It simply fuctioned No
I very much liked hotel staff as well as calm environment
they do not have (do not disturb) sign for the door. we also did not get our wakeup call on our day of departure
Very close to the beach convenient for the town centre too. The view from the rooftop terrace was beautiful. Although there was plenty of choice at breakfast - some of the food seemed an odd choice and it was questionable as to whether it had been put back out from the previous night's dinner.
everything was fine
Liked the free internet & the wonderful breakfast. The location was super, on the sea and our room was clean & comfortable Would have preferred a room facing the sea. Maybe next time. No complaints.
The manager and clerks were very nice. The location was perfect. The sheets were horrible.
Relaxed with helpful and friendly staff, fantastic buffet breakfast and great view from room and the roof terrace
friendly staff . excellent breakfast. convenient location originally booked a superior room in the annexe, however on arrival we found the annexe was due to close on the fifth day of our seven day holiday ,we were re allocated a room in the main hotel which didn't have the same facilities as the annexe room.
nice friendly staff, clean, location was great, great food, everything was really good deffenately recomend this hotel for stay in sitges
Breakfast and the pool.
the breakfest was excelent, friendly stuff, clean room, very good lokation.
lovely attractive pool area, friendly staff, good location
Reasonably comfortable room. Excellent shower. Amazing breakfast buffet,- 5-Star hotel Standard. Very friendly staff, with one excepion. Good central location. Poor quality soap and artifically coloured shower gel.On arrival we weren't allocated a Superior room.
Very centrally located. Good breakfast. The rooms are spacious but not very nicely furnished.
The location of the hotel is excellent for shops, beach, restaurants and nearness to the railway station. Although it is central the rooms are very quiet thus ensuring a good night's sleep. There is nothing I didn't like about the hotel. Overall, I was very satisfied with my stay.
Well-located in the heart of town, but quiet and friendly. The buffet breakfast was a wonderful surprise - a full breakfast with fresh fruit and everything you could want to choose from!
The staff were all very helpful and more than pleasant. I also have to mention the wonderful huge 'breakfast' buffet from 8 until noon. The parking is scarce and if you get a spot it's very 'cozy' but that's pretty much the way it is all over Spain.
Friendliness of staff, absence of noise, and munificence of the buffet breakfast!
I liked it very much.
Very comfortable stay, staff etc very helpful, although extra, the breakfast was very good value
Close to the beach, and within easy walking distance to the train station. I stayed here as it was cheaper than staying in Barcelona. The curtains were too thin and too much street light entered the room. In terms of brightness in the room at night, it was as if there was no night time.
Beach, very friendly people, good food, night action. Hotel is in very noisy area. This hotel is no for somone ho need sillent and good place for rest.I recommend this hotel for young people and guy's. Sitges is city of guy's.
It was close to the beach.
It was close to the main shops and clubs. It was filthy, walls were covered in drips and stains, hairs stuck on wall surfaces. We didnt like to speculate what the drips and splatters were but we only stayed one night out of the two we paid for. The housekeeping staff start early so if your going to enjoy the nighlife dont expect to get any sleep through the screaming and furniture moving.
Location was good. Most of the staff was nice but one of the desk clerks, Rene, was almost insulting. He was not accommodating in the things he could accommodate but it was the way he behaved that made us uncomfortable. The bathroom had no hooks for anything, the room faced a wall so we didn't know whether it was day or night, the floor was grainy.
the room was perfect for my needs and very restfull. Bedding and towels changed on "Daily " basis My room was located near the central stairs on the first floorand was disturbed by entrance / lobby noise. I found the entrance doors open allowing noise from the street and from the Sports bar. thank goodness for ear plugs on occassions
I had a great room with a balcony overlooking the beach
The location was very central It was a bit noisy
The position of the hotel and the emenities. The room was very dated, patio doors need double glazing to reduce external noise level.
It's really next to the beach and the staff is very nice and helpful. Great value for the money.
location, patio on top floor beds were hard, gave me a backache
Location, great restaurant food and staff, helpful reception staff Noisy babies in restaurant!
Location, cleanliness, staff and fantastic breakfast
Very nice hotel and great value for Sitges I was unable to reserve a table in their restaurant for Sunday dinner for my family. They should make an exception to "no reservation" policy for guests of hotel.
Location and staff
No hot water one morning. No internet access.
It's situation and excellent staff
i chose sitges for my wifes 60th birthday, we have never stayed in a hotel with such a lovely sea view.We enjoyed our 2 nights and would stay again.
The hotel was in a good location and sea view balcony was really nice. The room was basic and bathroom was large. Room service was very good. However for the price it was quite expensive but for the view that's what you pay for Breakfast was nice with a good choice and the restaurant was always busy in the afternoon.
Location on the sea front and next to the old town of Sitges The so called bar was poorly staffed and had very few seating spaces for a casual drink
The hotel is located really near the beach. They also have a nice restaurant. The restaurant seemed really popular. The hotel staff is friendly.
