Friendly staff. Very good value for price.
The only good thing was the front desk staff. They were warm and friendly. Many people were complaining that the air conditioners were broken. Ours never worked the 4 nights we were there and we asked for them to fix it. They didn't repair it so they gave us a fan but even that was not efficient. The temperature outside was near 100 degrees every afternoon so the room was almost unbearable. The carpet throughout the halls was in horrible shape - torn, badly stained and worn. Our towels were old and frayed. The room was dark and dreary even with the window open. No elevator. The only good thing was the front desk staff. They were warm and friendly.
I had great service. The front desk was very helpful. The room was very cold and took a full day to warm up but the staff brought us lots of blankets or were willing to switch us.
The bed was comfortable. Close to the airport. The shuttle didn't run at the time I needed it for the airport, so I had to take a cab. The cab cost me $17.00! I could have just driven my car to the airport and paid less for the parking. Lesson learned.
My hotel stay was for 8 days. On day 6 the cleaning staff removed items from my refrigerator. Her excuse was that she believed I was a checkout. My luggage, 6 days of dirty laundry in bags provided from the hotel were on the chair, and a book and candy were on the table that she moved to clean the table. The management provided me with an apology letter and explained that this long time staff member thought I was a checkout. They locked me out of my room so upon my return I was forced to go to the front counter to pick up their apology letter, 6 warm sprites and 4 apples. I could not use these items because I had a plane to catch the following morning( I was leaving in 6 hours). While the items taken were less than $10 the fact that any item was removed from my room was worrisome. Needless to say I didn't sleep well the last 2 nights at the hotel. In their closing statement Julie Lofftus the General Manager says "I do appreciate your choosing us and hope that we will see you again in the future." I wouldn't recommend this hotel to anyone because nothing was done. I didn't receive a phone call from this manager. Up until this incident I would have given this hotel the highest rating.
Overall good location, well maintained room, nice service. Stayed there for a night before heading to Glacier National Park. Was able to rest well, have a good breakfast in the morning and hit the road.
The hotel was very convenient to what were looking for and the price was competitive The furniture. especially the beds needed to be replaced. They were excessively worn.
Very nice staff. Helpful staff! It needs cleaning, & updating desperately! The common hallways are horribly stained, the furniture is worn & stained, the blankets are worn & need replacing.
Nothing. The room smelled heavily of urine. The mattresses are old and well used. The hallway carpet was heavily stained, mainly from what looked like water damage... 30 or so years ago. It has obviously not been replaced for a long, long time. Other hotels in the area are way better at an equal price. Don't stay at this place if you want to enjoy your stay in Missoula - a trip there deserves better because it's a great town.
The rooms and lobby were clean, but the hallways and stairs were dirty , stained and needed replacement immediately.
Love the rooms, soaps and beds
The hotel was clean and comfortable and the breakfast was great!
Overall a great place to stay. Great location to downtown (walkable), clean hotel, and even with the room entrance from outside it feels safe. No have stayed here many times and will likely return. My only complaint on this visit was the lack of water pressure in our shower. It was so bad I felt it took me 20 minutes just to get shampoo out of my hair while the rest of me froze from lack of water left for my body.
Bed and room arrangement was very comfortable. Nice to have microwave and frig in the room Because I was in town to attend to a hospitalized family member, the 3 block walk to a local hospital was convenient. Eggs were overdone, bacon paper thin and everything including the hash browns were barely warm. Coffee on check in desk was OK but no trash bin for empty half and half cups. The beautiful location was spoiled by the untidy landscaping and litter of the grounds.
Close to all the breweries Breakfast was so so
We enjoyed our short stay and would choose to stay here again if we were travelling this way.
Good price for a reasonable room in downtown Missoula.
I liked the layout, and just how cozy it felt. No working fan for the bathroom.
The bed and bedding were ultra comfortable. The breakfast room was 1st rate, one of the best I've seen. The bathroom was very "hairy" and the room was a bit dusty. The shower head and water pressure were average to poor. We found the internet average to slow.
Enjoyed our stay at the stone creek after a long day of travel. Shower was great. Bed was comfortable. Room was huge. Price was right. Would return.
