Not what you expect in Paris if you go in honeymoon, or to "feel" the city, but very ok for business trips. In the same time, very friendly with kids. And the room with the sofa is perfect for a family with kids. Difficult to find pool and other facilities.
View + access to a pool (not free, however) + gratuity for children Waiting for breakfast at the restaurant
Close to the Metro and the Eiffel Tower. Nice view of the Siene River. We were not informed that the Swimming Pool/Sauna/Jacuzzi would close early on a Sunday and as a result were not able to use the facilities. Also I wanted to see my misses in a bikini and this was an opportunity missed!
the consirage staff were excellant reception never answer phones, i felt the pool and gym areas were for locals only
Very good room and hotel Very expensive hotel for those he provide.I pay 18 € for Internet to have 5kb/s .very poor breakfast for 21€
nice room,pleasant staff
nice view from 20th floor. crew very polite.very good breakfast expensive parking. breakfast only until 9:30 am.
Good location, and friendly staff.
-very good location, being only a few steps away from Eiffel Tower, very clean and comfortable rooms
The room was very quiet and overlooked a large, open central square which was quite pleasant. I nice change from the usual Parisien hotels that either have noisy streets or small dark internal courtyards. the room opposite me had put their food tray outside when I checked in to my room at midday, when I returned to my room 6 hours later the tray was still there.
the room is clean and easy to find a supermarket beside the hotel.
Location and hotel staf Hotel don't have own taxi service, and hotel remove all my money from account two months earlier. Condition on web site are different. Hotel dont respect cancellation fee proposal.
Good sound isolation. Internet did'nt work at all. ( Internal server error )
The room was excellent, the location was a bit far away from main Paris attractions. Staff were excellent with the exception of the female bar manager who was abrupt and officious. see above
Very clean, adjacent to metro. Excellent breakfast. Would return.
Clean and preatty good hotel, but too expensive for what it can offer. Not so near of Tour Eiffel; around 40 minutes walking. Very cold in the room; heating installation was not working, but nice staff. The heating was not working even if outside was approx 13 degrees. Was really cold there.
The helpfullness of staff. Good choice of breakfast. Location Noise from street at night. We were on the 4th floor at the front of hotel but I am a light sleeper so still found it too noisy would stay again but ask for back of hotel.
We stay there during two days ,perfect location to trip around Paris ,near metro station (Vaugirard ),room was clean and comfortable ,free wifi in room through orange connect.. Price for drink in room ,be aware and check pricelist before you use ...small can of beer 5 euro :(((( i realize that is hotel price but a bit too much
very central for sightseeing and metro links. Good buffet breakfast.
the friendliness of the staff who were very helpfull. good value breakfast
close to metro and city centre cooked breakfast poor not worth 12 euro
location was perfect. just opposite to metro station Volontaires & 15 mn. walk to Montparnasse. there had been invisible little insects in the room. every morning that I got up , i had red spots in my arms & fingers . it was too expensive compared to the quality. on top, staff was not very friendly.
Perfect location, metro station across the street, very helpful staff, cozy rooms. Good value for the money
we got chaged for a breakfast for 2 that we did not have
Located near metro station Would like coffee/tea making facilities to be provided.
Great location with metro station in front of the hotel. We had a triple room and it was rather small. Furniture in the room a bit run down.
Location was great and staff very friendly and efficient. Expensive for the size of room.
The service was excellant.
Close to a metro station and easy to find. Very limited facilities, very small room, gave the impression of being run on a budget
My wife and I stayed in this hotel in November 2010 because it is conveniently located with respect to the apartment where our son and his wife live. However, Paris is a small city and this hotel is only 2km from Notre Dame and 2km from the Eiffel Tower, so it is pretty central. There are several Metro stations close by and, of course, the famous Paris bicycles. We really liked the hotel The staff were very friendly and spoke perfect English - they also put up with our attempts to converse with them in French. The hotel obviously has been recently renovated. Our room was nicely decorated, very clean with a modern bathroom and separate toilet. The room was fairly small but you don't come to Paris to sit in your hotel room! Good value. Nothing that we didn't like.
Staff were very accommodating, location was excellent for our needs.Hotel currently in final stages of renovations, very pleased with cleanliness of room. The rooms were small, but more than suitable for a short stay.
The location was safe and convenient, front desk personnel was polite and friendly, the room was clean, the bathroom was designed nicely, the breakfast was reasonably priced (and basic). Small room (seems to be the norm in Paris)
Nice room, convenient for metro, pleasant staff. The lift seems to be directly over a drain!!