I've used the restaurant often in the past as it is in a great position and value for money and the staff appear to recognise you. I thought because of the great position in the town the hotel wouldn't have to try too hard to please and that it would be expensive and possibly a bit shabby. I was wrong. It had very resonable rates. Very clean, comfotable and important to me, extremely friendly. The restaurant food can be varied in it's quanity. I've had beautifully cooked dishes but also some very bland tasting food too. The service is however always good.
Ideal location. Excellent breakfast buffet.
The buffet breakfast was very good, room excellent & staff very helpful
The cleanliness, the hotel itself with spacious rooms and bathrooms. Nice view. Nice hotel staff. Great.
I like the beachside location, the higher floors, the closeness to the old town. On one evening there was too much noise from the restaurant at the beach opposite. (Hotel staff should have addressed this).
Very good location easy transfere to Barcelona ,peaceful area, Beds a lttle too hard.
The near location to the beach and the wiew of Sitges. The hotel staff and their ability to always be there whenever you needed them but never intruding in any way. My absolut favourite in Sitges will try to go back as soon as possible. The only thing that was a bit surprising was that during checkout we found out that there was NO tax included in the price so it got a bit more expensive then we had expected but it was still worth the money.
Location. location. Rooms in need of update, poor condition.
Location Very Noisey, you could here everything in the surrounding rooms. Manager and staff on desk when busy very rude. Reception internet computer very unreliable.
The location of the hotel was excellent and very convenient. Sea facing room was great. I was intially booked into a "mountain view room" - this title is very misleading as there was no view at all - I then requested an upgrade to a Sea Facing room. I did find the standard of furnishings in the rooms to be average by international standards.
the view to the sea the smell of the room... some kind of desificating liquid i assume it was that made the room smell quite bad
nice outdoor bar too expensive for a mediocre room compared with other hotels in the area
Located close to the sea, room was clean and air conditioned, had a beautiful seaside view, a nice balcony. I thought that an 80 Euro bill for a very small amount of laundry was very excessive.
The hotel was set at a perfect location.
romantic room a little small
Staff and location were excellent along with beautiful, stylish rooms. Nothing!
Price and reception by staff; closeness to beach promenade no
Wonderful hotel, beautifully designed, hone like feeling from stuff and owner. Would have extended my stay if I could to stay there. Great food too!
The hotel was in a central location, close to both cafes and beach. It's also very modern and feels very airy and fresh. It's a pity the location for the hotel close to the church on the Booking.com web site is incorrect and took a long while to find the hotel. Breakfast was very poor with very little choice or variety.
very stylish hotel there is no parking in the hotel (I think it is true for all the hotels in sitges) we had to pay 25 eur for the one night
The hotel is situated in the interesting inner city, near the beach, close to the shopping area. Very clean, new and modern. WiFi is free. The room is spacious. Very attentive and helpful staff. No bins in the room. Breakfeast is not very rich continental experience.Front rooms are noisy.
Very comfortable. Free wi-fi. Location. Breakfast is adequate, but more choice would help, particularly if a stay is more than a few days.
The hotel was bright and clean Room too small especially when classed as a 'suite'. Noise from nightclub could be heard until 3am when the hotel claimed to be soundproof.
Loved the rooms, the design and location. The staff was also extremely friendly and helpful. I have recommended and will recommend this hotel to my friends & family.
We stayed in an apartment hotel. The kitchen smelled badly of stagnant water. We had to keep the door closed during our one night´s stay. If we had booked in for a longer stay I would not have stayed in that room but as it was just one night we put up with the smell.
Very central; very near the beach; comfortable and clean Breakfast, was terrible
The staff were quite nice and helpful, the location is excellent and the rooms are big. We got free wine (which unfortunately was off..fizzy rioja!), and it was good to have a washing machine I found it far too expensive for what you get (a tired dated room). Also we found it hard to sleep because of the air con and the noise outside. We booked 9 nights but checked out after 1 and move to another resort. It certainly doesn't have the feel of a luxury hotel - maybe once but not now.
Nice manicured grounds and pool great location great balcony with view Wifi was expensive and slow foldout bed was uncomfortable poor aircon intrusive staff member who kept bothering us and yabbering on in spanish
Proximity to town yet still quiet I would like to have facility to extend TV stations - Sky Sport etc.
Location and rooms No bar by the pool
Mainly the fantastic sea and promenade views no
good location. quiet hotel inclusive breakfast good quality.
We went for one week in the 2 adults appartment (with baby). Seaside location is great, plenty of great restaraunts around. In house two italian restaurants are very good; room-service of the spanish breakfast was very much appreciated, as the room-service for the dinner. Appartment was +- 40m, small but did the job for 2 adults. Seaside views excellent. Kitchen was basic, but clean. Value for money. No problems with warm water. Cleanliness of the room could be better. The room smelled like dust and I don't think the cleaning service used a hoover in a while under the bed, etc. Not that it was dirty, but just dusty. Sofas looked a bit wasted and need replacement. Parking at 20eur to expensive for long holidays, although in the streets can enough parking been found. Bathroom showerhead was broken (but there was a second one).
location and hotel staff were brilliant was a bit noisy and there were quite a few children
staff very helpful, good location, got a place to store bags & have a shower long after check out , very usefull when flights are late at noght. the first room I got was on the main street and very noisy. but was soon sorted out with another room . so this must be an ongoing problem.
