the bathroom is old, should be reniewed
Compared to the Campanile hotel in Chartres the accommodation at Toulouse was very poor and not very clean but more expensive.
Nothing Scruffy. Grounds dirty. Aircon did not work. Depressing low grade hotel. Never again relying on your description.
The hotel is located in a quite though central place in Toulouse, there is a lot of free parking spaces in the area. Environment much nicer than in the old city. The room was a bit small. No elevator, we had to the carry our luggage up the stairs.
Helpful English-speaking staff. Very quiet. Very clean, comfortable room, bath in the bathroom. I arrived at 13:00, and the room was not ready. As their official check-in time is 14:00, no complaints. A little bit too far from the city center, though it is easily accessible by metro - a metro station is some 300 m from the hotel.
The manager of the hotel spoke excellent English and was very kind, pleasant and helpful with any questions/queries that we had. Gave out maps and information. Breakfast in morning was excellent value and was very substantial. The room was spotless and had plenty of hot water, clean towels etc. Hotel was very quiet at night, no problem with sleeping and bed was good.
Small hotel with excellent stuff. Located close to Metro station and just 20min walk distance to Toulouse centre.
warm, friendly welcome.Clean tidy, small hotel close to metro into city centre. There is no parking, but we found a space in the next street. Staff helpful with information about Toulouse.
Friendly and helpful staff (left some things behind and managed to recover them after 2 days). They are trying to do best with that old hotel. Solo business traveler only - would not recommend for families. Just "sleep and go". The hotel is fairly run down, wifi works only in the lobby, bath but no proper shower, breakfast rather poor. Surrounding rather industrial.
nothing particular. needed it just for a one-night stay on my route elsewhere.from route-planning point of view the location was o.k. - just on the road. shabby-looking in general both exterior and interior, located in industrial area,
seen the city it was to far away from everything
The sdatff were excellent, friendly and willing to try English - we were able to laugh and understand each other there was no plug in the bathroom sink which made it difficult for my husband to shave. I found the mattress very hard.
Ideal for a one night stop over onto somewhere else.
we could not get into our room with our card and the hotel was really far out
despite the poor standard, clean towels and bed linen were provided every day. Sticky, small boxes, worn furniture, AC not working.
Ease of booking in at a foriegn destination
Nothing No phone, dirty, noisy. Window do not open without someone looking in!
Ease of Booking in
just off the motorway easy access. Breakfast good. Bed as hard as a brick not a lot of room in the room.
The hotel was very basic, but clean and comfortable. This hotel would be very good for someone just passing through France for an overnight stop - I woul not suggest this hotel for a weekend trip to Toulouse! In the review of the hotel it is said to be situated close to the town centre (10 minutes) Unfortunately I think you would have to be able to fly to get to the town centre within 10 minutes. The nearest train station was at least 2 miles away and thene it was a further 10 minutes on the train. There were no buses on the weekend to the station - we had to walk. Unfortunately the area was quite industrial and very close to the motorway. I would not recommend this hotel for anyone wishing to spend the weekend in Toulouse.
