Oman meets India in Africa; what a dreamy, beautiful, tasteful and comfortable place. Such a treat to stay at. The room is a vision out of some Arabian fairy tale and the garden is incredibly beautiful with the bougainvillea, verandas and the comfortable seats. There was simply nothing I did not like about this place. Oh and the food is outstanding as well. IF you're looking for beauty and comfort look no further! Thank you Kholle House, it was a real pleasure.

Ideal for visit to prison Island, historic building with nice refreshing pool ,perfect after sightseeing in the heat. Standard room a bit small but clean .Staff helpful especially Benson who told us the history of the hotel and zanzibar and laid a table for two on the rooftop for our dinner after we had watched a beautiful sunset. Peaceful hotel in a hectic city.
Bed is very short.

The place is an incredible old house and nestled in the garden, a very refreshing pool. The rooms are small but charming. There is a great rooftop overlooking the city and the port. The staff is very professional and kind. I recommend that oasis for any stay in Stone Town. The food at the restaurant is delicious.