The staff was very helpful The only creamer they had was French vanilla. No plain liquid creamer for the coffee
Bed, location, staff...building... Tub was slow to drain..facility maintenance was addressing the issue..
The Cark Fork was right outside my window. The views and proximity of the mountains, campus and walking bridge helped make my stay even more inviting. The outdoor fire pits and sitting areas offered extra elements of relaxation. Plus, my bed was divine! Nothing.
Everything the staff was great! It was clean and comfortable with a free breakfast bar.. It was great!
The room itself was very nice for the price and the staff were friendly. However, this was the first hotel I've ever been in that doesn't have air conditioning-just central air. I need a fan at night and had to go down the street and buy one. That was my only issue.
Room was cool in the beginning...cold!
It was all around a great stay. comfortable, kid friendly, great breakfast, friendly staff, and affordable! I found popcorn around the base of the beds and we didn't have popcorn so it would have been all five stars if it wasn't for that. Maybe a little more checking the room. I would stay there again though.
Great Location and friendly staff!
Nice place, great location. I've stayed there many times.
Quiet. Quick check in. Nice staff. Excellent downtown location and adequate parking. There w nothing I didn't like.
The late night concierge was wonderful. Allowing many of us to hang in the lobby after hours so long as we didn't disturb the guests
This hotel is crazy overpriced. I really don't know what I got for my money. It's old and kind of gross and there's mold in the shower. All night there was a bizarre whirring noise. But it's a bed and it's near a tasty market with a yummy breakfast burrito.
Location. Shuttle service to airport. No free in room internet!!!! Really???? For the Price that is outrageous. Breakfast not included. Really???? We could have and should have stayed across the street for much less money. The front desk didn't know its butt from a hole in the ground.. I used Hilton because of the name value and recognition. We certainly did not get the value. I won't be coming back and will do further research the next time I book at Hilton.
Rooms were nice and very clean. Beds not as comfortable as expected. Need larger pillows. Easy access to airport. Will stay again.
Apparently a totally adjustable bed. Would rather just a good comfortable mattress. But Good thought. Very clean nice breakfast worth the money
Very clean hotel. Comfortable beds. Excellent location with close proximity to the airport and interstate. There was a bit of loud hallway noise, especially children running and a dog barking. Perhaps to be expected on a Friday night, but it was after 10:00 pm, and we were getting up at 3:30 am for an early flight. Luckily by 12:00 all was quiet.
Large room, good location and very quiet evening. Excellent breakfast. Strong smell of cigarette smoke in room. When we arrived back home even our clean clothes smelled of smoke. Told the desk people and all they said is that they would look into it.
Checking out a day early. The casino next door attracted really sketchy characters who smoked outside the casino and very near the hotel. I did not feel safe outside after dark because of the vagrants near the hotel and because of what appeared to be drug deals going down in the shared parking lot of the casino-hotel. Even though the hotel is completely non-smoking, employees smoked on the back patio of the hotel and the smoke came inside the breakfast room and the lobby.
Artived at 1 am after long trip with kids. Entered room at least 85 degrees. Heater left on high. Slept with window open all nite. Cool by morning . Locked truck with Xmas presents in back of truck under locked canopy. Asked front desk if it'is safe if locked in front of location ? No problem . We had parked in front lights on alarm set dog in kennel in canopy. We lost 1 brand new snowboard(present for daughter). And set of skis for wife. Not good experience
Very happy with the comfort & linens of the bed. Like that you are pet friendly & so did our dog. The kitchenette dividing the room was also great for our business meeting.
New, clean room, two beds. Kids loved the pool, Lenny (our black lab) loved the elevator. Great value for the miney
The kids love the waterslides. And the kiddie pool is really warm.
Just about everything. There were some slighty dirty spots on the carpet.
attempt to turn up heat resulted in heat not shutting off - - had to call for maintenance when room reached 84. Was offered a fan and told "repair" meant we wouldn't have hot water for several hours
Size of room Carpet was dirty dried food left on carpet and overall carpet was not vacuumed
Clean, comfortable, plenty of room for 4 in two-queen room. Water slides in pool were great for kids. Excellent location for getting to airport. No complaints.
