one of the receptionists who seemed to be a manager was very helpful and the breakfast was good On arrival the receptionist misled us on the parking arrangements which led to unnecessary cost. No hand towels, no bathmat, no glasses in the bathroom. On return in the evening access to hotel's part of garage closed. Drove to reception. Receptionist incapable of telling us how to open it. Eventually entered on exit of someone else to find access door to hotel out of order. Trapped for 10 minutes before finding external exit. Walked to reception. He knew door out of order (so why didn't he warn us) but claimed to be too busy to come and open it when we rang door bell despite no other clients in sight. Only comment was "these things happen". In short he was totally indifferent to the problem.
The food was very good My room was on the top floor and the was lot of noise coming from the floor above, annoying.
Breakfast was great and the staff was full of sightseeing tips.
the staff it was very kindly and friendly....The room it was very clean... nothing
Nice rooms The hotel is in a desolate space with nothing to eat near by except for room service and a piza place almost next door. The parking suggested by the hotel costed us more than the room rent for a night!! The 175 NOK that they say on their website is only if you keep it for more than 24 hours and dont take out your car at all
Breakfast was an amazing addition. There is a grocery next to the hotel if you are in a budget. Staff was helpful trying to get us to certain locations around the city. Kind of far from city center. I think 5 train stops away. Very little to complain about.
the breakfast buffet, nice hotel, clean room and ok with space, close to the underground. staff was friendly but they could be more informed about transports and how to get around the best way in the city, to be able to give a better service.
Excellent breakfast, nice room. Some lights in room didn't work.
Easy access to metro (across street), big breakfast, many amenities of large chain hotel. Reasonable price for Oslo. SAS bus and hotel two separate things - needed to hike 10 minutes with luggage to highway to get SAS bus to airport.
the staff was very friendly, the structure was modern
good hotel, high value for money, but far from the city center.
Nice hotel with a decent restaurant. Right across the street from the Metro. Next to University, a lot of congestion in the area on weekdays.
The hotel is ok. Very good breakfast, close to the metro station, the room is modern and very clean, private parking is possibile (but is more expensive). More expensive, but are in Norway.
excellent concerning comfort and location with good communication to the centre, breakfast perfect, marvellous beds nothing
Very close to metro stn - 3 minutes walk. Also there are a few shops around Ullevaal Stadion. Egon restaurant at dinner time is really good - cosy atmosphere and decent food, well portioned. Staff are friendly, and the housekeeping leave towels in a bag hanging from your door if you have the dnd sign up, which I thought was nice! The free breakfast was very average, get down early as they don't replenish the food. And stick to continental cold food and bread. Free internet was convenient however you kept having to log into the system seemingly every hour or so of use. Some websites list the hotel as having a fiiness centre but this is not true - you have to walk to the fitness centre in the stadium and pay.
Kindness of hotel staff, available wireless connection, modern design of guest rooms, breakfast buffet - Floor in the room wasn't very clean - could be improved! The view from the room - to the stadium/offices (I prefer that others can't see me in hotel room.)
I dont think this is a place to spend once vacation. I was very surprised that the hotel is located in an hospitel, I don't want to spend my vacation this way, we left after one night. You should make known the spechel location of the hotel so one can choose.
It offers reasonable price and is located next to the tram station. I booked the double room, however, they gave me the twin room instead. Let's imagine how uncomfortable with two separated beds put together which they always tends to separate, and with two small blankets for a couple. I don't like the receptionist answer as well: "The double room here is like that"
The hotel was perfectly clean like in a hospital! Staff was very helpful!
Nice attitude, possibility to drink coffee when ever I want to do this, silence Internet access was not able in rooms, only near to reception. Floor not always in my room was cleen. Very small bathroom.
Hotel's breakfast had more variety than most. Good transportation to city centre. Good price compared to other similar hotels. Reasonable priced parking nearby. We knew the hotel is near a hospital but we were somewhat surprised to find the hotel in the middle of the hospital.
I liked to be located in a quite area of Oslo. I did not like the distance to reach the center. It is a bit far away in that matter. There is not problems using the Tram as it stop just at the hotel which is really easy and practical but there is not so early public transport from there to the center on weekends if you plan to reach the center very early.
Well, it's a quite decent hotel. Very good breakfast, modern rooms. Just near the final stop of trams 17 and 18 (Rikshospitalitet). Very polite and helpful personnel. There is an elevator and air-conditioners. Of course, it could be less expensive. About 80 euros per night - it's a lot. Yes, it's Norway, but still. But anyway, I would recommend this hotel.
Clean, rooms are ok, breakfast too. Rooms do have air-con. senior and disabled-friendly hotel! Free internet only in the lobby - not available in the rooms (2nd floor). Parking only possible at public parking lot (130NOK per night).
The staff were very friendly and the location was good. It was very difficult to find and no one seemed to know the street it was on. It would be much simpler if the website simply told people to get the tram 17 or 18 from Oslo city centre and get off at the last stop.
