the bed everything apart from !!!!!!!!!!!! and including staff
Very good food served lack of facilities,
Well designed spacious rooms. Nice bathrooms and products.
The location, close to the old district--shopping, restaurants, cafes. The Tram stop is directly in front of the hotel. The staff wasn't particularly friendly or helpful. The restaurant closed prior to the listed times. We had asked for a room with two beds and had one bed and one pull out couch that was not comfortable.
spacious room, clean hotel, comfy
The hotel was clean, well located and had all the facilities we required in a well located city centre hotel.
The Hotel was beautiful. Spacious, modern & clean rooms with a lovely rooftop pool. The tram outside the Hotel was handy to take you to all the areas of Nice. Would highly reccomend this Hotel.
direct to the exhibition centre no internet connection
very comfortable beds the fact that there were no tea/coffee making facilities
The Room, it was clean & Comfortable The Service (Room Service) price for the breakfast was too expensive
Apogia hotel is located close to the center of Nice, 5 min walk away from the Acropolis Congress Center, nice breakfast, polite and friendly personnel Bad quality of the TV picture. But it's in my room only (#518) as far as I know.
All the staff at the reception were good professionals and very helpful. One was exceptional. My comments were taken into consideration without any question. The bar at night could be more welcoming. Music and some sort of welcome (There was rarely someone at the bar, maybe the receptionist performs both functions?)
The hotel is not far from the train station and close to the tram. The hotel is too expensive for what you get. The hotel is very old, the bathroom was falling apart, the area is far from every interesting thing. Based on my experience the night there should cost less than 60 euros.
Nicely situated to have as a base when visiting Nice and Monaco being just a short walk to Nice Port and 20 minute drive from Monaco. If you are travelling to the hotel by car be sure to reserve a space in the hotel underground car park when you book as parking around the hotel at street level is very overcrowded. All in all a good hotel, well priced and located. Lack of tea or coffee making facilities in the room.
room wasnt clean, very expensive but not equal with what u get for that money, a am very dissapointed
Close to old town. Not too far from beach.Elevator. Great pastry shops nearby. Charges for everything - wifi, even safe. Only one outlet even in triplet.
The location was good for the conference center, the staff were friendly, the breakfast was adequate. The bathrooms were dated.
Breakfast was good, location was very comfortable!
graet location hard to find someone to serve at the bar
good location, friendly and helpful staff no free WiFi in the rooms
Nice Lobby, very poor rooms (White wall). The airconditioning was not working. I asked the staff and said that they turn it on at the end of May. My room was so hot that I could not sleep. I argued with them with no success terrible hot nights.
Breakfast Design was kind of shabby for thye price level
Location Wish the staff were a bit more friendly.
location poor staff behavior, old facilities at any way no 4 star hotel
Staff were efficient and most helpful Elevator Ample breakfast items Residential location Walking distance to most areas of interest Lounge/bar/patio I had a room that overlooked the current underground metro construction. On weekends, no issue with noise; however, not the case during the week. This construction will continue for another two years. Either way, it's an unsightly view. The room safe was very small and I needed to request the lock from the front desk, which seemed a bit odd. Considering the construction, the rates are a bit high.
Staff was very helpful and charming, location was convenient and within walking distance to everything Hotel itself was outdated, shabby, and not at all like the pictures advertised on website.
location lovely atmosphere staff needs a bit more training night staff forgot our wake up call. could have been a problem
everything was fine apart from your front of house staff we found the attiude of your reception could be alot better
We had a horrible room...we felt like we were in a cell. Couldn't wait to check out. Staff even apologized but, didn't do anything to make me feel better. They said we were in the room that wasn't renovated yet.
The staff was very friendly and helpful. We stayed a third night but stayed in a different room. The room was simple and clean. I suggest a complete airing of the room between guests. Other than that, we did enjoy our stay and the central location was wonderful.
Easy access to local bus station. Near to the old town Rooms a little small
Good location, friendly staff, cosy room
NOthing really Size of room, quality of decor - old and poor, no restaurant or bar , very noisy as doors did not even come to the bottom of the door frame - basically an awful place to have to stay
The Hotel was very close to the old Town and Harbour. The staff were also very helpful The room was very small. It was also meant to be non smoking but our floor stank of cigarettes
Very nice budget hotel with clean room (although very small) and friendly hotel staff. The location is good--about 15 minutes walk to the beach (nice fountains, gardens along the way so you won't be bored), and 5 minutes walk to the bus station, where you can easily take the bus to the Nice airport. Sound proof is not good.
Breakfast was great - A+++. Staff was helpful as well. Rooms are a bit small, no radiator in the bathroom, bad sound isolation
The breakfast was really good!
Vicinity of the city center, free internet access, comfortable room, kettle in the room, breakfast The breakfast price is a bit higher than in other similar hotels. I do not think that the stairways would be enough in the case of a real evacuation - it is very steep, narrow and people would hurt each other on the spiral stairs. Just think that the building has 8 levels. I did not find this safe.
good location, good price good staff
Small and cosy and conveniently situated for shops No shower head bracket on the wall and no grab handle as bath was a bit high.