Awesome staff. I wish I knew her name. Extremely helpful. Good location. A 15 minute walk to Eiffel tower. Parking was problematic and pricey, although understandable considering the location of the hotel.
Clean rooms, recently refurbished, nice balcony, small elevator, friendly and professional staff, centrally located, affordable priced – strong recommendation.
Staff were excellent. Beds comfortable. Breakfast was good. Hotel very close to Eiffel Tower and to metro stations. Lots of good local restaurants. Room was very small and there was very little storage space. Construction site next door was very noisy
Location. Comfort of bed Small room. Staff not so friendly.
The location was great very close to the eiffel towers and other major attractions. The elevator was too small we had to make 2 trips with our luggage. also it make sudden stops on one accasion it almost knock my lap-top out of my hands
The staff were excellent and the location was perfect for exploring Paris
I liked the location The lift is very, very small, one person with a luggage medium size is...too much. The breakfast is very poor for tha amount of money (13€ !!!), better go in the boulangerie in front of the hotel. Much better, much more. I asked for after-shave cream, they gave me a shaving kit...without after-shave cream. Every time you connect the wireles, you have to introduce the password. And, from time to time, the password is not valid anymore and you have to call to the reception for asking for a new one. The room was cold, the A/C machine doesn't make the room to be hot enough. And it was not in the middle of winter...
Its proximity to the metro. No one helped me with my luggage, room was a little smaller than I thought, not as modern as I thought it would be.
Good hotel, near center. rooms not big enought
fairly new furnitures they couldn't provide us a room with eiffel view, even if we noticed them before..
Layout of the area The lack of towel and bed linen service
Dear Sir or Madam, Thank you, for your kindly assistance during our stay at the Pierre & Vacances City Paris TOur Eiffel. We found a very nice hotel stuff and good service. Thanks again.
great view on eiffel tower from my window had a broken chair in my room, and fitness center and pool were closed
New furniture, hi speed internet no tourist information, no housekeeping
The view from our room of the Eiffel Tower was great it was amazing to be able to go to sleep looking at it twinkle1 Nothing we had the best time
Great location, 3 blocks or 5 mins from Eiffel Tower, Great view of the tower from our 24th floor bedroom, staff were helpful and friendly
the room was comfortable and the personel was very kind
The Hotel is well located, not fare from the Tour Eiffel. The appartment was comfortable but I am sure that with the price we paid we can get better accommodation. The personel was nice but not friendly at all except few cases.
the location is perfect (15 mins walk from Eiffel Tower), however, still it is 8-10 mins walk from metro stations. The room was ideal! we stayed at 28th floor, and the view was amazing. the breakfast menu could have been more varied. no hair dryer in the room, no room cleaning service. you have a vacuum cleaner in the wardrobe though.
Hotel was lovely, staff were really helpful, parking availability at hotel was excellent and a really good rate, very nice surprise!
Parking place, sauna, swiming pool.
English speaking staff No top bed sheet
Nice to have a pool. Room was very nice, and staff accomodated our 4 person family by ugrading us to a suite at a reduced price.
Excellent buffet breakfast. Close to Metro. Staff very helpful when we wanted directions to Parc de Princes.
Basically I chose the hotel only for the location, few steps from the exhibition centre....the rest is very average, food bad The welcome by the staff and the way they serve you
Convenient position a short walk to the metro station. Staff v.friendly and helpful. Room v.modern but still comfortable. Swimming pool great. I stay in a lot of 4/5 star hotels and normally prefer older hotels, but I would definitely give this one 10/10 No evening meals available but with a number of good bistros a short walk away this wasn't really a problem
The room was a little bit small. Was a little far from the center.
Contrary to some reviews on this site, I found the personnel at reception extremely friendly and helpful. I think Oceania actually have read the reviews, and must have instructed the personnel. Some reviewers talked about poor breakfast : untrue ! I took breakfast opposite hotel the 1st day : 11 euro buys you a croissant, orange juice, coffe, and 2 slices of bread and butter. You're much better served, and very friendly, again, in the hotel for 17 euro. It is true, there is no minibar in the room, the remote of the television set did not work very well (small tv also) and no wardrobes to be found. Finally, the 220V-connection is conventionally placed (earth connector at top) but just above the desk, which does not allow any apparatus to be inserted that has a transformer firmly connected to the plug.
Friendly No tea or Coffee making facilities in the room
It was very close to the everything we wanded to do.The staff was great
Convenience - close to Metro. The environment is too noisy - a lot of cars passed the road even in late nite.
