Food was simply awful; which is a shame for a national airline of a country known for its great cuisine.
Some members of the crew were really nice, but we had one on each leg of the flight that were so rude to passengers. On the KUL-BKK leg, one male crew member was really loud and obnoxious, and on the BKK-KUL leg, one female crew member was yelling at some older passengers who were a little slow in boarding.
I was so blessed by Xiamen air this trip. I was going to crash overnight in the Xiamen airport on an 11 hour layover :groan: While I was looking for a comfortable looking spot of floor, I was informed that Xiamen provides a free room in their business hotel for guests who are on layover. The only thing I had to pay for was the 28 kuai (read:super cheap) taxi to the hotel. Amazing!
Cue to check-in was ridiculous! Employ more staff so that the wait time is comparable to other airlines.
Alcohol - why is there no alcohol on the KUL/BKK leg? I thought that this was an international flight.
I'm a 4 years Globe trotter Malaysia airlines is one of the worse companies I know my backpack new generation for great traveller by few months before at $600 form Kathmandu been torn up ( tear ) with shoes print on my backpack I'm not recommend this companies to anyone it was my first and last time I used .
First experience with Malaysian. Really good. On time both boarding and take off. Food to my liking, perhaps spicy to others. Crew were polite and did their job well. Over all good and service and experience more than expected.
Was looking forward to see and experience new KLIA. Had heard about it, perhaps, 10-15 years back. Not that great, bit crampy. Open seating near gates is current style. Toilets are bad, truly Asian!
We were rerouted upon our explicit request and after a long debate with the ground staff who tried to convince us it was better to wait till the next day (better for them I suppose). Waiting would have meant we'd miss our connecting flights. The ground staff could not have expressed less care for our situation.
Some payment fees are estimated. Not all providers support all payment methods.
