car diffcult to load/unload lugage.
The location Staff were not friendly - receptionist not helpful
Good location for daily town excursions. The staff was chaotic and not very much experienced. It was a good place to sleep, but not so much to use it as a hotel with all anticipated services you would expect over the day.
Helpfull and polite staff, very good location, cleaness. The walls between rooms are thin and not sound-proof, the rooms looking to gran-via can be noisy but they've got a nice view.
Excellent position Central and near 2 metro Stations
The surroundings. Really in the middle of the centre. The room smelled. It was very clearly a "smookers room"
Ìt's location was fantastic, the hotel itself was perfect. Lovely lounge area and good breakfast selection No
Location Free WfFi helpful staff small bathroom thin walls dated room
Location was great close to 2 metro stations. The room was fine for a city break lovely white clean cotton bed clothes with room being cleaned daily. Hotel staff were helpfull, useful having a doorman when you need directions, felt very secure. Good that no extra charge was made for the safe we just had to use our credit card for access. Lifts were small - but not a real problem as we didn't have to wait long for a lift.
Great location - close to centre and Metro; clean room; helpful staff the room was rather small and not very comfortable, not sure it deserves its star rating
Location was excellent, and the hotel was very nice. Staff were friendly and the room was at a standard expected from a four star hotel. Clean, comfortable and good facilities. Bathroom was outdated but more than adequate for our needs.
Location and cleanliness of our room Very tiny elevators, expensive breakfast, so we ate in a lokal pub, for less then the half of the price then in the hotel.
The central location. The nice, clean and modern room.
It's centrally located, kind and informative staff and nice rooms for a reasonable price.
It is very conveniently placed for all the major sites, + the metro for airport access
Good location and very central for sight seeing / shopping Room could have done with a clean; there was a big ball of dust next to the bed.Walls quite thin and could hear people in the room next to me talking.
Awesome location right on the plaza Puerta de La Sol. Small rooms, but who goes to Madrid to stay in their room? Helpful staff, decent bathrooms, great value Rooms/beds a little small, not a huge deal though
Location, walking distance to everything and close to the metro station, this could be a like or dislike, but you have to leave your key at the front desk when you leave, and then just pick up at the front desk when you return. No risk of losing the key, so I liked this requirement no dresser for clothes, just one small closet, so plan on living out of your suitcase if you are traveling with a lot of luggage/clothes
Hotel was centrally located and convenient to everything. Beds were very comfortable. Breakfast had cereal, eggs, fruit, etc. Nothing.
all was nice nothing
Excellent location. Staff helpfull and professional. Clean, nice size room w/small balcony. Hot water lacking at times in shower
I liked the location in the heart of Madrid surrounded by places of interest, shops, restaurants etc. The room has rather big, clean and tidy bathroom which I like very much. The style is simple but pleasant and the building I think is of the begining of 20th century (or the end of 19th) and is rather pretty. The location on Plaza Puerto del Sol has the opposite side. Of course it's one of the main squares of the city but due to that it's never empty even at 4 o'clock of the morning. The people are talking rather loudly all night long and though they didn't shout and there was no disco etc but these endless talking under my closed window was enough not to let me sleep well. And they have a strange tradition in Spain to take away garbage at 12 or 1 o'clock of the night (even at 3 o'clock sometimes), and this process of cleaning is reall loud, it was like alarm clock for me. But if you have no problems with sleep or you are going to have an active night life than this hotel is perfect (if you're not in search of luxury of course). Good 3*.
Location, location, location!together with high quality and wonderful staff, great value, we had a wonderful experience! nop
Location could not be better. Staff friendly and accommodating. There was only one electrical outlet in Bedroom and one outlet in bathroom that was unusable due to mounted hairdryer. No way to charge phone/iPad,etc. Not good. It is a minimum space hotel.
decent size room ,good heating available in room when needed and a great location for shopping and sight seeing, breakfast was very good value
location AC too weak
Great location, Clean, great breakfast No Foyer to sit and relax with friends
Location, size of the room, comfortable bed Extremely cold room, freezing bathroom. Despite having the fan maximum temperature for more than 12 hours, the Room was really cold, the bed shits: poor , and the bathroom....a fridge. The restaurant is on the top floor and theres a little path roofless to get there. In spite of asking for late check-out and having the add on the internet, it was 12:00 the max check-out hour permitted. All in all, expensive for the services offered
hotel in the middle of Madrid it was very clean and staff all very helfull and friendly
The buffet breakfast was very fresh and well stocked. Staff were friendly. A bar and lounge area would have been nice. Not the hotels fault but there was always a busker playing on the street till early hours of the morning keeping us awake.
