Staff perfect Eating area could be larger
Desayuno muy bueno, cerca del aeropuerto y de todo. El personal fue muy amable hasta nos querían regalar taquillas para el partido de Baseball. Definitivamente me volveria a quedar
We flew in and stayed overnight In Miami. The hotel was less than a mile away from the airport and offered shuttles service which was awesome. When we checked in the staff was friendly. We got our keys and went to our room and the key didn't work. Then once we got a new key the room smelt like mold and musty so we asked if we could hangs rooms which they did and upgraded us to a suite. The suite as the same way very strong odor like as soon as you opened the door. By this time it's like 11pm so which jut stayed. Then our toilet wouldn't flush. Overall I would not recommended. By the time we left and got to our final destination our clothes and everything smelt like the hotel.
they excell in all the service,
Great place to rest our heads for the night between flights. Shuttle arrived promptly after we called the hotel. We received a free upgrade for no apparent reason (woo hoo!). The bed and pillows were comfortable. Everything was very clean and nice. Please note that the shuttle ends at 12:30 AM and resumes at 5 AM.
Shuttle to and from Miami International Airport. Staff was friendly and helpful. Room was clean and quiet. Incursion into Lobby by seriously impaired woman (cursing, yelling and belligerent behavior) morning we were flying out. Hotel security just stood around doing nothing. Front desk gentleman was trying his best to handle situation, and keep the woman away from guests. Police had to be called.
There were nice restaurants nearby. Close to the airport and shopping mall. Not too far from the port of Miami. It was very clean, staff was courteous and the continental breakfast was appealing. I would diffinently stay there again. Thanks! There is only one shuttle and I had to wait way too long. Almost an hour
Staff was friendly. And several nice restaurants nearby such as Latin 2000, and catch of the day. It is far from south beach, but you can pick up the 150 bus from Miami international airport bus terminal, and be at south beach within 40 minutes.
The hotel staff is courteous, well informed and very professional. Andrew and Glenda were especially willing to help me with my requests when I required arrangements to extend my stay. The breakfast has an excellent variety of items from which to select.
This is a very nicely appointed hotel, near shopping, and has transportation to the airport 24 hours a day. The Staff was great, all of them, the guy driving the airport shuttle, the folks at the front desk, and the resturant too. When traveling through Miami and needing to do some shopping and get to the airport in a timely manor with out breaking the bank the Regency is a great choice.
The staff was friendly and efficient, The room was well equipped. Plugs were well placed and enough for my electronics and the TV had a sleep timer which I like. The toilet had to be rattled to stop it from flushing and the hair blower kicked off and I couldn't get it to go back on, using the switches the causes it to go off. It could have had more, brighter lighting. there was only coffee for one cup.I wanted to tell them about the hair blower and toilet, but they were too busy and my shuttle arrived.
My mother and I stayed here in order to catch the cruise ship in the morning. Hotel and staff were excellent. Stores were a few blocks away and into a not so great neighborhood. The hotel itself is close to Miami airport and the cruiseport. They will pick you up at the airport for free, and take you to the cruise port for $10 each. We found a terrific price on this hotel, compared to $200 ++ nearly everywhere else. I would highly recommend it for a pre-cruise place to stay.
The staff was quite keen to provide friendly service. Restaurant was lacking. Location has not a lot of entertainment or dining options very close. Needs updating. And fewer roosters in the morning.
This hotel is convenient from the airport due to its shuttles. Their drivers are very kind. And its room is quieter than I had expected in this vicinity of the airport. Overall this hotel is recommendable. Sometimes the elevater is too slow. I used the hotel's restaurant for breakfast, but its service was limited.
Very easy access to Miami airport, especially if you have a rental car that needs to be dropped off. Reasonable prices for happy hour cocktails including a free appetizer and a nice restaurant with not the greatest food, but very attentative staff and again reasonable prices. Nothing else in the immediate vicinity if you want to kill some time with a walk, etc.
