Hotel was very comfortable, food was good. The hotel have very good parking for the car. We choise this hotel because it was offer the parking. Everything was ok.
great location and good value for money everybody is cheating You when You want to change money so my suggestion use ATM
the room was of high standard,as was the staff
nice and clean room, free lan connection in the room, good breakfast, very close to the fair sometimes is a problem take the lift ( too busy ) and I could not eat at the restaurant : was empty but they asked to me to wait 20 minutes !!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! )
Perfect location and view, comfortable and very clean rooms, great breakfast. suitable for families with little children. they offer comfortable baby beds. the hotel was saying they have wireless internet connection. I only could use it in the lobby with my iphone.
I chose the hotel because of its location, which was very convenient for me. I liked the breakfast, which was great. The rooms were not very nice. The parking price is just ridiculous provided the parking space is not guarded and it is not an inside garage.
Good internet connection through cable (never seen WiFi there though). Breakfast is ok, there's some choice. The room is rather big, well-furnitured. Cleaning in the room was not that good; hotel reception is sometimes overcrowded, same is true for elevators in the morning.
The room was nice. We were on the tenth floor and had a great view looking toward the northeast. We were within a two minute walk to the tram which went directly to the Old Town. The internet was high speed and came with an ethernet cable attached to the telephone. When we booked the hotel we were told the parking fee would be 18 euros. We were charged 27 euros. When I questioned the extra parking cost at check out, the clerk became very combative. The hotel advertised a euro to krone conversion rate but charged us an entirely different, more costly to us, rate. The breakfast room was filthy despite the fact that I counted seven staff members standing around and chit chatting among themselves. The bar tender rolled his eyes when I asked for more ice in my drink. All and all, the staff was lacking in professionalism and needed much more training in providing friendly service to it's customers.
Too expensie for a hotel that claimed to be 4-stars, which in fact felt a lot like a 2-star hotel. The central heating/air-con system never worked during our 2 night stay and were told the heating wasn't on because 'it isn't a heating season' in early April. That doesn't explain the air-con system however!
Convenient connection to the public transportation Additional parking fee was too expensive (20% of the one night cost)
calm, nice breakfast and bar Telephone services should me more convenient
The hotel was definitely worth how much we paid for -free breakfast was very good with a wide variety of foods. there is no way it is a 4 star hotel. -no room service -no queen/king bed. they just put two twin beds together -wifi was terrible on the fourth floor
Excellent choice, centrally located-within walking distance from the old city center, clean, very good breakfast.. everything ok for that rate..
Clean and nice looking little hotel, breakfast selection was good, friendly staff no a/c in standard rooms. The hair dryer was stolen from an antique shop or what??? a bit of a walk to the centre
The room was very comfortable with tea/coffee making facilities. The prices at the lobby bar were much cheaper than in the main tourist areas The breakfast was ok. The cereal choice was poor. Also little fresh fruit other than an apple salad.
The location close to Prague 1 via tram; interesting Prague neighborhood as well (Prague 7), which offers an eclectic mix of restaurants and pubs No Wi-Fi in the room, just the lobby
Not far from the centre. Very small room; bathroom smelled like a chlorine factory;
Nice and helpful staff. Clean and practical rooms. Nice breakfast buffet, however limited to Czech products. Hotel is located at the border of the city centre and nicely accessible by tram.
Close proximity to the tram stop - so quick into the centre of town and to the castle. Clean and comfortable rooms.
clean, tidy, comfort room with enough space very expensive parking!!!! 18 EUR/per day, breakfast ok, could be better for the price payed, bad view
Good, quiet location with good public transport connections. Excellent buffet breakfast included in the room rate. Nicely refurbished rooms. Better internet connection would be a welcome plus.
Second time of staying here, it suits my needs very well, is comfortable, clean and offers free wifi. Easy access to the Metro and for restaurants
Nice breakfast, friendly and professional gentleman who was in charge of the breakfast. Price charged in Euros wasn´t equal to the current exchange rate, it was much higher than any other hotel is charging (as I work in hotel industry), we had actual amount in Euros, hovewer they had refused to take it from us because we had some coins, I had to use my credit card, and the price was much higher than the actual price of the room stated on the web site.
