Location is good, right next to sporting venues and downtown. Room was clean and bed was comfortable and the lobby looked nice. Charging to use the internet and the gym/pool is ridiculous, absolutely ridiculous. How is it that Motel 6 gives free wifi at most locations and the Hilton wants $10 per day to use the internet? They also charge for the use of the gym and pool, which didn't even have drinking cups for the water cooler. The hotel staff and I also have different definitions of what "city view" means. I had a great view of a freeway offramp.
The bar and multiple seating options around the hotel make it great for socializing . Service is slower and they seem short staffed in all areas Late getting into out rooms because house keeping was behind They gave us 2 free drinks and 2 free meals so we had something to eat and drink During the 90 Minute wait
cookie particles was not cleaned in the second day. cleaning has not parfect.
Front desk and breakfast Everything was good
would stay there again and would recommend it to my friends and family
the entire staff was most helpful and friendly
This is an awesome hotel and we love that it is connected to the Quest Center for concerts! It would be nice if it had some kind of complimentary breakfast with as much as it costs.
rooms are good size, bed is comfortable. could be cleaner - for instance, clean the telephones!!!
I liked the staff, they where really friendly and super helpful. I did not like, I b the other hand, what they had to offer for such a high price... even super 8's have free WiFi and complimentary breakfast to their clients.
*great restaurant *good looking front lobby and courtyard *very spacious room! *nice new bathroom *comfortable bed *quiet *nice staff and service *hallways were a little darker, but not a problem
The hotel is a beautiful old building and is very welcoming. The bar/lounge was awesome with a wonderful menu and efficient waitstaff. The bedding was luxurious and comfortable. The bathroom was beautiful but didn't have much space for toiletries or towel racks.
Wide corridors, comfy bed, tall ceilings. Good breakfast buffet, cookies at night, friendly staff perfumy smelling lobby
Free beer and cookies! A sliding door to the bathroom that doesn't block any sounds. Housekeeping knocked on all the doors of my floor at 8 am in the morning every morning.
Fairly priced. Clean rooms for the most part. Unique styling like a boutique hotel. The staff was friendly and helpful though did not bother asking how our stay was when we checked out. The on-site free shuttle was very convenient, drivers very friendly. Had a happy hour and late night cookies and milk which we missed but is a nice touch. Rooms are very noisy - AC was rattling all night. I could hear everything going on in our neighbor's hotel room (moving hangars, flushing toilet). Windows were obviously cheap - did not keep sound from the street out whatsoever.
Comfortable beds - nice clean rooms - Staff very polite and helpful. no frig in room better selection of channels on TV Little pricey More selection on menu
Everyone was super nice and helpful. The shuttle guy was super nice and accommodating.
Go to the historic old town try Berry and Rye for a drink check out all the old aricitecture and we are at 801 Chop House where they said Warren Buffett ate a coume days ago...great staff
The room was clean and well-appointed. Noise wasn't too bad, although there was a good bit of activity in the hallways. Bed was quite comfortable. The building itself was lovely. The shower leaked all over the floor (obviously a design flaw, not something wrong), and that made the tile floors amazingly slippery. The breakfast was mediocre at best, although the coffee was reasonable. My partner compared it to mess hall food from his Army days.
Airport shuttle. Random charges on my credit card in excess of the $100 hold that nobody disclosed before booking. Also, no bath mats.
Grand old building. Updated bathrooms. Breakfast in the morning.
The decor was very unique, especially with the options of other hotels in the area. The staff was great and always right at your service. We loved the shower too!
This hotel has the most comfortable beds, deluxe shower, friendliest staff, cleanest, warmest, best we've ever stayed at in Omaha. A couple of unpolished surfaces in shower (roof leaks).
everyone was nice it was affordable and they treated us like kings
I loved this hotel. Room was spacious and comfortable and well appointed. Bathroom was great. Internet was fast and easy to sign onto. Location fantastic. Exercise room had high quality machines and dumbells and kettle weights. Staff super friendly. I liked it all.
Large, clean rooms, awesome shower, and cool historic feel with modern decorations. Really nice mixed drinks in the room as well. Wife and I loved it and will come back whenever we are in Omaha. Price of Valet is offset by how cheap the room was -- incredible value.
