Location and amenities (free, excellent wireless) Marginal breakfast
good hotel. not entirely clean.
Good location, clean room. The noiseist point on the planet on a Friday and Saturday night, especially if you are staying at the ground rooms. Seriously noisy until 5 am.
the interior design of the room.and the breakfast the receptionist in the evenig aswell in the morning were lacking of hospitality.Iin the evening it took time to sort out some room organisation and took time to get the room. In the morning the breakfast was not open at 7 am.The hotel closes door in the night against drunkenpeople. whilst 24/7 is given service with 4*.receptioninst do not stay at the desk. You cannot enter the hotel with your card or something as client.
I asked for a non smoking room and was surprsed that a hotel of this size and price did not have rooms designated non smoking let alone non-smoking floors. I had to ask for the room to be deodorised which was done but it all seemed to be a bit of an effort and I felt uncomfotable. Also there was a daily charge to use the safe in the room- quite a high charge for such a passive servuice. As the booking covered the weekend I had no option but to stay put. There seemed to be very few other facilities on offer either, the resturant was downstairs out of sight and the bar seemed not to be operating
Location, style of rooms and the size, they were very large A/C did not work right and room was very hot
Good location. Friendly staff. Hotel & room modern & clean. none
nice location city centre, in the centre of all activity no
Very good hotel. We payed only 50 euro for a room. The hotel is just perfect and the location also.
This Hotel is central.Zaragoza is an interesting city.A useful stop-over. Finding the car park difficult. Breakfast not good value for money, apart from toast, nothing hot available !
Staff very helpful and pleasant. Rooms were comfortable, though can be a little noisy outside with traffic and people. It had a lift too. no
room cleanliness and 24h availability
Nice hotel very near from touristic places in Zaragoza city
The hotel is in the heart of Zaragoza with easy parking. Zaragoza is amazing and only 15 minuits from the track at Zuera. going to work early
Perfect location and very friendly staff Breakfast very basic
Location, cleen room, breakfast included in the price. Poor breakfast, walls not acustically isolated - noise from the adjoining rooms and from the outside were annoying.
I have stayed at this hotel before and I like the location. no
Our stay at Avenida was really nice, clean & safe. Location was ideal. Zaragoza is very interesting and we enjoyed the friendlyness.
The welcome ...and access to snacks and water in the lounge.
It is a design hotel: nice bathroom, wide screen tv, decoration attractive. Hotel is in the middle of the centre. Breakfast had a lot of choices. Shower temperature kept changing: from very cold to almost boiling hot: dangerous!
The room itself was perfect - it was the last leg of our "minimoon" and after lots of typical Spanish hotels this hotel gave us a good rest: the bed was huge and comfortable; wifi actually worked; it was very spacious and modern and the shower was strong - the jacuzzi bath was a nice touch too (we stayed in Avanza - one of the superior doubles/suites for eur99).
I really liked the location and the comfort of the room. Everything was quite pleasant. Our shower was leaking and we had to mop the tiled floor, so that it wouldnt run down the next floor.
The location is very central No English TV channels, no spa facilities
A relatively small hotel, but very central for shopping and sightseeing.Good underground car park.
good location. hotel staff were not friendly. coffee at breakfest was bad. It is absolutely overpriced (212 Euro per night without breakfest).
Good staff Internet not working
We have stayed at the Silken Zentro many times and always enjoy it. The hotel is very central and within walking distance to everything. The rooms are modern and comfortable and the staff very accommodating. We also like it because they have parking beneath so checking in and out is easy. It is a very modern hotel built on top of the ancient ruins that exist all over Zaragoza and that are on display through glass in this hotel.
Comfortable room, well equipped close to sights and shops
wonderful shower mirror didnt steam up. very comfortable bed & room good breakfast the entrance looked dull & didnt create a very good impression
Location, design Shower door should avoid water to go to the bathroom floor
Close to everything fun Terrible wifi
Location, location, location. Price, price, price
The location was very central Too close night time activities which was noisy. Wi Fi difficult to access
Very nice location. Unfortunately, our room was riverside. Therefore we could not see beautiful sight.
central location parking difficult to find - need to cross bridge, go into bus-taxi lane and immediately after hotel take very narrow lane. Breakfast was a bit pricy.
It was professional, clean, and stylish. The staff was helpful and knowledgeable, and at no point did I feel that they would be unwilling to aid us in any way. Also, the hotel is quite centrally located in a beautiful and seemingly safe location.
There was a great view from out room to the fireworks at the Expo 2008 that night.
the hotel was close to all the main items we wanted to visit and more the hotel did not have a exchange facility and we had trouble finding a bank open when we arrived but it was only a minor problem
This hotel was right across the street from one of the tourist offices, and very convieniently located. It is a boutique style hotel, even though it is large, and very well appointed rooms, and ameneties come with this hotel. I would definately reccomend this hotel. Everything was well organized and in tip top shape -- the only thing was that the parking was extra, but right at the hotel, and the breakfast was a bit expensive (but we didn't eat it so can't review it). Overall, this was a really well situated and lovely hotel.
