They have found their niche for having unique offerings like a spiritual and pillow menu. The staff was also very friendly and responsive. I enjoyed all aspects of my stay. No complaints.
Stayed at hotel for layover to catch early flight out of Nashville. Rooms in serious need of updating. Bed very uncomfortable. Staff was nice. Iconic layout ok if that is what one is looking for. Doors between rooms not insulated and could hear noise from adjacent room. Poor value but stayed only because Nashville booked up for CMT festival.
We had a concern for bed bugs in our room and asked for management to come check out the situation. No one ever came up. They did suggest we change rooms, but never heard another word. When I asked if the situation was resolved, there was no note on our stay and they said the room was rented out the following night. Very poor service with regards to this potential health issue.
- The front desk staff were always pleasant. Asked if everything was to my liking, smiled constantly, and were very knowledgeable. - The décor of the hotel is GORGEOUS. The lobby alone makes you feel like a rock star, but the rooms make you feel cozy. - I recommend using room service or going down into the in-house restaurant/bar. You won't be disappointed with any choice. I ordered brunch to be brought to my room and it was delicious. - They're pet-friendly! For only a small fee, I was able to bring my cat into the room with me. The staff didn't mind that I brought her litter box into the room either. The lovely lady that brought me the in-room brunch even got down and gave my cat some attention while I paid the tip. My minor complaints/suggestions: - I wish they'd provide a microwave and/or mini fridge in the room. That way, if you don't finish your food or drinks, you can store/reheat them. - I recommend to ask if the room they're booking you for is by the elevators. My room (which I booked online) was directly across from them and I could hear them. This didn't disturb me too much, but it might to a light sleeper. Extra tip: They are doing some light construction in the bldg. They let you know the hours that it'll be happening. This didn't bother me at all though. I was more than understanding. - I wish their parking lot accommodated for traveling movers. It was difficult to find proper parking for a Uhaul towing a vehicle. The lot was nicely lit (thank you!) but they may want to consider making a specific area for larger loads. There's plenty of parking for smaller/single vehicles.
Good location, easy access to highway. Clean room, good staff, quick check in, and bar in the lobby. All good features! What?
Stayed two nights, housekeeping didn't clean room.
Cleanliness, soft comfy beds, good food, police courteous staff No frige, not microwave, no hot tub, cable harder to operate
I literally don't have one negative thing to say. Super friendly front desk. Super cool decor. Super comfy bedding. Super nice toiletries. Super clean EVERYTHING....bathroom floor, tub, sink, linens, carpet, windows, remote control, ironing board cover....EVERYTHING was ridiculously clean (the cleaning staff must be crazy good). I actually miss it...that's weird, right?! Will ABSOLUTELY stay again anytime I'm in Nashville. Love love.
Staff was friendly! Cool artwork. Used to be a radisson. Hallways are kinda dim but that's about it.
The staff was very good and accommodating. We had 3 rooms and they were able to get 2 rooms next to each other and the other down the hall on the same floor. Everything was clean and safe. It is older. They have obviously made some remodeling efforts in the years. There was construction on the same floor as ours (but it did not impact our stay). The water pressure and water temperature was very inconsistent.
The rooms, décor, the art... Basically the environment as a whole had a European vibe which I liked about it. I love that it wasn't a huge chain like Marriott or Hilton. Those places have no character. This one does. Also, it seems to be the place that traveling musicians like to stay (no matter the genre). I'd recommend it to my friends with no hesitation. The restaurant has a very limited menu, is slightly rude when you call to ask them about it and is more expensive than it should be. Not a big deal since Nashville is loaded with awesome restaurants. Their loss.
Location Dirty everywhere, smell bad I founded cockroach in my room when I told them ,they did not even apologize once. I took a picture too.
The towels and bedding were clean. The bathroom was clean. There was a nice TV. The place was older and shabby. It is motel-style, with the room door opening to the parking area, which feels less safe for a solo female traveler.
The price point wasn't bad. The shower stopped working in the middle of the shower and there were bugs and a musty smell in the room.
Breakfast started at 6:30 am, which I think is too late. Plus, the person running the breakfast was not courteous or friendly.
AWESOME location. The room and bathroom felt very clean and comfortable. The air conditioner was fantastic and the bed was super comfortable. The breakfast area the next morning was very clean too. The area wasn't bad--I wouldn't go wandering around late at night necessarily, but it wasn't bad during the day.