Super cool interior decorations in the lobby, lounge and especially the rooms!! Do not miss taking a shower, they are amazing. Unfortunately their check-in system was down when we got there so we were delayed getting into our room. Also, their valet service is a bit slow. But nothing to not rate it 5 stars overall.
We felt like we were treated like queens. We've never experienced valet parking. So fancy! The rooms were beautiful. The lobby was gorgeous. Thomas spoiled us and was so nice. Conner drove us everywhere we needed. What a great service. Would have loved to stay longer. The Old Market location was wonderful and we loved the historical aspect. I highly recommend Hotel Deco! The shuttle will take you anywhere you need and pick you up. Only downfall is they didn't have a GPS and got a bit lost. Nothing too bad though. Well worth the extra minutes on our drive to not have to worry about parking!
Great location. Modern décor. Historic building with neat attributes Very warm in the common areas
Great staff, easy parking, terrific room service, excellent for business.
The hotel was clean and modern. The location is great, walking distance to shopping, and dining. The room had temperature control issues, the hvac fan continually turned on and off and was not quiet. The hotel was understaffed and those working were not friendly due to being over worked. We had to wait an hour after the scheduled check in time b/c our room was not clean and ready when we arrived. I felt it was overpriced for a Monday to Tuesday one night stay.
Fair price, clean space. A bit noisy in the evening. Outside noise traveled to our seventh floor room.
Everything for the most part was great. Easy access and in the middle of everything. Staff was awesome and good space in the rooms. The pool is ok and no hot tub.
I liked how nice and clean everything was. The food from the Gallery was not good at all, I was also sad to see a very small pool and no hot tub.
Close to where I was visiting and easy to find. Room had a great view and eating establishments were in walking range. Breakfast was very good. Over priced drinks.
So close to so many things downtown/Old Market. Stayed at Hyatt, ate at Plank (excellent), many fine dining options, many nice places to have a drink, and even donut and coffee shops nearby, and a Subway across the street (restaurant). Lots to do in the area, makes this an EXCELLENT place to stay! No complaints. Excellent room, very clean and spacious, excellent rate, and very high level of quality all around!
Very nice hotel. Pool was closed while we were there.
the location, room décor and comfortable beds. nothing. there is a convenience store called Cubbies next door which has anything you might need. Very cool area with giant fountains at the ConAgri park which we could see from our window.
The view of the old market was gorgeous. Check-in/out was a breeze and the staff was friendly and helpful throughout my stay. The room was very clean and cozy, the beds were comfortable. The bathroom had a modern, simplistic feel to it. Overall, I had a great experience. I'll definitely be a returning customer. Breakfast was not very good and there was no microwave in the room, but those were my ONLY dislikes.
Cost and it was authentic Minor up keep paint sauna didn't work
Good hot breakfast, and good location close to freeway Dirty, threadbare sheets and towels, maintenance needed, internet is so slow as to be unusable.
The staff was nice and liked that the room had a ceiling fan. Breakfast was ok. Pool was closed, due to hazards, should of been advertised before buying a room, room carpet was sticky and dirty, curtains torn, bedding dirty, one worn down elevator, one ice machine way at the other end of the building, no secured doors on building, anyone can enter from side doors.
The breakfast was wonderful. Expansive. The pool was heated and very clean. Our room was clean. Run down in places. The sauna didn't work while we were there.
Quick check in, staff was friendly, good breakfast.. Floors were a little hard, just thin carpet over concrete, shower controls were overly complicated, wish the bar was open..
This hotels looks like it had seen better days in the past. The curb appeal and entry is great but it stops there. Hotel was dirty and carpets were stained. Bed linens were old and stained. Seems like maintenance is under-staffed as there were broken items in the hotel room (e.g. A lamp didn't work and the toilet kept making loud noises every half hour). I wouldn't recommend staying here.
Nothing Rude, misrepresented featured, they hate third party booking companies, they do not care if you are happy or stay.
Good location The hotel is really starting to look worn. My shower went from scalding hot to ice cold. There was mildew in the corners of the tub grout. The complimentary coffee creamer in the room was a solid brick and never dissolved. Who knows how old it was. The coffee itself tasted like hot brown water. The little "store" area was completely depleted and I was told the manager hadn't been shopping. I did buy a small, individual bag of chips, which I was charged TWO dollars for!! I've stayed in this hotel about 3 times over the last 5 years and I feel like I'm tracking its slow death.
