Beautiful inn, comfortable beds, welcoming hosts, and amazing breakfasts.
Wonderful and quaint B&B. The staff was more than helpful and the breakfasts were to die for. While having breakfast a young doe walked her fawn in front of the porch where we were dining. Lovely place! There was nothing not to like
Best B&B we ever lodged in! Beautiful grounds and location, expert sight seeing advice from the innkeeper, spectacular and updated rooms and delicious food (I even bought the cookbook!). We just fell in love with the Fairholme. No! It was perfect
Sylvia and Ross were wonderful hosts. We experienced extremely friendly staff and a relaxing atmosphere during our stay and the breakfasts were top notch. We have found our go-to accommodation when we return to Victoria. Not at all, everything was excellent.
Beautiful home with exquisite attention to detail. Rooms are spacious and well-equipped. Hotel employees were fantastic hosts. The breakfasts were heavenly and abundant enough that we skipped lunch. Highly, highly recommend.
Beautiful and charming home. In keeping with the era of the home yet modern conviences and well appointed decor. Welcoming Hosts Sylvia and Ross are friendly and knowledgeable about the area. Impressed that they remembered both our names. Wonderful, do it
It was situated in the ideal location for us. I love old world charm and this 100 year old building in a lovely residential neighborhood certainly retained that. One cannot ask for more when it is situated next door to a castle ! Very quiet and peaceful The bathroom did not have hand soap, tissues or shampoo. I had expected those amenities as standard fare.
quite beautiful scenery, kind, clean room, nice kitchen.
The character and the delicious breakfast. The easy check-in and check-out system. missing shelves in the shower for toiletries.
The living room and breakfast area were beautiful and new looking. The owner kindly compromised when there were big problems to solve. And the neighborhood was lovely. The rooms were terrible. They were dirty, stained carpet, cramped; no clock, tissues, reading lamp, or simple amenities. Oneshower caddy was rusty, & the bathroom door wouldn't close. Holes in wall in hall w/light hanging by a wire, paint fumes.
The Prior Castle Inn was a wonderful spot, rich in history and very unique. It really went beyond me expectation of a hotel, in fact it didn't feel like one at all. Our host was wonderful, so helpful and genuine It was a bit of a trek to downtown Victoria, but we knew that beforehand, so its not a complaint, merely something to consider as a future guest. Walking would would take approx 35 minutes, and a cab would cost around $10. The WIFI was also quite weak.
The building itself has been renovated but it needs a little more tlc on some detsils.