Very nice and friendly desk clerk upon check in. Room was very nice and clean. Mini fridge was ice cold. Shower water kinda spit and sputtered at times and seemed like weak preasure.
Friendly desk staff helped us with a Business Center Ian's fax issue. The Bait and Switch location! I requested an airport hotel and this is what popped up, and the map view shows the airport runways. HOWEVER, it is a 3 mile taxi ride, since they do not have a shuttle service and do not have a restaurant. Disappointing!
breakfast, cleanliness pool, construction
Stayed here for one night while passing through Tennessee on the way to Colorado. Room was perfect for just that reason. Clean bathroom, comfortable beds, friendly staff. About 5 minute Uber/Taxi ride from downtown Nashville. Free parking, lots of space. This hotel is good for one or two nights just passing through. Probably wouldn't stay there longer than that.
Location was good Run down. Even though they are renovation, they have a lot to do.
Hotel staff very knowlegdable with the area. Great personality the clerck had.
The staff was very nice and helpful! The breakfast was very good! The bathroom door in the room squeaked, and the drain in the shower didn't drain very well sometimes.
This guest did not leave comments about this hotel.
Staff were great and the breakfast was quite good.
It was close to Bridgestone Arena. Good breakfast. The coffee maker in my room did not work. Why do they give 4 guests 3 towels and washcloths??
Reservation wasn't there for one of our nights so we got shafted into going down the street at 3AM after a 7 hour drive. Bathroom ceiling had mold and the beds weren't that comfy. To top it off the pool was closed and it was 95-100 the whole time we were there. They have an ice machine, but they cut us off and we couldn't even fill our cooler to keep our food cold because the mini fridge couldn't fit it all. The room is outdated especially the tv that's thicker than the walls. The worst part I would say hands down was the AC. It blew cool not cold air and the room was not comfortable to be in for more than a half hour. It was only nice after coming in from the high heat. If you don't have to don't stay here. We only stayed here because it was cheap and the trip was planned on short notice. Spend a little extra cash and stay somewhere nicer, trust me it will be worth it.
Location was good for going downtown. Room smelled, bathtub needed a good scrubbing--decided not to take a shower. Edges (perimeter of room)needed to be spring cleaned. An old motel that needs updating but was looking for cheap price. Got what we paid for.
Staff was helpful. The floor near the sink was wet the whole time we were there. Did not have a fitted sheet. The pool was cleaned.
location very dirty and infested with roaches
We've stayed here several times. The most recent room was nicer than other rooms we have stayed in, particularly the televisin, dresser, and the air conditioning unit worked better. I liked the fact that the guy remembered me from previous stays. Staff was not at the front desk when we arrived. It took about 5-minutes of calling and knocking on the locked door entering the front entrance. They lock the lobby at 9pm and we arrived just after 9pm. Other than that, all was well. Room was clean, bed was clean, no bad odors, we will continue staying here if every experience is like the last.
Nothing positive about this experience. Dirty, smelly, wet carpets, worn through sheets, bad food, strange service.
Nothing. The power went out at the Super 8 so they moved me to the Days Inn a block away. The Days Inn was TERRIBLE. Customer Service/Experience: The clientele were sketchy. The owner/manager did not speak English very well. Room: It's almost like they tried to make the room as bad as possible. It was a smoking room (the only one they had left- I didn't have a choice of non-smoking). The carpet was damp around the AC unit- I presume it broke a couple days earlier and leaked everywhere. The bed's headboard appeared to be torn off the wall. It was clear no one had bothered to fix it. One of the lamp shades was broken, and the other didn't turn on at all. I imagine someone high on drugs flipped out and went on a rampage in the hotel room. Who this hotel is for: junkies, prostitutes, and the like. I DO NOT RECOMMEND.
Price Beds, room, checking in - wouldn't let us in the lobby! Payed for a non smoking room but it smelled horrible!!!!
Nothing ! When we arrived there, I couldn't believe how run down the place look compared to the pictures. When we went in to cancel our reservations, the guy in the front desk had black meth. teeth, when we went back to our car we noticed prostitutes & drugies hanging around the room doors, that were outside.
