Everything was great, staff was very gracious. Had trouble with free WiFi in my room
The entire facility was very nice. The beds and the bedding was very comfortable. There were several things that made this stay not rank in the good or excellent range as advertised. Housekeeping came at 6pm to clean our room. The toilet flusher worked but was almost broken. The cable didn't work in the first room we checked into. They charge $10 per day for parking, which is understandable but the key procedure to get in and out of the parking lots was never explained and was confusing, I had to use charge to my credit card to get out one time. I could have gotten the room a lot cheaper booking online instead of Expedia.
All in all, it was a good stay. There was only a couple minor issues with the cleaning staff. EXTREMELY convenient, if you're visiting Graceland (which is now an all day excursion). Amenities and staff at restaurants and bars were wonderful. Everyone was courteous and very helpful. So nice to have bright, cheery professional service. We would certainly come back, and would recommend it to others. Upon checking in, we found only one wash cloth in the bathroom. I caught a cleaning staff member in the hallway and asked for more wash cloths. She had to retrieve a clipboard, find my name, and had me initial next to it in order to get more wash cloths. I felt like I was checking evidence out of a Police Evidence room. Came in the next day, and found a filthy cleaning rag on our sink counter. We called down to the desk to ask them to come retrieve it, and re-clean our sink area. After about 4 hours, no one came. we flung the nasty thing into the corner, then cleaned the sink ourselves. By the next morning, no one had come to retrieve the soiled cloth, so we kicked it out into the hallway. Someone finally picked it up. It was truly gross. Other than that, it was a wonderful stay!
Stylish with decent amenities. Lots of small fees, $10 a day for parking, shuttles cost money, ect. Restaurants and drinks inside are ok but pricey.
Everything! The details were so impressive and we just kept finding more and more. It was like a scavenger hunt to keep finding more amazing touches. The front lobby is so welcoming and bright that you can't help but smile! The rooms were perfect. We felt like it was such a luxurious area, in that it was clean and perfectly decorated and the bathroom was spacious and beautiful. I can't wait to stay there again! The employees are so nice that I swear they had to pass a personality test in order to get hired on; all smiles and the friendliest people you'll encounter!
Awesome atmosphere and clean comfy rooms. Elvis music by the pool was the best!
Clean room, fresh bedding, frig & microwave. Elvis pictures & Memorabilia. So close to Graceland. Security door did not work, Lamont window did not my work, sleep # bed did not work, outlet by beds need more.
Staff was very friendly and accommodating. Room was spacious, and clean. Bed was very comfortable. Door to room had a gap between door and door jam, large enough for bugs to get in (fortunately none did). Room smelled strongly of cleaning agent.
With only 2 hotels in the immediate vicinity of Graceland (Graceland Guesthouse is not yet open), this was the nicer of the two and was very reasonably priced. Free parking, pool, AC, free breakfast. Glad we stayed here. The stock of breakfast food choices was a little low by the time we got there.
Staff, closeness to Graceland, friendly staff. Bed was not very good, too soft and not supporting.
This was the dirtiest most unfriendly hotel I have EVER stayed in. The front desk acted as though it was a bother for us to stay in their hotel. Sheets were dirty on the bed. Given a room that already had guests in it!
Loved the staff and the room layout. The folks at the desk were very friendly and the people behind the bar/grill were really fun and friendly. The bedroom was musty smelling and the wallpaper was peeling from the top of the wall and lower. Other than all was good.
Nothing! The towels had a smell like they didn't have enough laundry detergent to properly clean the towels. The housekeeper saw me vacuum my room and did not take the initiative to say '' I will get that''. We did let the front desk know about it, plus i have a video of me vacuuming my room
Amenities are few. Two small cups of coffee you make in room. I'm sure it's because there is a Starbucks in the lobby. No breakfast, and the Bistrois expensive. We had to pay for coffee and no continental breakfast.
The staff all around was so friendly.
When we arrived at 11:30pm, we were told that there were no more non-smoking rooms available. My son has asthma, so that wouldn't work. We sat in the lobby to begin to make other arrangements, but the clerk (who had obviously been in a bad mood when we arrived) said she would juggle some things to find a room. Don't know why her sudden change of heart, but we were exhausted from driving, so it worked out for us. We called for a cot - traveling with three kids and one is 13 and all three don't fit in a double bed. It took two hours and several phone calls to be told that there were no cots and we had to go down to the front desk to fetch a second blanket. The hotel was ok, nothing special and certainly not worth the price tag. We were surprised to see that the part of town didn't seem very safe - but they did have gated parking. If you need a place to rest, this will do. But if you're looking for customer service, cleanliness, and value - move on.
Staff was friendly and hot breakfast was good. A little outdated - the heater/ac system was old and the door only had the chain lock but both worked fine. I slept well but maybe bc I was so tired! Only downside was my flight landed at 11pm and the shuttlw driver already went home. The website says free airport shuttle service from 4 am to midnight and that definitely didn't happen.
