this is a very nice vintage hotel in the heart of palm springs. their compimentary upgrade to a casitas was a bonus.
Nice boutique hotel.
pool, service $25 per day "fee" not reasonable
The overall vibe of the place was great from from facility maintenance staff to the chef. N/A
The peace and serenity of the mountains as you sat by the pool and cool mist decided from above....a total relaxation. I thought the maid service was spotty. My room was clean but they did not replace items such as T.P. which I think is an important item:)
The atmoshpere around the pool and restaurant
A perfect hotel with a wonderful room. We would recommend it to every one visiting Palm Springs.
A fantastic little boutique hotel of 50 rooms - really nice decor and details in the rooms - a great pool bar and restaurant - would definitely recommend this place. Nothing
sat by pool and enjoyed the quiet and elegance of the hotel. Also, walked around downtown Palm Springs and enjoyed shopping and restaurants- the Casino too! Next day took tram up mountain to San Jacinto Wilderness and did a 6 mile hike! na
We had a lovely clean and cool room and the hotel had a very calm vibe with lots of relaxed seating in and out of the shade,it aslo had a lovely pool and was in walking distance of downtown Additional daily charge($22) for leisure facilities should be included in the room rate quoted to ensure comparison with other hotels is easy
The fan made a loud noise. The toilet didn't flush. Called the front desk, but they didn't fix either problem. The restraunt/room service was closed. Valvet parking was mandory. $25 fee.
24 hour amenities were a nice feature. Mandatory Valet was a pain.
Loved the staff and how welcoming they were. They have two pools, one salt water and one regular. The hotel is clean and looks like you staying in villas. The spa services mean they get someone to come to your room which I felt was misleading from what I read online so we didn't use it. There is a $25 a day resort charge which is really your valet parking. Just call it that. I did not see resort activities to justify the charge.
Beautiful property with wonderful amenities; Spacious rooms that are really studio condos with full kitchens and private sitting verandas; Extremely professional, polite, and helpful staff; 24-hr. pool and hot tub are almost unheard of at a hotel; Outstanding value for the price. Website indicated there was a $25/night fee to park a vehicle--this is not correct, it is a mandatory $25/night "resort fee" whether you park there or not (although the fee does include parking); Room needed to be re-vacuumed upon arrival; Fit-and-finish workmanship of the 2014 renovation to the rooms is somewhat below average--various gaps in finished surfaces, cabinets that don't close correctly, loose faucet in bathroom, etc.
Staff was great. Very accomodating . None
Very personal service. We were treated like family and the food and margaritas were awesome! The office closes at 9pm. After that you are on your own.
Staff was very friendly
Clean, comfortable and well appointed rooms. Comfortable and accommodating venue. Good Host and Guests. Some traffic noise from Indian Canyon Drive in peak periods of the day but not enough to be a concern. The pool & hot-tub are a bit too hot and need to be lowered a few degrees to be more refreshing (for the pool) and comfortable (for the hot-tub).
The quietness of the place The pillows but they served their purpose. Wish they had real vending machine for ice though.
