Location was good... easy access to museums and transportation. room was cramped - four twin beds wall-to-wall - but clean. This was one of the few places that would allow a one-night booking. We were able to store our bags (albeit in the corner of their restaurant... not very secure) on both our arrival and departure days.
Staff was not the friendliest. When we arrived, the woman at the front desk did not acknowledge us for several minutes as our family of four stood in the lobby. The rooms are clean but not at all nicely decorated. Just functional. Expensive for what you get, but that seems to be the theme for traveling in Europe in July!

Convenient location for most things in Amsterdam.
The room was narrower than my outstretched hands and the bed too short for me. Aircon machine next door rattled intermittently all night long.

If you plan on seeing the museums, this hotel is a perfect location.
Exterior under renovation; covered by scaffolding. Single room next to luggage storage room--very noisy. Not the greatest place, but it suited the purpose and had a 3-per-room option.

“Cant beat the location. Being only steps from the Vondelpark is great. Easy access to trams and busses too, and a short stroll from Leidseplein. This hotel has now become my new hotel of choice in Amsterdam because of the location, the access to the park, and the relative peace and quiet for such a central location. I don't need loads of facilities, just a comfortable bed and a good location, with a minimum of fuss. Great value for money too.”