Good position near the river. The hotel was very close to major roadworks. I believe this should have been advise at the time of booking. The sign indicating parking for the hotel (which was also a taxi rank) was not very clearly marked.
Good price, nice comfort. Very good location, Free WiFi and wire internet. In room 414 air condition was broken, elevator has problem when enter more then 4 persons.
The proximity to local attractions. there wasn't a hairdryer in the bathroom, or coffee/tea making facilities.
Clean, renovated room, tea and cofee making facilities at room. Good price/performance ratio
quiet clean and comfortable.well situated for seeing the sights, bus stops very convenient to walk to.train station a shot taxi ride away.breakfast room in hotel, with plenty to eat and inclusive to room price. nothing
Unexpensive and well located The bed cover was full with cigarette burns and the room did not smell too good.
Localization and the building Nothing to say
The central location, the hotel is clean There is no possibility for a decent breakfast! The bar below gives no service and no choice
The front of the hotel looks like a hostel but the rooms are comfortable and quiet. It is very well situated within walking distance of the centre of Zaragoza. This is one of the few hotels in Zaragoza to offer breakfast. However, this consisted of two cakes, coffee and orange juice and was available from the cafe next door. We were not impressed.
Staff were friendly, no complicated procedures. All brand new rooms never used before. Very central, only a 5 min walk to the city centre. Big lcd tv in every room with basic freeview channels, which was great. Beautiful Bathroom. On the 2nd night, the roof of our room started leaking. So called reception, the man came up straight away gave us another brand new room and that was it. Simple.
The hotel had a great location, staff was friendly and helpful, rooms nice, clean and sound proofed (no outside noises bothering), Internet was fast and free :) Breakfast wasn't too great, it felt more like a hostel breakfast, rather than a 3-star hotel one... sure, it is cheap, but not that much.
noise, airconditioning not functioning
perfect location, nice and friendly staff not many people spoke english
clean. comfortable. good bathroom. the nightclub outside.
very central and convenient location night club opposite (Friday night)
Location is excellent for walking to key shops, attractions, and restaurants in the old town. Room well-appointed and comfortable. Hotel across the street from a nightclub which was very loud and had bright lights on into the wee hours for rooms at front of hotel. Bring earplugs.
Perfect in the center of city, for business, city holiday It is difficult to come to the hotel by car, and one should be aware that additional price for carparking is 17,50€ per night
right next to the center, and amazing price
The hotel location Was cold
The location of the hotel was brilliant, ask for a room facing the plaza. The room was starting to look shabby, and the hotel was undergoing construction.
The location is excellent. The renovations going on at the hotel. The old rooms are terrible, especially compared with the renovated rooms. In general both are quite small.
location they are stil working on the hotel, ther were no windows in the reception! The spa is very litle and is not realy a spa a sauna for two, a steamcabine for two and a jaccuzi for tree. The rules are not clear some people are naked others with swimwear.
Very good location in the city center, nicely renovated. /// En el centro de la ciudad, en una casa bonita. Very, very high price, because of the Expo Zaragoza (almost no hotel avaliable, so the hotels doubled the prices). Not so well accessible with public transport from train- and busstation. /// Precio muy, muy alto, a causa de la Expo Zaragoza y los pocos hoteles disponibles en ese periodo; muchos hoteles han doblado los precios. Mala accessibilidad del hotel desde la estacion de tren y autobuses.
Double rooms were requested (as opposed to 'twins') and the hotel were adamant that double meant twin beds unless specified as a double bed (although I have never heard of this before!) - took a little sorting out and we still ended up with two of the four rooms as twins but we have learnt our lesson.
Good location and nice design. Very noisy.
The equipment is designed but not of good quality. Not all power outlets in the room work properly. The shower is made by plastic, the turning handles of the whirl pool are already broken.
1. Helpfulness of the reception staff. 2. The central position of the hotel. 3. The generous sized bed!! Lack of availability of an iron and a hair dryer. Also there was no manual for operating the luxury shower.
the room was lovely and clean, also the bed was lovely and the view from the windows ! it was also great to have opportunity to use the internet there was no kettle in the room to make cup of tea...
Location Gouged price, Contruction, construction, contruction. Lack of recommendation of Laundry service by staff
The location was great. It was 5 min away from all the great restaurants and clubs. And it has an advantage with the parking. In the room description it was stated "sound-proof rooms". Unfortunately the rooms were extremely noisy.
Good location. has its own parking. a large, pleasant room. clean and tidy. good price for this hotel. Difficult to reach by car first time. No WiFi in some rooms.
very friendly and helpfull staff on reception and restaurant. Restaurant excellent and good value. Excellent position with parking only a 100 meters or so away
Fantastic location and friendly staff
The central position gives good access to all the main attractions. Car park only takes small cars.
