The hotel was incredible. The staff were so friendly and helpful. We felt really pampered and looked after.The villas were amazing. Everywhere was so clean and well maintained.

Location is awesome, yoga was very good. Pools are lovely. All staff said hello and smiled. Comfortable bed
Something just seemed a bit off about the whole experience. There was a noticeable lack of management presence and the resort ambience was a bit vanilla. Service at the pool restaurant very hit and miss, same with turn down service. Main restaurant closed for dinner and the breakfast offering was mediocre. Massage in Forest Spa was ok but not amazing. Felt more welcome/special when we visited Viceroy next door for dinner than we did at Kamandalu. Possibly struggling because of low occupancy?

Beautiful and comfortable. Stunning views and friendly staff. Zen environment and the roof top at the room makes it perfect
Not at walking distance from Ubud center but the shuttle from hotel is always available