Of course Is it problems- this location, not so easy founded.
there were no coffee making facilities in the room - no kettle etc
nice, modern rooms, good location close to subway, free parking breakfast could be improved (no vegetables etc.), there is nothing to do in the location around the hotel
The hotel was lovely, rooms were clean and I loved the marble bathroom and the air-condition was priceless in this heat! Easy connection to the city centre, just don't be afraid to ask for direction in the reception. The girls behind reception desk were really nice and always ready to help us. This hotel was definitely worthy for the price. We had a great stay in Prague.
The hotel was quiet, very clean, very well designed. It is a very small place but has nice bar and restaurant. The included breakfast buffet was very nice. The food was fresh and included hot food and cold food. This was our first time to Prague so we didn't know that the location of the hotel was a little far from the city center. The train system was easy enough to use and in 10 minutes we could downtown but I think next time I will pay a little more to be close to everything.
Good meal in restorant in hotel
The Hotel is located on a quiet place of Prague, very closed to the metro station Holesovice, with connection to several tram lines as well. The Car parking is free and safe in front of the Hotel. The English speeking staff is fiendly, but they are not able to arrange any of the problems. The smorgasboard breakfast is good, the assortment is average but enough. The hotel restaurant is nice, the quality of meal is very good, the prices are acceptable. We were there in late September, the weather was pretty cool. Unfortunately the heating system did not operate, consequently the room was cold. The staff could not solve this problem, but they gave an extra blanket. The cleaning personnel left open the window for the whole day, so when we get back in the evening in the hotel, the room was so cold like the north pole (without heating). I suggest you to pay cash. I paid by card, but surprisingly I had to pay extra bank rates: the price was announced in Euro, in the first step the sum was changed into CZK on a very high rate, and then the CZK into HUF. So I paid about 10% more than I expected.
Clean, well kept modern rooms, helpful and friendly staff. Modern hotel very close proximity to the rail station and easy and convenient to get into central prague. only one english tv channel but this wasn't a drama for us.
Rooms are very clean. The Suite on the top floor is excellent-even with a fully equipped kitchen( that is perfect if you like to make tea, coffee or make a quick meal). Staff is just perfect- always ready to answer your questions and to find the necessary information for you. You made our stay perfect, thank you! Not so central as we expected. Taxi drivers can cheat you, but not the taxi companies the hotel cooperates with. It is cheaper to take a taxi from the airport, than to order airport transfer from the hotel.
I read some bad opinions about brekfast but now they are very very good with lovely place to eat outside. Sunny room with view on park. Good connections by tram with old town. Could hear few times a train (it is near railroad) but still you can sleep with opened window.
I was pleased by the calm environment of the hotel, the breakfast was great. We went to Prague to go to a concert, from this point of view it was the perfect hotel to stay in - 10 min walk from Vystaviste, where the concert took place. There was nothing disturbing about the hotel.
Excellent staff, nice decor & ambience, good breakfast. a very pleasant & good value stay. Tunnel construction nearby was noisy so that you needed to shut the window. Fine if you are ok with airconditioning.
The room was large, clean and stylish; very good value for money. The location would be the only let down, although that is the reason for the price. Relied on the tram, but only 10 minutes from the centre.
The breakfast was delicious and well-supplid. Room was clean and bathroom seemed quite new/renovated. The hotel itself was very peaceful and cosy. The hotel's staff was nice and helpful.
Nice clean and comfortable room the resturant of the hotel in the advertising isn't exist at the hotel. It's quiet far from the city center .in fron of the hotel having construction that always working at night that make very noisy
Staff is very nice and helpful. It is a true 4-star hotel
The service. The room a junior suite was big with a beautiful look out the windows.
Although, relatively, its not far from the old town centre (about 10-15 min walk), because you have to walk through a park to get there, it makes it necessary to use the metro or a cab at night. It has the effect of dissuading "quick" trips into the centre.
I just want to appreciate the contribution, devotion and determination of Ms. Lucy. I think she is really a valuable asset for the Hotel. I am thankful to her. Number of Staff seems to be limited.
General good Potential of housing Dirty/dusty Room, disgusting Dirty Sauna , no massages available, Services exposed unfulfilled
We liked the environment and the situation of the hotel. After exiting and busy visits in Prague you can fall back into a relaxing and peaceful environment. There is a huge gap between ambitions and reality in a hotel which claims a four star quality. The owner should think about a more extensive use of his income into qualified and more service personal.
