Leave it until later, or ask people up front whether they want to be woken and keep the lights dimmed like other airlines.

No fuss one-way flight from Sapporo to Tokyo NaritPro: Jetstar is definitely one of the better budget airlines I have flown with but the quality of the experience has its limitations for that very same reason.
No reason to complain but no reason to get excited either.Kontra: I was carrying an umbrella which was considered a 'restricted item' which meant I had to check it in and sign a loss/damage waiver.
I understand this is common to most airlines, however inconvenient and unnecessary it might seem to me. To be fair, Jetstar staff handled this as good as United Airways at my connecting flight in Tokyo and certainly better than Peach staff did when flying from Osaka to Sapporo.