The room, although not large, had everything we needed. It was kept very clean with good shower and toilet facilities and it was an advantage having a balcony. Proximity to city centre was very handy. The breakfast lived up to expectations.
The hotel was in a great location and very close to Puerta del Sol station, also within walking distance of Grand Via. The room and breakfast were great. The shower drain would leak after we would have a shower.
The location, in the middle of middle of Madrid. The bed was very good. Bathroom big and good.To have a laptop free at the room! Two small balconys was good. The room was clean, the maid did a good job! When we were late to go out...she stayed longer, so she could clean after us. Very nice & thoughtful of her. Thanks a Lot!! My first visit to Madrid...and I will come back. Me Encanta Madrid :) It was cold in the room, think temperature didn't work, tried to turn it up, it went very cold in bathroom floor.Room could have been a bit bigger, with one more chair & table
Breakfast and location was great! Beds were not comfortable, room size was extremely small for 2 people.
The location was perfect! Small rooms and very poor breakfast, the breakfastbuffet was small and you did not get value for money, choose room whitout breakfast!
Nothing!!! The location & hotel was not as described on your website!!! The area is extremely noisy, dirty & dangerous. The hotel is a one star hotel with no soundproofing, small & dirty rooms that are beyond worn. We stayed at a different hotel in Madrid for only 15 Euros more and it was 500% better and in a beautiful area of Madrid. This hotel was a disgrace and noone should consider it a good option!!!
Very good location in the center at Gran Via and close to subway. Also very clean. Small room, but well planned. Noise from other hotel-guests, neighbours on other floors and traffic, but with ear-plugs no problem at all to sleep.
the position in the city noise in the night (coming from other guests)
Cleanliness of your room, new furniture view from the window
It was efficiently run and always clean. Staff responded to requests positively eg we wanted extra pillows & we were able to leave luggage at hotel after we checked out The desk in our room was wobbly and needed to be repaired. The entrance and stairs to hotel were seedy and in need of repair
Excellent location, right above the Gran Via. We can see great night view from our windows. The rooms were very clean, comfortable and well maintained every day. Good value of money. The receptionists' English were quite poor, the wirless signal cannot reach my room so I have to sit in the corridor with my laptop.
hotel staff is good and very helpful. i would definitely stay there again. the only thing is no mini bar in the room.
The location was excellent - literally steps away from Gran Via metro station. Yes, there were prostitutes in the street, but they are non-threatening and the street is sufficiently well lit to feel relatively safe. The staff were always available and spoke enough English to get by. I was in an inside room and the sound from other floors (the hotel is on the 6th floor) and other rooms was funnelled upwards to become very loud. People talking and laughing at 2 am and, once, a man vomiting at 04:14 in the morning. However, every small city hotel wil be noisy.
Freshly decorated, clean, comfortable room, good plumbing, hepful desk staff. So noisy because of the hard floors and heavy doors banging. I was exhausted when I got home because of lack of sleep. Carpets down the hallways would help as would gliders on the bottom of the chair legs and some sort of 'gentle close' on the doors. Also I suspect the only kind of 'non-smoking room' is one where the ashtray has been taken away - my friends room smelt of smoke when we arrived.
The room was clean and the hotel is in a central area. The sohwer was damaged and the flow of water was not enough.
Hostal Jerez is really well located, metro really close, there were some prostitutes in the street however it wasn`t dangerous at all.The hotel was really clean, they cleaned the room and change the towels every day.Staff friendly and helpful. There is no internet and no breakfast. Noisy but normal for a hostal in a city centre street.
the location is a little too noisy at night
Very central hotel, easy access to everywhere. Not a problem for us,but can be a little noisey at night.