The lobby...... It was the dirtiest hotel I've ever seen. The lobby was lovely and I never expected to walk into the building my room was in and see filthy floors up 2 flights of stairs. Like it had never been vacuumed ! Got to the room and the desk chair, which I needed was broken and in permanent lean. The hotel phone in the room also did not work. So we called the front desk for a chair and a phone and we were told when the maintenance man would be in later that day..... Any other hotel would have brought a chair and phone right away or switched us to a different room. Not this place. We took 4 hour nap on top of the sheets and checked out immediately.
The beds were comfy and the hotel staff was courteous. The hot breakfast was good. The lobby area looked nice and clean. Decent pricing, for our stay. The sauna wasn't heating up. The pool also had a light hanging out and the water was freezing. I saw a few pill bugs in our room.
Friendly service and easy to locate didn't like that the sauna didn't work
Staff was friendly. It was quiet and clean. The bed was comfy. The appliances; tv, microwave, etc. were outdated.
Mike I believe is his name was the shuttle driver and took our luggage to our room; he was great!
Convenient location, good room, but nothing special Hot tub was broken and became a "cold" tub. The only breakfast available was $15 each for the buffet.. Also had to pay for parking.
Staff was very nice and helpful. I'm a Hilton honors member and they took care of us very nicely. Breakfast waiter was very good. Not the hotels fault but someone pulled the fire alarm at 4 in the morning and we all had to evacuate
My friends and I stayed here for a birthday. We hit the hot tub and pool, then went out for dinner and drinks, and came back to sleep. Loved the modern, clean feel and the hot tub and pool. All was nice, quiet and comfortable. Appreciated floors 2+ being secure (needed a room key to access after a certain time). I did wish they had security at the front door.,My friends and I stayed here for a birthday. We hit the hot tub and pool, then went out for dinner and drinks, and came back to sleep. Parking was $10 for the garage but we found free street parking on the weekend. Breakfast is a bit expensive - $12 for hot breakfast, $6 for continental. Overall, a pretty good deal. With free hot breakfast, they would be a clear winner for this price range downtown. I am glad we chose this one, as it was quieter than the Holiday Inn or others nearby.
The hotel was very clean and the staff was friendly and helpful. It was within walking distance to local shops and restaurants There was an extra 10.00 charge for parking. The fire alarm went off at 2:00 am, and we had to evacuate while the fire department investigated. It turned out to be an electrical malfunction.
Great food quality for breakfast
Room was geeat Could not get wifi in room
Great service, great facility, great staff Not in the old market area. Short walk away.
The attached parking garage and the knowledge along with the service the staff provided was excellent. Price for breakfast was pretty steep. Elevator lobbies for the parking garage were filthy.
Loved being away from the interstate but still close enough that it was easy to access. Location was close to a lot of action but felt very safe. Solid room and nice view (6th floor) but nothing fabulous; basic upscale casual property. Paying for parking is a drag, but only $10 per night. Also, breakfast is not free/included in room price. Pool is quite small.
Everyone was friendly and helpful. I enjoyed myself very much. Maybe the fitness center could have used some more weight machines-I can do cardio outside anytime.
Close to old market, has a shuttle to get you just about everywhere you want to go in Omaha Internet was EXTRA, parking was EXTRA
The staff were very friendly and professional. The location is great for being able to walk to the market shops & Restaurants. The gym was well maintained and equipped. Beautiful lay out and love the water streams and fish! We stayed on the top floor and the vending machines ran out of complimentary snacks & drinks our first night ( we had a 3 night stay) The rooms although clean are starting to show their age and the decorations are dated could use a makeover
Nice location and the room itself was great! I don't remember the last time I was in a hotel with a full kitchen and even a stove within the room.... Would definitely recommend this place again
The hotel was a great value for the money. Very nice rooms and great variety for continental breakfast, both hot and cold, during our stay
We absolutely love this hotel, the concept, and convenience of both the location and the ability to get whatever we needed at either the small hotel market, the attached grocery store and/or delicious food delivery. Wish there were more of these hotels! Paid parking, the breakfast could easily be improved with more fresh selection, our HVAC didn't work real well.
clean, quiet, easy to find wish breakfast was earlier. it was part of the reason that i chose the hotel, but wasn't offered before 7:00 a.m. and our event that brought us to town required us to leave at 6:30 a.m.