The hotel staff really impressed me with their great hospitality especially George and the manager Jose. Hotel was clean in a great location near the airport.
The hotel was lovely. On a busy street. Alas, not near water but did have pool.
The hotel was near the airport and not too far from the cruise port which was a plus for us. There was a great seafood place next door! Good deal for the money. The rooms felt a little old but the location and price were reasonable. I was also a little disappointed that the pool was outside and not heated.
Place was clean, and good location. Price... kyak charged $200 for a Saturday night. Called to book the same room for a second night sunday direct and was charged $150. Cancelled Saturday due to a cancelled flight. Then after arriving in miami Saturday night at almost midnight after finding another flight I was charged $240.
Closeness to the airport and the extremely friendly and professional staff Air conditioner in the room was a little loud
The hotel is only about 7 - 10 minutes from MIA. The night manager was very friendly and great to deal with. The room and bathroom were clean. Everything in the room felt dated The bathroom was right out of the seventies or eighties, and the air conditioning unit made all sorts of noise. If it weren't for earplugs, we would not have been able to sleep. The hotel needs a serious remodel.
Very helpful staff at reception and on the shuttle bus to/from Miami airport.
Receptionists unprepared, and are not attentive
warm welcome. no mistakes in booking. free upgrade to executive room. helpful staff. good location. shuttle almost missed me; was diriving too fast and too far away from logical place for collecting guests.
The location The staff was very negative that I booked through Kayak and said "hold on a second you booked through expedia" No I did not but I paid my money, almost $500. I will not stay there again for that reason. I love the ease of Kayak.
the free shuttle, the pleasant front desk staff, the affordable beakfast options the time on the clock radio was not updated
I honestly loved the hotel. The staff was so nice. even suggested certain places we should go out and party considering that we traveled 15hours from Louisiana. I have nothing but good words. no Dislikes. I was completely satisfied =)
Bed was very comfortable. Price was ok. Closeness to airport. The bathroom was dirty it had hairs everywhere, it wasnt breakfast included, the front desk personnel werent as polite as you would expect.
Near the airport Not clean. Carpet at baseboard never been cleaned. Lobby is boring and leaves hotel with zero personality. Menu is awful. Hotel will only survive because it is close to the airport, nothing else. Not enough parking spaces. Sound heard from other rooms because of lack of sound insulation because of cheap construction. I could go on and on! !
Hotel stay was good. The room was clean, the staff was great. Had dinner at the restaurant and 1)found a hair in the food. 2) they include gratuity in the check but when they print it out, it does not show that gratuity is included and ended up tipping them twice. 3) had breakfast at the restaurant and the bacon was burned and the eggs were not done right/did not taste right. 3)cost for the food and portions were excessively high.
The complimentary coffee in the lobby was very convenient!
Close to the airport Not near choices for dinner
Jessica at the front desk is great! Very helpful with everything we asked for. Had to ask for linens for the fold out couch.
Ample Parking. Not a lot of choices where to eat in this location. The continental breakfast was pricey at $20 and not the greatest.
I like everything it service was in top of the line I will be bak AAAAAA++++++++++
Clean room, nice staff, convenient shuttle to airport No tv program due to the construction
Got us in our room early & then allowed us to stay an hour later & then watched our bags till evening flight!
The need to teach the housekeeping staff how to dust properly. The lamp shades were disgusting
the rooms were really nice and the shower was amazing
Location and cleanliness of the room. The hotel is under renovation and is a mess on the outside. It was like a maze to get to the restaurant in the other wing. They didn't have my reservation because they received nothing from Booking.com. I still don't know if my credit card has been double charged, but the hotel definitely charged me.
Close to the airport. Very expensive for what you get. Poor service from staff. In need of repairs.
Friendly staff. Clean room and very welcoming! No complaints at all. I would recommend this to my family and friends.
The room was nice, clean and comfortable. The staff was pleasant. The shuttle services were a great convenience and all the drivers were so pleasant. My room was downstairs opposite the car park, because the blinds were so light they provided inadequate shade to block out the lights from the car park shining into the room.
