The bed was fairly comfortable
The hotel could have been updated
No breakfast but had a Cafe downstairs we could buy snacks, coffee and dessert. However, it closed early. If it stayed a little later, we would prefer to buy from the Cafe than order room service.

Location and comfort
A tad cleaner
The location
The room was disgusting. There was mold all over the bathroom and what appeared to be blood on the bathroom wall
The beds were super comfortable, the location was very convenient.
I didn't realize there was a hidden resort fee. It was disappointing to have to pay an extra $40 per night. The temperature in the shower kept fluctuating from super hot to cold. Sometimes it was just a cold shower.
Large clean rooms.
Ok lacked value
Large rooms AMAZING staff. Tons of outlets in room
Room was tired and worn. AC unit noisy and ran constantly without much impact on temperature. Wallpaper peeling and old. Just didn't feel like I had spent 200$ a night for the place. $30 per day "resort fee" really should have been disclosed at booking. Since I wasn't going to use any of the facilities, I basically spent that money of WIFI access.
Overpriced Nightmare
The location was good. The people we interacted with were nice.
While the staff was nice, they didn't do a darn thing. A smile and a kind word does not make a bed. I know this because one day we came back to a room that hadn't been serviced, reasons still unclear. We became quite close to Terrance, the front desk agent at night. Pleasant as can be, but it took 3 calls to get some towels delivered. We asked for tissues, and no joke- were handed a wad of tissues. Guess the boxes are for special people? Shampoo is also held in the vault. The fan in the bathroom didn't work so everything just steamed up. The shower was broken and given it's a wall of glass, it's a serious safety hazard. It also meant the water just poured out of the shower and puddled on the floor. A real problem when you can't get an extra towel. The wallpaper is peeling up and there was mold, likely do to the broken vent. The window in the room was broken. We figured it was safe with our son cause it really wouldn't open, but it also didn't quite close. The black out curtains were the dirtiest thing I've ever seen and had large (obvious) rips in them. Oh, and to top it all off they did maintenance on the plumbing and shut off the hot water. Guess how I found that out? Nope, not through a phone call or a note slipped under the door. But only once I was in the shower and the water just wouldn't get hot. I paid over $300 a night for this. I will literally never return to this location, nor will I stay in another Crown Plaza.
Very expensive
Water pressure in shower not good.
Holiday in NYC
A central location
The hotel was overpriced for the general facilities on offer. Pay 30 dollars for a fridge when I'm paying x hundred a night? Kidding? No real dedicated space for guests to relax. Free wifi was not free as it was within service charge. This pricing policy really took facilities down to equivalent of a 2 star hotel or a B and B! Reception staff had an unhelpful attitude. This was on complete contrast to our stays in Boston and DC. Wholly unimpressed. it was almost like the abrasive attitude of Tines Square had pervaded the customer service.
Location it's excellent
Staff at restaurant was horrible. Un professional rude.
Beautiful food, amazing views, brillant location, comfortable bed, spacious rooms,
The breakfast buffet was limited and could be improved with hot food. The shower could not always hold a constant temperature.
The hotel was central to everything.
Extremely central location. We upograded to the corner room which was a great size, with plenty of space, something which is hard to get in a Manhatten hotel.
The cost of the wifi access was ridiculously expensive. $15 a day per device, so if you use a computer, n iphone and an Ipad that would be $45 a day which is crazy. Instead we just went around the corner to Starbucks who give free access, the hotel are definately pricing themselves out of the market on this one,
The location was perfect for us and the accommodations were everything I expect in a hotel. All the comfort and cleanliness of home. I will reserve a room with Crowne each time I visit NY.

from our arrival, staff were very efficient and helpful. Rooms suited our needs perfectly and was an ideal base for a family holiday in NYC

Every thing that had been promised occured exactly as we expected. We love America and Americans, and from the moment we got off the plane everything was easy, simple and pleasant.
We do not tip in Australia and as a result we find it inconvenient to continually pay for services such as carrying bags when it is really something I prefer to do myself. It is a different way of doing things, and of course we travel to places to experience just such differences, but it different from what we expect. We would expect an employer to pay their employer a just wage that does not need to be augmented. I would prefer to just pay more for everything and not tip.
Very clean hotel really friendly staff
The tax we had to pay checking out was apalling it was over 300 euro on top of the price of our stay