It's like family. very basic hotel, but we like the basic. They should install a little fridge.
good hotel, clean and not expensive situated in the middle of the city, and the people inside are very kind
The El Cid No
Freindlyness of staff
The hotel is basic and clean and the staff courteous and friendly. It is an excellent small budget hotel The rooms were a bit smaller than I realised they would be and the breakfast was rather monotonous. Some hard boiled eggs or fresh fruit would have been very welcome.
The location to the town centre and railway station is excellent for the price. breakfast was very basic
The locationof the Hotel - in the Center and near the Train Station. Very, very noisy!!!! Poor meals at breakfast! Music day and night at the bar - very noisy. No possibility to sleep normally. The cleaning staff is very noisy while cleaning rooms. Speaking (or even Crying) since very early in the morning. The staff at the reception desk - exxcelent! All the rest - very poor.
the hotel has been updated and refurbished since my last stay and has air conditioning and the rooms have been redecorated. i booked through this site and my requests weren't passed on- however the hotel was iot at fault and explained the situation to me fully and were very helpful.
I have just good worlds for this hotel and his stuff. You have to know only one - this hotel are love gay guys.
The very friendly staff made our stay very welcome. The buffet breakfast was extensive. The room had a lovely view over the pool and was very quiet. Its location is within 10 mins walk to the centre of Sitges - a very enjoyable and relaxing stay
Very well situated. Small but very pleasant. The staff are very helpful
Through my stay, I found that all staff was there to assist in anything I needed. I found location in Sitges great and setting (hotel it self) beautiful.
The double bed is very narrow and short. The bed is suitable for only 1 person who has to be shorter than 1.80 m.
Great location and a very pretty little hotel. Staff friendly, nice pool with sunbeds etc. Close to shops, bars and beach. Gay friendly. Not their fault, but building work is going on 100m away. Looks like it'll be there until Spring 2011. A bit noisy when they're working (they start at 8am even on Sats)
Location Rooms bit tired could do with revamp and beds hard bathroom very small.
Great location close to beach and nice garden with swimmingpool
Staff were excellent friendly and very compitent None
Excellent and very friendly staff. Very stylish, old building. Thin walls. You can hear every little noise from other rooms.
Good location near to beach and town centre, very helpful staff
A good location to find about Sitges with its surroundings in low season. We had a spacy bathroom. No it was up to expectations.
Convenient for Sitges shops, restaurants and nightlife. A short walk from the station and the beach. Reliable wifi. Handy small fridge in the room. Good value for money. Room was basic and old fashioned. Front desk staff were efficient but rather brusque and unfriendly.
Staff at front desk were extremely friendly and helpful at all times. Made us feel welcome. Ceiling fan in room as well as air conditioning was very useful. No English TV channels in room. Would have been nice just for one evening to chill out.
Great view s for Santa Tecla - friendly staff
breakfast was good an staff were helpful. it was good value.
Located in a quaint village setting. close to the Sea and Beach. Enjoyed the Festival. close to Barcelona. Lots of Gay Clubs. All in alll considering, it was OK
We really enjoyed the kindness and humour of the staff. The location is perfect. In sum we we're really pleased with our stay in Hotel Montserrat. The bed is somewhat hard, but this is a Spanish problem I guess :-)
The staff were very friendly and very helpful The pillows were very hard to sleep on.
The staff has always been nice to me. Too noisy, especially in the night.
central and economical
Only location Rooms are very old and dirty. Beds are uncomfortable.
The location was excellent, close to all bars, resteraunts, clubs, shops. Lack of coffee making facilities, no english tv channels.
after driving 700km we were looking forward to a nice hot bath, unfortunately the bathroom was so dingy we didn't even want to have a shower. This is a very poor hotel with a high price tag and we don't know why. We did fill in the questionnaire at the hotel.
proximity to the beach proximity to nightclub and sound of revellers at 3.00 - 4.00 am. Attitudeof staff when I complained about the central heating and lack of air conditioning at the time of my stay. Poor breakfast selection.
The hotel had a central location, close to railway and other facilities. The room it had excellent air conditioning, a modern television, and was relatively quiet at night. The lock on the room door was old, and could easily be opened, so there was little security. The room was very small and noticeably in need of renovation. The bed was not comfortable, and the tiled floor always felt dirty. The breakfast buffet was small and unappealing, and food was not replenished in a timely manner. The elevator was always oppressively hot, as it was not ventilated.
i loved the location , i was able to access all the important points city center , beach and even the stations the equipment used in the room (old a bit)
Friendly Very uncomfortable beds
Friendly staff, great location
Good location for Sitges and the station for access to Barcelona. Reasonably clean and tidy and the staff were friendly and helpful. Some balcony views could be a little more aesthetically pleasing.
standard of the room is very low; broken furniture, "overslept" bed, balcony broken and partially closed due to constuction. Breakfast buffet can hardly be called a buffet.