The location was very good, close to the metro station and a bus stop. The breakfast was rather poor for the price and the room needs repairment.
average overall door lock should be updated. extended stay not possible though rooms still available on the web.
The location was fairly close to a lot of food-type places including restaurants and close to the subway. A fifteen minute from the Eiffel Tower wasn't bad either! The room was the smallest I have ever stayed in. The bed was hard and there was no dresser.
The staff at the hotel were lovely. They gave us advice on where to go how to get there and to take care of out bags. They also provided a room for us to leave bags after checking out if the room so we didn't have to carry them. No
Too small safety box (not suitable for laptop). Wifi expensive. Breakfast at 14 euro was disappointing (better go to brasserie close to metro). Ordered non smoking room, but a lot of smell of cigarettes in hallway every day.
The general condition of the bathroom was not quite well.
Staff were very friendly and helpful, with excellent English. We had 2 rooms. One was fine but room 204 smelled a bit musty
Very friendly staff Room was a bit small, location is not that good as it is expected
The staff was friendly and the room service good. Although, having travelled in Thailand and Japan, the service offered in hotels there for the same price is much better. That's why I rated "services/facilities", "comfort", and "value for money" as "fair". The hotel is situated conveniently. The room was quite noisy (traffic and room neighbors). There was no information about services and facilities neither given by staff at reception nor avalaible in form of a brochure in the room. For instance, I didn't know that there was internet access available.
The room was clean and functional, breakfast was plentiful and varied, staff were incredibly helpful. It had a lift and my room had a bath! Luggage can be left all day and an airport shuttle bus was organised by the desk staff. Room was cleaned without warning whilst I was out, had I known I would have tidied up a bit more.
The hotel is very quiet during the nigth time Breakfast should be include in the price
The staff was very polite and helpful plus they spoke good English. The location was excellent. Sometimes no one was in the reception even though all the room keys were there. And during the night the receptionist was sleeping on the sofa downstairs.
Friendly staff. Close to metro station
Etremely friendly, english-speaking staff, small but nice and comfortable room. Our room (51) had a small balcony with nice view. It is next to a metro station in a nice area. Shower was small but clean. Generally really good choice for economic holidays in Paris.
Good, good support in front desk nothing bad
Very Nice, very clean Hotel, very well located - just one block from the Metro station
Location was only 50 metres from Metro station Pasteur Hotel is tired and run-down and in need of a decent re-furbishment
very clean room very uncomfortable bed, to hard.
Close to Metro and cafes Old carpets. Tiny room.
nobody to let you in to the hotel at 0700 hrs - so I had to walk aroung waiting for it to open - very strange for a hotel
Single woman on a business trip I felt really safe. Hotel staff suggested excellent restaurants good atmosphere and not too expensive. The area is really buzzing during the day and feels really safe at night. Trendy bar at the corner if needed... Possibly, the only thing was the phone that did not seem to work very well.
Pleasant staff, good district, nearby Metro, Ideal for Exhibition Centre
Great location. Near metro stations. Convenient to Eiffel Tower and other sites. Staff spoke English fairly well. No place to unload luggage from your car.
very nice late night staff. Close to the underground station. Very far from Eiffel tower even that it said it was close.
The location of the hotel was very good for getting to the centre of Paris. I would have liked tea making facilities in the room and a double bed rather than two single beds pushed together!
Good transportation.Room is too small.Room cleaning service is good. Not enough space for hanging cloths.
The treatment of the staff is very friendly. It's really family treatment. but the rooms are very small The rooms are very small, and I would repeat my stay at the hotel if I guarantee I have bigger rooms.
The beds were comfortable and the room was clean and well-heated. There were plenty of shops and brasseries close by and within walking distance of the Eiffel Tour. Rooms were dark and pokey and the whole placed looked a bit old and in need of refurbishment. Also, they got my reservation wrong (they gave me a double, rather than a twin room) and it had to be changed, which was fine because it wasn't fully booked, but would have been annoying if I hadn't been able to get another room. Also, our key card didn't always work.
There's absolutely nothing positive I can say about this hotel. 1) They made us pay for 3 nights on arrival despite our booking not being restricted. 2) There was no hot water in the morning and shower head didn't work. 3) There were no sockets in some of the rooms. 4) Breakfast isn't served until 7:30 and it's quite bad and pricey for what one gets. 5) One room smelled of sewage. 6) Obscene price when it comes to value for money, Paris was very expensive at the time of our stay, but charging €500 for the service below any standards is an outrage, this hotel is not worth even it's standard rate of €150. 7) Staff isn't particularly helpful.
