The Broadmoor is a 5 star resort. It is a designation that is well earned. Everything was excellent.
Finee, well run hotel Need to bring many $$$ for constant tips
The Broadmoor is old world beautiful. The detail in design with comfort and beauty in mind is exquisite. The room we were given had a flight of stairs to climb and we were not told this ahead of time.
beautiful setting In this MASSIVE complex- in HIGH ALTITUDE there is NO water- anywhere!!! None set out at front desk- none in room...we were told "you can BUY some at the4 store down the hall" seriously?!
Very nice rooms and the recreation area was wonderful too! Good place to take your family and friends. Loved the spa, lake, golf course and pool! The food was ok but quite high priced for salad bar. Would have been nice to have a place to get a hamburger. Would also have been nice to have a place to get a newspaper or magazine without having to go to the mall.
The room was cozy and comfortable. hotel staff service was very poor. Requested additional coffee, creamer and sugar and was brought one packet of cream. They said they were out. Alex for toothbrush and was told the shipment didn't come in. Asked front desk why they did not service done kind of complimentary breakfast and she told me if I could afford to stay there I should be able to afford to buy my own breakfast. Rude!!!
Views Nothing was free at least Lil lower on food becasues we travel to chill abd still don't feel at home
Service and food were good in the lounge (once the server finally showed up). My room key did not work when I tried to get in my room. Coffee was not in my room. THe ability to check out on the TV did not work.
Our room, brunch, access, and swimming pool were great. The staff (primarily check in counter) was not friendly, and seemed like I was interrupting something important. Was in an elevator with other staff while they yelled into their phone about something with what they were doing. Really diminished the experience between these two things. The Broadmoor really makes you feel like a valued guest when you are there.
Awesome location golf course with a backdrop of the Rocky Mountains! Being fall with the tree changing colors it was especially beautiful. Near everything ; Broadmoor Arena, Seven Falls, Cog train to Pikes Peak, the charming town of Manitu Springs, Garden of the Gods, hiking, golf, tennis, and Caverns. We were their for our anniversary and the staff surprised us with champagne and a fruit/cheese plate! It make quite an impression. Staff very friendly and thoughtful much better then Brown Palace. Everything was clean and cared for overall. Being a tub girl the bathroom was not an luxurious as I would have liked.
The grounds and outdoor seating areas were great and the view is beautiful!!! The few times I called the front desk, there was no answer. Seemed the front desk was very low on staff.
Atmosphere, friendly staff, clean rooms, private retreat feel.
The bed was extremely comfy! The hotel and service was of high quality. There was construction work near my hotel building and the walls are definitely not sound-proof.
Convenient to most attractions. Felt the price was too high. We were put off on the end far from most resort amenities. There were no King Beds available although the parking lot was relatively empty.
The staff was friendly and went out of their way to make sure our stay was memorable. The rooms were awesome with beautiful views of the golf course and pikes peak. Close to tourist activities but felt like you were remote and private for relaxation. Nothing