Our room was lovely (even there are two small roof-windows?!?). The garden was enjoyable and the restaurant great. We loved the decor of the hotel. The service was great and the staff very helpful. The shower temperature control didn’t work well.
Staff was excellent
The breakfast is fairly good I hate everything about this hotel. The room is nothing like in the picture. The area is nothing like they describes "romantic". Eveyrthing is old and dirty. Crappy bed, small TV. Bathroom is small and hard to take the shower because the enclosed panel only half way and not stay still. The carpet is so old and dirty like public carpet. And they sold a bottle of water for 5 euro!
The garden was pretty and the staff pleasant. They do not have tea/coffee making facilities in the room as advertised, also there is no where you can get a tea/coffee during the day. The room faced the main room, as did the hotel and it was either boil with the window shut or sleepless night with it open, it was so noisy. All it was very smelley. The shower door fell off and hit me on the head! It was also at least 15 min walk to the nearest metro and then 2 stops to the main sights. The trip they recommend was a rip off. Most of the comments in the visitors book were not compliamentary.
Superior rooms are nice, especialli because of the design. The hotel is in a 130 years' old mansion and it conserves the general appearance. Nice hotel staff, helpful enough, speacking enough English to communicate. Nice restaurant, good food, consistent breakfast. Restaurant menu not varied.
spacious and comfortable room; Metro was closer than expected (5-7 min walk); perfect location for football games at Toyota Arena (CR vs. Germany 1-2 :-)) breakfast: small choice (but at good quality)
the aspect of the hotel and enviroment some of the receptionists ( male ) were not trained and cooperant
Having arrived around 8pm the check in was swift and courteous. The location is good for tram 5 and 12 to Holesovice Station and Tram 12 to Malostranska and Smichov Stations, Tram 5 operates to Hlavni Nadrazi Station.
Very nice and friendly staff! Parking actually is not for free. It costs around 8 Euros/day. I think this has to be changed in information at booking.com. Otherwise everything was excellent.
Great staff, clean room, adequate parking. TV was too complicated. Location was noisy (outdoor concert nearby)
we stayed there for 2 days because Radiohead were playing next to the hotel area, and we really appreciated that on the gig day they played Radiohead songs all day long in the lift and in halls :D no
The fresh and modern style of the hotel. The high standard of the food in the restaurant. The safe car park. The rough surrondings, especially between the hotel and the metro station.
i do not like their service girls in the restaurant. they seemed in a hurry to clean anything, making lots of noise, it is quite disturbing.
The hotel was very comfortable, the staff helpful and the menu comprehensive. We chose the hotel because of it's proximity to a car show that we were attending and would be quite happy to stay there again.
Clean hotel for a couple of nights. Liked morning breakfast included in the room price. Good selection of food. Dinner a la cart also good quality and value. Location is not the best, construction on the street was disturbing. Some distance to old town or downtown. Not much to do outside.
The hotel was very clean and comfortable out of the city enough for piece and quite convenaintly situated to get to the main city centre 7 minutes by tram a number 17 takes you straight there also you could get the a&e bus from the airport directly to the holesovice train station and then it was a 5 minute walk to the hotel or a tram ride. The hotel could have been signed posted for easy access did not see one sign if we did not know that it was close by the exhibition hall I think we would have missed it. The breakfasts could have been better not much choice as the meals at lunch or evening were really enjoyable good value for money.
Location Parking Charge
Placed exactly near the Expo area.
Car-park - great, breakfast - great, staff - great, position in Praga - great Incorrect photos on the web-side and different appearance of room. On picture looks much better, in real not so modern. But it's quite nice, comfortable, with bathroom, air conditioning, TV - you can rest well.
Very friendly and helpful staff Cigarette smoke smell in all the corridors, smell came into the rooms
We've enjoyed our staying there. Had no issues. Will recommend to anybody.
Good staff, good breakfast, clean rooms, good value for money, great restaurant. It's nice to have the fitness room, but there is only the walking equipment, which is useless for most tourists which walk enough anyway. I propose adding equipment of other types.