Location is great, breakfast, staff, comfort, facilites are great. We had NO control over the room temperature; why bother including an interface in the room if it doesn't respond? We were cold enough to need jackets at all times in the room. Also breakfast could be earlier, 6am would be much better than having to wait until 7am.
- Great room layout & amenities - Free breakfast - Excellent location - Comfortable bed - Passive-aggressive staff - Cleanliness of room not nearly to par with other Element/Westin properties we frequent - Worthless HVAC system...room was 80F+ our entire stay, forcing us to keep windows open in 20F weather
Friendly staff, good location, room decor is nice and well planned. The room and the bath could use more cleaning. Mold was growing in the shower.
Love the location--it was great to be able to walk to the quality restaurants nearby.
Location My schedule didn't allow us to stay longer
Check in was supposed to be at 3pm. We got there at 3:45 or so and they said our room wasn't ready yet, it would be "a couple minutes." So we decided to just go have a drink at one of the bars nearby. We came back at 5:15 and our room still wasn't ready. We again were told "a couple minutes." We waited in the hotel lobby until 5:30 and then decided to go get a bite to eat because we didn't know how long it would be before the room was ready. We got back to the hotel around 6:30 and finally the room was ready for us. I understand if guests don't check out on time or if you are short staffed, but please be honest about the amount of time it will take to get the room ready. I would have been extremely upset if we had waited around the hotel for 3 hours because you kept telling us it would be "a couple minutes."
Friendly staff. Comfortable bed. Right off of the main road so the noise from the traffic was pretty bad
I have a very hard time sleeping in hotels, but not here. The bed was really comfortable. The hotel is well-built I never heard any noise from other rooms. Very clean. Great staff, especially Kaytee. Nothing. I will stay at the New Victorian every time I'm in Omaha.
Great beds, quiet rooms, friendly staff, very easy to get to and from Definitely putting this on my places to stay again.
Clean room, quiet night, bathroom very nice
Great price and location for night stay on s long road trip. Good breakfast and clean room.
Convenient location Our room smelled bad and it felt very musty and humid. The mattress was old and sunken in. Overall, a sad and dated place.
The breakfast was nice. The front lobby was nicely remodeled and felt welcoming. I booked this hotel because the website said that it was newly remodeled. I didn't want to stay in a run down, old hotel. The front lobby looked great so I was very excited - HOWEVER NOT ALL the rooms are updated, only a select few (and you can NOT request to have a new room), so I got an old, not updated room. I had to have them change the bedding because it looked dirty. I also needed them to change the shower head because it was so grungy and gross, water wouldn't even come out. The room smelled and looked old. I was disappointed, I thought it was going to be updated and remodeled as stated on the website!!!!
This was perfect for us - clean, good breakfast, polite staff, and only 15 minutes away from the zoo which is why we were in Omaha. No frills but this is a great place for the price! We arrived around 9:30 at night and there were 4 or 5 men hanging around the front entrance. Not sure what the deal was with them but they didn't seem to be bothering anyone - just made you wonder if it was the safest neighborhood. The next night when we came back to the motel, there was again several men hanging around outside the front entrance. But like I said they didn't seem to be bothering anyone.
Super comfortable beds. Staff is very friendly. Big screen TV's. mini fridges and Microwaves in every room. This is my 5th stay and I won't stay anywhere else in Omaha. The value is excellent. Peeling paint in the bathroom from moisture. It wasn't excessive, but it was there. Breakfast while meager is adequate, but does seem to be a few days old.
The price and location! Breakfast was cold and seemed like leftovers from the day before.
There was barely enough water pressure to operate shower. Fixing that would definetly upgrade this hotel. Evidently not an upgraded room. Mattresses weren't the best but have had worse.
Loved the breakfast selection!!!! I also appreciate how clean everything was! The beds were uncomfortable.
