Kontra: We did not get on the flight, there was no staff available to check in our bags. Everyone we spoke to was rude and abnoxious at Brisbane airport. The only people were lovely and helpful were the volunteers in the blue shirts who tried to direct us in the right direction. We finally got on a flight and still had to pay for it.

Pro: I couldn't get to the Flight. I was told that the boarding closed. I reached there exact 30 minutes before the Flight. I didn't receive my Itenary Email and Flight Details in Email from BYO Jets.
Kontra: The flight was extremely delayed and appeared to be the turn around time due to the flight arrival time and the passengers on the flight unloading. I note that my departure flight was also delayed significantly. This return flight delay caused me to miss my flight, even though I had a good buffer.
Pro: Cabin crew pretty so-so. No food to buy, no tea or coffee. Just water.

Kontra: Flight time rescheduled meaning we had very little time for connecting flight. Then they checked our luggage in (weighed 8.5kg and only 7 allowed (charged $108). The booking in of the bags meant one of our party missed connecting flight. She arrived at gate while plane was still there and Capt said he would wait but ground staff over-ruled decision. Not happy.

Kontra: Boarding exceptionally slow due to intensive screening of each passengers hand luggage. Opportunististic for making an extra $36/bag if a gram over 7. Seat unable to recline. Literally not enough room for legs and needed to sit sideways and I’m not that tall!

Pro: Everything went smoothly as on earlier experiences. Friendly and helpful staff at airport.
Kontra: The departure gate was not displayed on the electronic board at the airport until an announcement that boarding was 'commencing' which caused some unnecessary anxiety.
Pro: Helpful checkin staff and air stewards. Ran on time and would pick Tiger over Jetstar.

Impressive for our first flight with Tiger
Pro: Much better than Jetstar in every way , especially the legroom
Kontra: Our Monday evening flight was cancelled (midair so we wasted a night flying halfway there and back). 3 hours waiting to be told the next available flight is Friday evening. Told we would be refunded for accommodation costs up to $120 per night per person. 2 weeks later and yet to see that money. There is no inflight entertainment or food. Hand luggage is weighed at the airport and it is $50 if you are over 7kg

Kontra: No leg room (, I’m short.) Bad seat pockets, reduced knee room even further with anything in them. Armrests didn’t stay up. -the weighing of all hand luggage was over zealous, and could only be for the purpose of charging extra, if at all possible.

MoveMe Hard to Use!
Pro: The staff were fantastic, very professional, friendly and helpful. On board wine and food was surprising with some gluten and dairy free options and a sparkling Tempus Two.
Kontra: I purchased MoveMe to allow me to change to an earlier flight if my schedule changed. It did, and I arrived at the airport over an hour before the earlier flight was due to depart. I attempted to use the MoveMe option at the check in Kiosk and discovered it is not available at the kiosk. On speaking to a ground staff member, she advised that I was in plenty of time to move to the earlier flight, she confirmed that on a recent print out there were quite a few seats available and I simply had to go to the Service Desk.... which had a queue of approx. 8 people. Unfortunately, it took approx 20 mins to get served and it was now too late to get on the flight. If Tigerair are not resourced to efficiently manage face to face service then the MoveMe option must be available through the kiosk. This was an incredible waste of my time with well over 2 hours spent at the airport.

Kontra: The plane was delayed 3.5 hours, no text and no message, even though it had been delayed from earlier in the day. The ground staff were disinterested and in no way apologetic... Nevet Again
Tiger Service Leaves a Lot to be Desired
Pro: New Generation 737 aircraft. Leg room good. Boarding fast with Queue-Jump.
Kontra: Third successive time my prepaid meal hasn’t been delivered. Never get a refund. Cabin crew pretty average. Captains & First Officers need more practice in simulator on smoother touchdowns!

Pro: Price is right. It's such a short flight that it's almost possible to ignore the discomfort.
Kontra: Late arrival of previous flight so late taking off. No leg room for anyone even slightly taller than average.

Kontra: Seat space is cramped for a flight anymore than an hour . I think its quiet dangerous on a long flight , given the prospect of deep vain thrombosous.
Paid for seat...Tiger oversold flight. Delayed more than 4 hours.
Kontra: Oversold flight. Paid for a ticket to get home to attend mother's 70th birthday...Tiger resolved the problem by putting me on a flight more than 4 hours later. Missed my mother's birthday. My compensation - an $85 credit on an airline I will NEVER fly again. They can never compensate me for my missing family memories.
