staff is always pleasant and helpful. comfy bed and pillows
location few amenities
The staff was very pleasant and helpful, and the tapas and drinks in the restaurant were delightful!
We had to request that our bed sheets be changed as they were yellow and looked used . There was a dead roach by the elevator door for two days before they removed it
My first experience at the Four Points was adequate at best. The atmosphere that surrounded the hotel was the only feature I can actually say I was impressed with. The round column like building is a rarity and the lighting certainly set the mood. However, once inside it is a standard run of the mill hotel with little to nothing offered that leaves a lasting impression. My room was mixed up with a handicap room taking the interior decor down a notch. The bed was very uncomfortable, and the T.V. Did not work.
Central located A/C in our room was broke, super hot. The outlets over the TV didn't work and those where the only ones in the room. Dirty vents in the bathroom that you could see the lent. The place needs a deep spring cleaning. Might say Sheraton but it's a holiday inn. Staff did refund us the money for our stay so that was great customer service, then I got $88 charge that I have to call about and see what that is for. We didn't even stay the second night, just wanted to leave.
The staff was very nice, the room was clean, and the king size bed was comfortable. I would have liked a view of Tennessee street, but the parking lot view wasn't horrible.
Pool and price. Not the most comfortable.
Excellent room. Great layout of the room. I liked that room had safe. Huge shower Shower drain ran slow.
Very pet friendly! Staff was welcoming and helpful! Very clean and well kept! Great amenities! Wish I was staying longer!!
The staff was extremely friendly. Checking in and out was super fast, too. The rooms were metro style but totally adequate for a weekend stay. I don't care for some of the decor - it looked a bit cheap, especially the concrete floors and the rate definitely was the upper end. I know it is trendy but I don't find it to be consistent with the "boutique" hotel style.
Great hotel! Comfortable beds! Nothing
Very Friendly Staff, Clean smelling. Stylish. Noise from street. However I was able to remedy that by turning on fan to drown out sounds. I had read the reviews going in and already knew this.
with a limited amount of hotels available in Tallahassee, that are not cockroach infested, Aloft is a good choice mirror was broken in the bathroom, one towel, staff was not very friendly
Air conditioner was so loud wekas to turn it off
Amazing shower and the room felt large, well desingned. Very eye pleasing to be in.
The Lobby area with small bar, pool table, and cafe was quaint. All emloyees we encountered were very professional and polite. Waited at least 10 minutes to check in. Not enough employees. Employees MULTITASKING, covering cafe, helping customers with ice etc... not giving ALL attention to front desk. Three people lined up to check in and ONLY ONE person to help customer. VERY STERILE, COLD, environment in room. SMALL!! (two queen beds) air conditioner on floor, table over it ALL blowing on bed nearest to it. NO OTHER air vent that we could see. HOT as you know what trying to put on make up and blow dry hair in area BEHIND beds and air conditioning/ with seperate wall. Thank goodness I travel with floor fan for noise, to use when it got to hot....or would have to go around corner where ALL the air conditioning was to cool off, while my daughter who had the bed with air blowing on her was FREEZING. Oh yea, shampoo and conditioner in one on wall along with body wash that came out in little spits at a time, AND.... one-ply toilet paper. TOO GREEN for us. We look for warmth and comfort when traveling away from home, especially after hard days work. I have to say employees were VERY courteous and warm. They did the best with what they had do work with. We personally did not like the ART DECO decor. To each his own.
Great staff For it's size good workout room $40 dollars for an eight dollar bottle of wine is ridiculous. Overpriced bar for Tallahassee No dresser to put away clothes paid virtually 2x more on booking.com than my brother did as a walk-up no real restaurant
Comfortable and convenient
Nice clean room Door wouldn't close properly
Location and price Noisy at 11pm at night. Could hear upstairs. People running around and knocking on doors.
Quite, close to every thing, OK breakfast bar, clean room The bed mattress seems thin and cheap I could feel the spring below me. Not comfortable.
Worse place we have ever stayed in. Stained carpet. Hair clippings in sink. Dirt everywhere.
The hotel doesn't look like much from the outside, but the room was surprisingly nice and quite clean. I had no issues whatsoever, especially at the price I paid. The location off the highway and near a number of restaurants and coffee shops is quite good.
I didn't stay Found a cockroach inside the freege
The room was spacious and clean for the cost. I did not have any problems doing my stay and would recommend the hotel to others. No microwave in the room.
Internet connection was horrible
They had a large picture over the bed which fell off its bracket onto me as I was sleeping. Yes, woke up with broken glass everywhere. Went downstairs to see the night auditor, he only recommend me the manager number and another room. I call a friend, left the room. Didn't ask me if I was okay or did I needed to see a doctor. A small on my head from the broken glass. Talk with the manager the day, same thing from him. Only he said I didn't book the room thru them, so there was nothing he could to finance.