Very friendly staff. Nice buffet breakfast. There's wifi in every room (just ask for the password). Right in the center of Zaragoza.
Friendly and helpful staff. Good location. Badly needs renovation. Looks rundown.
The location of the hotel was great, parking was provided at a reasonable cost and the staff were friendly. N/A
The staff were all lovely and very helpful. Location was excellent. Good comfortable bed. Parking close by and secure. Our room was rather small and the bath was tiny. We would still stay in the hotel again though.
the kindness of the staff
-Position, quite central. In the bathroom they have anything, toothbrush and shaving razors. Friendly staff. Breakfast not included but cheap at 8 euros. -The room was difficult to open because of defective key. The air conditioning was incontrollable. I payed 128 euros / night, really really expensive for what it was. Because of this price I will never ever stay at this hotel again even if they reduce the price.
Good double glazed windows so very quiet although looked onto sreet. Close to tourist spots and good places to eat.
I was in an annexe of the hotel, just around the corner from the main building. As such, it was very quiet and private. The staff were extremely helpful and welcoming. Also, the location of this hotel is second to none, very close to the Plaza del Pilar. I don't think there were any negative points at all.
very convenient for the sights As I have noted from previous reviews, the hotel car park was difficult to find. Instructions for finding car park would have been appreciated
the location was very handy for the city centre shops also the basilica pilar and the roman walls, bus stops nearby
Location. It is very near from city center The room was very warm and you have to call reception to turn on/off the air conditioner. It is annoyed us. Besided, the room often smelt bad.
Hotel Hispania is in a perfect central location, very good value, with friendly and helpful staff, and was clean, warm and comfortable. I would stay there again and recommend it to friends. I have no quibbles concerning this hotel.
The reception staff, sorry did not get his name, was extremely helpful, plus we found our room to be spotless, making a very pleasant stay. Nothing
The location was very convienient close to everything. Breakfast was a little on the basic, many places however within short walking distance.
Helpful staff, free wifi in lobby, close to old town and very central not really as with only 2 stars, it was good value
hotel under construction
position heating was sparse
Very central. Clean, comfortable. Good value for money. Pleasant staff.
We liked it. The hotel's in the corner of the huge and busy Plaza del Pilar, so it's central to the sights and cafes and restaurants. We had no problem with traffic and street noise.
Central position for visiting many interesting places and restaurants. This was second time we stayed there. Last time on the third floor this time first floor and noisier. The room was less pleasant and the bathroom not very comfortable. We probably would look for a different hotel in Zaragossa next time.
Central position near shops and restaurants river etc.
Lo mejor es la situación en la que se encuentra el hotel, enfrente de la catedral y con vistas a la básilica de nuestra señora del Pilar. Esta algo antiguo
Staff were pleasant, reasonable and made an effort to express themselves transparently.
very centrally located a little on the shabby side
No coffee making facilities. Bathroom very small.
The location Needs urgent maintenance. Paint peeling from the wall in the bathroom, the window did not shut properly in the room, so noise from airpumping system entered freely from the courtyard. Based on previous reviews, I booked an internal room far from the lift, but the lack of proper double glazing kept the problem of noise an issue. The overall feeling was of a 2 star hotel in need of TLC.
The confort of the room and the location of the hotel.
Polite staff Room was a bit basic
The hotel is centrally located. The restaurant is good value. The people at the front desk are very nice. There is no internet service in the hotel. You have to hook up your own computer with the phone and dial-up.
Close to top attractions Had to pay for outside parking for car although hotel arranged for a discount rate.
Good location and staff dining recomendation Missed english style beakfast
Its location. The facilities were poor. Service at breakfast was very poor. The coffee was at best luke warm and there was no hot water for tea.
staff were nice and friendly even though they didnt speak much english. It was clean. the car parking situation was offputting, we thought the cost should be free the cost was very expensive after what we paid to stay there .One day we couldnt find anywhere to park as the carpark under the hotel was full up and if you are unfamilar with the city you need to be able to find somewhere to park. Also cost of breakfast was expensive saying it wasnt a cooked breakfast. In England we could have got a full cooked brealfast for half the cost.
location in need of upgrading which is currently in progress. poor air-conditioning.
Staff was very friendly although the one complaint I would have is they are very conversed in English but I guess you would find these in foreign countries. Excellent location very central to everything. Would definitely recommend this hotel and would stay there again.
Location was great, personnel was also great.
Situation in town Very hard to find we were not aware it was on pedestrian area. Breakfast was very poor
Breakfast is good and internet wi-fi in the room is excellent. The localtion is perfect, just one block from the Pilar. How come an international chain hotel like Best Western uses so cheap plastic cups in the bathroom? Surely it does not cost much more to use real glass tumbers. It only makes the hotel look cheap.
