Price and staff, comfortable beds, helpful desk clerk. Slightly dingy decor and a little bit of a dank smell.
Bathrooms and updated bed linens very nice. Exceeded expectations parking a bit tight, but for City, good
Newly remodeled, looks nice. Hardwood floors, microwave and fridge in each unit. Beds so-so, everything else was great. LOTS of bad previous reviews about bedbugs - explains the hardwood floors and remodel. Front desk didn't have many amenities (wine glasses, steak knife, etc)
Great location right by the Golden Gate Park. Next time I will go to the Geary Parkway Motel.
Location was good with the bus stop right next door. Room is good and clean. Area is safe and has necessaries available near by. There is a good Indian restraunt nearby. Taxi faciity is good. Close to attractions but will need transport to visit them. Staff is helpful though sometimes we couldn't reach them. Having coffee machine and micro wave was very useful. All local calls were free which was very helpful in making the tour or taxi bookings. From the outside it is not impressive at all. The hotel staff is bare minimum. We had to take the tours from other hotels. There was no pick up or drop for the tours.
It was a great location close to family and very affordable. We have stay there before and we'll be back.
location the room is very small, a lot of noise coming from bus stop downstairs. breakfast is muffin wrapped in plastic bag
Very comfortable bed - really good quality mattress. Rare chance to park a car for free in the city. Henry's (owner) helpfulness much appreciated. Bus downtown from outside the door, also easy access by car to beach, Golden Gate park and bridge and to airport. Typcical motel room smell on opening the door but it soon disappeared with the fan on - nothing personal to this motel - just the usual motel smell.
Its location is not the best of neighborhoods, but for lodging in San Francisco it is a great deal; a bargain. The room was clean and comfortable; not a luxury place but fine for an overnight stay.
The motel is in The Richmond neighborhood and is close to so many things, places and restaurants. And the price is affordable, and FREE parking! There are 20 rooms and 12 parking spaces so a bit of a challenge. We left our car in the parking space and took the buses. SF has a great bus system. Rooms are well cared for and have most amenities. The manager is always there. Would stay again. Quite a bit of street noise. All rooms are non smoking but there are ashtrays outside the rooms, so people smoke right outside the rooms.
clean, good beds
Proximity of where I needed to be. It was nice of the desk man to allow me to leave my vehicle an extra hour after checkout. I asked for a quiet room when I checked in on-line. They gave me the room closest to the street and bus stop. I asked to be moved and got a room slightly further away but the quiet rooms were all in back.
