Pros: The manager Mike came out to see how he could help but he found out he couldn't do anything. So he printed out a copy of my contract n told us only thing for us to do is call the manager there.

Pros: The charges were clear. I was refunded my deposit promptly. The manager answered all my questions easily and he even arranged to drop me off at my residence after I returned the car. Great experience. I love renting from Hertz.

The counter was not open on time
Cons: The counter was not open at 8 (their published opening time) and I had to rent from another counter.

Cons: After the reservation was placed and confirmed I was told the location did not have any cars to rent. I took my business elsewhere. You cannot do business with a location you cannot trust.
Pros: I picked up the SUV at the airport and they required me to sign the sheet that has the checklist for any damage to the vehicle? This is before I even see the vehicle that is parked a few hundred yards from the building? They need to have a person drive it up to the building and go over it before driving away! Once i got it to the peoples house I was picking up, I opened the back gate and noticed some previous damage from another rental?? NOW WHAT AM I TO DO ?? How do I prove I did not do it since I have the vehicle in my posession? A real bummer! I did buy the insurance, which by the way, is way too expensive..if they charge it to that insurance it will be fraud ?? Also the vehicle was very dirty and water spotted on the exterior which in turn makes it difficult to see any damage before driving out of the lot!!

Pros: I didn't like anything.
Cons: Customer service is awful. My husband had to fly to Peoria for a funeral at the last minute we had a car reserved. The computers at Budget Rental were not working and instead of working with him, they refused to rent him a car even though they had our credit card on file and he had the credit card in his possession they refused renting a car . he even offered them cash.
He had to call a family member in the middle of the night because his flight got in late, to have that family member come and pick him up. I tried to talk to the woman on the phone to give her another credit card because they said they needed to charge more money than what the car actually was on to our account to pre-approve it. She was rude and unhelpful. Worst experience I've ever had with getting a car and my husband ended up having to rely on his family to get around town because he did not end up renting the car... we gave up. We didn't have a choice really ; when I tried to call customer service to complain or to solve the problem, they said their computers were down and they could not help me, that I needed to call back later. At that point it was way too late. We will never ever ever ever used Budget Cars again.
Basically, because they could not process our credit card because of their own problems with computers, my husband was left without transportation in a time of family crises. I can't even express my disgust in budget car rental and also delta airlines, who also was having computer problems and still has our credit card tied up with pending charges for tickets we never purchased. Also, who could not fix it. I remember when companies used to bend over backwards to be helpful when a family member passed away.

Cons: Car was not clean and smelled like smoke. Stains on the front seats. Windows very dirty.
Cons: We were offered an upgrade for better leg room for passengers. The leg room was not there. We could have saved money by staying with our original rental and had the exact amount of space.

Pros: The mini van was great!
Cons: The website didn't let us know that when using a debit card that we had to have proof of insurance and a pay stub. It also didn't let us know that we would have to pay a deposit. I'm not sure we will rent from Enterprise again. We had to make 2 trips to pick up the car, which made us late in leaving on our trip.