Staff, location, price The area is very noisey and the room was cold at night
The receptionist was lovely and very helpful. She helped us with booking the Flamenco show. Although the walls were very thin, location was excellent! The walls are very thin. I could hear everything that was happening in the next room and heard every person walking along the hall. Also, we were on the 1st floor, where breakfast is served and I heard the clattering of cutlery and plates.
Silence at night
Location near the Puerta del Sol, so metro and buses nearby and (longish) walking distance to Prado and other attractions friendly helpful staff good (wired) in-room internet connection wonderful breakfast The downside of being near a huge public square and on a pedestrianized street is there is a lot of street noise until very late at night
central, kind staff, clean rooms super beds, good breakfast, very good restaurant in the same building.
Friendly and very helpful staff greeted us and made every effort to make us welcome.
Conveniently located, friendly & helpful staff, good standard of accommodation Quite noisy to late
very centrally located with friendly stuff and comfortable smoking room with free internet and large bath top. the street is quite noisy at night, even though sound proof windows help, if somebody has sleep problems won't be happy!!
Staff were friendly and helpfull hotel was clean. Would recommend for people wanting a budget hotel.
All staffs are very helpful and speaking English well. Very close from the center but safe. Wifi is free! I recommend to stay here in the weekend, you don't need to care of the way back to the hotel even in the midnight! They provide us only 1 towel a day...
Its position in center of Madrid. Clealiness. Nothing.
Location, in the middle od the movida noisy
The location was so perfect and easy to find right in the hub of great places to eat and walk
Very good price/quality standards (above expecxtations), clean and right in the center. Staff professional and polite. I recommend They do not have a lot of rooms ( just 15) better book in advance. Otherwise they could have a flat available in the same building, if you plan to stay a week or more, but as they are very nice I suppose they are booked well in advance too.
Location. Apartment was small and dark.
Super central, relationship between price/quality above expectations .Rooms better than a 3 stars hotel. And better than other hostals of Madrid which I stayed. no
Very nice room, hostel in the very centre of Madrid, an unusual elevator ;) I'd love to get back there one more time.
We got a free upgrade from a tripple room to a appartment! and you can't beat the location!
very good location, very close to matro Sol, ordered a single room but is offered an apartment with kithen, good value for budget travellers. the wifi is not stably working.
Excellent location, steps away from Puerta del Sol. Handy for morning walks to Buen Retiro.
Bathroom very nice and updated. Air conditioning. Very small room, hard bed.
Very good location for visiting Madrid Nearby disco, sometimes loud music heard in early hours
Friendly staff, very clear, near the metro station, just in the heart of the nightlife area
The rooms were very clean and comfortable. The location was very convenient to many of the major attractions, shopping, and restaurants. The staff were very friendly, helpful, and courteous. Our room was located close to the stairs and the door to the stairway made a loud slamming noise every time someone used it. This was very annoying at times.
Fantastic location, nice rooms, very clean. Breakfast was a little too simple for the price, some eggs would have been nice
The location is fantastic - right in the centre and Madrid with lots of good tapas bars around the area. We had an interior room so it was nice and quiet too. The room was perfectly acceptable, clean and with a good bathroom.
The location in Old Madrid was excellent. It was within walking distance of the metro, many restaurants, the Palace and the Prado. We were not able to get the airport shuttle from the airport to the hotel. We were able to take the aerobus to Plaza Cidibeles, but then had to walk 5 blocks to get to the hotel in the rain.
location, and value for the money spent. once i arrived the hotel proved to be an excellent place to stay.
Perfect location, next to Plaza del sol. Close to restaurants and night life. Room size is sufficient.Helpfull staff. It is in the middle of pubs, restaurants and night clubs. Good for young people and couples. For families and elderly people is might be a bit noisy.
This is a great little hotel in a fabulous location. Great staff. Would recommend. Internet didn't work as advertised. Breakfast poor.