Staff is great. I love the customer service. Miss Yolanda always make me feel welcome.
I felt safe and looked clean. It was a good value for the price. The person at the desk told me she would switch my room to non smoking and implies she had been successful but I assume was not because the smoke smell was evident. Plenty of parking. Convenient to FSU I was booked in a smoking room because there was no nonsmoking rooms available. Even the lobby had a smoke scent
Very courteous staff, only spent the night as I was using it as a pit stop, right off the highway which was great and It has a Waffle House next to it, great! Had breakfast and kept on with my trip.
The location and the cleanness.
It provided literally a roof for the night, the room appeared clean until we started walking around the room. First off, we checked in at about 7pm and when my husband asked for directions to the room he was told "the rooms have numbers" there were two buildings that are part of the hotel. The "non smoking" room reeked of smoke, we turned on the ac to see if it helped (it did not). The bathroom was disgusting there were stains on the back of the door as if someone threw liquid onto the door, there was hair all over the floor and there was stains on the bed sheets.
Nothing amazing but was clean and up to date
The staff was friendly and the hotel in great shape; seriously one of the nicest places I've stayed for the price This particular night, there were some loud guests in the surrounding rooms, but I was able to power through (I was too tired to care). Around 1:30 a.m., though, there was loud knocking on the door, and then one of the attendants barged in on my room. He quickly apologized and said he was just doing a building check or whatever, but at 1:30 a.m.? Hella weird. The next day I asked if there was something that happened, and the clerk explained there were some folks causing a lot of noise. I'm assuming the strange intrusion in my room was related, but it was all bizarre. Otherwise, it was a nice place.
ROOM WAS CLEAN AND STAFF WAS NICE GETTING OUT OF THE CAR WITH TWO CHILDREN OF WHICH ARE GIRLS TO DRUNK MEN WITH BEER BOTTLES PILED UP ON THE DOOR STOP, A MAN SMOKING WEED ON THE 2ND FLOOR, THE NAKED WOMAN PULLING HER CLOTHES OFF IN THE PARKING LOT SCREAMING PROFANITITY BRCAUSE SHES GEEKED OUT OF HER MIND.....THAT ABOUT SUMS UP THE NEGATIVE HIGHLIGHTS OF THIS HOTEL
Quick check out
Pimp tried to hook me up w/a "girl who's new in town" wasn't trying to talk with anyone. Loud party going on and drunks hanging out. Location and price
Excellent location and very friendly staff. Great value for the money.
The price was good agenest other hotel prices but the hotel was really dirty. I had to clean the room before I could let my daughter use the bathroom or take a shower. There was ant and hair everywhere.
Checked in late and the room we were assigned was propped open, beds unmade, lights on, tv on. Went to get a new room, same situation with a different room. Given a third room which had significant amounts of mold growing in the bathroom. Very dirty. Ended up getting a refund and going to a new hotel in a different city.
Clean rooms Dark parking lots...felt unsafe leaving my room at 6am! Couldn't even see my car. I had to turn on the flashlight on my phone to see where I was going.
Room was clean and comfortable. Check-in tool forever and they couldn't find me at first. I asked for a late check out but it wasn't noted so I got woke up earlier than I wanted to and the front desk staff who called me after I didn't open the door for house keeping was rude.
Not able to check in at 2am as the only staff person was overwhelmed with a long line of people and actually quit, ran out of the building and threw the keys away
The room was large, and the bed was comfortable. It was a good location and a good value. The room could've been cleaner, especially the bathroom. There was a hair in my towel, I suppose it could happen. There was a lot of people outside the hotel and it was noisy until late, so this hotel is more suitable for young couples than families.
The room was ok. It was quiet. Next to an IHOP. I didn't get the room I reserved with the fridge and microwave...which I medically needed and that's why I asked for it. The bathroom was dated and had what looked like mold on the ceiling over the shower area. The carpet in the room was filthy and stained. The white sheets had yellowed stains and the towels and wash cloths were scarce. I asked for more linen and had to wait 30mins. The key card was deactivated many times. The breakfast was horrible. Thankfully there was an IHOP near. The cleaning crew was very nice, but the clerk was mean. He did not smile nor try to help when I explained my situation about getting the wrong room. He simply stated I booked third party and they have nothing to do with what they tell me. He said there are no more rooms with fridge and microwave, but I saw many. He said they are all reserved, which I find hard to believe since some were still empty when I checked out. I will not stay there again.
No hot water. Dirty. I'm still trying to forget the purple goo left in the bathroom.
Morning continental breakfast was standard. Having a waffle maker available is definitely a plus. If not, there's always an ihop next door. The pool had some bath scrubs in them... Only unclean thing that really caught my eye.