Free breakfast The prices of the rooms
The room we had, had very high ceilings making the room feel so large. Very comfortable bedding and perfect for a few friends to stay for a night on the town. The room we got had huge windows and was a corner suite it was a little bright in the morning for a couple of girls with handovers, even with the black out curtains shut,
Loved the location!!
Steve Skelly is very customer oriented, and loves the property he manages. He used his expertise to solve a problem I had with another company. Many thanks! Ask him for an historic tour of the original entrance. AAA++++++
The staff was wonderful!
Everything especially the staff they were wonderful!
The hotel staff was very friendly! The front desk clerk was very generous and upgraded us to a suite. Very clean rooms, comfortable beds. Great location- we walked to Blatt's bar (which I highly recommend!). They do have a shuttle that will take you to the Old Market and airport. Would definitely stay again!
Comfortable beds, friendly staff, clean, excellent experience. Quiet. Thank you very much.
Very relaxing environment and shuttle was very helpful dropping off and picking up at all the museums, events and activities going on close to the Hampton. Was thinking that the room came with a mini frig for the small children's milk and fruit. Had some issues with room scheduled and reserved back in January of 2014 for a July 2014 Friday afternoon evening and Saturday evening family reunion events. Having staff double book the room and late preparation setup for the fifty plus family members.
Definetly the best value for money hotel I have stayed in the USA. Great rooms and great value for money. Staff where great. Highly recommend
Everything was excellent, it is a good convienent place to stay in downtown Omaha
The rooms were clean and decent size. The staff was very helpful and pleasant. I would stay here again in the future. The only real issue was that the rate I was quoted through booking.com was not the rate the hotel had us confirmed at. They immediately made a copy of our confirmation slip and the rate was adjusted. It could have been a hassle had we not brought written confirmation of the rate.
Stayed here for a New Year's Eve party. This former Hilton Hotel of yesteryear is one old tired dog.
Breakfast was nice, when they would allow us to eat. They failed to mention the first day that if we didn't book through their hotel website we didn't get complimentary breakfast. The sheets and comforter had what looked to be blood stains on them when we arrived.
close to qwest centre
Great staff, great Cookies. Friendly people. Will stay again. Price was great.
Great hotel. We stayed 3 nights & everything was nice & clean. Loved having a little kitchenette. The breakfast was very good & we liked that they changed up the hot items every day. All the workers we encountered were very nice & made you feel welcomed. The area seemed very nice & safe. Several restaurants within walking distance. Thanks for an AWESOME stay. The bed we had was very squeaky & soft (which hurt my back) but my husband said it helped his.
The dinner buffet is awesome and breakfast is super as well. When you add it all up, can't beat the overall price. Bianca is a superstar and super friendly. What a great experience. Nothing at all.
I loved the little kitchen, which had everything we needed. Our room was very cozy and inviting. Also, very clean. The employees were very nice as well! The curtains didnt close all the way, so we only had a sheer white curtain for privacy.
Quick tome reservation. Friendly stuff. Breakfast was horrible, no pancakes no waffles no scramble eggs. Room were small and smells like a mold, bathrooms need some decent cleaning and remodeling. Please add more towels to the rooms... 3 are not enough...
The front desk man that assisted me was completely and utterly professional. He was courteous and nice and really helpful. The room was absolutely disgusting. There was some style of mold or water damage in the bathroom. There was hair all over the bathroom floor and in the tub as well. I checked in at 11pm and checked out at 4am because I was so disgusted.
Convenient location. Lots of nearby place to eat. Hallways have severely stained carpets. Walls need painting.
Comfortable, friendly staff and good location. Carpet had stains throughout the hotel and in rooms. Paint in the bathroom was peeling off the walls.
It was the perfect stay for me and my nine-year-old son. The rooms were fresh and clean, and the nightly rate was great!
Very nice staff. Didn't know the pool was outdoors and therefore closed. Some need for painting and a few stains on the carpets. Also no cots.
The staff was extremely friendly and helpful. The room was well appointed, very clean, very comfortable. Paper cups? I know it's an easy way to cut costs - but not only did my morning coffee leak through one cup after 4 minutes, forcing me to run to get another to "double cup", the whole time I'm thinking - How hard is it to just have regular ceramic mugs? I'd happily pay $10 more per night to have real, rather than paper.
