Staff is speaking french (doesn't help to have clear explainations on issues we had) - relatively quiet - close to highway : easy to drive from there to the main touristic and natural areas. We definitely not recommend this pretentious hotel Price we paid, 65 Eur/night, too much for Canary and for 2 star service and confort. Instead of room with view of the moutain, without explaination they gave us first a "bungalow" on floor -3 with view of another bugalow; it was stinking humidity and we asked immediately to change. They gave us another bungalow on floor -1 "as a favor" , this one with view of the sea. The tinty bathroom was stinking humidity and we never succeeded to have dry towel. Mattress is similar to what you can have in holiday camp. Plastic furniture on balcony used to be blank. Breakfast is very average (7 Eur/person) : the only one on the island without fresh fruit juice or at least bottles of juice. Dinner's worst ! Paying was a problem : no credit card receipt.
View, peace and quiet, availability of sun-beds. Lack of nearby facilities, shops, restaurants etc
Convenience for the purpose of our visit - daughter's wedding. Lots of space in our suite, excellent buffet breakfast, good bar and snacks service and the spa services we used were also very good. Full kitchen facilities if you wanted to self cater. Towels provided for the pool area. Finding a parking space can be tricky but we didn't enquire about using the hotel's undercover car park, as we did not know it was there until towards the end of our stay. Some of the sea view rooms are on the mountain side of the hotel with a view of the sea to one side and mountains to the other side, so do not overlook the swimming pool area. It would not have been an issue if we had booked the mountain view rooms. Double beds are 2 singles pushed together.
Although in a quiet part of the island, and needing a car if you are independent. (There is a free bus to Puerto de la Cruz). It was very accesible to all parts of the island. Hotel was good in all aspects although the food at dinner could have been hotter. All in all a good value for money Parking is a problem as there is no hotel car park but successfully found spaces free every day around the streets of the hotel.
Big and complete room, beautifull view, swimming pool and the very usefull shuttle service to Puerto de La Cruz. The restaurants services: twice they brought me dishes different from what I ordered (at the swimming pool restaurant), once they did not bring our drinks (at the dinner restaurant) and at the bar our order was complitely ignored!

The reception staff, the pools, quiet location, excellent free bus service into Puerto de la Cruz. The lack of a decent waiter service restaurant; totally over-run by Germans; poor, unhelpful to English, tour booking service.