Room was clean Location sucks,
It was a very friendly and clean hotel. I loved the room. We got everything we asked for it was amazing. Only stayed one night at the end of our trip but will definitely be coming back. Everyone from the check in desk to the room service gentleman was amazing. I enjoyed everything there. ♡
Location was good as airport was close and to downtown took only a 10-15 minute drive. Rooms had been renovated with beds and pillows in good shape. Was expecting more noise from proximity to airport and open central area, but it wasn't bad. Bathroom was lacking as it was small and there was no hot water on one morning of our stay (granted 90% of guests were there for the Liberty Bowl and had the same timeline). None of the side doors unlocked with room keys.
No hot water in my room. Had to go between two rooms to take a shower because there was not another room available equivalent to what I booked. Water was turned off two days for repair work. Bad stay
This hotel is ghetto. The door to the bathroom almost hit the toilet. They've obviously done some renovations, but it's not helping; you can tell it is old, old, old.
Nothing Bad location. Dirty. Unsafe. Awful..awful..awful
When we arrived they told us they just didn't have our reservation and that there was no solution because not only did they not receive our reservation because of some online reservation problems but they also were way overbooked. They were unprofessional. End of story.
Staff was awesome. No restaurant or bar. Exercise room with only one machine working. We were told our reservation was not on file. They did however offer a price better than the online booking price.
No breakfast tho advertised it did. One wall of outlets didn't work. Attempted theft on car in lot overnight.
Place was a dump. I was told to check the room to make sure it was clean. Over an hour check in time. Dirty bathroom. Thank goodness I brought a blanket and pillow in the car because I did not feel comfortable sleeping on the bed. They consistently tried to blame old management but it is the new management/owners that are terrible. If the new managers are better than the old managers, I could not fathom what that would look like. The place is unlivable and should be reported to the an authoritative agency that manages whether a place is suitable to stay in.
We Love Elvis so this hotel was the best place to stay to get the whole Elvis experience aside of Graceland! We loved it and we were very glad to have gotten to stay there before its torn down!!!
Loved the hotel and the staff. I've waited over 15 years to come to Graceland and because of your hotel, it was the best experience. Thank you!! I don't like the fact that I hears it was going to be tore down because of the new hotel. Please don't do that!!!! There's history in that building!!
Could walk to Graceland and felt safe leaving our car at the hotel for the day. Very secure parking lot. Rooms are small but clean. Desk clerk at check-in was confused as to how to deal with a Kayak booking. He kept insisting that I needed some sort of voucher. Finally sorted it out. Went to breakfast an hour before they were supposed to close only to find they'd run out of food. And at checkout, the single employee at the desk was too busy selling upgrade packages than to notice the increasingly long line.
if you want the full Elvis experience. Elvis everywhere. Decor was retro which only added to our trip. Rooms were clean and spacious. There was 3 of us and we had two bed rooms which was great. However the lights in bedroom two did not work and I really missed a coffee pot in the room. Free continental breakfast worked though. Overall was happy we stayed there. Not happy that it will be torn down because of the new complex. Should stay anyway. Would rather stay there than a modern hotel.
The rooms were luxurious, large and pleasant to stay in. Bed was comfortable. Breakfast could be better than some places we stayed. Did not like the coffee and the juices seemed diluted.
Hotel was a good value for one night but in general it was an antiquated hotel. Location of was in a poorer area of Memphis, though it was easy access to the highways and downtown. Hotel needs some updates.
The bed was comfortable Almost everything. Flat screen tvs were avertised not 15 inch old school tvs
Near The center of The city It's notte clean
Room and breakfast Area is secluded. Run down hotel across from the hotel. Run down museum in the back of hotel. Not an area to go walking.
Breakfast I arrived around 8pm. White and black trash was hanging outside, some blasting music in the car. I luckily got a room on the other side overlooking the pool. When I walked in the toilet was running, the fridge buzzing and there was coin change on the desk. The bed was ok besides cigarette burns in the sheets. I Unplugged the fridge and tried to close the bathroom door for the noise but it didn't close. I did NOT get any sleep because the room next door had the TV on max sound until 6am. Also woke up from orgasm noises. I was wearing rubber professional construction work ear plugs (not the spongy ones) and still couldn't sleep from all this. The worst ever. The fitness center has a thread mill, cross trainer and a lift machine that is so old it is a safety hazard.
Great location We booked a non-smoking single queen room for one night along our road trip. As soon as we entered the room, it reaked of smoke. There were stains on the kitchenette counters, visible debris all over the floor, something sticky on the wall near the refrigerator and what appeared to be weed on the floor near the bedside end table. It was disgusting. Spend an extra $30 and stay at the Sheraton or Graceland Guesthouse.
Nothing as we canceled because NO shuttle early enough to catch our flight & the bedbug review The fact that shuttle runs at 0700 so we canceled because our flight left at 0600 we rebooked at Marriott as their shuttle runs 24/7 every 1/2 hour + restaurent & no bedbugs
Bed was comfortable, room had plenty of space to move around, shower was awesome, tv was good, people wer friendly.