The place was clean, comfortable but the room was a little small. The sink was not in the bathroom which I do not like.
We were just passing through on our way to Denver. The room was modern and clean. Breakfast in the morning was a nice perk.
The room was spacious, comfortable and clean, the staff was personable and friendly. We felt very comfortable and were able to get a good night's rest each night. We would consider staying here again (but with the understanding that the free breakfast was worthless to us). The breakfast was lame. We didn't like the biscuits and gravy at all, ESPECIALLY the lumpy white paste they called gravy. We're not fans of phony egg patties either, but at least they were edible. So we ate at the Village Inn offsite in order to get a good breakfast, but of course that was at additional (and unnecessary) expense to us. A waffle iron would have helped us avoid that expense. Waffles are hard to mess up. If they'd fix the breakfast, we'd definitely call this our home-away-from-home in Omaha!
The room was clean. The parking was convenient. Upon arrival there was no receptionist at the desk and no telephone or bell to ring in order to contact a receptionist. After waiting for 5 minutes I finally looked around the corner to find the receptionist. There was obviously a miscommunication between your company and the hotel because the receptionist called to tell one of your representatives that "you guys screwed up again". She was very rude to your representative (not very professional). She also did not explain to me exactly what the miscommunication was (which left me very uncomfortable because she had just had my credit card and was now acting this way, I am now closely monitoring my credit card transactions). I entered my room to be further disappointed, the floor plan of the room was very inconvenient. The only plug in near the bed was not accessible (it was located under the headboard and under the bed) which was a major inconvenience. The alarm clock was located on the other side of the room and was not even set to the correct time. There was a telephone jack behind one of the bedside tables the cover appeared to have been either very dirty or it had been exposed to heat. The telephone jack cover was not secure to the wall and there were bare wires exposed. Upon checkout the day receptionist was at least friendlier and was actually at the desk when I went to check out. I will not be booking a room here again.
Internet is very slow.
My kids loved the pool! The whole 3rd floor smelled of pot the night we arrived. Made our room smell too!
One word-OUTSTANDING Food and drink in the pool area is okay with me, but not while in the pool or hot tub, with a drink in hand. Signs indicate that is a no-no, and staff in pool area did nothing about it. Not crazy about staff holding door open to outside in pool area.
This guest did not leave comments about this hotel.
I loved the sizeof room for the price The thin walls
We love the water park! No
This guest did not leave comments about this hotel.
The water park feature is pretty family-friendly and the rooms were clean. Pool was way too cold, check-in time did not match time given at reservation and rooms were still not ready by hotel's actual check-in time, my child slipped and fell in the elevator due to wet floors (no caution posted), poor restaurant service.
The water park was a nice feature. The woman at the front desk was not very organized so it took longer than normal to get checked in.
Location and amenities No
The people SUV was broken into @ 3:00am. Hotel cameras's have robbery on video. Passenger door & window destroyed by a crow bar - replacement needed. Most all contents in car were stolen. Thousands lost! Requesting a refund - hotel said they would credit you.
Location and cleanliness. very pleased and would definitely stay there again. The on site parking was limited and crowed .
Rooms and pool Staff at restaurant was the worst I have ever been around.
Convenient location from the zoo. Swimming pool. Coffee in the room. Desk clerk extremely helpful. Rooms very clean and current. No jacuzzi/hot tub. No continental breakfast. Drain in shower very slow.
Friendly staff. The cafe and bar was very expensive. In middle of college campus.
Safe and well lit area. Short drive to old market and the zoo.
Staff was nice abs welcoming. Variety of breakfast was good.
The area of Aksarben where this property is located is very new. There were lots of dining choices and seemed to have a lot to offer in terns of entertainment. Lots of green space for exercise and play. The hotel was immaculate and the rooms were very comfortable.
well I was kind of treated poorly once they realized I booked through a third party. They were very nice until they realized I had booked not through them directly. The attitude changed and then they sent me to a room, but I felt like I was put in the "reject wing." just was very odd and not impressive.
The new bar and lobby areas are very nice and modern. We had appetizers and drinks after the concert we attended and they were delicious!