Facilities were clean. Staff was friendly and quick to help. This one was close to the airport and had a fee shuttle to take us to our airport at 6am, which was my favorite. The restaurant on location was very good and again staff was friendly and and service was fast. Since we were so close to the airport airplanes were flying in almost constantly, but inside the room you couldn't hear them at all! N/A
Their location and they have transportation from/to the international airport. its being remodeling. Now the lobby and bar is bigger and nicer. Its very noisy from 9 to 6. still remodeling. it has no chance to watch tv news or listen to music or anything different without paying.
Long lines w complacency by staff
There are three Marriotts on this property (Miami Airport Marriott, Courtyard Marriott, and Fairfield Inn). When you book on Kayak, it may book you at any of the three because they all have the same address. If you scroll up, you will see that I'm not the first person to whom this has happened.
It was very conveint. The staff was very helpful with any questions that I had. The grille in the lobby was very romantic if just for two but apps great for sports fans.
I'm trying to think of something positive to say but I'm coming up with nothing other than it's not sketchy. Nice toilet paper? Parking situation was awful. Barely found a place to park one night and when I did I had a 10 minute walk to the hotel. Room wasn't super clean. No soap (in the tub OR near the sink). Dried bloody snot on tissue. They charge for internet access and to park your car (even if you don't use their valet service). I ended up leaving and staying at the Hyatt (for the same amount of money BTW) which was incredible. 0/10 would stay at again.
Room was nice and clean. Wifi was good. I was pleasantly surprised that the room was quiet despite the proximity to the airport. That location has about 3 different Marriotts. My reservation said 'Miami Airport Marriott' which is the higher end one, but turns out the room was actually at the Courtyard next door which doesn't have all the amenities (like no room service). The Courtyard turned out OK, but I did felt a bit like a bait and switch "victim".
Location and amenities on site. Nice restaurant and bar in Lobby. Very close and convenient to airport and rental car center. $22 continental breakfast. $20 parking.
excesive cost of parking lot, when i can find hotels near that have free parking. It's a big NO NO.
Hotel was adequate, nothing special. Breakfast was included in rate, otherwise it would have been $52 for two, and worth perhaps half that. Wifi was extra except in the lobby. But a bigger problem was with the Kayak booking, through getaroom.com --- which advertised this hotel but then actually booked the wrong hotel (a less expensive Marriott property.) The Marriott insisted that we pay again, saying they could not transfer the reservation even after the desk supervisor called getaroom (which did answer the phone on a Saturday night, good). Getaroom did agree to refund the original charges and Marriott agreed to honor the same rate, so no long-term harm was done. But there was no way to see this coming from the original confirmation, and it took a half hour standing at the desk to get it resolved, and then several more days for the refund to show up. So, not horrible, but not "best practice" all round.
Concierge was nice but he did not explain that there was an additional charge for parking. He gave me a ticket that I thought I would show at my departure next day but at the parking place they would not let me go without paying. That was a surprise for me. Also, at the front desk they did not ask me if I was a member of the Marriott hotels, I am, so I could have given them my name and number to add points or miles.
rooms were big and clean Beds were hard as rocks
The tile floor was great because we didn't have to worry about mystery stains or my 6 month old causing more stains. The maids, though they only spoke Spanish, were very accommodating. The bed was very stiff & old. There was a little dining table & 2 chairs in the corner, but you had to squeeze between the bed & a chair to get to the bathroom. The bathroom was old & tiny. Only 3 outlets in the entire room, 1 full of the tv & other electronics & 1 full of the window ac unit. No pool.
Cleanliness Location and atmosphere of property with weekly and monthly low rentals
nothing this is a rent-by-the-hour motel. creepy, yucky vibe. the location is on a busy, loud street. was hassled by the front desk guy for trying to pay with a credit card. couldn't wait for the night to be over, which took forever since i couldn't sleep much...
