The Hotel was great, but the staff was outstanding, they were extremely helpful, kind and educated. We hope to return someday. Note: 10+
Friendly staff and comfortable rooms There was no food outside of breakfast
Very comfortable rooms. Friendly staff. Excellent value for money.
The hotel is just in the city center and easy to reach from airport by taxi. The staff are very kind and helpful. Our room was not very big, yet it was clean and comfortable.
The staff is very friendly and helpful.
everything ı liked ; the staff amazing ; helpful all time
great location, good size room, nice breakfast, very friendly staff... This hotel exceeded my expectations. Room was a bit hot, and AC did not help.
I stayed at the City Boutique Hotel betwen 12-14 of Feb 2010, it is very rare that a hotel ticks all the boxes at a very reasonable price (they have a special discount of 50% during weekends). I had earlier read other reviews about this hotel that were generally very good apart from a couple of them who called the breakfast poor. To be honest it did not seem poor to me in any sense at all - it had all the food and fruit you would expect for breakfast from a 4 star hotel and as fresh as it comes. The rooms were very very comfy, spottless clean and the staff was very nice and helpfull...it gets ten of ten for me and i highly reccommend it.
Great location and very friendly, helpful staff.
The hotel is modern and cosy, the position is very close to any city attraction. It is also perfect for business meetings in town. The breakfast is pretty poor, but the food looked fresh
A very central yet quiet hotel with helpful friendly staff. No bar or lift
The location was very good and ladies at the reception was excellent in greeting and providing the needed information
The location is excellent. Right in ithe old town where you want to be, staff were helpful with directing you with places to go. Breakfast was lovely. Not about the hotel itself, but if you arrive at the train station, there is no ATM or money change places, so make sure you have some smaller euro notes on you to pay for your taxi into the city center.
The location was great
Practically brand new hotel, situated in about the most central location possible. Most sights and every facility are within a 2 minute walk. The staff have a real enthusiasm for making a sucess of the venture and their professionalism was much appreciated. The odd teething problem, like the hot water ran out one morning, but I'm sure they'll fix it.
Excellent location right in the pedestrian zone in the middle of Sarajevo old town. Very helpful that there were signs directing you to the hotel from the Latin Bridge - could elsewise have been difficult to locate.
The Cleanliness of the hotel, the location and the friendly staff. One of the best hotel's I stayed in.
good location, nice staf
Attractive central location. Great views of mosque and old town. Large, light room with newly fitted bathroom. Friendly staff who spoke good English.
Large spacious room .comfortable big bed. Nice decor and very clean good location Was a bit noisey as it's right in the hussle and bussle. Also could hear the muslim call of prayer at 6.00 am from the adjacent mosque ;-(
Close to center It is not 4 star - and the the staff is like they are annoyed. Phone's not working, no mirror in the bathroom.
Location! Perfect location, 2 minutes walk from Bašćaršija, Begova džamija, Sarajevo museum, Sebilj and other cultural attractions.Hotell staff was very nice, smiled and always ready to help. Value for the money- parking, place to have breakfast and a place to sleep, near to everything. Thin wall, nose from the lobby (buy ear plugs, cause Drogerie Markt in Sarajevo doesn't have it), strange balconies that are shared among rooms, breakfast could be better (but you can always and grab a "burek").
Excellent location, clean and spacious rooms. Breakfast was pretty minimalist and not that great quality.
very pleasant stay. Friendly staff, great location.
The location of the hotel is excellent, the friendly and helpful staff, especially Melisa and Agnes were extremely welcoming and made our stay there very special. I would highly recommend this hotel to any traveler. I would love to go back there sometime. Any requests we had in the hotel were met and the girls went out of their way to ensure we had a pleasant stay.
the workers of entire hotel are definitely kind and cheerful. the location is also perfect. 2min to the baş çarşı where we can call as a center if any one wants to be in historical center. but i liked the people of hayat, really. thanks to them. it has a parking problem honestly and would nice to be more generous with the breakfast. breakfast is limited with basic table. And i don't think it would be problem for the hotel to put basic soap and shampoo in the room.
Close into the innercity of Sarejevo. It's a very new building. Carparking indoor voor one (mine) car. There was no airconditioning (35 C degree). There stood a third bed in te dubbelroom. No much room was left. No lift.
Great location, very friendly staff, nice rooms, excellent value for money. In the morning, you could hear some noise from the canteen. Bring some earplugs and it should not be a problem!
Excellent location near the Sebilj. Nice staff, spotlessly clean rooms, internet in all areas. Easy access to most areas of the city. Comfortable, if small rooms. I was disappointed to see it booked out on my return to Sarajevo. Not a bad mark, but infirm guests should know it's a very short uphill walk
My stay at the Halvat Hotel was great...the staff was extremely friendly and helpful in giving advice about where to go in Sarajevo. The location was great, as we were less than a 5 minute walk from the old town area. As far as the room, it was big, warm, and had a very comfortable bed. The WiFi in the room worked fine as well. I would definitely stay there again!