Comfortable bed and room
Very quiet. Nice facility. It is a bit far from the downtown area, but an easy drive.
The room was clean and the bed was comfortable. Need better lighting in the vanity area and quiter bathroom fan.
Good price Staff was mostly friendly, but one young lady in particular was very rude to me for no reason every morning. The "free breakfast" is incredibly simple, and they WILL NOT let you eat if you get to it a minute after 10am (or even 9:58 in my case).
The pool was nice but the water was freezing cold. The beds were pretty comfortable. The door keys didn't work most of the time. The pool water was freezing cold.
I have seen better accommodation at Motel 6. Basic room, NO alarm clock or coffee pot, mold in the tub caulking, no TV remote. We called about the remote and when the front desk agent brought it he said WE would have to program it!!! We were desperate for a room so we took it. The most important thing though was we arrived late and the lamp connected to the light switch was NOT plugged im! I had to walk across the room in the dark - a HUGE SAFETY ISSUE. Besides that the breakfast was terrible. When I spoke to the front desk agent in the morning she listened but didn't offer any compensation, at $:204 after tax this was robbery so far as I'm concerned. I would recommend you sleep in your car before staying here See above
Good service and very clean. Wish there was a mini fridge in the room, and the coffee was always out during breakfast.
Staff was extremely kind and accommodating. It was quiet. Room was easily accessible. Room was close to downtown which made it easy to walk everywhere. One washer and dryer. Never was able to wash my clothes. Room smelled like cigarette smoke. Tub had issues draining.
Parking Breakfast had something to be desired
Friendly staff Decent rate Breakfast was okay, eggs and meat was lukewarm. Trains passing nearby throughout night. McDonald's restaurant RIGHT in main parking lot makes atmosphere more crowded feeling.
I stayed here for one night because my AirBnB wasn't immediately available. Basic, no frills room. Wasn't even in it 12 hours. Perfect for my needs.
We upgraded to a normal room and it was night and day compared to their budget rooms. We stayed the first night at one of their budget rooms. Horrible! The window was broken, the towel rack was broken, there was mold on the shower curtain and it smelled like smoke.
Price was decent When my son pulled back the sheets there was two pieces of hair in the bed. Not the maids. Dirty like other reviews mentioned.
Location By making my reservation on line it cost me an extra $26.00.
Location Parking, usually Very little hassle Staff were kind and helpful No light switch near main entry of room - when I arrived at 1am I had to feel around in the dark for a lamp Bathroom light switch had a sticky residue on it; same sticky residue was on the side of the TP roll, luckily there was a backup AC turned on (very loudly) but didn't work, and room was quite warm despite being 60s outside during the day and 40s at night But it was very cheap. It wasn't a rip off or anything. You get what you pay for.
Location Old run down hotel that days inn took over but has not upgrraded. Motel6 is nicer. Felt like sleezy hotel and dirty Worst days inn ever.
Nothing Undersized parking lot, filthy rooms and overall exterior, in a bad part of town as well.
Love the location! This hotel is also pet friendly for an affordable pet fee ($15 registered). The staff were warm and friendly and the amenities (breakfast, newspaper, etc.) were a plus. I try to stay here every time I'm in Missoula. One day I hope they fix the pool. It's a bit of a tease. :)
The location was great. We were there for a concert so we were within walking distance to a number of great restaurants and drinking establishments. The price was also very good in comparison to the other hotels located in the same area. Although the staff was absent from the front desk most of the time, they were friendly when they were present. The online purchase for the room stated we were getting a "queen" size bed but it clearly was a double. The air conditioner seemed outdated and it was so hot in our room, neither one of us could sleep. Our stay was in early April (in Montana), so it's not like it was the middle of summer and hard to keep cool. The stairwell that we had to use to get to the second floor was terrifying. The smells, stains and grime made me wish I'd worn thick boots instead of flip flops. Grrrossss!
The location is great There was no hot water at 6AM for a shower. The place is serviceable but ready for some upgrades. There is a train crossing right behind the hotel that must require 4 horn blasts from each train that goes through. There are a lot of trains that pass through Missoula
Good value for money, scenic location, friendly staff Nothing
location people walking around and drinking in parking lot most of the night.
