Aqualuz Lagos Hotel & Apartments - S.Hotels Collection

The location of the hotel was very good - close to Lagos main beach (approx 10 minutes walk) and also close to the old city (approx 10 minutes walk). Our superior family room (in the center part of the building) was very spacious and kitchen well-equipped and had view over the garden pools and a peace of ocean was visible also. The hotel has also inside pool, but keep in mind to buy a cap for that before your trip or you can buy it from where - when it costs almost 10 EUR. Bathtroom welcoming equipments (shampoo, shower gel and body milk) were also very nice and convinient after arriving if you have forgot to bring something.

Two things i didnt like. First - one lady at reception, who had vey quickly strange excuses why she didnt put us to upgraded room although lady, whom i was changing e-mails, promised that (because we stayed quite a long and it wasn't summer season anymore). All other employees were very nice. And secondly - the internet, which i bought, was not working properly. I was lucky, because i bought only 2 hours instead of whole week and in the same time not lucky even to use it all, because it was working only in the balcony, not even in the living room on the 4 floor. Still, overall very good apartement hotel and roof terracee with reclining chairs is just super!

The pool is very nice. The room is large and comfortable.

The staff was very rushed to check us in and then basically provide minimal service. We were put in a room on the bottom floor of the hotel despite the fact that there appeared to be several vacant rooms on the upper floors. The hotel staff did not provide us with any information regarding telephone services/costs, internet, hotel services and amenities, etc. when we checked in. This information would have been useful.

large airy modern room, not so far from a good supermarket, a nice beach and the city center, great gym (although you must have the necessary clothes and all), well equipped room (despite the cooker which is rubbish)

cleaning ladies talked loudly in the corridors, windy in certain areas around the pool, staff not as friendly as you'd hope, useless cooker, the walls are a bit thin and if you're unlucky with your neighbors you won't have a great time...