The staff is really great, very helpfull and kind. They have almost everything at the hotel, tram passes, cigarettes, stamps, and all can be charged at your bill. The price is really good with breakfast and wi-fi internet included. Our room was spacious with a big bed and was the only one with a balcony. There is a mexican restaurant in the hotel and food is fair enough. Access to Prague center is easy by tram 12 or by subway (about 15 min). They also give you a welcome drink and a bottle of water. I recommend it! There were some spiders in the balcony area.
I liked the atmosphere and the room. It is situated in a quiet district. the parking in the basement was narrow
It is a very nice and comfortable hotel near a metro station and not far from city's center. The staf was very polite and helpf\ul. I and my sister thank employees we had a deal with. No, there was nothing we did not like at the Plaza Hotel
Price. Easy access to public transportation. Facilities and service is more like a 2 stars as opposed to 4 stars as it claims.
restaurant, free use of the internet, friendly staff
Location and staff
Nice and patient hotel staff, pretty good service
hotel was very clean and comfortable good value for money suitable for mature couple as its a quiet location location was not suitable for young adluts as too far from centre re nightclubs and pubs food not good bar closed to early
Very clean and tidy. Quite a walk from the shops and the city itself, but a very scenic route. Slightly disappointed that there was no brewing facilities in the hotel room, however a very enjoyable stay.
good value for money hotel breakfast
Decent location and relatively good price. Night time public transport not so simple, but day time works fine. Sauna is not a sauna if you cannot throw water to the heater. Electric or something else, does not matter, the heaters are made for sauna. Lay some more stones on them and no problem to use water.
Food, near to the workplace, clean, price. The ladies at reception are not nice.
Hotel information on Web is wrong. Booking.com shows the Bathroom availability, "This facility is available for this room type. It might not be available for other room types." But in fact, it isn't. Hotel reception mistook the breakfast time of Monday. No food is available till 7:30. I couldnot have the breakfast, because airport bus time.
Breakfasts were excellent ; room was very nice ; access to public transport very good. No!
nice staff, good food
Clean, central location, good priced
restaurant 'friendly staff who tried there best to make are stay good and succeeded no full length mirrors which could be fitted inside wardrobes
They charged us much more than the rate I booked the room for. Not extra charges, flat rate for room was more than the reservation. Loud with young adults running through the halls and yelling throughout the night.
This hostel is the best I've stayed in. The beds are super comfy, the hostel is clean and the staff is outstanding - they give you very good tips and answer all your questions! It has everything a hostel needs, a well equipped kitchen, a pub downstairs, great and cheap breakfast, a BBQ and a beautiful garden in the backyard. The design of the hostel is very unique and beautiful. It's not a party hostel, but if you like to have a good time and meet new people, this is the place to go. Love it!
Staffs there were very helpful and friendly, my room was clean and with good facilities. Coz my room was just next to the street so there was a little bit nosie at night when cars drove by
The hotel really is great if you're not travelling by car. In front of the hotel there are a lot of parking spots by they are for residents (marked with blue) so a tourist cannot park there. You'll have have to take your car to a paid parking suggested by the hotel stuff which is at about 15 minutes of walking.
I've been very pleased with Sir Toby's: stylish/quiet rooms, very friendly and helpful staff and service. Sir Toby's is located close to the city center. In summary: A very good choice for having a lovely stay in Prague.
The staff was beyond welcoming, knowledgable and helful. They provided excellent service.
The great atmosphere, nicely designed rooms, quality at a very low price!
Good retro design, common kitchen, own pub, free internet, just one level beds, a lot of space, many lockers for every need. At individual room I had my own coffee machine. Just perfect for its money. It is situated far from city center.
Sir Toby's is one of the best hostels we have stayed at. We had a big charming room with a lot of space (5 beds) with our own toilet and shower. Cleaning was made every day. Really nice and informing staff at the reception - all of them! Reception open all day long. A cosy kitchen for making your own food, but also possibilities to buy a very good breakfast and/or take a beer at the pub in the cellar. A hostel with a very good atmosphere! (Prague was a really nice town to visit as well). -
We sayed in private room. Staff was helpful, room was nicely decorated. We also realy liked the bar with the vegetarian food (even I am not vegetarian myself) in tha basement. Highly recomended hostel!!! Not that I did not like, but for others it could be important - if you are looking for the place to stay after heavy late night parties in the centre it might not be the one, because it take some time to get there with a tram
Nice people, well facilitated, great atmosphere!!! Absolutely loved it.
