Disappointed with the room not having a refrigerator and a microwave for the amount of money I spent. Loved the property itself I’ve stayed here before but the experience this time wasn’t as expected the spa Lapais Anenwas half closed due to COVID. And restaurants.

I'm a local and needed a place to stay in the middle of my house sale so it was convenient and the beach location is great.
I've stayed here before and even with accounting for policy changes for COVID ( which were sporadic and made no sense) the quality and service has gone way downhill and wasn't worth the price point. Here are some comments : 1. COVID related; no social distancing at pools, bars or restaurants enforced. ( Note the beach was fine luckily bc that was the reason I stayed there) 2. YET: I can't get a kettle or coffee maker in my room or room service. PLEASE EXPLAIN 1 v 2 3. It took a minimum of 30 minutes to get the car from valet. At one point it was 45 mins and you have to sit in the hot sun outside with a mask on sweltering. And the hotel was clearly not full. At 5 AM it took 30 mins fyi 4. To get help bringing bags ( at 5 AM no less) you can't get through on the phone to valet from inside the hotel. I had to call the main number on my cell phone and beg not to be transferred to request help which still took almost 25 minutes to get there. I was attempting to do two trips on my own when someone showed up. Look I get it its a strange time but don't charge me what you usually charge and at least be consistent with restrictions. It was a hot mess all over the place and honestly I won't recommend anyone staying there anymore. There are better choices on the beach at this price point.