Everything was fabulous....room, spa, gym, pool, staff! They aren't great on small details eg. bed not made, only small towels given, breakfast doesn't follow the menu. But these do not detract from the hotel being great!
rich breackfast, great pool and gym; location in the center walking part near to the muslamic neighborhood with many shops (quite cheap stuff, but great and tasty restaurants).
Design, location are excellent! Can't find a hotel this small whit such an excellent pool and spa!
friendly personnel. not kept there promiss to repair some things
Wonderful location and staff. We stayed in a larger room which had a porch with a very nice view. Bathroom sink and shower are poorly designed (sink is way too high and water goes everywhere from the shower), but pretty.
We liked the big, comfortable bed with the many pillows, also the friendlyness of your staff
Wonderful and safe hotel in the heart of Sarajevo. No other hotel is so central! The pool, sauna, and GYM are totally free for guests! Also restaurant is extremely good and totally unexpensive. Is extremely important to book a central hotel like this: Sarajevo is a bit dangerous in the neighbours and you'll feel unsafe in small streets without people. Think seriously about it!
Very friendly staff, good location, additional hotel offer (swimming pool, sauna, fitness)
Location is very convenient. Staff was very helpful Breakfast menu could use some additions.
Close to old town and no problem to park the car on the street. Rooms are not standard. You should see different rooms if available before you pick one; otherwise you can get a really old room.
A short walk from Sarajevo 'old town'. Interesting interior design features, good breakfast buffet with CNN News in the breakfast room. Very helpful English speaking reception staff. No.
Kindness of the people workin. They treat you ike if you were in a family. Then, the location is really strategic. Bathroom is really very small, as well as the bed (I had a single bed)
Good location for exploring old city centre. Walking distance to all parts of the city. No bar or social area so difficult if travelling alone. No food other than breakfast.
Staff extremely helpful.
staff extremely friendly and helpful
Good location, simple but very nice. Good relatin price/quality.
The staff was very friendly, helpful and flexible.
The staff were most obliging, rooms newly refurbished and airy. Good to have breakfast included.
Excellently positioned near the old town of Sarajevo. The staff were friendly and personable. The breakfast was informal, plentiful and healthy. The air-conditioning was very welcome in very hot weather. The hotel was very suitable for a grown up family group of 5 people. There was a broken curtain in one bedroom.
Beautiful little place located right opposite the famous Latin Bridge, perfect location, with friendly staff willing to help you out with any of your needs
The locality to the old town and the latin bridge which is where we wanted to visit. n/a
Excellent location, friendly staff, free parking. The room was noisy (big electric station just beside). The requested "suite" (for 3 persons) was not really a suite (beds in the same unique room). The breakfast is limited.
Location! Location! Location! 100 metres from the spot where Archduke Franz Ferdinand was shot and 200 metres from the old Turkish area. Great fun! The hotel is spotless, the staff obliging and helpful, and the price is right.
The location of this hotel is absolutely superb. Just in front of the bridge where WWI broke out and few steps away from the city center.
new hotel in an old renewed building, central location, easy to reach, friendly accueil, nice and clean room, free internet
The location of the motel is perfect. All important point of the historical city is available in few minutes. The hotel staff is very kind and helpful.
Fabulous location ofr visitng hte Old Town.We were lucky to receive a room upgrae to the 'the apartment' (a very large room including kitchenette. (nil)
Friendly helpful staff and good location Very restrictive: you had to surrender keys before going out. Door was locked always so had to press bell and wait for staff to get into hotel. No guest tolerated in rooms. Was more like family B&B than hotel - this should have been disclosed beforehand on website as would have chosed something more modern
Good location for visiting Sarajevo. The beds were uncomfortable.
I liked it very much. The hotel has excellent location. It's just 200 meters from famous street Baščaršija. The hotel staff was very kind and helpful. They also rent a car for us, for just 50€ for two days. I recomend this hotel for young travelers.
Newly opened and right on the edge of the city centre, owned and managed by a kind and helpful family, shops in the vicinity open until late at night, a home away from home.
Good location and stuff, interesting building (renovated old muslim house - not in oriental style)
Wonderful! is the word to define the service of Motel Seher. It will be a bit classic but I have definitely felt at home with my family. The place is to feel the history of Sarajevo just one step from Bascarsija. It was the time to be in Sarajevo and Seher was the place to stay with its kind, very friendly and welcoming personnel. The atmosphere of the hotel was ever more than what I expect from a boutuique hotel.
Close to old town. Very poor breakfast, almost nothing to eat (less than continental), prepared in not fully clean place. We had serious health problems 2 hours after eating. We strongly do not recommend this hotel.
I can absolutely recommend this Motel! Location is great and it is the perfect combination of a hotel and pension in one. It has all the luxury of a hotel (nice breakfast, internet, clean and decent rooms) and it has the cosyness and hospitality of a pension, because of the helpful staff.
the location, it is five minutes walking from the heart of the city and the staff was very friendly I didnt enjoy breakfast finding out there was no normal coffee or a nescafè, not all travellers are used to turkish coffee