I was moved from a faifly nice clean room, when the ehater broke, to the dirtiest beat-up room I've ever stayed in...went tomfront desk to change, but line was so long afyer 30 mins. gave up and went to bead anywyay... Never again would stay here while in Tallahassee
Fridge in room. Soft beds. Shower didn't drain properly.
I liked the location and it was extremely clean. That 3pm check in sucks! Especially when you get there and you don't get a room until after 4. Wasn't offered anything for the inconvience either. It was extremely noisy atmosphere, I didn't sleep well, there was a lump in the bed, the other bed had sheets on it that looked like razors cut into it. The tv didn't work, there was no phone in the room. SMH. Some stuff just didn't make any sense to me.
Great location Room was humid. The sheets and bed felt damp and the carpet did not feel clean.
Ate at Shula's restaurant, which was very good. Just high priced. Location is very convenient. Staff at hotel and restaurant very friendly and helpful. You could hear everything that went on in the hall. Rooms are noisy. The smoke alarm in the room across went off and they couldn't turn it off for awhile. Didn't know there was $15 charge for parking.
Location is perfect, staff friendly and efficient, rooms are very nice and having a Shula's 347 at the hotel a real plus. Was very disappointed with thev $15 a night parking. So my stay was not the $149 advertised. Bait and switch?
Clean sheets This is a hotel that gets a lot of traffic. Its clean but the room smelled like spray deorant and the floors had carpet which was not great flooring for the cost of the hotel. Also forced valet parking. Other hotels priced less offer comparble amenties for less.
We were in town for the weekend for a wedding. I thought the hotel was very nice. Clean. Modern. The staff was friendly. Overall I enjoyed the hotel and would recommend to a friend. Level 8 bar was very nice too. The balcony was spacious and had a nice view to sit, relax, and enjoy a drink.
Spacious room Friendly staff Blood on sheets first night
Efficient use of space. Clean. Concise. Met all our needs nicely.
Convenient location, clean room, helpful staff
Cleanness, nice staff, comfort, convenient hours for breakfast The whole thing
Very clean. Toilet room separate from shower area so family can get ready faster to go out and about. Exactly the same as Springhill Suites we stayed at in Anchorage. So it's nice to know what your getting no matter where you go. Very roomy with separate sitting area. Has microwave, too. Free breakfast downstairs had such a variety of things. More than just coffee and danish. We will always look for Springhill Suites where ever we go. There was nothing I didn't like.
The rooms were very clean and comfortable. Nothing really
The hotel was up to my reasonably high standards in cleanliness, comfort & customer service. Security was of some concern. My door lock didn't seem very score but the security bolt was good.
Location Room 114 smelled terrible. It was old, and water from shower leaked into wall. But it was about $80 so it was ok. Little coffee maker worked and had iron for close. Pool was right infront, so u could hear everything... "marco polo!"
Beds were comfortable, rooms quiet Tub leaked and continually waste water. Electrical outlets were worn needing replacement. Coffee was low quality.
NOTHING WAS GOOD ABOUT THIS EXPERIENCE AT THIS HOTEL! WE REACHED THIS HOTEL AT 3AM AFTER TRAVELING ALL DAY AS A STOP ON OUR WAY TO OUR FINAL DESTINATION. WHEN WE ARRIVED WE WERE TOLD THERE WAS AN ISSUE WITH OUR RESERVATION AND THAT WE NEEDED TO CONTACT EXPEDIA. WE WERE GIVEN NO INFORMATION ON WHAT THE MATTER WAS ABOUT. THE NIGHT MANAGER WOULD NOT TELL US ANY INFO AND WAS SO RUDE AND UNPROFESSIONAL. SHE CARED MORE ABOUT WATCHING TV THEN ASSISTING US. WE TRIED TO CONTACT EXPEDIA WITHOUT ANY HELP. WHEN WE FINALLY GOT SOME INFORMATION ABOUT OUR RESERVATION WE WERE TOLD OUR RESERVATION HAD BEEN CANCELED, BY WHOM THEY WOULD NOT DISCLOSE. WE DID NOT CANCEL THE RESERVATION SO IT WAS CLEARLY AND ERROR BY THE HOTEL. WE WERE THEN TOLD WE WOULD NOT BE ABLE TO STAY AT THE HOTEL BECAUSE OF THE ISSUES. AGAIN IT WAS 3AM IN THE MORNING AND WE HAD SPECIFICALLY RESEVERED OUR STAY AT THIS HOTEL BECAUSE WE WERE TRAVELING WITH A DOG. WE ENDED UP SLEEPING THE CAR BECAUSE WE COULD NOT FIND ANOTHER HOTEL. THIS WAS THE WORST EXPERIENCE. THIS HOTEL IS AWFUL AND I WOULD NOT RECOMMEND A STAY HERE EVER. I WOULD ALSO BOOK WITH CAUTION IF USING EXPEDIA. THEY OFFERED NO HELP OR COMPENSATION AFTER WE FOLLOWED UP WITH THEM A FEW DAYS LATER. VERY DISSAPPOINTING!
