Beautiful hotel, wonderful staff, very relaxing atmosphere.
staff were amazing, attentive & friendly. Breakfat is gourmet and faantastic. Luxirious villas facing a nice view. water at the private villa swimming pool and in the public pool were very cold. food served in the rooms is not variable and over priced. the food served in the rooms probably tasted like pet food
The staff was extremely helpful & friendly
The hotel staff's good services and comfort of the hotel environment.
Villas are well designed and sited well within a setting of rice paddies. The landscaping was particularly well designed and well kept. The toilet/bathrooms are little outdated; and need to be modernised.
The peaceful bushy surrounding, with monkeys in the trees. The pool villa's and the lovely moonlight dinners. The breakfast could be improved, just by adding some cheese, ham and salami (for people that do not enjoy hot meals in the morning.) The boiling coffee is really terrible! They should invest in a good coffee machine then the resort would be "perfect".
Privacy, day bed - views. Pool. Friendliness. No
Very good breakfast.Awarding winning resturant.Up to world best class standard for food. False advertising.Ubud Charlet room will never be available. There are only 8 rooms looks like the adv. picture out of 58 rooms in total. Some room were renovated but we never had a chance to even see it. Our room was old and no 4 pillar bed. Will send you picture later. When I check out, I saw another pair of traveller were complainting about the room too. What you pay is not what you see in adv. picture.
We stayed in the deluxe pool villa & it was an absolutely gorgeous room! The food was terrible, we found it necessary to travel into ubud centre to eat every meal.
The hotel was really up to and above our expectations. Really nice setting and surrounding and very friendly and helpful staff. as the chalets were full we were upgraded to a villa.
Good service - excelent location Driver transfer was a little expensive compared to taxi
The hotel was among the pictureque rice fields and forests, away from the main tourist area - very quiet and relaxing. Our unit had it's own garden with a little hut with thatched roof in it. We saw lots of stars in the clear night and monkeys in the trees above the rice fields in the morning. The hotel has beautiful main garden, pool area, temple, paths to village, etc. The drive from/to the airport, nusa dua and kuta was 1hr-1 1/2 hr depending on the time of the day. If you prefer the bustling tourist scenaries and spa hopping, Ubud area may be bit far.
The accommodating staff. The pinesol smell of the room.
Beautiful grounds and setting. Large and well decorated room. Shuttle to town was good. Menu was too gourmet, with limited selections, small portions and high prices. The cheesburger in the bar was the most expensive I have ever had anywhere.
The swimming pool, the view from the room, the room facitilies, the staff
Loved everything about this place...staff, hotel, facilities, location...everything! Nothing at all!!!
Rooms , view , hotel staff were so helpful and they make you feel like u r the only one staying at their hotel. Nothing, everything was perfect
I like the very nice pool and the garden with the rice terraces. kind of expensive
Excellent service, beautiful pool and grounds, great breakfast and restaurant 15 min walk to town, poor access road with potholes and inadequate lighting. However hourly shuttle service provided free of charge.
the villa, tea time were good. Service at breakfast was chaotic, food arrived in a wrong order, serivce was slow
Great staff service, opulent surroundings. Mixed up our reservation and had to move our room, but we were compensated appropriately and the first room was just as nice as the 2nd.
This is a beautiful facillity. The staff is wonderful. Prix fixe dinner for Christmas with no other food available.
Staff was very friendly and kind and service is excellent, villa is luxurious and the views are out-worldly and breath-taking. Also they offered us a welcome gift that i really liked. The insects inside the villa but there's nothing they can do really knowing the environment that we're in although they spray the villa everyday from inside and out, and also the villa was far from the reception and restaurant area that we should call a butler with a golf car to pick us up every time we go in and out of the villa, but nothing that ruins our amazing stay
Certainly the most beautiful hotel you can imagine for a honeymoon (actually the most beautiful villa we've ever stayed at). Fantastic view and enormous luxury villas with plungle pools! Only one computer for internet acces, which was frequently down. You will have to consider that, since it is close to jungle, bugs will appear inevitably in the evening, but can be reasonably kept out.
- Very nice views and exotic environment: one has the feeling of being in the middle of the jungle; free transfer to the centre of Ubud (15 minutes); large duplex villa with very nice bathroom (incl. large marble bathtub); nice breakfast, swimming pool and other facilities; good spa. - Rooms/villas are slightly over-priced for the quality of services/environment; rooms/villas are insufficiently isolated (e.g. as early as 5 AM the local wildlife, incl. domesticated poultry awakens and it is hard not to wake up together with them, but that of course is part of the charm of a stay in a jungle like environment!)
I got the villa with poola nd the bath was out side. Little unconfortable but very romantic
Visiting Ubud area , massage in Ubud
very good location among the nature and the privecy in the fabulos swiming pool. reciption staff does not know how to deal as freindly
An absolutely beautiful resort set in stunning surroundings. The service and rooms were good, although the finishing touches were absent, like no chairs or lounges next to the private pools, limited chairs next to the main pool, limited towel supply and very expensive drinks. It was also quite a distance from Ubud town but this was ok because they provided a free shuttle. Very luxurious!
We loved the hotel, very friendly staff, spacious rooms. Great for people who love nature, gardens and tranquill setting.
The landscape was really nice. Beautiful view from the villas with private pool type of room. very quiet. The front desk staff specially Tagel was great and really helpful. Really old and run down. In serious need of renovation. The humidity smell in the shower and toilet was quite bad. The shower broke down twice during our 4 nights stay. But they came promptly to fix it both times. the pool bed mattress was covered with mold and geckos were living in it! quite scary.
the friendliness of the staff and it was very quiet and peaceful
hotel was nice, nice landscape, excellent and friendly staff insects in the room, outside toilet and shower
Very old, needy to repair
The pools (both our own and the mail pool). The luxury rooms. The fantastic view. The restaurant at Payogan was not at all value for money. Expensive and boring food. The hotel is app 15 minutes ride (car/bus) from Ubud centre.
Very nice staff and friendly. Had a year end party free of charge. Hot water was not enough amount and pressure, so that shower was cold.
The flowers were beautiful, very friendly and helpful staff, the atmosphere was laid-back and enjoyable. The power outages were difficult at times.
Nice place to stay, nice staff. Simple but good spacious room. Nice swimming pool. Choice of breakfast (Indonesian & Western). Location is little off the centre of Ubud, you have to walk 15 min. to the centre. On the other hand the hotel is in a quiet neighbourhoud and a very relaxing place to stay.
i liked the location of the hotel, the silent atmosphere the room's cleaning service, the bathroom was very poor, dirty towels, the room's entrance door hasn't safe lock and from outside you could see the indoor space by fissure in the door, a fact which for who stays there alone terrified me.
Pool was good. Bathroom was very average
reading book on the morning at balcony
the hotel location in the top of mountain very hard to drive car to the top the open bathroom
Was upgraded to the penthouse which was fantastic - served as a great base for drinks with the wider group etc. We spent 2 nights in Ubud but could have easily spent longer there.
Very nice green territory, helpful staff, good breakfast... Just great for the price!
1) The frequent electricity outages 2) the very high & steep staircase leading to the 1st floor that is inconvenient to elderly folks and small kids 3) inflexibility to change rooms even after numerous requests 4) slow response frm staff.