Bed was comfortable in room microwave and fridge walking distance to waffle house but not really walkable through a field. TV didn't work a/c didn't work pool green and closed rooms sort of clean if you didn't look in the corners or under furniture. Cont breakfast, bare minimum. 2 cereals 1 waffle machine with long line $ coffee pillows were awful only available outlet was worn out. The plugs wouldn't stay plugged in.
The overall convenience factor was nice, you could hop right on I-40 and it was a short trip downtown We consistently did not have hot water to take showers. When I say no hot water I'm talking about completely cold water. Also pretty much every outlet was "loose" in the room meaning no plug would actually stay but rather just fall out, making charging phones or blow drying your hair practically impossible. Management gave us a discount for the water issue but I don't believe it was equivalent to taking ice cold showers all weekend.
I probably wouldn't go here if it was it was my last line of defense during a zombie apocalypse.
Able to check in early A little sketchy
The hotel overbooked so we did not have a room upon arrival. Had to end up getting a room somewhere else. Hotel was not up to normal standards and would not recommend to anyone to stay.
Worst place I stayed at by far. The entire building seemed like it would collapse at any point.
The only thing nice about it was it was 15mins from the city but it wasn't worth it to stay there. The room was disgusting. Dirty, smelly, and had spiderwebs everywhere. Even found a little spider in the bed. It was so bad booked for two nights and couldn't stay there the second night.
Bedding was stained
Ok price, would not have paid anymore for this room! Carpeting was stained, holes in the shower curtain. Was in a pretty sketchy area. Probably will not stay there again.
Not being killed The buildings were falling apart, there were body hairs from the previous guests, the bed was broken, black mold growing in the ceiling of the bathroom, no hot water in the shower, the management didn't set up the continental breakfast, TV was broken, oh and the police were at the hotel around 11pm. I'm generally pretty hard to offend but this was the worst hotel I've ever stayed at. Pay the extra money and go somewhere nice.
Coffee was only thing good WiFi no work even after 2 calls to office. ,tv remote no work, beds sag and wobble on frame, lots of noise at night. Kayak should take this place off their list!
Location was good. Everything else I've only stayed at one model worse than this one. We will NOT return.
Close to highway We only needed a room for sleeping. After the Checkin process where gentleman was asking all of my info aloud in front of another guest, we get to our room and the bed had been used, comforter was in bathtub, half full water bottle in room and toilet seemed recently used too. The room smelled like it had recently been smoked in (even though it was a non-smoking unit) and this property was downright disgusting. We asked for clean sheets and made the bed ourselves so we could sleep a few hours before continuing our drive.
Extremely dirty, terrible neighborhood, felt extremely unsafe, so cancelled 2 of 3 nights reserved and moved to a different Days Inn location in Nashville. (No money was refunded either, of course.)
Rooms are clean. Beds are comfortable. Cleaning staff and breakfast hosts were very kind. We were given our room keys in which there was already someone staying. Walked right in on a very obviously taken room with clothes and bags everywhere. This could've easily been a bad situation if the person thought we were breaking into the room. Now instead of a king bed room that we paid good money for, we were given a 2 queen bed room which we did not ask for, reserve or have any choice over. We were promised that a refund would be processed for the mistake and that they were very sorry for the inconvenience. Nothing has happened, not a single word has been spoken or mentioned at all since that same night about any kind of reimbursement. If someone walked into my hotel room unannounced I know it would not end well. This could've been a very dangerous situation especially considering the part of town that the hotel is located in. We didn't pay $350+ to Best Western for this kind of error with no effort to fix it at all except give us a sub par room that we didn't reserve. The only upside of the hotel is new renovations so it's clean, comfortable, and majority of the staff we ran into were kind.
Helped with Uber rides. Clean and friendly. Too far to downtown. Noisy neighbors. In the hallway woke us up at 5:00 am.
The complete package. I couldn't find any fault.
Price Location, Area,
Location was a few miles out of downtown, $12 cab fare to get to the center of downtown. Front desk staff called a cab for us, we thought they might have a shuttle but they did not. When dropping us off the cab driver told us the motel was in a, "bad part of town, don't leave your room until morning." The jacuzzi jets didn't work but we liked the room anyways. There was a king bed and a pull out couch so could sleep up to 4 comfortably. Doors had extra dead bolts so I felt very safe. We saw one adorable stink bug type insect, but we let him hang out inside because it was cold outside.
I saw cockroaches in my room