Close to the highway The room smelled bad, the bathroom smelled of mold and mildew, the comforters were stained, the door looked less than secure. If we had not arrived so late, we would have found another place to stay.
Friendly staff. Loved the social hour with food. So special!!! Would have liked the pool to be heated.
The room was huge & fully equipped with a full size kitchen, although we were only there one night. Breakfast selection was good with average quality.
Great breakfast selection. Convenient location. Has option of 2 bedrooms and a kitchen with a small living room. The room I had this time (I have stayed previously) was apparently trashed by the previous customer. The bathroom doorknob was broken and mended, bath towel bar broken, rug was stained all over, doors were stained (specially the 2nd bedroom one), ottoman was shredded.
I was charged multiple times for one room.
Nicely sized rooms, comfortable beds and pillows, friendly and efficient staff. Poor Wifi signal in rooms.
Good meeting room setup with current technology. Starbucks inside the hotel. Clean and comfortable rooms.
The facilities were dated. I expected something more from a Marriott Courtyard.
Room was a little dirty
staff was very good bed To high for older people
Friendly staff. Wonderful location. Convenient places to eat. Despite it being a daytime game (and the ever-present humidity)... it was a pleasant walk to Doak. Housekeeping could clean better. It's the little things: move the chairs around and clean up under it. It wasn't gross and nasty stuff, but it was a letdown. Some debris and paper underneath. Completely uncalled for (especially for the price per night). The bathroom had a water leak. Wish it had an elevator for hauling luggage down.
No surprises, no hiccups in check in, price, or checkout. Room was clean, spacious, and the bed was extremely comfortable. Was here for one night only to attend nieces graduation from FAMU, and the lication was perfect. Easy access to shopping, restaurants, and graduation venue. Probably get a cheaper rate but for the convenience and quality of room and servuce I think it would be hard to beat the value. One night stay. It exceeded our expectations.
Comfortable beds with appropriate bed covers; nice TV with good channel selections; coffee maker; CLEAN bathroom; and accommodating staff (gave us desired floor). N/A
I liked the hotel, just needs some accommodation I wish they could just get rid of the carpets, the room is nice and clean but the carpet give out a smell that takes away from the appearance of the room.
Right off the interstate Weird smells, dirty elevator, small breakfast
My biggest concern when traveling is cleanliness then price. I love getting a good deal. This was awesome!!
Low price Whole place smelled like cigarettes even non smoke rooms and corridors. Vending machine didn't work. They have to buzz you in front door. Pictures on Web not accurate.
Cockroaches in the room, bathroom, and floor. Hair in the shower. Carpet was dingy. Overall I would NEVER stay here again.
It was fine. Carpet in the room was old and stained. I think all rooms ahould remove carpet.
The hotel hall way smell to cigarette. My room was a non smoking but you can smell the hallway and my clothe came back with a strong cigarette smoke smell.
Had a nice breakfast bar , spacious room, evening get together with food Room smelled like a wet dog and later like reheated fish
Cleanliness, quiet, friendly staff, hotel gym, breakfast buffet The rooms are designed so that the bathroom sink is viewed by all, so there is no privacy at the sink. There should be a bathroom door that closes off the sink area from the rest of the room, the way it's done in most homes and other hotels.
Convenience Breakfast included Location Friendly staff The horrific smell in our room that remained for the duration of our 3 day stay. Smelled like a litter box. Was booked solid so had to put up with it. No offer to locate and eliminate the source. Just to change rooms but were none available. Would have been great otherwise.
Reserved room with two queen beds a month before we got there. Called the night on the way. Got there had a king bed with pull out sofa! Had to move furniture and set up pull out at midnight. And the room smelled
Any hilton is always a very nice place to stay I didn't like the price of the hotel just because it was graduation the prices went up. Also I was not told a $40 charge will be taken off my card but have yet to get refunded
No serious complaints. The bed seemed a little hard to me overall the room with comfortable. Cleaning staff were a bit loud we could hear them laughing and talking in the halls while we were still asleep. The front desk staff were very friendly
The staff was extremely courteous and put in the extra effort to make our stay even more comfortable and enjoyable! After our evening check in, we were making some hot chocolate to have with our cookies and we were offered whipped cream. She was so kind and pleasant from the start! The room had everything we needed and expected from our frequent stays at Hampton Inn. A nightlight was a plus since our bathroom light switch is connected to the fan. Love that the hotel makes the effort to be environmentally friendly too. Would definitely stay here again!
We couldn't check in until 6pm because the football team was there. We did not know until we arrived in town at noon. The general manager Sophia was very helpful as well as Trey on the night shift.
Breakfast was nice . Location was perfect . Comfortable and clean . Not all staff were professional .