The staff is very nice
Location is excellent. Restaurants around, 3 metro lines acorss the street. I thought it would be noisy, but it is not. When I needed, staff was helpful. This is not a hotel for people who are picky or want fancy rooms. It is simple, but good and comfortable.
Lovely residential area with nice restaurants and shops nearby, close proximity to two Metro lines, short walk to Eiffel Tower and the river, hotel was nicely renovated The only real negative for me was the "glass" door between the bathroom and bedroom. It makes for a distinct lack of privacy. Also, light comes in from the bathroom window in the morning, making the curtains in the bedroom useless.
Booked a family room. It was actually two adjoining rooms so we also had two baths as well. Rooms were clean. Perfect setup for our family of four. Morning continental breakfast is served but you are charged a fee. Staff friendly and speak English. Location is close to Eiffel tower and transit stations. Would recommend.
Everything you need and nothing you dont. It was cheap, clean, comfortable, and modern, with good location and staff. Cant ask for more.
The localization is excellent, bytheway is very quite and close to the torre Efffel drugstore, supermarket, brasseries, and "station de metro".
Very closed to the location very small room, as well known in Paris
well - situated, clean, friendly staff, room was made up every day, fast wi-fi bathroom's door was made of glass and you could see through it, towels not very clean, bad smell of vinegar at the corridors
Clean , quiet , staff are nice , breakfast is good. None
It was located in a nice neighbourhood with easy access to metro stations Breakfast could have a larger variety
Pleasant, friendly reception staff made us feel welcome. The hotel has a good location within easy walking distance to the Eiffel Tower, river boats, metro and local restaurants.
Excellent location, very nice hotel for the money (given how expensive Paris is).
Affordable price, close to metro, quiet at night time Rooms too small, glass door on bathroom!!
Good location, close to tourist attraction, shop and restaurant Standard room for the price we have paid
We booked a room with a view of the Eiffel Tower. Great room and fantastic view. Unbeatable value for the price we paid. Pictures don't do the room justice. Very spacious and the window has the Classic french iron gate. Even our bathroom had a window with view of Eiffel Tower!! Lovely experience! Worth every penny. Other hotels in budget could not guarantee view.. Very close to metro with free wifi. Very close to starbucks and McDonalds.
Convenient location, close to metro. Large rooms, very clean, friendly professional staff. Bit noisy at front of hotel. Overall very impressed.
If can offer breakfast is better Good
location was excellent, when getting out of the metro station (exist No 3) the hotel is just to the right. you can see the eiffel tour from most rooms.breakfast is very simple but good, proabably not worth the 9eur, but if you don't want to waste time finding something else this is the best option. losts of restaurants nearby (even Mcdon).good sound insolation from the street. good channel variety (mostly french).rooms were small but everything you need is there. nothing really. it's a 3* hotel so don't expect anything spectacular but still quite confortable.
Staff very helpful and kind.
Breakfast buffet was very poor, no cold cuts only one type cheese, rolls very hard.
The view of the Eiffel tower and the convinience of the metro at your doorsteps. The place was full of cafes and street side restaurants and grocery markets. The washroom didn't have a shower curtain and thus water used to spill out. The rooms were small and the lift smaller , but in terms of Parisian standards this was a good value for money. Some of the staff could have been a little polite.
Tour Eiffel view too noisy street (even with closed window), but Tour Eiffel view and center :); shampoo was added after request (after two weeks staying);
excellent location, helpful staff, great value for money mattrasse was uncomfortable (everything hurts the next day)
Close to the city centre, walking distance to the tower
The staff were very helpful in recommending restaurannts and making reservations. The Hotel was off on a quiet street and was in a residential neighborhood. Very nice French experience. Rooms were typical European. A bit small.
ok, but expensive brakefest
I liked the design of the rooms and the hotel that was very plesent,warm,parisish...It is very clean'nice treated and the staff is very kind.the hotel view is beautifull towards the eiffel tower and very exiting seeing it in the morning and at night!!! EVERY THING ABOUVE!!!
Location Rooms were small and in need of a face lift
I had asked for the staff to organise me champagne and strawberry’s for my partner to be left in the room so she could be surprised on Valentines day, They did this and it was amazing. The staff were so helpful and polite. The lady at reception went out especially to buy the strawberry’s. The Eiffel tower was visible from the hotel. It was the best trip away. Really recommend to stay. The bedroom is medium size, the facilities are good quality and again the staff are very very helpful. Would recommend this hotel for a short break to Paris as the Eiffel tower is a 10 minute walk.
