Kontra: Business does not have salad for everyone, I missed out salad
Kontra: No vegetarian food option. Seat uncleaned. Last seat on plane separate from family with people constantly standing next to and bumping at toilets - little consideration fro Covid-19
Kontra: 30 passengers on a 60 seat plane.
We should have been spaced out due to the Coronavirus, but NO.
We reallocated seats which had us all jammed up the front and back with rows of empty seats in between.
Not good enough Qantas!
I asked to change and the cery pleasant hostess said no we were NOT allowed.
I do NOT understand this.

Kontra: The food service was not great. They should increase the frequency of meals. Got the worst seats both time. The seats are old and recliner doesn’t come forward as it should

Kontra: The entertainment screen was hard to interact with.
Kontra: Airlines waste a lot of time and money preparing food that is mediocre at best. Just offering simple orange juice , tea coffee and a muffin to keep people going would be better as it's such a short flight.

Kontra: We booked vegan meals which came and were pretty good. But afterwards, the cabin crew handed out icecreams and then Fantales and had no vegan options for those treats.
Kontra: As an incoming traveller and a Platinum Qantas member, I was refused access to the Qantas Lounge on arrival in Townsville. All I wanted to do was spend fifteen minutes reviewing my diary and directions for the visits planned here. This is the Irish version of hospitality. God bless his departure.

Kontra: Flight was 1hr 40 minutes late and had to catch a bus to the end of the airport to even board. As well as shared terminal gates...
Pro: Crew were super helpful. Have flown with other airlines, but have to say Qantas crews are very professional and helpful. They go that extra mile.
Pro: Crew were helpful and very nice. However, as first experience flying internationally with Qantas wasn’t positive.. very proud to be Australian but their mechanical faults doesn’t help in customer loyalty.
Kontra: Flight delayed due to mechanical faults for 4 hours. $15 meal voucher is not sufficient to cover the cost of proper meal. Airlines if allocating seats automatically should not put a female in between two males, not a very nice experience. No option to amend seat.

Kontra: IT WAS AN OVERNIGHT FLIGHT FROM DARWIN TO MELOURNE. THE 'SNACK' OF 2 PORK BOA BUNS AND JUICE/TEA/COFFEE OR AN APPLE AND SOME CRISPS, WAS POOR AND COULD DO WITH SOME IMPROVEMENT. RATHER UNSATISFACTORY.

Kontra: flight delayed - but that happens...
Pro: I liked that nothing was a hassle to get to, the staff were amazing and the pilot was well-skilled.
Kontra: My only con was the fact that there were many people around me coughing. That's not your fault though, I understand. But still, it was nasty.
Kontra: The plane's interior needed a makeover, as is old
Pro: One member of the crew did her best to treat me as a premium FF member. That was about it.
Kontra: Qantas really screwed up the operational management of this flight resulting in a long delay into Sydney and then a further delay to Brisbane. Getting the water weight and balance right is FLIGHTOPS 101, but not for this B Team. Much of the flight delay was completely avoidable.
Pro: Good seat, great service. Typical quality QANTAS flight - perfect

Kontra: 1. The entertainment system had good choice, but screen resolution wasn't as good as recent flights with Lufthansa, SIA, Malaysia Airlines and AirNZ 2. Nowhere near enough toilets in the middle of the cabin, had to queue over 20 minutes 3. The announcement said water refill stations - where?

Pro: The crew was amazing.
I asked a crew member for some paracetamol for a headache. Several crew members kept checking up on me to make sure I was fine.
Kontra: Crew was not friendly. Also - who thought putting call buttons in the armrest was a good idea? We had 10 accidental calls from the people around us alone.
Pro: Crew were very accommodating to the needs to the passengers.
Kontra: Limit the recline on seats to less of an angle in economy.

Kontra: Crew was extremely noisy and not mindful of most of the cabin sleeping. Speaking loudly, joking with one another. Very unprofessional. In some instances woke people up (in economy) and made them put their seat up because someone behind them wanted to eat at 23:20. Not friendly either.