Nothing in particular Room a bit stuffy but quiet so I could open a window. No pillow case on pillow the first night.
Good location good breakfast
The only good point was its easy access to Acroplice, where our work was performed during my visit to Nice. 1) Hotel did not tell that breakfast would be charged, not free. Food was really very humbel with some bread, cheeze, ham, juice and coffee.. Hotel charged 9 Euro per. IF hotel tell me the breakfast will be charged, then I would not have breakfast there at all. 2) Room was not comforable at all and old.
nice staff telephone conection was not good.
We spent 7 days in this perfect hotel and all things fulfilled our expectations.
Excellent location and very pleasant staff.
Charming Hotel located in nice area of Nice. The Weekend Receptionist did not complement the hotel. Unpleasant expression and somewhat rude
Peaceful location and views over Nice. Very comfortable rooms. Bit too much of a walk/climb so taxis recommended. Breakfast pricey.
Very beautiful hotel in peaceful setting with view of city and sea. Gracious and helpful hosts. Lovely balcony setting for room and the terrace breakfast was nice! Room a bit too perfumed...for one with flower allergies. Although the old town is an easy walk, it didn't feel too safe coming back after dark. A couple of the blocks near the hospital were risky. Next time, we'll drive down.
This was an amazing find. The hotel is located in a quiet residential neighborhood about a 20 minute walk to the center of "Old Nice". Views from the hotel room were spectacular looking out over the city and the mediterranean. The rooms were sizable and comfortable. The hotel had the charm of a European luxury hotel. Nice is a fantastic city to visit and walk around. Breakfast not included and costly.
The location is excellent if you want great views over old Nice and walking access to the Matisse and Chagall galleries. It would suit keen walkers best, as it is a little way down to the old town (10 minutes) and taxis in Nice are expensive.
Our room was beautifully decorated, clean and comfortable. We had all we required. The staff were helpful and courteous.
Very nice! Excellent Neighborhood! 15 minute walk downtown (challenging, but possible in high heels).
Boss is very kind. There is no restaurant in hotel but there are many restaurant nearby.
Rooms and Bathroom were neat and clean. But the Hotel is around 10-15 minutes walk and not very close to the NICE SNCF gare. The guy at the reception was irritating.
Availability of books and internet in the ( small) entrance hall Very cramped room- judging by the single issue of towels,( quickly rectified) they were catering for solo travellers
Location, cleanliness, staff very co operative and friendly. Would have liked somewhere to make a cup of tea or cofee
Personal was excellent, helpful with information and extremely friendly. Beach towels, mats, umbrellas were avaiable for guests to use free of charge. Maps and info about city were also readily available. Room was comfortable and fairly roomy for the three of us. Short walk to beach and touristy areas. Quiet. Was a little difficult to find as the street is only 3 bolocks long and even Nice residents hadn't heard of it.
The staff were extremely welcoming & helpful - nothing was too much trouble for them.
The staff were incredible service minded and you felt very welcomed. Perfect location in downtown Nice. Easy access to everything.
The staff was extremely nice and was always ready to help. They provided a complimentary service where you could pick up towels, beach mats and umbrellas and drop them off when you were done (they washed the beach towels themselves). There is no lift and we were on the 4th floor (but it kept us in shape)
good location between railway station and long-distance bus station. near the supermarkets and touristic spots. helpful a staff.
location, friendliness, facilities parking
Very friendly staff None
The staff was very helpful
A great family hotel, located right on the beach. Beautiful room, pool and a great breakfast. All hotel rooms have a great view onto the beach. Would stay there again.
A good hotel at a reasonable price, a decent location, a tram line nearby, 5 minutes walk to the old town, right across the street from the Convention Centre, 5 minutes to the central bus station, 10 minutes walk to a railway station (Nice-Riquier, not the main station Nice-Ville, the latter nevertheless can be easily reached by tram). The main attractive feature is that the rooms have kitchenettes, which is a great money saver (I failed to find a place to eat in Nice which would charge less than 15 Euro for a simple meal). Monoprix and Carrefour are nearby. The stuff is OK, all speak English to a degree (some speak quite good English in fact). Wi-Fi and air conditioning in rooms. The second-hand smoke from people smoking on balconies!!! Especially at nights!!! The bathroom was really small, but it is quite common in Europe. The extra pillows were provided but only on the 2nd day (the reception does not have them, one needs to ask the cleaning stuff in the morning).
convenience of the location, staffed 7x24 (not all apartments do that). They have put air conditioning units in all the room so some of the previous comments no longer apply stuffness and smell in the hallway
The hotel is nice a clean and surprisingly quiet at night. It is situated right at the Acropolis conference center. Rooms are equipped with modern Air conditioners. Janitors are rather rude and since there is no way to prevent the door from unlocking from the outside expect some surprise guest in your room knocking on your shower asking when you leave so that they can clean.
the hotel was very central the cleaning service was excellent and the staff very helpful and friendly we stayed in a twin room my bed was very hard and was only a put up bed the room also was very small
The staff were helpful and assisted me with directions and advice on getting around Nice. The breakfast is quite poor. The breakfast room is inadequate.