The rooms had a very nice decor ... very warm feeling ... comfortable bed and a good bathroom too . Very neat and a tidy place. The rooms could have been bigger ... slightly overpriced
very nice room a litle cousy hotel with lots of possibility's for visiting Paris like the eifeltour
Staff was unbelieveably helpful in providing directions around the city and helping to book a shuttle to the airport. The breakfast was also moderate but nice which was served in a relaxing sunroom Small Bed
It's newly renovated and perfectly situated. Free Wi-Fi is a great feature.
Small. Lack of amenities but clean. Right across the street from the metro but didn't hear it.
Location, Comfortable but SMALL rooms. Place is really small. Could not accomodate even a request for an extra pillow.
Brand new hotel, they are finishing the breakfast room and some minor things around the rooms and hallways. Very nice design and pretty spacious rooms for Paris. Great shower, great bed. And very friendly staff, which is also quite rare in Paris.
Very conveniently placed for the occasion, next to the Cambronne Metro station in walking distance to Unesco and Eiffel tower. The hotel is very stylish, the rooms are small but very clean and modern. The breakfast is somewhat basic. Fortunately, there are plenty of cafés around that serve French-style breakfast for a few Euro.
The proximity to the Paris Auto Expo was really convenient. Hardly a 10 minute walk! Has some nice cafes within a 2 minute walk. Most of the staff were really helpful and pleasant. The room was too cramped for 2 people. Hardly any space to move around the double bed.
Price of Breakfast
really loved our stay
Clean hotel with friendly staff. Nice location, very close to metro. Rooms basic but comfortable.
location, clean, quiet room, helpful staff Bed/mattress uncomfortable. One staff member pushy about using the shuttle service and trying to convince us it was only 6 Euros each more than the train - it was 10 Euros more. Were they on commission?
very clean, good location internet to expensive, 8 eur per hour = no internet
The rooms looked quite nice, the hotel was very close to the metro and quite central. The shower water always went from hot to cold and the other way round. The janitors didn't want to leave us alone, when we wanted to sleep long.
I enjoyed it very much, what a convenient area for my busy life.
friendly helpful staff
Very good hotel for the money. You can't expect more from 3 star hotel. Excellent location. Nice staff, mostly speaking english. Room could be a bit bigger but let's face it - you don't go to Paris to spend time sitting in the hotel room. And one more - lift was working at this time!!! Maybe it is very small lift but it was working. Definitely will go again.
Friendly staff at reception, manage to find me a mobile charger to charge my mobile, the hotel is newly refurbished, clean, just next to the convention metro station, and supermarkets, excellent for the price pay for. the room is small, not ideal for travelling with family
it's a nice and small hotel, where one, being a guest, feels at home easily and is being recognised by the friendly staff almost immediately. It's location is perfectly close to the Paris metro station (station Convention) and all other facilities a tourist would need, like banks, small bars and places to shop. Having spent more times in Paris, we were happily surprised by the atmosphere of the hotel as a whole. We would strongly recommend it ! Unfortunately, the hotel has no car parking facility and the staff we met had some difficulty speaking and understanding english. Not that it was a big deal to us, but still...
Easy access to metro and wonderful food. Cramped breakfast room and super slow elevator.
location was excellent, staff was wonderful! Flea Market out early Sunday morning was a nice treat! Metro station is steps from the hotel lobby... very nice area, lots of local shopping and dining.
coffee machine to be used (if paid) localization, near the metro station and supermarkets.
There were two issues. The room was too small for the money I paid although relatively comfortable. Secondly, the shower in the wash room was broken and was not reparied even after making requests for three nights consecutively.
I like the Area, the hotel located in a decent nice Area of Paris.the Free Wireless High Speed Internet .The cute Balcony witch containing a Chair and a Table and it's nice viewing to the Area. hmmmmm , the room is tiny , but it's ok after all.
We stayed at this hotel for 3 nights while visiting Paris and found it to be ideal for our needs. The room was small, but clean, with excellent Air Con (necessary during August in Paris) and the shower had good pressure. The breakfast was reasonable and worth the extra we paid for it, although there are two good Cafe/Bistros immediately next to the hotel, with many more similar establishments in the vicinity too, so it isn't strictly necessary. The parking provided was definitely secure, being in an underground lock-up to which you are given the key, although larger cars may find it a bit tight. Access to the city couldn't be easier, with the Convention Metro station again just outside the hotel.
Location THe staff were not heloful in getting a taxi to the airport on leaving.
The room were modern and clean. the bed was extremely comfortable. David, at he front desk went out of his way to assist us with our tours and made excellent suggestions.