It was close to the airport.
The bed was very comfortable. The room was tolerable. The ladies at the front desk where very nice. The walls in the room were filthy, and the bedspreads were filthy as well. There seem to be a party going on in the room next to me, lots of noise. In the middle of the night someone beat on my door, waking me.
This hotel has a lot of character. Don't bring your kids :)

The hotel was gated, swimming pool, cleanliness, and only 0.5 mile from Graceland! Everything was great!
We were surprised and happy.
Price. Dirty, dirt left over from other customers.Furniture dirty and sticky, some garbage food left from somebody before.Windows very dirty like nobody them clean for years.
The hotel was great. none

We booked at this hotel last year. We were assigned to the very same room that we had last year.
I was disappointed in the things in the room. No clock, no dryer, no fridge, no microwave, no kleenex. It was fairly clean and I guess we got what we paid for, but I felt there were small things that would have made it homier. Also, the towels and wash cloths were paper thin.
This motel is old but well maintained. We had a very clean and comfortable rooms. Staff is very friendly.Very nice breakfast had milk, cereals, coffee, tea, juices & pastries.Very convinient to airport and close to Graceland. This motel has high speed wireless internet and had over 70 channels on TV.Motel has airport shuttle too.I recently stayed here and would strongly reccomond.
The wind must have shifted after we checked in.. Airplane takeoffs became noticable after 10pm,,, very very noisy.
This has to be the worst hotel that I've ever stayed in. The room was filthy. The carpet needs to be changed. The furniture is old and very scratched. The dresser has handles missing and hanging off of the drawers. The shower curtain was mildewed. The room needs to be painted and the beds are terrible.
I stayed one night. It was not clean. There was a leak in the bathroom right on top of the bathtub. So, I didn't take a shower in the morning. The breakfast was cereal, Milk, coffee. and some orange drink (not real juice). If money is an issue for you and you have to stay for a short while, this might be OK.
This was by far the best hotel for the price I paid. The rooms are very clean and comfortable. The staff was very professional and helpful.I would most deffinitely stay at this motel again.
This hotel is in the middle of the worst crime-ridden neighborhood in Memphis. The bed was as old as my grandmother and the mattress wobbled like a trampoline. I honestly felt afraid for my safety here, especially after dark. We booked for three nights but only stayed one. Do NOT stay here unless it's a last resort.
This motel is very well maintained and was very convinient and close to airport.Hotel staff was very polite and accomodating.Room was clean and had comfortable beds and overall price I paid was very resonable.Motel has airport shuttle which was very convinient .I would recomond this place.
A classic case of deferred maintenence gone amok. Bed poor, inconvenient for airport travel, no food or stores close. Stay home befor you stay here
The hotel was in shambles. The toliet was broken. The towel rack fell off the wall. The Carpet was FILTHY. You could see the springs in the bed (popping out almost). The curtains had a hole in it. You got either two settings ont he A/C unit (Artic cold or Hot as Hell) I didnt get turn down service and had to call for them to leave and bring towels in the room (which were NOT there when we checked in and couldnt get til the next day). The hotel refused to change our room and travel website refused to do anything about finding us another room. I blame the violence on the neighborhood (4am doors being kicked in underneath our room both nights we were there overnight) The day manager was very nice and tried to help as much as he could but it was a lost cause cause all i needed was out of my room or a switch of rooms which he wouldnt provide.
it really did smell. there where bugs flying around the room. we had to buy all kind of stuff. for the smell and bug. what a joe
beds terrible Not convenient to airport not a safe place no food or markets in vacinity
FirstNight King sized roomWas very clean & very nice employees Nasty pool frogs so loud didn't sleep much on firstNight so got different room was dirty
when I got there was told they had no rooms. I made reservations. staff VERY RUDE. ended up getting 1 room when I reserved 2. needed to make long distance call at lobby and they refused to let me.
Clean.very friendly staff.
Convenient location, exactly as advertised. The staff was friendly and helpful.
Nothing I didn't like anything about it.
Very close to Graceland Looks and feels very rundown. Did not feel safe neighborhood.
Location to Graceland. What you would expect for the price
Price Small room
It was inexpensive and convenient. There were not cups in the room.
The Price Is Right, unfortunately that is the only thing. Dirty, DIRTY Bedsheets/pillows/pillowcases. Mold/dried toothpaste in bathroom. All doors covered in sticky, red streaks (blood?).
Great service and friendly. Nothing at all. Everything was great.
It was great. no complaint
Styed here on the way to Florida and again on the trip back. The first room was very impressive. It was clean and the bed was very comfortable. Great value overall. The second night we stayed here we had a room on the upper level. It looked really nice when we first walked in. One King bed and a pull out couch we did not expect. However, on closer inspection the couch was really dirty and had lots of popcorn and peanuts under the cushions. The room had not been properly cleaned.