The rooms are very clean. The staff is friendly and helpful Pption for house keeping to extend beyond mornings. I asked for an extra pillow in the night but was told by the staff that they do not keep pillows and I should have asked for it in the morning. Basic amendities like pillows, toothbrushes etc should be kept within the hotel
Well appointed for conferences at the Acropolis Conference Centre. Breakfast room small when outside area can't be used in the winter.
Good Location, crean room and friendly staff, I really enjoyed staying there.. If I go to Nice again, I will stay there.. But this hotel doesn't have hair dry.. I didn't know that, also nowaday they repaired some part of hotel, so in the morning so noisy...
Location, room size, staff interaction Old facility, outdated bathroom, old tv
very good basic hotel
Across the Acropolis conference center, one block from public transporation elevator does not run to actual floors but to mezzanines.
I stayed here a couple of times for conferences at the Acropolis Conference Center. This hotel is about 1/2 block from the entrance, so it is very convenient for weary conference attendees. Access to the wifi network is pretty pricey. Many hotels offer this service free and it would be nice if this hotel followed suit. Travelers should be aware that the rooms in this hotel are very small. The elevator is between floors, so you must be able to move your luggage at least 1/2 flight by yourself.
3 star hotel for price of 2 star hotel in Nice. None.
I choosen it because it's if front of acropolis meeting centre
central position, easy to get to the center by foot or by pubblic transport the room is very noisy, the moquettes very dirty and the staff unfriendly. we found hair of other people in our towel and the general clean was insufficient
50 yards from conference centre lack of a safe in hotel room
The staff were very friendly and extremely helpful. It is really handy for the Acropolis exhibition centre: almost opposite.
Great location across the road from the comference centre. It had good access to transport and was walking distance to the touristy areas of Nice.. A plus point was the multi lingual staff and many bars and restaurants just outside.
the terrace at the top floor. No minibar, no refrigerator, no covers for the pillows, dirty carpets and the terrace was closed sometimes for no reason. The elevator very old and the phones in the room did not work.
We missed a train connection and were very late. As a result we tried to phone the hotel but were unable to get through because they do not answer phones after a certain time. We arrived 1.30 am to find with some relief that the hotel was still open and that our booking held.
Location Poor breakfast, small rooms
Staff were helpful and hotel was convenient for the railway station Breakfast was very poor for the price
No comment Room was small and the air conditioning was malfunctioning. The buffet breakfast was very poor value for the cost
The room was very clean, cheap and in a great location
Good location. Room was very comfortable with little balcony. Breakfast is too expensive. Better buy a croissant in the Carrefour Market which is the neiggbour of the hotel. No internet after 21:30 pm in the mail hall.
It's really hard to review this hotel. We booked two rooms and the difference between them was big. One room was very nice and the other dark and the beds cramped in there. Overall, however, I would recommend 'cause of the low rate. Staff was very friendly.
Friendly relaxed atmosphere and the location of the hotel. Nice room with comfortable bed. No chest of drawers for storage of clothes.
Very clean and comfortable
Location is very central Very poor quality, small and old but good to stay a night
It has good position. First they gave us room with toilet outside of room which they claimed was private for the room, but door of toilet was opened and there were hairs. And the room was very tiny. Then we were persistent and changed room. Also some hairs we found in shower, but in general the room was much better than the first one they offered. Then there is no elevator and we got room at 3rd floor. Often there is nobody at reception, and often person that seems to be manager is at the reception and he does not speak English. But overall stuff is not so bad.It just seems that manager wants to get as much money as possible with what the hotel has to offer and the hotel does not offer much. For sure this hotel is overpriced, as it seem the whole Nice is overpriced. Just go to some other city at the sea and you will not loose a thing if you don't go to Nice.
very good location, and the working staff are very friendly and helpfhl. the bad smell from the closet was disturb us a lot.
I loved the location and price! The shower was a little dated
Friendly, helpful staff. Clean room. Great location.. easy to walk to the beach, shopping, or Old Town. I would stay there again. The room was small but that was okay for my 20 year old daughter and myself.
The staff was very nice, and extremely helpful.
The staff was really fabulous, very calm and ready to help all the time. Location is pretty comfortable: a lot of supermarkets near, bus stations, tram station that is very convinient. Also, SNCF Gare station is in some minutes to walk, from which you can get to Monaco (25 min), Cannes (30 min) and a lot more.Rooms are very tidy and comfortable, cleaning was done every day. All our requests and problems were solved immediately. No problems with shower, toilet, e.t.c. I would recommend this hotel to everyone. I liked it very much. The staff helped us with all excursions and all info that is needed to see the city and have a good vacation time.
Good location, Friendly staff.
Its good value for the cheap price. The hotel staff was very friendly and helpful.
nothing it was very dirty and the bath and wc really smelled. We didn´t even take a shower because it was very disgusting. Don´t go there!
The room was small but adequate. The staff was very helpful and spoke some English. They were responsive to requests and in general very helpful. Bathing facilities were barely adequate.
